Love this place everything was on point. The quiche Florentine was delicious and the chicken pesto sandwich was delicious, the service was great
Laura gave us 5 star attentions. She was super sweet to all of us and the food was exquisite. I highly recommend this place. The atmosphere was great and homey.
Great service amazing food!!! I rave for their attention to detail with authentic food choices. Everyone is always so pleasant when we come here it feels like family here. The manager is so accommodating and pleasant when we visit they even know isn’t bu name!!!
My wife, youngest son and I met her parents for lunch here on the Tuesday after Memorial Day. We were promptly seated and ordered our drinks while browsing the extensive menu. Orders ranged from breakfast items, hamburgers, and pasta. All dishes were cooked to perfection and enjoyed by all. This is a busy section of the mall location and there are several other eateries a short distance away. Our parents especially like Mimi's as there is usually less ambient noise, which makes it easier to hear while conversing over lunch. Very fair pricing and great service make Mimi' s an excellent choice for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
Got out early and figured I have breakfast at my favorite spot Mimi's. Had the corn beef and hash eggs Benedict with a hot cup of coffee. I usually don't eat no ones corn beef and hash but my mom's but this was very good and was fairly priced. The staff is very prompt and friendly my coffee was always filled without me reminding them to fill. Can't go empty handed without a muffin 💯.
First time there. Looking for a place for a late breakfast (@11a.m) The breakfast menu is quite large and a great variety . The serice was great. The food was delicious. I had spinach crepes. There is a full bar and a nice selection of different types of mimosas. Definitely going back
There was only one other couple in the restaurant that rainy, Sunday night. Staff was very attentive, but not overly so, as I am sure they were bored to tears. The food was good and I would go back.
A+ service & DELICIOUS food! I've never been disappointed here! Stopped by for dinner after the old trick-or-treat & had the tastiest burger (The French Quarter). Just yum x yum! 😋 Also, THE BEST blueberry muffin you will ever have; I always get one 'to go' for breakfast the next day! 😋
First time visiting but not our last! We were seated after a short wait in their comfortable lobby. Our booth was large and the service came right away. We were pleasantly surprised at the quality and portion size of the breakfast tacos, which came with salsa and guacamole. It's rare to have both good food and great service from a chain restaurant, but Mimi's Cafe pulled it off. Looking forward to our next visit!
Figured I'd go ahead and put my review up. Since personally, I know other like myself rely on these reviews when looking to go out for a meal. Mimi's is a great brunch place, very atmospheric. Super delicious bakery items, my favorite is the banana bread. Wonderful staff, we always look for our favorite waiter Cynthia. I trust her with my children's food and my own. Let me tell you.. your waitress or waitress is what makes your experience and Cynthia makes it as pleasant as it can possibly be.
Mimi’s is always great. My favorite dish is the mushroom, Brie and bacon omelette with a pancake add on, blueberry muffin to go. My husband’s favorite is pasta jambalaya
Food for Thanksgiving was excellent standard fare and the service was incredibly great for a busy afternoon.
I used to eat here often when it was by my house. The staff is very attentive and kind. I gave a 3 because a lot of the dishes I used to eat there did not taste the same. I had Chicken & Waffles. The Waffles were delicious, the chicken tasted weird and had a strange smell. I was not sure if it was spoiled or just poor quality. The quiche was just ok, It used to taste so delicious. I believe they changed the recipe, same with the muffins. I brought a 4 pack and a 2 pack again. I was disappointed, not warmed. Tasted stale. I hope they pull it together. The menu is good. The vibe is good. Just need the original good tasting food.
We dropped in for a late lunch on a cold and blustery December weekend. The dining room was surprisingly slow and the service was above and beyond! Dawnya showed us to our table and chatted family while we got settled and decided on drinks. Amina was our server and she was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. I hope these two never leave because they provided the best service we have had in all of the years we have been visiting this restaurant! For those wondering, we had the 3 course meals. I went with the French onion soup, baked brie, pot roast, and toffee cake. My husband had the Caesar salad, chicken strips, Parmesan chicken and bread pudding. I couldn't have asked for a cozier meal on such a cold and miserable day. Absolutely delicious!!!
