Super amazing atmosphere! Owned by an AMAZING family. Everything is so clean and so incredibly delicious. They also have entertainment on certain nights & make everything FRESH with good QUALITY. Their food is made with love- from fresh mozz, to pasta tossed in a wonderful creamy cheese wheel sauce! I had the Alfredo with shrimp which was a 10/10! My boyfriend had gotten the filet special with lobster tail & it was to DIE for! Melts right in your mouth! They also have a wonderful BRICK oven pizza place right next door. Amazing pizza as well! We love a place that has great service & really makes you feel like family! This place is a MUST try & you can’t miss it!
Absolutely Perfect Holiday Party at Cordis! We recently hosted our holiday party for 50 people at Cordis, and it was nothing short of amazing! From start to finish, everything was beautifully set up and perfectly organized. The food was incredible—every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was stunning, spotless, and festive, with a great setup that included a DJ and a gorgeous flower bar that everyone loved. The staff were beyond impressive—so friendly, professional, and attentive. The waiters were on top of everything the entire evening, making sure our guests had everything they needed without ever having to ask. A special shout-out to Niki and her husband, the wonderful owners, who went above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect. You can really tell how much they care about their guests and their restaurant. Thank you, Cordis, for giving us a night to remember! We can’t wait to come back and celebrate with you again. Love, Ocean Heart Group Team ❤️
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Outstanding! Cordi Italian is hands down one of the best Italian restaurants I’ve been to in New Jersey. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the warmth, care, and authenticity that so many places try to imitate but rarely deliver. The food is incredible — rich, flavorful, perfectly seasoned, and clearly made with top-quality ingredients. Every dish tasted like it was crafted with pride. The pasta was fresh and cooked beautifully, the sauces were layered with flavor, and the entrées were the kind you dream about long after the meal is over. Service was just as impressive. The staff is attentive, friendly, and genuinely invested in making sure you have a great dining experience. They check in without hovering, make great recommendations, and treat you like a welcome guest — not just another table. The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and ideal for everything from date nights to family dinners. It’s the kind of place you can’t wait to return to. If you’re looking for exceptional Italian food with top-tier service, Cordi Italian is a must. Easily a 5-star experience. Highly recommended! 🍝🇮🇹
Dominic Cordi who is the owner greeted my family and I at the door and was kind. He advised us of all there great options of dishes the restaurant has available. We went with a delicious pizza pie for lunch that we enjoyed. AL who made and serve our pizza pie was great. He was very kind and generous. My kids including my wife and I enjoyed the restaurants environment. We will definitely be back. Thank you for showing class and professionalism Dominic and AL, The food and service was A1.
Amazing dinner! Fettuccine Alfredo was 10/10. Garlic bread was delicious! Service was excellent. They have a cute Photo Booth in the entrance. My family and I visited for my birthday, since it was a big group, they put us in a private room which was very nice!
Wow what an amazing meal. Food and service (by Michelle) top notch felt right at home from the second I walked in. Highly recommend, in town for work but would even drive here from BOSTON to eat
We were treated to such a fantastic dinner at Cordis this weekend while visiting NJ. We were welcomed like family by Dominic, Nicki, and Joe. I cannot say enough the talent and professional dishes that Executive Chef Dominic put together. The antipasto platter to the pizza to the fried calamari to the veal Milanese. The food was beyond delicious with attention to detail and flavor. I would say it deserves a Michelin rating. It was also an absolute joy to meet him. I was very impressed with his food as we come from an authentic Italian family. The ambiance of the restaurant is gorgeous with beautiful detail everywhere. They went the extra mile to celebrate my two kids birthdays and make them feel special with singing and a cake. We were treated with the utmost respect by the owners and servers. If you want a night out with high class and amazing food, Cordi's is your place. We will be back again and cannot thank everyone for your amazing hospitality.
This restaurant is 12/10, amazing from the food to the atmosphere. The staff is very nice, professional and knowledgeable. We had two people with food allergies and the waitress was careful with taking the order/making sure no cross contamination. The live music is a great touch. I’m never disappointed by the food, I wish I lived closer so I could go more often!
The food was absolutely delicious! One of the best steaks I’ve ever had! The staff goes above and beyond to make sure you have a great experience. The owner is a genuinely nice man who comes around to check on all of the tables and introduce himself. It’s byob and we forgot our wine at home, but we were offered a glass of wine on the house. Then the check comes and I see that next to my espresso (which also comes with a small glass of sambuca) says “no charge”. Such a great dining experience. Cordi’s is easily our new favorite restaurant.
