An amazing evening. What an atmosphere from the moment I walked in and was greeted by smiling faces to the time when I was seated …. I tried the calamari for appetizer and it was perfectly cooked. My favorite dish is the Veal Marsala and I was not disappointed- it tasted delicious. I had a side dish of penne pasta because I heard the pasta was extraordinary. For desert I tried the Tartufo - very smooth when accompanied by a cappuccino. The atmosphere could not have been more perfect as we were listening to music by Dawn Michaels. I will be back as soon as I can !!

I want to thank Steven for an amazing experience at Ruocco’s in their new Boynton Beach, Florida location. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by an incredibly friendly staff. Jake was our server and took exceptional care of us from start to finish. We are regulars at the New Jersey location—it’s our go-to restaurant, especially for catering—so our expectations were already high. As always, the food was A++ and the staff was absolutely top-notch. The new Florida location is beautifully designed, and it’s clear that no expense was spared. Steven and Angela were both at the restaurant during our visit and made us feel completely at home, which truly made the evening special. Florida, you now have an authentic Italian restaurant with amazing food and even better people who genuinely care about their guests. Be sure to stop in and see for yourself—you won’t be disappointed.

We had a wonderful experience at Ruoccos. The service was excellent — friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome from start to finish. The interior design was stunning and the chairs were so comfortable. We started with an appetizer of mussels and a Caesar salad. For our main courses, we ordered the seafood risotto and the spaghetti with meatballs. The meatballs were absolutely delicious, and the spaghetti was cooked al dente. Everything was full of authentic flavor and beautifully presented. The highlight of the entire meal, though, was the tiramisu — hands down the best we’ve had! It was light, creamy, and the perfect sweet ending to a fantastic dinner.

My husband and I had plans to go out for dinner in Delray but decided to stay closer to home. Found this new restaurant to try and we were not disappointed in any way! Our server, Luigi, was very friendly, informative about the menu items and efficient. We shared a Caesar salad and the Artichoke Francese app. Both were top notch prepared and delicious. Not your average salad or app. I forgot to take photos of our meals but we got the crab stuffed shrimp special and rigatoni bolognese. Both delicately prepared with good presentation. Portion sizes were good, too. Prices were very reasonable. We ate outside because we had our dog with us but both inside or out, it was great ambience and easy to carry on a conversation. All the wait staff was very attentive to every detail. We’ll be back and take friends with us!

Only one word describes this new restaurant: Incredible! From the moment you walk in, this place feels like a hidden gem straight out of New York or Miami. We stopped in on a Sunday night and lucked out with seats at the bar. Our bartender was professional, personable and by the end of the night, we felt like we met a new friend. We also met the owner Steven, and had great conversations with him throughout the evening. This is always a great sign. Since I am kind of in the business, I could not help but admire the staff and the level of service. Truly impressive. Then came the food. We started with the Arancini, which are cheese-stuffed rice balls with black truffle cream sauce. All I can say is WOW. I hate to say it (because everyone in South Florida does), but it honestly felt like being back in New York. For our main dishes we had the Linguine with White Clams and the Gnocchi Braised Short Rib. Holy crap, absolutely outstanding. The atmosphere, the food and especially the service were all top-notch. Boynton has never had anything like this and I am so glad we found it. This is an upscale Italian restaurant with elevated food and service to match. While the reviews are overwhelmingly positive, I have seen a few saying it was “not worth it.” My tip? If you think it is too expensive (it is not) or you think the food and service were not great, you might just be a professional complainer and you should probably just stay home or Olive Garden is always an option! Bon Appétit! 🍝

Second time here. Shrimp organato and pasta bolognese was perfectly cooked and beautiful presentation. Pistachio tortufo with a lemoncello was the ultimate ending. Boynton Beach is so fortunate to have this gem. These folks know what it takes to be a specialty restaurant. The butterscotch old fashioned is a must have!