Friendly staff. Good food and service.. love the atmosphere!
I have been to several Mimi's Cafe over the years and while I'm not a chain restaurant person, they would be on my exception list. I go there when I'm craving a salad. But I must give an extra rave review for this particular location! All the employees must be on happy pills. Huge smile from the front person and our waitress could not have been more attentive. I wish I would have gotten her name because she was just over the top with smiles and genuine concern for customer satisfaction. Clearly everybody seems to enjoy working there so kudos must go to the general manager for taking care of their employees.
I loved this place! It's so cute inside. My husband & I both got the sandwich trio & I truly felt like it was the best food/deal I've got for $15 in a long time. The tomato soup was heavenly. My daughter loved her kids meal & the dessert. The bread pudding almost made me cry, the whiskey sauce was phenomenal. Service was good, our food came out in less than 10 min & our waitress was kind & funny. We live super close by so we'll definitely be back.
My work had a breakfast meeting here so I now have a recent experience to review--finally. I never really thought of coming to this restaurant before but I was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere is great and the fireplace makes it cozy. The wait staff was excellent. I drink a lot of iced tea and she was on it every time I emptied my glass; around 6 times in just over an hour. I love, love, love it when someone pays attention to my drink. The food was excellent! I'm definitely curious to try more of the menu and will show up again for sure.
Fast and friendly service, delicious food. Great spot to eat all around
Very great delicious food, Waitress Adriana VERY VERY SWEET AND KIND MOST DEFINITELY VERY HELPFUL. GREAT SERVICE
Friendly and welcoming staff. Delicious food. This review is for the tomato basil soup with bread bowl. TRYYYY ITTT!!!! You will love it. And the ambience is elegant and pleasant. It seems like a different era.
I popped into my old pal Stuffer Longrod, and his little stab Kai Lyn as I was coming out of Macy's and they asked me to swing by on my way out. They were picking up a whole bunch of stuff from Mimi's Café and insisted I stop by. Well..what could I say, after all...the food from Mimi's Café is just this side of Amazing bordering on Spectacular! They got a turkey dinner for 8 people with a multitude of side dishes...It was like walking into Grandma's house on Thanksgiving! Everything was just amazing, and the turkey was cooked perfectly as was everything else!...I settled in for the dark meat and believe me it was the best I've ever had. 5 stars ☆☆☆☆☆
Came here on Veterans Day and was happy to be sat after not too long of a wait. I used to go here all the time in high school but the one near me closed down. So nostalgic!
I was in town for business and stopped by just to get something to eat. The place was nice and quiet. The food came extremely fast and the service was great. The meatloaf was actually really good so was the spinach. I've eaten it quite a few of these across America and haven't had as good of experience as I did at this one. If I'm in town I'll definitely be back.
I give 5 ☆ just for the MUFFINS! This restaurant is under relatively new management and they did some changes to a perfect menu. I know many people who won't return but fortunately they kept the best part about MIMI'S the same which is the MUFFINS and for that they deserve 5 ☆. They make a CINNAMON SPICE AND APPLE CINNAMON SPICE that are very SOFT and FRESH on the bottom and nice and CRISPY and CRUNCHY on the big top. Your tongue will thank you for getting some of these MUFFINS. ENJOY.
This has been my favorite restaurant in Fairfield for over ten years. The staff is soooo friendly and the environment is always clean and relaxed. Great wine and great food. Bring a sweater as sometimes it gets a bit chilly inside but honestly no complaints. The meatballs and corn chowder are my Go-To but the brick chicken was also great!
Came here for breakfast for the first time. It took some time for the food to come out but when it did it was hot, flavorful and delicious. They accommodated my request to sub bacon for avocado in my eggs benedict and it was tasty. Tyler was extremely friendly and genuine which I appreciated.
We ordered meatloaf, fish-and-chips and jambalaya. All the food was good but the bread was old and stale and they served it with margarine!! I also ordered a small ceasar salad and the bowl that came in was still super hot like it just came out of the dishwasher. Salad should always be served in a chilled bowl. But I have to note that our waitress was super great and really friendly!