Atmosphere, family feel, outstanding service and the food was so good!!! I attended a ribbon cutting with the Brick Chamber of Commerce and expected to take a few pictures and congratulate the Cordi family. They invited everyone to come sit down to eat. We were served salad , mussels, pizza. Delicious. We were impressed and grateful and thought we were done. Then, came the cavetelli with sauce and ricotta. Creamy, delicate cavetelli. Then the impressively thin chicken cutlets. Oh my!!! And finally tartufo. Dominick was to e best host. Kind, caring. Thank you for your generosity, for sharing your day, your ribbon cutting with us. We’ll ALL be back many times.
Superb service! Outstanding quality meals! Food just slipped though my mouth... It's soothing atmosphere. I absolutely love this fine establishment! I love highly recommending it and reserve your table! Look no further because there's none close to it's personal quality of service, food & enjoyment! Will be back soon!!!
I would love to thank my wife for picking this Restaurant, cordi's on her birthday, We hard the best time of our life in every way, every restaurant I have ever been. This is the greatest, the best, the most welcoming.
I’ve been to this place a few times and they have never disappointed! The owners are great; Dom made sure we felt seen and enjoyed our night. Each worker is willing to help any table and never keep you waiting. The food was amazing and fresh, too. So good!
Excellent all around! Drove an hour & 30 mins. The food & service didn't disappoint.
This is definitely the best Italian restaurant I’ve been to! Everything that came out was sooo tasty and yummy and plated beautifully. I also love the family aspect of the business. They really treat you like family here. Everyone is so nice and caring and it’s a bunch of family members working together and living out their passion. And you can really tell!
The BEST Fettuccine Alfredo!!!! They prepare the Fettuccine inside a giant wheel of cheese. Owners Dominic & Nicki made us feel like family on our very first visit.
We decided on an early Italian dinner tonight but didn't have a reservation. We heard Cordi's was excellent so we stopped by very early to try and get a table. They were not yet open but told us they could take us when they opened and suggested we go get wine (BYOB) and come back when they open in 30 minutes. Perfect! We went up the street to Wine World (great selection) and got a bottle of Florentia Chianti Classico which was perfect for dinner. From the start the service at Cordi's was excellent with the entire staff/family stopping by to ensure we had everything. We started by sharing an organic mesclun salad and ordered eggplant rollatini appetizer. Both were excellent. The owner also brought us a plate of tomatos and mozzarella which was an extra treat. Getting quite full but happy before dinner. For dinner my wife ordered a special of stuffed calamari (Stuffed with shrimp and crab) that also came with a side of pasta. I ordered veal marsala with pasta. Both dinners were excellent, meats tender and sauce tasty without too much salt. However, we wete overnatched and only finished half of our dinners to save room for dessert. For dessert we split a cup of pistachio Gelato and each had cappuccinos. Never wasting good food the 2nd half of our dinner was wrapped for lunch tomorrow. Overall an excellent dinner with both food and service top notch. Definitely recommend. Also we'll be back again soon so I can try out one of their steaks.
Had to go back a second time because everyone loved the food. Tried the fettuccine alfredo this time. All 4 of us thought it was the best we ever had.