The food is a 10/10 service Gabriella was 10/10 The whole Ruocco family is there and cannot be any nicer. Steve,Angela,Bella and Gianna take such great pride in his latest restaurant he makes you feel like family. It’s as good as his New Jersey location. The double cut pork chop was like butter. The macaroni was just delicious and unfortunately I didn’t take a picture of the appetizer special of Sicilian Tripe was incredible. Get Nona’s rice pudding for dessert or the tartufo.

Owned and operated by the same family who owns / operates their original location in Manalapan NJ, this is a MUST eat in Boynton Beach adjacent to the BB Mall! Excellent ambiance, classic Italian American & Sicilian favorites served well by a polished and professional staff; Steve Sr the chef and Steve Jr the mixologist are pros and the portions for family style apps and salads are perfect for sharing (entrees too so you can save room for dessert)

Had such a beautiful night with the family enjoying a long awaited dinner at Ruocco’s Restaurant Boynton. The food was amazing from start to finish, the wine was great, and our waitress Gabrielle was the best. Highly recommend if you're in the area!

Great new restaurant in the neighborhood. Being a local in the Boynton Beach area and this addition couldn’t fit any better. I tried the Carbonara and wow it was to die for, one of the best I ever had. The service was amazing too and the place is very modern and elegant looking. Highly recommend it.

We tried Rucco’s last night for my birthday dinner. Boynton Beach dining just got a whole lot more exciting! The place is gorgeous inside. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. Beautiful lighting and music. But the food, it was heavenly! From the warm homemade bread, to the Panelle (a Brooklyn favorite) which could only be topped by the Chicken Scapariello and the Scallops over Risotto topped with bacon jam! Of course, you must finish with a taste of lemon cello and pistachio canollis! The owner, Steve, kept a close eye on all aspects and made us feel special by spending some time chatting with us! You can’t miss this experience and we are looking forward to another visit in the very near future! M & M!

We had an amazing dinner at Ruocco’s tonight!!! Appetizer Zuppa Clams with of course NY bread to dip. Branzino Picatta with Shrimp and Shrimp Oreganata - love those potato croquettes too! Everything was delicious!!! Great food and service.

This was our first time and we LOVED it!!! True NJ Italian food in Boynton Beach . It is modern and beautiful, the staff are AMAZING, especially our waiter Mike. He made suggestions that were a 10/10. The food came out steaming hot and cooked to perfection. We stuck to the classics- Caesar salad and meatballs to start , chicken parm and eggplant rollatini for the entrees, and the desserts were fantastic- Tiramisu and Chocolate Hazelnut cake. We will definetly be back !!!!

Ruocco's Boynton Beach is a superb restaurant. From bus staff to the owner, all workers strive to make sure you have a five star experience. I have eaten there three times in the last few weeks. Each time it has been first rate. Lindsey is a phenomenal waitress and bartender. She explains each special in detail. The bread is served hot with fresh butter. The burrata appetizer is excellent. Veal Sorrentino is tender and flavorful. The portions are plentiful. I highly recommend a visit to Ruocco's!!!

Ruocco’s in Boynton Beach is absolutely worth the trip — the food is top quality, and even though it isn’t close to home, it feels like coming home the minute you walk in. The Ruocco family never disappoints. From the appetizers to the desserts, everything is top notch — fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. You can tell they take pride in every plate that hits the table. If you want a place that delivers consistently great food with that warm, family-run vibe, Ruocco’s is it.