I ordered the butternut squash ravioli with shrimp, French onion soup and maple bacon brussells sprouts from their seasonal menu. It took a while to get my food and drinks but granted it was during the lunch rush. Overall, I still had a great time and will definitely be going back!
It's a great place for a dinner or lunch with family or friends.
Nice wait staff. Food was flavorful and portion size was average. Clean atmosphere and convenient location. I enjoyed my meal and did not feel rushed. I dined during weekday brunch early lunch time. I would gladly go again.
Cannot believe how few people were in the restaurant, our service and food was very good. Mimi's has a great selection and the prices are fair. The AC was perfect on a hot day. We were driving around and around looking for another restaurant we could not locate and gave up and went into Mimi's and had a perfectly fine meal.
Food was done well. Reasonable but not inexpensive prices. Good selection of different types of meals. Service a bit spotty. Orders and food done quickly but server didn't come by to check how things were, see if we needed drink refills for quite a while. Overall a good experience though.
This cafe is a real gem! The atmosphere is cozy, and the staff is friendly. The coffee is always excellent, and the specific food item you enjoyed, e.g., pastries, sandwiches, avocado toast are delicious. It's a great place to relax or meet up with friends. Highly recommended!
Great place to visit. Always pleasant
Food was good but our server was great! Tried the new Birria potatoe appetizer- ok but needs cheese.
Very good food, and really nice variety of authentic Mexican dishes.
I always love a Mimi's. Nice brunch. Waitress was friendly and fast. No complaints. Always love me some Quiche Florentine! I do very much recommend. Its a happy family restaurant with a separate full bar in the center you can sit at. MIMOSAS FOR $5.00, nice.
Had a great meal tonight at Mimi's Cafe. There were 9 of us. The corn chowder was AMAZING! Burritos were HUGE. All the meals were good, but the pricing seemed a bit high for what we got. We would go more often if it didn't cost an arm and a leg to go.
Absolutely yummy breakfast experience. Mimis Cafe hands down new favorite breakfast spot in the area. The French toast and poached eggs and the sunrise omelette are some of the Uber delicious items on the menu and on point. The service is is good as the food, very clean and orderly. All safety measures during these strange times were followed by the staff, and i felt every bit of comfortable being in this establishment.
First time coming here, not bad at all. Very cozy, decent bar and good service. However I'm only putting 4 stars due to the fact that my steak was like 80% fat and barley any actual meat. Everything else was good. Will definitely come again but I'll prabably order something different.
Mimi's has been better in the past, but it's still good. Just not as good as it was a few years ago. But my mother and I still like to go there occasionally. Good food, nice atmosphere. Just not great. Mimi's could be brought back to its former glory without much effort- it's at really good starting place. Not sure what happened, but I hope the owner and staff step up.
Mimi's was one of my favorite restaurants. It seems to have become a bit worn in atmosphere. The food was still very good and the service was good. I was disappointed that we didn't get a basket of assorted breads as usual in the past. The lava cake was amazing!!
The worst corned beef and cabbage i have had. Frozen carrots and super smashed potatoes no flavor at all. The service was great.
The food is good, however their service is not consistent. I went to Mimi's two days in a row at approximately the same time of day. The first day the service I received was excellent! I was acknowledged & helped as soon as I walked through the door. The young lady who helped me was great! She was patient with me while I asked her several questions about items on the menu. The second day no one was at the hostess station, I stood there for a few minutes, then went to the counter to place a to go order. Stood there as several employees were busy doing other things. After standing there for a few minutes someone finally acknowledged me & asked if I had been helped. They couldn't help me but went to get the person who could. When the person finally came to help me, he asked if I could wait while he went to seat a couple that came in after me! After they were seated I was finally able to sample the tomato basil soup(it was good) & place my order to go.
The food is predictable. They have taken away some of the menu items. You no longer receive a muffin with your dinner salad. That's fine cut they kept the price the same. The last few time items were cold or undercooked. Service is always great.
