Amazing experience at Antoya Korean BBQ! From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted by the entire staff. The service was excellent, super friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. The meat selection was top-notch, and I tried one of their beers which was really good, even better during their happy hour (Sunday to Thursday, 4–6 PM). They accidentally forgot one of the plates we ordered, but quickly brought it out after 10 minutes and comped it as a kind gesture, really appreciated that level of service. It was my birthday, and the waitress surprised me with some celebratory shots and took the time to explain everything on the table thoroughly. I’ll definitely be coming back with more friends. Highly recommend!
It was cool! people were very very nice, and it was definitely leafy! felt fancy as heck when you walk in lol
Had a really great dinner here on Saturday. Our server (tall guy, possibly Korean(?) I don’t know his name) was so kind and professional. He cooked the meat perfectly, was attentive without being overbearing and made sure we were comfortable the whole time. He even brought us extra banchan and a yogurt at the end, which was such a thoughtful touch. Everything we tried was delicious, and the quality of the meat was excellent. We’ll definitely be back!
🥘: 8/10. We love this Korean barbecue spot! Me and my friends family went there for a nice dinner and it was truly a treat. We order a beef platter, chicken wings, kimchi soup, fried dumpling and refilled a lot of side dishes! The beef were all very fresh, nicely grilled by our server, and flavorful! I really enjoyed their fried chicken wings as well, it is bombed with garlicky flavors and just purely delightful! 🧑🏻🍳: 8/10: I love that our server came over and grilled the meat for us! The waitress that served as was very kind, very attentive and very detailed oriented! 📍: 9/10: This place is right in the heart of K-Town NYC! I love the ambience, black and white, modern and classic! The seating we're all very comfortable, we don't feel cramped, and we didn't feel the rush to finish eating and leave.
Hands down one of the best Korean BBQ spots in Midtown, Manhattan. We ordered their Beef Platter for dinner and it did not disappoint — the meat was tender, flavorful, and paired nicely with the generous selection of sides. One of their staff kindly offered to handle the grilling for us, which was a great touch and elevated the service experience. They were also very attentive in refilling side dishes, especially the potato salad and tofu with sesame sauce — both really tasty and fresh. The place itself has a great ambience, and we were pleasantly surprised to discover that it spans three floors of dining space, including private rooms for small groups, which is perfect for gatherings. Overall, a fantastic dining experience — great food, thoughtful service, and a lovely setting. We’ll definitely be coming back!
I tried the lunch set at Antoya and went straight for the uni with crab meat over rice, and it was honestly the highlight of my day. The uni was super fresh—creamy, sweet, and not fishy at all—and the crab meat added a light, natural sweetness that made every bite feel luxurious without being heavy. The seasoning was subtle in a good way, letting the seafood really shine. The portion was just right for lunch, and the side dishes rounded everything out nicely. For a BBQ restaurant, their lunch menu is surprisingly refined. It’s the kind of dish you’d expect at a seafood spot, not a K-BBQ place, so it felt like a really pleasant surprise. I would definitely come back for this set again.
I’ve been to Antoya Korean BBQ four times now, and every single visit has been incredible — largely thanks to Daniel (aka Dan). I’ve been lucky enough to have him as my server each time, and he is truly a standout. His energy is just beautiful. He’s warm, attentive, and makes you feel genuinely taken care of. His recommendations always hit — from the wine pairings to what to order off the menu. He knows exactly what will make your meal perfect. The food is amazing on its own, but Daniel elevates the entire experience. If you’re coming to Antoya, ask for Daniel (Dan). He’s dope, and he deserves all the praise. One of the best servers I’ve ever had. Highly recommend!
Everything from the staff, the bartender, servers, food, vibes everything was so on point and great!! Shout out to Tony and Lobby our server for being SO unbelievably kind, welcoming and attentive our entire meal. They truly made our experience that much more memorable. We came for a birthday dinner tonight and the food was insanely delicious! The portion sizes are great, the food is awesome, drinks are good, and they were even kind to bring out a beautiful cake for my mom’s birthday. One of the better Korean bbq restaurants I’ve ever been too and I will certainly go back. Thank you so very much again for an amazing experience~ meal we left so happy and full!
Absolutely love this Korean BBQ spot! The meat is always fresh and perfectly marinated — it’s delicious every time I come. The side dishes are clean, fresh, and taste just like homemade. The staff are super friendly and attentive, and the whole experience always feels satisfying. Definitely one of my go-to places!
I don’t usually write reviews, but my experience at Antoya was so great that I had to leave one. Everything from the basic side dishes to the meat, the sae woo jang dup bap with uni, was phenomenal. The staff was attentive and pleasant. I wish I had taken more photos, but I guess I was too busy devouring everything lol. Highly recommended.
Antoya in Koreatown Manhattan is a Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurant celebrated for its wide range of Korean dishes and inviting atmosphere. The spacious, clean, and beautifully designed interior is filled with the mouthwatering aroma of BBQ, setting the stage for an authentic dining experience. Choose from a variety of impressive Lunch Sets that does not break the bank! Excellent value. Their professional and friendly staffs handle the tabletop grilling, carefully cutting meats into bite-sized pieces for guests to enjoy with ease. Beyond its expertly prepared BBQ, Antoya is also known for offering one of the best raw marinated crabs. Plump, fresh, and bursting with sweet, juicy flavor. Paired with a variety of drinks, you will continue to eat eat eat.
Actually great! To start off, the server gave us a free drink because we engaged in conversation with them and told them we came all the way from floptropica. I will say that was so kind of them! The food was good, the cold green tea noodles were good and refereshing to have alongside the pork adn the lettuce. The black sesame tofu thing was also so good and i will definitely remake it at my abode.
This restaurant is amazing! The ambiance is great, and they have a wonderful ventilation system, so you won’t leave smelling like meat. The staff cook the meat for you, although you can also cook it yourself. The side dishes are AYCE, so they will continue to refill them for you. The food was fantastic. My only complaint is I wish they offered a platter that has a mix of beef and pork rather than having to choose all beef or all pork. Staff were kind and attentive. There are many options for Korean bbq in this area, but I highly recommend coming here. We left feeling very impressed and satisfied, and the price wasn’t bad at all given the amount and quality of food you receive.