Cordi’s has always been well known for fine Italian cuisine and service. The only issue ever discussed was that the place was small and it felt a little tight. Well the new location solved that problem and did it in a BIG beautiful way!! The new restaurant is absolutely gorgeous! Large open spacious dining room decorated very tastefully and has a warm welcoming feel. The food as always was off the chart as well as service as they treat you like familia. “Un successo Molto continuo” 👍🙏🇮🇹🍷
We experienced our own Hallmark Christmas miracle at this restaurant. My husband and I came upon this restaurant one chilly night and simply asked if they had a table. We didn’t know reservations were required or that the reason the place was packed was because of how incredibly good the food is here! Everything is fresh from the butchered cuts of meat, raw fish, to the homemade pastas and sauces created by the host’s son - a trained and very comptent chef also named Dominick (sp?). Before we knew it, what was going to be a slice of pizza turned into one of the most memorable nights of our lives! We were set up on the pizza / take out side with full service by the chef’s father Dominick (SR), Afio, the oven brick pizza guru and his brother Frank (who happens to specialize in jewelry). These three wise men were the kindest and most generous individuals my husband and I have ever met! They treated us as if we were family and shared stories of Italy and of their amazing lives. Dominick SR. took such care of us and opened a new bottle of an Italian red I hadn’t experienced before. It’s the only picture I can share with you today. It was so smooth and perfect for the occasion that we finished the bottle! (Don’t worry, we called our adult kids to pick up us that night.) These 3 wise men took the time to explain the menu and how the food was prepared. Dominick’s passion and love for his son came through with every explanation of each dish. Their smiles and warm hearts was what made me tear up that evening and when I saw Don Sr wipe away the crumbs on the table. It was such a humble service that my tears just flowed. I blamed my happy tears on the shrimp appetizer. More about the shrimp later. We decided to order the penne alla vodka and the chicken Marsala. My dish (penne) was sprinkled with some Parmesan and red pepper. It was the creamiest, most tender and flavorful dish that I’ve ever had. But before we got to enjoy our dinners we were tempted with garlic bread! Displayed like a dessert with an edible purple flowers on top, drenched in garlic and olive oil, baked in a 100 year old oven that crisps the bottom to a black flavorful crust that melts in your mouth! People travel hours away just to order the bread! The shrimp appetizers were scrumptious. One was a fire crackled pepper and the other a (I believe Dom Sr. said) “saltimbocca cream” that he invented himself and insisted we try. He wasn’t wrong! Order it!! I will come back to this establishment if only to feel like I am home. What turned out to be a day at work with an unappreciated end of year review, turned out to be the most magical night of our lives and sparked something inside of me that I will cherish for as long as I live. I still get choked up about this experience. Thank you to these 3 wise men from the bottom of our hearts.🥲😍😍😍
This was our first time here it is a beautiful place, the food was excellent the staff was so friendly especially our server Michelle she was fantastic. We will definitely be back!!
Dominic and the entire crew are a class act. Welcoming atmosphere, fantastic service, and delicious food. 10/10, get the chicken parm and the flounder Francese!
To say its amazing is an understatement... Dont expect the prices to be cheap, but do expect the food to be amazing! I feel the food is worth every penny... We will be back!
Dominic and Nicki treated us like a King and a Queen.. our Server Joclyn was top shelf..Highly Recommend this Place 5 Star all the way!
First time for my wife and I We believe we hit a Gem Food was excellent Everyone who works there are polite, friendly and knowledgeable about the food We Met the Owners Dominick and Joe. We discussed ordering catering for Christmas Eve We will Most Definitely be back soon
The food was absolutely delicious! My husband and I went for our anniversary and everything was perfect. Our server was the best and the owner was very nice as well. Will definitely be back!
The Food was amazing-homemade authentic Italian, the Service was outstanding, but the highlight of the night was the warm welcome and family style atmosphere. Just like our Italian Sunday dinners! Do not miss this dining experience!!
Celebrated our birthdays tonight kid-free & truly enjoyed our experience. Not our first time visit but first time finally leaving an overdue & well deserved review. The staff & owners are friendly, attentive & treat every table like they are the only ones in the room! Beyond generous owners that have made us feel like family since our first visit. We especially love to bring the kids in for pizza Fridays in the pizzeria. We truly enjoyed our date night tonight celebrating our birthdays along with the amazing food (homemade Caesar salad & fettuccine Alfredo made in the cheese pasta wheel were phenomenal!). Highly recommend!
1st time going to this restaurant my husband and myself met the owner and he made us feel like family the atmosphere was great and the service was excellent. The food was delish!!!!!! We found our new fav place!!!!
We finally got a reservation after trying for several weekends (we’re too last minute and this place is booked up!!) The food, service, and atmosphere were nothing short of amazing! Our waiter was so sweet! The restaurant was new and so clean! The owner was walking around and making everyone feel like family. The chicken dish with the figs was SO good - I could drink the sauce! Just a head’s up that it’s BYOB! It’s the best Italian we’ve found in Brick! We will 100% be back!!!