Service was great I ordered quiche Lorraine but got quiche Florentine, I didn't mind but the crust needed to be cut with knife. Red potatoes were deep fried instead of grilled. Place was clean and friendly but I think there won't be a next time. Sorry for that.
It was a lovely lunch on the patio outdoors our server was attentive respectful and excellent customer service. The patio was clean flowers were fresh however, food could have been hotter. Overall it was a lovely out door lunch experience.
Foods really good, much improved since their last menu changes, but parking is frequently a,problem and whike the staff are very polite and helpful the time to get the food out from the kitchen is ridiculous. We were having brunch. It wasn't really crowded and yet it took OVER an hour just to get the food to us and our order was just soups. Sandwiches and salad between the 2 of us. If you have lots of wait time then food's good.
The food is Denny's at best with atmosphere. I was there at 9:00 in the morning and I was one of three tables. Across the parking lot was Mel's and there was a wait. Sunday morning
My husband and I enjoyed an after moving house dinner here for the first time today. I selected the $30 3 course menu after asking the server if it would be possible to substitute the sugary desserts for a small portion of fruit for medical reasons, to which she agreed that would be fine. The food arrived and it was very good and we both enjoyed our selections. After clearing my husbands dishes she the come back with the small fruit portion and said I can’t substitute the dessert and have charged you $3 or $4 for the fruit. Still not clearing my dishes, she offer no other part for the 3 course menu as she had charged us for the fruit. So my 3 course meal was in fact 2 courses as no other course was offered but I was still charge for the 3 course menu AND the fruit portion she had agreed upon before I had finalised my order. Will we go back? Maybe, I’m not one to dismiss something completely out of hand but I do feel a little hard done by as I had asked and she had agreed before I had ordered to the substitution. Oh… and she still did not clear my dishes by the time we paid and left. Thinking this was not the best way to treat first timers.
I ordered the thanksgiving meal and need to change my pickup date from today to tomorrow but the phone number is out of service and I have been unable to get in touch with anyone at the location. Please contact me. This is my Order No: 1486865
I called the day before for reservations because we had 8 ppl joining us,but called the day of to add 2 more people. Whoever answered the phone was pretty rude and lazy(2:30 pm). They kept saying, "It's ok, we aren't busy anyway..No one is in the restaurant.."....Strange. Upon arriving (4/11/2022) we were sat after a few minutes by some short lady who really could give damn! For 10 ppl we needed more than 2 tiny tables that were right next to the kitchen, so we asked our server if we could have an extra table-she obliged and moved another table for us. She was actually very attentative and very sweet( I didn't get her name though but she had long black hair & young..5 stars for her-she should be recognized for a good job too!). I got a salad and a quiche Lorraine, the quiche had a very dry and hard crust. 😬 Towards the end I think our server had to go to another serving area..It was a birthday gathering and after the cake we brought was brought out by someone else we didn't see anyone again..👎 Kinda sad..
Today we went to Mimi‘s for my mother-in-law‘s birthday We ordered four dishes one dessert. Everything was fine until we got up to the salad. Many leaves in the salad were dark brown and rotting (all of the rotting leaves were placed under fresh full looking leaves on the top of the salad, but when I got to the bottom, it was a different story), and the salad had a foul odor to it and taste. I ate at best a few bites and very soon lost my appetite. I’m glad my mother-in-law‘s food and my husband’s food was OK, though as for myself, I will not be returning. On a sidenote, the service from our waitress/waiters were super helpful and attentive.
I ordered the avocado toast. The portion was small. One piece of toast. The poached eggs were hard on the inside, overcooked. The fresh fruit that came with it was not fresh. The watermelon obviously was from the day before and it all tasted day old. Definitely not fresh. The price for the portion was a little on the high side. Very disappointed.
Good food but less of it. Price increases. No carrot bread with meal or soup either. Things change with inflation. The chicken parmesan was tasty. So was the corn potato soup to start with we paid extra for. Bread and butter came with the meal. We shared the meal. Christmas, holiday parties were happening, too!
