Avaliações de Bar 180 Broadway
I came because a friend recommended it. Loved the burgers and the empanadas!! Personnel was very kind.
It's lovely and tasty with good music all day long happy people....I love the place ❤
Great clean place, very friendly and professional customer service 👌. Great delicious menu and excellent drinks 🍸
Really nice bar very clean the staff is friendly love how they have so many beer selction
Friendly staff, Food comes out quick, great beer selection and frozen margaritas. 3 big TVs to watch the game!
Love the music, really nice place and the mac n cheese and grilled chicken I had was amzing
Awesome bar with a big selection of draft beers. Happy hour specials and terrific customer service. Ask for bartender OMAR and rest assure that he will make your time at the bar as relaxing as possible. Also BAR180 is one block from GW bus station so the New Jersey residents (like me) to get home safely
The beer selection 👌 love it.. but I don't think bartenders know how distinctive it is .. they need more knowledge in hops and essence education.. still give 5 love the place and there service
I come here like 3 times out the week and the service is so good but I can't forget about the food because its amazing. Its kids friendly which is a plus. Thank you for making my experience so good.
Best neighborhood bar, fun staff, big screens, willing to play Astros games when I ask. Good beer selection, their house wheat is delish and good luck. Also great food that improves and has new stuff every time I go (which is way too often!) You see an Astros fan in there, say hi!
A nice place to come to for drinks. Music is kind of loud so if you want to have a conversation you can sit outside. However, in general great drinks and vibe.
I love this bar. Beautiful atmosphere, good music, very polite servers. I haven't eaten the food yet but the next time I will order their burger and fries
Love this place. A local spot we all have waited for in Washington Heights. After work grab a drink with the speakeasy, diverse location. They are going to put food on the menu in another week. Yass!
Great selection of beers. Really friendly staff. Great addition to the neighborhood - retains the local culture and vibes while bringing something fresh and exciting.
Great place.. Very friendly staff excellent customer service. My bartender was very attentive and always had a 😃. Her name is LILY. Peace Francis
One of the best happy hour spots, great happy hour prices and great prices on food. Me and my friends will return again! Keep up the economical prices with great hospitality.
Came here with my girlfriend and had the amazing rib tips!! Mmmmmm delicious!! The bartender made great margaritas too!! Will absolutely be back!!
Great place for a date or just to meet up with some friends. Drinks are good, service is good, food is great and big sharable portions.
Nice bar in the area. Not a ton of room but didn't feel overcrowded. Yucca fries were delicious and a good selection of Whiskey and draft Beers. Noise level was a bit loud.
One of my favorite new spots in Washington Heights. All of the bartenders are super friendly and there's always a great $5 beer special, in addition to the usual happy hour. They now serve food! If you're in the neighborhood, stop by!
This has been the surprising star of the fourth quarter in 2017. The place is just a gem. It's strategically located right near the bus station and a whole lot of development. When other bars are suffering from low attendance people keep on flocking to this place. Part of it is the drinks, part of it is the food which is innovative but not extraordinary. It's just a very cool environment. The manager keeps the programming up-to-date and entertaining. There's a very mixed crowd in every sense of the word. In short it's just a good experience. Oh and there are no surprises cuz you can look straight into the place and see whether it's happening or not and it always seems to be Poppin!
A great spot for a casual hangout. Food and drinks are always great. I had the grilled garlic parmesan wings which were delicious. Also Friday nights they have a live DJ which makes for a fun ambiance.
Very nice staff and management, laid back feel good aura. Although somewhat gentrified, it fits right in with the community with delicious dishes and crafty beers. Well recommended!
What a gem! Perfect burger! Perfect fries! Asahi from the tap on happy hour special; happy hour beer special changes every month. Raissa was super pleasant and personable. Can’t wait to come back with wife for lunch.
As much as the Dominicans drink which is the main ethnicity in Washington heights it is surprising that only one true bar resides in this neighborhood but then living and getting to know the community I have come to notice that many of them get together and turn any location into a drinking pub, be it a barbershop a Bodega or even the front porch of a building. Lol one the bar it is the standard of what a drinking facikityshoikd be with tvs all around a much smaller outdoor area but a nice winter cabin new age look to it and that's the perfect setting for the season. If in this area this is the bar to go to you'll thank after. Shutout to my Dominicans
The atmosphere is great in this place. The staff is always moving they know when your drink is finishing before you do. The food is very good as well. For me the fries take the cake. Crazy good.