First time coming to Cordi’s. I saw Dominick on Facebook and I was so impressed with him and the demonstration he did with the fettuccine Alfredo and the Caesar salad.. We went in didn’t bring any wine and our Waitress was wonderful enough to give us each a glass of wine. That was so thoughtful of her then the food came Absolutely delicious. The fettuccine Alfredo was the best I’ve ever tasted. The Caesar salad was delightful. Dominic comes around to talk to us and see how we’re liking the food. overall I was so impressed with this place. If I could give it an twelve, I would unfortunately we could only give it a five fantastic experience. Can’t wait to bring my fiancé there for a meal. He would love it
We arrived about 5:30 on a Tuesday night thinking there would be no problem getting a table, without a reservation. We were wrong, there was an event later that evening. But, if we could be done by 6:45, they would break up a table of 10 and seat us. Since it was just my husband and me, that was doable. The staff is professional and friendly. Our meals were delicious. This was a very pleasant dining experience and we will definitely return.
It was my first time there with a friend tonight. The pasta was delicious, as was the veal marsala. The staff was great also, will be back.
My siblings and I went there last night for the first time to celebrate my birthday. What a GREAT place! Food was not only delicious but abundant. The owners both stopped at our table with great stories about where they grew up which happened to be the same place where we also grew up. We loved the live, but not overpowering music. Such a great atmosphere. We will definitely be back! Thank You Lisa, Judi, and Jerry
Went to Cordi’s last night for the first time. The food, service and ambience did not disappoint. Dominic (owner) checked in on each table to ensure that everyone was enjoying their experience. I have been to many high-end Italian restaurants in New Jersey and Cordi’s is definitely among the best. Somewhat pricey but so are all the other high-end restaurants in the state. Well worth a visit.
Just went here tonight for the first time and it was the chef’s kiss!! I had the penne vodka and it was ridicously delicious. Not to sound dramatic, but I think it might have been the best vodka sauce I’ve ever had. My husband had filet mignon and my dad had the orchiette and they finished EVERY Last bite. Food aside, our waitress was just lovely and so was the warm beautiful atmosphere. We will be back soon!
We had our work Christmas dinner here and it did not disappoint! The food was out of this world! We all were raving about our choices! We will definitely be back!! The stuffed pork chop was the best pork chop we ever had! Service was top-notch! Give this place a try. Only downside was difficulty parking.
Went to Cordi's last night for the first time and can't wait to go back. The owner was very welcoming and our server was great. Everything we had was delicious. We shared the fettuccine alfredo for an appetizer and it was the best I ever had. The margarita pie was delicious too. Three of us had a fish special that was prepared to perfection and the veal franchise was also delicious. Espresso coffee and pistachio gelato and lava cake were amazing. The meal paired perfectly with our homemade wine. Love this place.
By far the best meal I’ve had in the county and very memorable. It’s north Jersey quality and ingredients that you won’t find here anywhere else. Everything we ordered was perfect and service was excellent. So glad it’s local.
The food from Cordi’s is absolutely amazing! Every dish I’ve tried has been bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. You can truly taste the quality and care that go into every meal. From the appetizers to the entrées, everything is top-notch — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Their margarita pizza is the best around! The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the staff always make you feel right at home. It’s the perfect spot for a relaxing night out, whether you’re with friends, family, or on a date. And the best part? It’s BYOB, so you can bring your favorite bottle of wine to enjoy with your meal. Cordi’s is a true hidden gem that deserves all the recognition — once you dine here, you’ll definitely want to come back again and again!
Michelle was our waitress and we Loved her! Her personality was so nice and personable. This is the second visit. Our waitress the first time was Lisa who we loved and she made us feel so welcomed we needed to come back again! The food is phenomenal itd the second time I ordered the stuffed pork chop. To die for ❤️❤️
This restaurant is BYOB. BYOB has been a surprise for a traveler not from New Jersey. Seems more common than not from our short experience with the restaurants across the state. The fresh to order food, experience, and staff more than made up for this. The dinning experience was first class. I would recommend to anyone in the area or passing through. Make best attempt to make a reservation. We had a party of four and walked up after an event. The family was more than accommodating to get us in. Dinning floor was full.
This little gem is a great find. Delicious authentic Italian cuisine! Service (Michelle) was great. The brick oven pizza next door is also very good. We will be back soon again.
We went to Cordi's for our Anniversary and loved everything about the restaurant. The food was delicious and the waitress was excellent. Dominic and NickiAnn are friendly and engaging and make you feel at home. It was a lovely evening in every way. As soon as you enter the restaurant, you feel the welcoming staff and know it is going to be a good night!!