The place is large and inviting, and our server was great. However, the food is, how should I put this, not good. I had the pot roast dinner and au gratin potatoes. The pot roast was dry, I mean so dry and salty that I had to take a sip of water after every bite. The potatoes were also dry, way too salty and topped with what I can only describe as cardboard cheese. This is one of their signature dishes, according to their menu, but the ingredients used to make it were sub par. I think the corporate office should probably put as much emphasis on their choice of ingredients as they do on their cheesy French cafe decor.
My food was fine, but my husband had quite a bit of hair in his pasta. Not good. It also took a long time for us to be seated after three people made eye contact with us, and it wasn't busy. I would definitely recommend going elsewhere.
Took my mom for Mother’s Day. Although the food was good our service was not. We were there for at least 45 minutes after finishing our food because our waitress kept forgetting about us. She made a comment like she did it on purpose so we can have more quality time together.
Went there Saturday afternoon with my family. The waiter was very nice, but apparently not trained very well in customer service. Took awhile to get our drinks after order was taken. My daughter specifically asked for her hamburger to be only meat and cheese, no sauce. Her hamburger came with sauce. Sent back and it took at least 15 minutes for her meal to back. We had to ask this server for refills every time he came back. We dine at Mimi's at least once every two weeks. It is very rare when this happens.
Great service by the servers, food was choices and flavor were good. At least 3 star. Manager stop by table to tell us a chair was blocking service and a fire hazard. The restaurant was empty. No argument with her need to move the chair. My issue was HOW she delivered the message and not providing solutions.
We came in around 9 on a Sunday was seated right away. When we were asked for are drink order the wait staff asked for my wife's order and then was rude when she asked the difference between two drink. And walked off with out taking my order. When I ask to order a drink the wait staff was rude and acted like I just inconvenienced her and was rude. I seen the Manger get up for the bar once to help and looks mad every time she had to help out. Food was great as always but the wait staff and they wonder why they get bad tips.
Spider webs above our heads. Crayon market on the walls and something that I couldn't identify was splattered on the ceiling and wall too. Now I know why there were only a few other people there.
My salmon was bad and my coffee was…chunky. Probably won’t be returning
Ask for Benedict eggs to cook soft twice just to make sure. Server said ok I will let them know. Received food well done. Then when brought to her attention. She just keep apologizing never offered to remake or remove from bill ect. I believe her understanding was minimum.
Service was fine, but the food is not it, especially for the prices they charged. My party got three cups of french onion soup that each came out lukewarm, lukewarm, and cold. The cheese was not melted, and the bread topping seemed untoasted. The brie patty melt was dry, both the mushrooms and meat had a funny taste. The tuna filling in the tuna melt was dry and tasted like cat food, and the way the bread was toasted made it taste like whatever griddle they must have cooked it on. The pot roast was tough, and both the mashed potatoes and meat + gravy came out lukewarm. Another customer near us complained about his food being cold too, and sent it back. The breakfast items were fine, but I do not suspect most people would order breakfast at dinner. Dessert was great. Probably would not return based on the food alone, or at least not come for a time other than breakfast or brunch service. You would do just fine going to Mel's, Black Bear, or an iHop instead.
I used to live Mimi's I Dublin CA so I decided to meet a friend at this Mimi's. The first time I ordered a burger, since I haven't had one in months. It was dry as can be and the meat tasted old. I have the restaurant a second chance so I ordered the French dip. The meat tasted like old frozen meat and the au jus was garbage. Arby's is much better than this place for half the price.
Service was one of the worst service I've ever had in a restaurant. Main course came 5mins after getting our soup, and then they where asking what we wanted for dessert, even before we finished our dinner. Maybe they are okay during a normal business day but on a holiday they need to get their shit together. I will never patronize Mimi's Cafe restaurant ever again.
Wow, can't believe or understand how poorly our party was treated, which included my 100 year old mother, on the day before mother's day. Receptionist was rude more than once (staying "well you will just have to wait"). We had a long 40 minute wait ( was supposed to be 25), then after being seated no server appeared after waiting 10 min or longer at a patio table (having originally requesting an inside table). Another patron, experiencing long wait for service on the patio, was just coming back to her table after complaining to the rude receptionist when we decided to leave and go across the street to Red Lobster, where we were promptly waited on. Zero or negative stars if that choice were allowed.