Good food, Good beer. Had an exhausting day travelling to NYC, stood in line for 2.5 hours at customs. This place did me right, and sent me off with a good feeling. Nice list of different beers, normal prices, and food is good (had the Cuban sandwich). If you like your fries well done and with skin on like i do, come here. Good stuff all around. Go suns.
Bar 180 has the most delicious food. I love this place.
I Was gonna be waiting for a bus home at GWB with my girl that wasn’t gona be there till late, so I came here with my girl for some hookah. Spot was the perfect place to kill time with very sweet hookah and deliciously crisp IPA. I recommend the Better Half Forever Ever IPA. Staff poured our drinks for us like we were Roman Gods. Hope to comeback someday!
good sports bar vibe with a really good beer list. the service was really nice and they're on top of making sure you're satisfied with what you have and whatever you might need. i didn't love the blue raspberry frozen drink it was a bit weird in the flavor but i still thoroughly enjoyed it and got pretty sauced from it.
Great drinks, great music, great place to hang out with friends/family. Only thing was the manager assumed the music was bothering us. He sent out someone to ask us if we wanted the doors closed. Which makes no sense because we like the music but it was kind to ask at the same time.
Stopped by with my sister today and I don’t regret it! This place is amazing, loved it. Food was delicious, drinks are amazing, their guacamole and chips to die for! A little pricey but I loved it, 1000% better than any “fancy” looking place with some disgusting tasting food. Totally recommend y’all to stop by 😁💙
This place is great! From the service, to the music, to the vibes. Everyone is friendly, the food is great, recommend the tacos. The general manager Thomas makes it his goal to have everyone happy and comfortable. Although the entire staff is amazing, my personal favorite bartender has to be Raiza, she's always on her toes, attentive, and welcoming, with a smile that can brighten any room! Bar 180 is a must!!!
I stop here a lot to wait for the wife, always have a drink here Great place to grab one
I like this place I feel welcomed every time i go the food is great to pair with the drink of the month 😁
Awesome addition to the neighborhood. Cocktail list needs improvement seems like they are stuck in the fall but they do have a full bar.
Good beer list. Even had a few sours available. Outdoor seating on the corner in this area.
Good beer selection, cocktails, service, nachos. Nice happy hour, comfy setting.
This place is a nice place to go if you want finger food and good drinks. If your looking for red meat this is not the place for you. If your looking for a place to have a good time, good drinks and good energy this is the place. Also this is a sports bar so of course they show nothing but sports.
The bar Washington Heights needed and deserved! (Very) good beer selection for NYC let alone Uptown. Like their can selection rotates alomst as much as their taps. Beerheads recognize! Good food too! Check it out!
Usually great beers & usually no Mets games =(
Small cool chill corner spot right in da heights. Tv's / music / good selection of craft beers plus usual liqs if beer ain't your thing. Relatively new spot so the kitchen is still a work in progress.
Happy hour starts at 1PM. $5 red sangria is a must!!The drink price is right but the appetizers need to be improved.
Perfect spot to have a few drinks either with a couple of close friends or that special someone your getting to know. Good music compliments great drinks & if your in good company, well then you've hit the tri-fecta! Enjoy....
I went to meet up which a couple of my friends, the place is not that big so I can see getting pack very easy. Parking is kind of hard the area has a lot of stores that make it hard to find. They have a good selection of beer and a good home beer which I drank all the time that I was there. I share the Bar 180 Nachos, which my friend's tortilla chips, black beans, Jalapenos, queso cheese, guacamole, pico de gallo and sour cream. The amount is pretty decent the taste was not that bad. For my may entree a had a particular burger. The Burger Washington Heights a Sausage and beef patty, quest Blanco, Dominican slaw, and yuca frita. One bad thing about this burger is that you only can get it well done because is a mix of beef sauces but the burger was pretty good and the yuca frita was on point. The staffs are pretty friendly and nice.