Great Italian food but what made the experience unforgettable was the service given by Gabriella. She was so friendly and had great suggestions, kept us laughing and even told us about the brunch menu. We will come back.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Outstanding Service and Authentic Italian Experience! I had a fantastic experience at Ruocco's Italian Restaurant! From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcomed and taken care of. The service was truly exceptional—friendly, attentive, and professional without being overbearing. Our server Josh C. was knowledgeable about the menu, offered great recommendations, and made sure everything arrived promptly and exactly how we wanted it. It's clear that customer satisfaction is a top priority here. On top of the excellent service, the food was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with love. You can really taste the quality in every dish. If you're looking for an Italian restaurant that pairs amazing food with top-tier service, Ruocco's is the place to go. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

My wife and I got a recommendation to try this new Italian spot in Boynton Beach, and it didn’t disappoint. One of the best Italian restaurants we’ve been to. Eggplant rollatini, chicken parm and penne alla vodka were delicious. Server Jack was nice, attentive and timely. Check it out for sure.

Hands down one of the best restaurants in South Florida. In defense to the restaurant, one of one of the other reviewers, if you notice it's the same person with different accounts. If you have that much time in your life to literally switch to multiple accounts just to talk about your experience at a restaurant I believe it's in the restaurants best interest that they don't need a customer like you. To the Ruocco family, keep doing what you're doing. I'm sure you already know due to your many years of success at your New Jersey location that you can't make everyone happy and there's always a sour apple in the bunch. Wishing you many many years of success see you guys soon for an amazing dinner.

took my parents there last night for dinner. Food was Amazing Staff was amazing and Food was even better. We ordered 3 apps, 3 entrees and 3 deserts and 4 drinks and we loved everything best part is the BREAD, Lisa was our server and she made the experience 10x better ask for her!

This place definitely lived up to the hype! The food was incredible from salads to entrées to the homemade desserts! Our server Luigi was knowledgeable and friendly. My friend and I spent a few hours there catching up and not once did we feel rushed to leave!

We had the most incredible experience tonight! The food was on another level – I was floored. The atmosphere was peaceful with appropriate music, and our amazing server Kalona gave us such generous care and attention. She is a star server. We were beyond impressed and will definitely be back again and again. What really stood out was seeing the owners working so hard alongside their staff, making sure every guest was taken care of. It’s rare to find owners who are not only present but also genuinely care about their customers, and it shows in every detail. Thank you, Ruocco’s, for such a memorable evening!

This restaurant is phenomenal! It is easily some of the best Italian food you'll find in South Florida. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and every dish is packed with incredible flavor. Owners Steve and Angela go above and beyond to make guests feel welcome, often stopping by to chat and get to know you personally. It was truly a 10/10 experience. You have to give it a try!

What a fabulous dinner and service was perfect! Grandmas salad - short rib gnocchi and veal francese were absolutely delicious - Gabriella our server was delightful and shared her knowledge of the menu with us - I’m already deciding when I can go back - a turkey five star experience - plus the atmosphere and buzz of the restaurant - you can’t believe you are in a strip center off of Congress

The food is delicious. 30+ people in our group spread across 4 tables & every appetizer, entree, & dessert was amazing. Very friendly, courteous staff that make you feel like family. The owner & his son are great & stopped by each table in the place making sure everything was good. Can't wait to go back in June.

Steve Ruocco Has brought his amazing Italian cooking from New Jersey to Boynton Beach. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated and has a cozy atmosphere. The staff is friendly and professional. Jake’s been out server several times and he’s very upbeat and on the money !! They have a large menu to choose from and offer specials every night. My husband especially loves The chicken scarpiarello, which is made off the bone in a delicious sauce and says it’s the best he’s ever had!! They also have a large Wine selection. You won’t be disappointed.

We had a very reasonable 25 min wait on a Friday night with no reservations for a table of 3- was honestly shocked because they were SLAMMED. And with good reason— the food, ambiance, and service was stellar. Prices are mid-to upper range for pasta but delish. We had a lovely time. Lobster ravioli, stuffed rigatoni in a spicy vodka sauce, and chicken parm all top notch. The mini cannolis were amazing as was the tiramisu. Wine was over priced but good. Highly recommend, but make a reservation on open table if you are going on a weekend!