I had the chicken mushroom pasta in a white sauce and a small Caesar salad And a margarita. The margarita tasted like it was pure lemon juice and it was served in a talll water glass. The Caesar salad was so dry I barely found a drop of dressing on it. Before I was finished with my salad the server put my entree on the side of the table, open to the elements getting cold while I finished my salad. The chicken was tender but tasteless as was the sauce and the fettuccine noodles were Cut (I am not a child). and unevenly at that. Some pieces were 3 inches, some were 6, some 2. It was very difficult to eat. I never use salt at the table but I had to embellish this dish so it would taste like something. I added salt pepper and lemon slices that I asked for. Then it tasted okay. Oh and don't plan on having a relaxing dinner; you're expected to be there to eat and get out. I had planned to eat dessert when I noticed one of my favorites was on the menu so I asked for a box for part of my meal and when she came back she came back with my box and the check and never asked if we wanted to have dessert.
I think this place is cursed as far as online ordering goes. Also, the staff is VERY rude. Every time I've been here, the staff has treated me poorly. I tried to order online through their website. I just wanted one 3-course turkey dinner to go. I've ordered before last year and had no issues. But this time, it wanted to pre-authorize my credit card and said it would charge me 101% of the order to do that. Ummmm, what?? And this was not a catering order, either (I double-checked). So, I decided to try GrubHub and Seamless. I tried to place an order for the 3-course meal and it said there was an error. I tried on different accounts and different computers, but it kept getting an error for that meal. So, finally, I tried Doordash. Everything went through just fine and I headed to the restaurant. I arrived and they said my order was cancelled. Um, what? I never got anything from Doordash about that. I called Doordash and they never got word of that, either, but on Mimi's end it said it was "denied" or "cancelled." There is NOTHING wrong with my card and I am not a delinquent. The manager there was also very rude about it and not at all apologetic, just blaming Doordash for everything. I just told the guy on Doordash to refund the money (apparently it went through on Doordash's end, but not on Mimi's end... so obviously something is wrong with THEIR system). I will never return to this location again. They can keep their food and their bad attitude.
The post-COVID blues here! Food is definitely not fresh and the place has become dirty. The pink bathroom doors have a brown layer of grime! Service was good, but the food was very bland and the music so loud you couldn’t have a conversation. In dire need of a makeover, but with the very few customers I’m not sure this place will be around much longer. The menu has become so disjointed with an odd variety trying to attract anyone. It’s like a bad version of one of those Robert Irvine rescue candidates.
I love the food but the.music is so loud it hurts my ears. By the time our waitress took our order, I had a headache. I asked if the music could be turned down but was told "corporate wants it on to create a certain atmosphere". I won't go back. Even though the food is great for the price,it's not worth the pain!
My husband and I had breakfast here, which we have done several times in the past. I ordered the French toast, it was terrible. The butter wouldn't melt and the bread was hard when I tapped it with my fork. Out of four pieces I ate one. I then ordered a bran muffin (which was one of my favorites). Wasn't worth it. We will NOT be back.
Stood at the feont area for almost 10 minutes before anyone greeted us to seat us for lunch. Many staff looked at us standing there. Ordered the trio meat skewer, the shrimp was so terrible. Smeld so bad...than flooded in Teriyaki sauce, the beef was not bad and the chicken tasted old and dry. Terrible dish. Ordered a side salad. I couldn't eat it without it falling out all over from the very tiny bowl they placed it in. The lemon water was the best part. They did kindly refund the terrible dish we ordered.
Absolutely hands down. The worst food I have EVER eaten. I'm not a picky eater and I never complain. I ordered a burger medium rare. It came out raw. My wife's chicken parmesan must have been a week old. The mini corn dogs they brought out for my daughter. I cannot even describe the foul substance that those things tasted like. The server was very nice however I still had to pay the full price for food we did not even eat, could not eat. I threw up immediately after arriving home. Do not eat there.
