Great tacos; especially shrimp and beer are highly recommended. They are in big portions; if you eat 3 tacos in general, you may consider 2 tacos here. Free chips and salsa. And have some drink options. Highly recommending if you are passing by.

As others have said - portions are more than generous, the food is delicious, there's a serve-yourself buffet of salsas to try, and the drinks are really delicious. I loved the raspberry iced tea personally but I believe there was also horchata there One recommendation - if you order something 'supreme' - it comes with a veritable pound of lettuce on top. If you get more than one supremes then you've basically got a massive salad obscuring your delicious tacos. Set it aside and hit it with a salsa so you can enjoy your tacos with a free salad My g/f and I didn't have time to go back the next day before getting on the road, but we would have loved to come back to try the breakfast burritos! Highly recommend this place, seems like an incredible local gem with a deep menu of deliciousness

I first ate here 25 years ago when we lived in Scotts Valley and since then it’s been my favorite taqueria in the area. Great food and lots of it. And now a 3rd location! Happy for you guys! The family that owns and operates the taquerias are wonderful. I see them working in the restaurants all the time and they are always warm and welcoming. I moved to Boulder Creek some years ago and we haven’t had a decent Mexican restaurant for a long time. We will be regulars!

I had a soup that wasn’t on the menu (I saw someone else eating it) and it was loaded with crispy chicken meat and burst with flavor. My favorite taco was the buche (pork belly) and lengua. The horchata was very good and the staff very friendly. Highly recommend.

Place is located in a quiet area but busy road. Restaurant has lots of seating, we had no trouble deciding on where to sit. We ordered our food at the counter and it was brought out in about 10 minutes. Let me just tell you it was very delicious. The beans definitely tasted like they came out of the olla.

This new Los Gallos location in Boulder Creek has been a dream come true for our little town in the woods. We finally have amazing Mexican food! The chips are to die for as is the pico de gallo. The shrimp are always fresh and plump and tasty. The super veggie burrito is supremely delicious. I like to add rice and shrimp to it. They also have a great soda fountain and selection of drinks. And the front staff is always so friendly and welcoming. Thank you, Los Gallos for serving us amazing food with a smile ❤️😋

Having lived in Mexico for 12 years, I can tell you that this is exactly what I'd be getting back there. You want authentic food and flavor? Well, you've found it! The Birria is pretty good and I would recommend you go outside your comfort zone and ask or try other dishes.

This place has changed hands again, so I have not yet plumbed the depths of their menu yet. The enchiladas were very good, and the chili relleno was outstanding! I am a little disappointed that they disassembled my favorite alcove in the corner by the window, but I will definitely get over it if the rest of their menu is on par with the food I had. Recommended. UPDATE: My Wonderful Wife took me to dinner here tonight, and by doing so we just discovered my new favorite menu item. Now this was a mistake born of miscommunication, but this was a telephone and Vulcanization of rubber kind of mistake, and I will be making it again very soon. Here goes . . . I wanted to know if (THAT'S IF) the Chile relleno burritos came with Carne Asada OR NOT. Paradoxically, the answer was no they don't - but YES they do FROM NOW ON! IT was FANTASTIC! The pepper was top grade and not overcooked, the meat was super tender and incredibly juicy, and the beans and rice were balanced so perfectly that I had to look for them - 2/3 of the way through this massive monster when I finally was able to talk myself into taking a breath. An amazing blend of deliciousness and hunger satisfaction that is truly very rare these days. Like I said, I am doing this again Very Soon! Highly recommended!!

I am really happy to have Los Gallos in town. Fast veggie burrito, good salsas, etc. All good. Most are a lil too spicy for me, so I don't go as much as I'd like. And I miss the grilled chicken of the old tacqueria. Ive been to as many tacquerias as i am old, and it was: outstanding grilled chicken. I asked about it, but it was lost in the transition, dismissed, gone.

There is over $1 fee for using a card here, and they do not disclose that beforehand or afterwards. The food is fine and the salsa is good. The soda machine and ice maker is still out of service. Overall good location, but the card fee is outrageous and not being told about it on two different occasions with two different employees makes it seem intentionally unspoken.

We lived in Scotts Valley for a long time and we stopped going to both of their locations because the guys that worked the registers were always rude, especially to my wife. Mostly the one by the SV market next the old Wendy's.