I had an incredible experience here! Every detail was spot on, from the beautiful, comfortable atmosphere to the top-tier service. The food, however, was the real star. I had the lumache vodka sauce pasta, which was absolutely delicious. We also tried the Chicken Parm made with vodka sauce “Pink Panther”—a total game changer. I can’t wait to go back!

This was my first time visiting this restaurant. I absolutely loved it! The owner Steve, is both personable and welcoming. The ambiance is inviting and relaxed. Our waitress was a sweetheart! She suggested that I have the strawberry breeze and add tequila. It was super yummy, I ended up having three! I had the Oreganata with shrimp and it was divine! I mean, the food was absolutely amazing! A+++++

Best dining experience we've had in the Boynton beach area by far. Service was amazing, felt like we were catered to at all times without being overwhelmed. Great menu options and perfect portions. We specially liked the gnocchi with short rib, so delicious and fresh. Everything was made to order. Atmosphere was wonderful, nice soft music and low lights. Perfect for date night or a night with family. Prices were not cheap, but extremely reasonable given the quality. We will be back again as soon as we can and will bring our family too.

Food is fantastic. Being from the Northeast, this is as close as you’re going to get right here in Boynton. It is on the pricier side but you will not question the quality and won’t leave hungry. Been there a few times now and will continue to go. Finding a parking space is a little tough in that plaza sometimes but the mall is right next to it so if you don’t mind walking just a little bit, there’s plenty of parking down by there.

New restaurant in the Boynton Beach neighborhood! This is a fancy place with prices to match. The food was good. My favorite part of the meal was the warm bread that is flown in from Staten Island. Our waiter John was so adorable and forfilled every dinning need we had.

This was our first experience at Ruocco's. We sat on the patio (by request), which was very nice, and was designed for privacy. We arrived during Happy Hour and ordered an Old Fashioned and a glass of Pinot Grigio. The cocktail was well made and well portioned. The glass of wine was, at best 4oz, and with HH pricing $9. The website indicates that wine glasses are 6 oz. HH pricing in this area for wine is $6 or less, so that was quite high. We ordered the Stuffed Rigatoni and Carbonara entrees. The food was good. We frequent several Italian restaurants in Boynton Beach and Delray Beach where the food is superior to our meals last night. Our server Luigi was very good, pleasant, helpful and available if needed. Overall a good experience, however we likely will not return, as there are better options for us.

Nov 2025 A friend wanted to try the restaurant, so we did. I had the Snapper Puttanesca (pictured) and my friend has chicken piccata. My snapper was undersized for the price and came with spinach only. My friend had two huge chicken filets for a lot less (hence 3 stars). Had my snapper been a larger portion, more stars. Overall food was good. Table a bit tight for two people especially when plenty of 4-tops were available (we dined late). Will I return? Yes, just will not order the fish ever again. Not worth the price paid.

I have been to Ruocco’s several times, however last Sunday was an experience I have never experienced before in any restaurant. My party of 4 arrived 25 minutes prior to our reservation. There were several empty tables yet told to continue the flow of eating, we could go to the bar or come back. The manager came over and seated us at the worst possible table by the door. Each time the door opened we froze due to frigid Florida temperatures. At the maître d’s table there were three women checking my reservation. Before even finishing a course, someone was there to pick up our plates and utensils! Honestly, I’ve never seen anything like it. Although our waiter kept insisting, “there’s no rush,” we were rushed. The food was outstanding, however, the personnel spoiled our dining experience. This has never happened at the New Jersey location and leaves little desire to return as Ruocco’s is hardly the only fish in the sea.