Tried the uni & fish roe rice bowl at this Korean restaurant today — overall, the food was really good. The uni was fresh and creamy, the roe added great texture, and the bowl itself was beautifully presented. Most of the side dishes were tasty too, so from a food perspective, I was satisfied. However, there were a couple of disappointing details. First, one of the soups that came was already cold, which took away from the experience a bit. More importantly, the service from one female server was extremely poor. When she cleared the table, she handled the plates so roughly that soup splashed onto my clothes — and she didn’t apologize at all. She just threw a few wet wipes on my table. Later, when I asked for a takeout box, she dropped the lid on the floor and seemed completely spaced out the whole time. Very careless and unprofessional. To be fair, the rest of the staff were friendly and attentive — it was just this one person who seriously dragged the experience down.
Antoya Korean BBQ in NYC is easily one of the best spots in the city to satisfy any Korean BBQ craving. The menu has something for everyone with delicious options from premium Korean BBQ cuts grilled to perfection right at your table to comforting classic Korean soups and stews, savory pancakes, noodles, and plenty of shareable appetizers. Everything we ordered was delicious and so satisfying, especially if you’re craving authentic Korean BBQ. The vibe is laid back and modern, with gorgeous flower archways and photo friendly backdrops that make the whole experience feel extra fun and celebratory; perfect for a night out with friends or family. The service can be a bit slow at times, so there’s definitely room for improvement, but the overall experience still makes it a spot worth visiting.
Great food and service in a cozy environment! I had the steak, BBQ chicken, and a speciality drink. The side dishes that come with every order also taste great.

I'm not impressed and I'll not go into details too much. The meat quality is good, it was tender, but for $149 beef platter I think you should get more meet. Side dishes are either bland or seasoned too much fir my taste, and weird (not funky): fish cake, pickled radishes, onion salad, soft tofu...Our ribeye was VERY thin, flat iron steak, seasoned cubed short ribs and short rib. I love that a girl came over and grilled the meat for us, but service was inconsistent. Booths are very sturdy and uncomfortable. There are much better places if you want to try Korean BBQ.

Was there at 18:45 of new year eve 2025, came back after a amazing lunch three days ago, so gave it a shot for the dinner but was totally shocked by the service and food. The server was very rude (the female server) we ordered one sho jiu , two appetizers and a BBQ meat combo. She didn’t ask if we prefer to have appetizers first or not, she just brought the main course which is the BBQ meat and started cooking. We told her we wanted the steak medium , she start by putting three thinly sliced boneless ribs and a 1/2 inch steak on the grill at the same time and walked away, those boneless ribs were overcooked because they are thinly sliced, then she came back when I noticed the ribs are overcooked at one side and I started flipping it myself . Then it came to a part which shock me , she took over after I flip one piece of the ribs and she flips over the other two piece and use scissors to cut all three ribs right the way and then put took it out the grill and put in the serving plate , so basically the other side of ribs had only been cooked for 1-3 seconds, which is not enough to kill the germs on the surface, I had to put them back on the grill myself to avoid a food poisoning on new year eve .this is totally ridiculous . I still left a 18% tips because another male server who came to help was good . I don’t think I will ever go back to this restaurant. Btw, they charge additional 4.5% fees on your total if you pay by credit cards.