Had the pleasure of having dinner with friends at Cordi's the other night. Great ambiance and delicious food. The restaurant owners and the entire staff were very warm and welcoming. There was entertainment, a really good singer doing Sinatra and others...it was a very enjoyable evening!
We love Cordi’s Restaurant. Their new location is elegant and comfortable. Our server Michelle was pleasant, yet professional, gracious, friendly and the food was delicious. The whole staff was actually friendly, all smiling and polite. Highly recommend!
Thank you Dominic Micky and the great staff at Cordi's. My wife's party was wonderful and everyone raved about the food. The absolute best place to host your party or just dinner Happy Holidays
This restaurant is an absolute hidden treasure....it is as good or better than any of the five star restaurants I've eaten in from Manhattan to Key West. From the moment you step in the restaurant you feel that warm family style atmosphere and beautiful decor. The staff were kind, respectful and very attentive to our needs. The menu was fairly extensive and had something for everyone. We sat down and had delicious fresh made bread with dipping olive oil and the owner sent over a small personal pizza to try. I would have been good with the pizza alone....that's how good it was. Then we ordered the Caesars salad which was made at a station in front of us with all fresh ingredients....off the charts. (The homemade garlic bread croutons were awesome) We also ordered fried Calamari...which was super fresh and tender...like it's supposed to be. Definitely in the top three I've ever eaten. The waitress brought us Scungilli in sweet marinara sauce..... Excellent. Included with our meal was the Fettuccine Alfredo...which was also made at a station in front of us. The cook was excellent....fresh cheese cooked to perfection. We were sent over their homemade Fusilli in San Marzano sauce which again was on point. By now I was just about stuffed....then came the Valentine's special....Surf and Turf for two. The NY strip steak was unbelievable....cooked perfectly and the lobster tail was tender and sweet. The special came with a side of sauteed vegetables....which were delicious as well. Finally.... desert....We had fresh cannoli and cappuccino which was also included with the special and was delightful. The owner came by multiple times during dinner to make sure we were well taken care of.....which we were. The entire night was as perfect as I could have asked for. Not one issue with anything....which is a rare occurrence today. I can't urge you enough to try this place....if you want authentic Italian food (not wannabe Italian food) cooked to perfection until you are stuffed and treated like a family member....this is the place to go. I'm already looking to make another reservation. Sorry for the long review....but I had to put everything in here to accurately describe our experience. Enjoy..... you'll thank me.
It's my husband's birthday and I wanted to treat him to a good Italian restaurant. This place was highly recommended and the reviews were great. I had high hopes but we were disappointed. The server was great. She accommodated all our requests and even gave my husband a cheesecake with candles on it and sang the birthday song. The owner came out and visited every table but ours and when he did, it was only to move our table to give space to the table next to us. The said table complained that our table was too close and didn't like my husband looking at their table. One guy even asked my husband," Can I help you?". The owner gave us a complementary pie but that was unnecessary. To make matters worse, we got sick from the food we ate. I was not impressed with the food. I was looking forward to the fettuccine Alfredo made in a cheese wheel but the version in the menu with panchetta was not available and instead they have chicken or shrimp. The ambience was not for us. It was too small and crowded and the regulars were snooty and uppity. I was also disappointed that some of the guests were wearing shorts and sandals on the 'upscale' restaurant.
My wife and I went there last week and I regret not saying anything at the time. I don’t write bad reviews and put this one off but I felt completely DUPED by all of the great reviews. 1. My water glass was dirty and both of our menus were also dirty to the point we didn’t want to touch them. (Not the end of the world but gross). 2. My chicken parm was fine, cheese was good but the chicken was small and clearly frozen prior; my local pizza place is better and cheaper. 3. My wife ordered the Penne Vodka and it was $34….MORE expensive than my chicken parm. Not only was it not Penne (it was ziti…), but it tasted like a mixture of Kraft mac and cheese powder mixed with milk. It tasted NOTHING like vodka sauce or anything else that I had ever eaten. It was also supposed to have pancetta but we found literally 3 specs. We were honestly shocked and a bit angry after reading all of the wonderful reviews calling it “The best Italian food in New Jersey”. It’s clear that the owner has a lot of friends and family that write nice reviews that aren’t truthful. Staff was friendly but the food was extraordinarily over priced and just not good. I hope it can be chalked up to a bad day in the kitchen but I’m not so sure. Hopefully they change some things…