Gabriela Ramesar

The food was pretty decent. Highly recommend the gnocchi with meat. The attentiveness of the staff was incredible as they were warm and friendly. The service was really great EXCEPT for the main waitress. We were seated against the window directly across from the hostess stand. We had a party of 5, and she charged us the “large party” tax (automatic 20%) even though large parties are 6 or more (as confirmed by a manager). Her attitude was dismissive and combative and tainted our dining experience. RESPONSE: yes, we did flag it to waitress and as mentioned she was dismissive and combative insisting that “5 is a large group”. The issue was not resolved. It made our group feel like she was securing a 20% tip for inferior service

Very serene atmosphere where one can have a pleasant meal. Pastas were good and service was too. OTOH when I’m paying $35 for corkage, it’d be nice if the server filled the glSSES

I was so excited to have my birthday dinner with 10 friends in what I thought was a New York Italian restaurant. I am so upset at our experience. They are very understaffed (1 waitress for multiple tables.) Service was very slow. We called ahead to ask if we could bring a cake and they said yes, and when we arrived they told us there would be a $3.50 charge per person to serve the cake. 😱 Worst of all, the food was sub-par. Short ribs had a reheated/leftover taste and we sent that back. Orecchiette with broccoli rabe had to be sent back because of a chemical taste (the rabe wasn’t cooked properly or was just bad). The shrimp scampi had an oddly “smoked” taste and pretty flavorless otherwise. All other meals were just “okay” according to my guests.. I asked for olive oil to dip the bread and it was poor quality (not extra virgin). I spoke to the owner about the cake fee and he “made a deal” to only charge us $20 for the cake service. There was an attitude about this place that, for a newly opened restaurant who will need word of mouth recommendations, was not what you would think. Do yourself a favor; save your money and cook a good, fresh Italian meal at home.

G
George

The already dismal Boynton dining scene is not enhanced by this hyped addition. The food is overly seasoned, masking any underlying flavors. The bread was the best part of the dinner. Very nice staff and service. Pleasant interior and an OK patio adjoining a parking lot.

L
Linda M

It was our second time eating here celebrating a birthday this time. Very very noisy. We were seated between the bar and the hostess area (front door). where staff and people waiting for a table seemed to congregate. The food wasn’t as good this time as last. Not enough staff to wait on tables. Had to ask for water several times and one of the dishes did not contain the shrimp as stated. Everyone was disappointed and we will not be returning any time soon.

M
Michele Migliuolo

We arrived earlier than our guests, and the hostess was very welcoming. The bartender quickly and courteously offered us glasses of water. Sharing the most important issue: the self-identified "owner" took the time to publicly chastise us because, after waiting 35 minutes watching him take care of everyone else multiple times and trying to get his attention, we had the temerity to ask our waiter what it would take to get his attention and put in our order. That said, he magnanimously assigned a different waiter to us, who turned out to be a FANTASTIC young lady with superior customer service and sales skills.... We tipped her over 45%, because she more than earned it. The New Yorkers on staff THINK they speak Italian. They speak Sopranos Italian and do not impress this immigrant from Rome. How many times do I have to hear "moozzarell" and "brooossshheetuh? The food was pleasant but not authentic. The bread was excellent, with our young lady telling us that it is flown in from Long Island. The bruschetta was served cold with some inappropriate cream on top. The tuna special was great. My guests appeared to enjoy their dinner. We had the luck to sit outside. The dining room was super cold and extremely noisy from the start, to the point of not being able to hold a conversation. The patio became noisy once it filled up. The bathrooms were clean and private.... Attaching here are photo I took in May 2024 of a restaurant in Rome, and its owner. The sign on the wall says it all. The owners of Ruocco's should abide by this principle. They are not living in Italy in the 70's, when the attitude they showed us last night was rampant in private business. They are living in the United States where, as the sign says, all small business owners never forget who pays their mortgage. Vergognatevi! Vergognatevi! Per come ci avete trattato. Terroni maleducati!