Very nice ambiance and good selection of liquor and beers. They also have an interesting ginger-lemon cider. However, the music can be very loud. They do have big screens showing sports, if that's your thing.
I always wanted to go there. It used to be an Irish bar. Now it's a small Spanish bat, it's nice 👍 but I just wish they would play a little more English R&B mixed music 🎶
My friends and I enjoy this bar, but the food costs too much for what it is. They did comp us a round after we waited for a very long time (while they replaced a keg), which is always appreciated. Would come back.
Excellent customer service on both my visits. However, the 2nd time I visited, service was incredibly slow. The bar was out of coffee, and other basic drinks (diet sodas) and my whiskey bizarrely was served with a lemon garnish.
Pretty good but the food is pretty expensive. McDonald's is up the next block 🤣 its best to go just for the drinks. Also I wish the heaters were on, everytime someone opens the door the cold breeze tackles you in. (Winter)
Stopped by for a swift drink, and the atmosphere and service were spot-on. The enticing food caught my eye, so I'm likely to return for a delightful meal and another drink. On Friday nights, they amp up the energy with a DJ spinning mainstream hits
Great selection of drafts brews along with a good menu. The shrimp tacos are very yummy. Excellent place to catch a game as well, huge wall TVs mean no bad seats. Also the $5 beer of the month means this place is nice to your wallet. Highly recommend.
Nice place to chill but need more staffing waited 25 minutes for my drink because they only had one bartender
Decent beers, but the service and food could both be improved and the atmosphere is that of a sports bar chain, not a neighborhood bar.
The draft beers are displayed on a TV screen whose text changes to advertisements, so you can't see all the beers at once. My server didn't know where their house beer was brewed. Also, it's really loud here. Not so much a craft beer place as a sports bar that happens to have 12 beers on tap. I'll give them another shot at some point, but my hopes are not high.
The drinks and food were fine, but the service wasn't great. It took FOREVER to get any attention and had to flag the waiters down several times just to get service. The aesthetic is very nice, but the music was also deafeningly loud and distracting from casual conversation. Probably won't be back.
I come here often with family and everything is usually good. Some inconsistencies with the food orders from time to time. Drinks are always on point though.
I had the sliders a few nights ago. They only give you three and they were quite pricey and nothing to write home about. That being said, the happy hour sangria is a great price and I really enjoyed the atmosphere.
My Girlfriend loves this spot. since we live right up the same block. She talked me into going for my birthday this past December. It was okay. It's clean and nice decor. I'm a beer guy so i tried some and found them okay as well. Only reason i'm giving this place 3 stars is that it's quite loud and the big screen tvs are blaring out random sports everywhere which i didn't care for. At night as i walk back from work the patrons spill out into the street and are ridiculously loud and quite drunk. I live on the block and find that annoying. We're giving this place another go on 4th of July weekend to see if i warm up to the place. Hope to be going when it's not a clusterfu#@! crowded scene in there.
DJ was great and atmosphere relatively nice, pretty pricey but have good deals for happy hour each day. However service was extraordinarily slow and they messed up the order both on the kitchen end and on the server end (missing items and handwritten, inaccurate receipt. We waited 1.5 hours for 8 wings!
The place has a lot of potential, but the management needs to provide better training to the staff. Horrible service. Didn't even eat they took forever for everything. They music is good tho. They also have great variety of alcohol
I've been here a few times and the staff and atmosphere is cool. The music tends to be a bit loud but they offer seating outside, which is cool. I gave 3 stars because the food and drinks needs improvement. The bartender is quite nice (personality)but his skills with making drinks- is weak. The best option on the menu seems to be their fries. The wings were not fully cooked, I asked for them to be taken back and cooked and 10 minutes later- I received the same wings dipped in sauce uncooked- maybe they were having a bad day (it happens). I will give them another try.
20% Auto-gratuity means: They do not have to try, They are not doing well, They get theirs anyway.
Not open the last couple times I've stopped here. I suggest they list hours that are accurate. Loved the menu, the one time I've eaten there.
Worst burger ever. The bun was stale and the burger dry as cardboard. My friend had their Cuban sandwich and it was good. Go figure.