Firs thing anyone should know, is I have worked in the hospitality industry for many years. I came to eat with my mom and Grandma. I was excited to go to Mimi's because I hadn't been in so long (plus I used to work at the one in Dublin a long time ago), but upon entering the establishment, the manager was not very welcoming. She seemed like she had an attitude. I asked for a booth (only because my grandma prefers a booth) and I swear, it's like she was irritated that I asked, so she put us right next to the bathroom, which I noticed right away but didn't say anything. I just went with it because it's already hard enough getting my grandma from a to b. When I go to sit at the booth, I realize the booth doesn't fit me well. I just dealt with it even though it was a tight fit. I didn't notice right away but later I saw There were greasy prints on the back of the booth and the condiments were filthy looking. Doesn't look like they've been cleaned in several days. (Pics below) The service wasn't great and the food was horrible. I ordered the French Quarter Burger and when it came out, it was so sloppily put together and when I picked up the burger, the bread wasn't grilled on the underside. The server was not very attentive and it was hard to get her attention, since we were in the back, in the corner and she barely ever looked our way. I had to speak up loud which I don't want to have to do, with other patrons there. It Took very long to get refills or even mustard with my burger, because of this. I told the server about the burger it and she said she would get her manager. The manager came and asked what was wrong and I told her, and she said, "What would you like me to do?" In my mind, I just wanted her to say she would take it off, without asking me what I wanted her to do. Obviously, there is a problem with the food quality. She didn't seem to be genuinely concerned which is a concern all on its own but judging by how the rest of the place looks...you be the judge. Just...overall, a horrible experience at this location. Mimi's used to be so good. Not so much anymore. Also they don't offer bread or carrot raisin bread, included with the meal, like they used to. That was something I was really looking forward to. Now they have carrot raisin "Madeline's" you can add to your bill. Bring back the BBQ Meatloaf and garlic red skin mashed pots please !
Went to the restaurant for the first time. Breakfast burrito and and chicken and waffles. Server was not very attentive. I had two bites out of the burrito and it just tasted really bad. The chicken tasted expired so we didnt eat that either. The server never checked in until the my partner finished the waffle. They were not going finish the chicken so we had already set our plates aside. Not a place worth visiting for food.
It was ok. I think the others liked it. I know food allergies and being gluten-free must be annoying for servers. It's annoying for ones having to deal with it, too. They do not have many items GF(in fact, be sure to check their sauces and dressings!), which is ok. I was happy to hear that they had GF bread for sandwhichs. However, when I asked what kind of bread it was (my daughter has some peanut/nut allergies), the waitress said, "I'm not sure, but it's brown." If I wasn't with a group, I would've left. Thankfully, she did catch herself and went and looked at the brand (it's Udi's). I ended up getting a salad, as did my daughter. She loved her ceaser salad one. Mine was ok. If you do have allergies, though, deep dive into their menu because they may not know.
The water we were given was contaminated. Two different glasses had hair and black particals inside. We left immediately and canceled our order. When we confronted the waitress about it she said it was her fault. I will NEVER return. Incredibly filthy. I wish I took a video so I could share it with the news. DO NOT EAT HERE!!!
I went here for breakfast with my family. The hostess barely spoke and looked like she wanted to go home she had absolutely no personality. We sat down and ordered the food was not good. The eggs had a funny flavor. I had the berry crepes I took one bite and could not eat anymore it tasted off. The coffee was bitter. The only thing that was delicious was their muffins. I don’t think we will be back
I used to like this restaurant, but have been sitting here for 20 minutes now....what is going on with this place? It's not that busy.
What a total disappointment!! This place is pricey for breakfast and the food quality was terrible. We all wished we had just gone to Denny's which is easily 10x better!
Arnold Palmer tasted like Gatorade and even though they advertise all day breakfast they don’t serve poached eggs past 3 pm!?!? So no eggs Benedict so no breakfast..? Only two other tables seated and no kitchen going…America…