Michael Randell

I never write reviews like this but I was not happy with our experience at all. It was my wife's birthday and I mentioned it on the reservation but firstly, we ended up being sat outside of the restaurant right near the window on the strip mall sidewalk. While they made this outdoor "patio" kind of nice, it still feels like you're sitting out in the parking lot. If I'm paying these prices, I expect to not sit out on a strip mall sidewalk with a view of the parking lot cars in the background. On top of this, our table was wobbly and neither of us could cut our food without making the whole table wobble and spill half of my wife's $20 cocktail all over the table. I also mentioned it was my wife's birthday to the waiter and usually when you do so you maybe will get a scoop of ice cream or something with a candle on it. I've never been to a restaurant where you tell them it's your birthday and there is no "happy birthday" or a little something. EDIT: So I guess after the owner responded - Firstly, this was nothing to do with the server, he was a great. Secondly, you have to buy a dessert to get them to "stick a candle in it" and come and sing Happy Birthday? - So you're telling me that if I bought a cannoli you'd stick a candle in it? I guess the birthdays are only for paying customers? Only positive was the food. It was pretty good.

Ordered appetizers then entree special and unfortunately the special was not to our liking and when we advised the server the next thing we now the owner / chef was at our table with his hands on his hips asking my wife what her problem was and proceeded to tell her that she said something that she didn't say about the entree. He then be came very verbally abusive to her I told him that was extremely unprofessional of him that he should not yell at customers and state things that we never said. It was quite embarrassing, and the look on other patrons....well let's just say they were in shock as well. Waitress even came back to apologize and then son/manager came over very polite- Just have NEVER be treated like this ever in 30 years dining out. Chef needs to stay in kitchen and let son/manager handle customers.

D

This is the first time I am reviewing a restaurant. We waited over 20 minutes to just to get water. The service continued to be bad throughout the night. It seemed there was 1 waitress for way too many tables. My shrimp scampi was so-so. 3 other people in my group were unhappy with their meals. I definitely do not recommend.

January 2026 NEVER GOING BACK! RESPONDING TO BOSS SR'S COMMENT.... NOTHING WAS COMPED AS YOU STATE BELOW. Your team did bring lemoncello to our table afterwards failing to note that only one person ordered wine, apparently not recognizing that most of the table did not drink. ...Again going back to the lack of attention to our table and the overall lack of care for your customers. Your comment regarding you did not realizie you had to follow back up with my wife after your conversation, when you said you would, goes back to your overall lack of customer care that we have experienced. If it truly was a glitch in your system, it seems to me that you would have taken more care to make sure the rest of our evening was pleasant...which you did not not...I believe we waited about 20 minutes for the desserts we ordered and paid for...even for the birthday girl. -------------- We had a horrible experience at Roucco’s at 701 N Congress…DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AT ROUCCO’S Six of us went here for my mother’s birthday…the first thing we noticed on the menu is there is a 2 hour seating limit, a 3% fee for using a credit card, and a 20% gratuity added (in essence a 23% tip). At first the hostess staff was friendly but after we waited about 45 minutes after we ordered with no bread or water refills etc., the “Boss Jr” came over to tell us our order was not put in. He took our order again and put it back in. Our thought was that our order would be rushed and we would be served relatively soon since we were almost 1/2 way through our specified table time limit. We were wrong…we were there well over the 2 hour limit…almost 3 hours I believe. Everyone has bad days and things don’t go perfect all the time but the worst thing about the experience was their attitude and lack of understanding or care of our experience. When we tried to comment as we were leaving the waiter acted like he did not know what was going on or that anything was wrong, which may be the case because he neglected our table….my guess is he knew he had a 23% tip guaranteed so did not need to provide good service to our table or even make sure our order was being prepped . Boss Jr was equally rude, so my wife called the next day. She spoke with the owner, I assume Boss Sr., he was nice enough and said he would check into the concern…but guess what no follow up which is consistent with our dining experience. WE WILL NEVER GO BACK AND SUGGEST YOU DON’T EITHER…we work to hard for our money and there are to many other deserving restaurants to enjoy, who actually care about their guest’s experience….even though Rouccos does not want their paying customers to linger for over 2 hours, for the sake of turning the table…they certainly don’t mind if they waste “your” time if they forget to put your order in……