Drinks and food was not good. 2nd time I go and they do not have the ingredients for the drink I asked for nor the beer. Very disappointing
Bar 180 Pros: -Cozy and Comfortable seating -Establishment was clean -Centrally located in Washington heights near all Public transport Cons: -Service was slow even though it wasn't a busy afternoon -Bartender was unfriendly and had to be reminded several times to take our order/get our bill -Drinks were overpriced considering their small size and average quality I feel Bar 180 has lots of potential, but their staff needs better Customer service and Bartending skills.
It was a very nice place with nice decor, but really bad costumer service. There are some things that this place needs to improve. The entire team needs better training. The waitress who took care of us was hanging out at work, sitting down with costumers, unattended us. Ignore the fact that my drink was made wrong. When I made her aware of the fact that my drink was wrong, she did not do anything to ease the problem. She didn’t know how to help, her face was as she did not care. She also said the kitchen was closed, but there were other people getting fresh orders at 3am. Then, another waiter; was on his phone texting. But that’s not all!! he sat on the table that I was sitting with my fiancé. Which I think was very unprofessional and disrespectful. He was there like nothing happened. So, I just think that for myself this time it was a bad experience to be honest. If I was a person conducting an inspection for the place, Bar 180 would’ve failed the inspection. If the owner of this place is looking at what I just wrote please do something for your business!!!
Cute Resturaunt, good music. Food is expensive but not worth it. Drinks were just ok nothing special. Blonde waitress and staff basically ignored us and never checked up on us. After getting the check it was $56 she returns after charging our card $82. She didn’t explain or say anything regarding the discrepancy. I had to flag down another staff member to get her attention Bc she was texting. After asking why the card was charged so much more she said Bc she forgot to add second round of drinks. I don’t mind paying but she should have mentioned it before charging the card. That’s NEVER happened to me ever at a restaurant. Bad service bad food. Don’t recommend .
I probably won't ever visit this place again. I paid $50 for 4 drinks which were terribly made, like how do you mess up a vodka martini? Almost everyone around us were eating and not one of the three bartenders offered my party a menu. The security guard is also the same person controlling the music and there were moments of dead silence in the bar because he was preoccupied with checking IDs and letting people in. It was awkward and far from a good time. My friends and I were highly disappointed.
This used to one of my favorite spots to visit pre COVID after work. I went back for the first time this past weekend and was disappointed. I had heard that the owner/manager had changed but I didn't think it would be such a drastic change. The food menu drastically changed as well as the drinks. The server gave me a red sangria, which in the past they were delicious but this one had more of a syrup taste and I wanted another drink and he said the manager wasn't in and he was alone so he did not authority to void it and get me a replacement drink. I finished it but was really disappointed.
What a decline in service! I give this place 2 stars strictly for the beer selection, which is better than most of the area. However, that is really the only good thing currently about this location. It is loud and the wait staff are not well trained in attending to customers whatsoever. When I first came here about a year ago, the service was speedy and the wings tasted great. More recently (about 3 weeks ago), it took more than 45 mins to get a small order of wings in a bar that was barely packed. The wings were hardly cooked and it looked like someone just poured sauce on them. I wouldn't be surprised if they were just microwaved. The fajita my friend ordered was absolutely horrendous, like something a 5-yr old might make their parents for their bday. Also, we had an automatic 20% gratuity added to our check despite our group being only 4 people AND they added a credit card fee after we had already provided our cards. This location needs an actual head chef, staff that have worked in a restaurant, and a bouncer to keep the homeless people out that wander in every half hour to use the bathroom.
I went here for brunch and the menu their website promotes does not exist. The food was horrible and the server did not know what he was doing. This place is a dive bar with high prices. Avoid going here.
I walked in nobody paid me no mind I sat there for 10 minutes not even a waiter came to the table horrible customer service. This was a horrible experience not even water was served and I sat there for 10 min
Great fries and beer selection but will never go to this location again. The server was pretty terrible and the overall service was slow and inept. With so many other bars nearby skip this bar!!
The service was slow and terrible I walked at 4pm I had to seat my self then find my own menu after sitting there for 10 mins looking around. When I put my drink order and food order In it took my drink 30 mins to get to me after asking 3 waiters what’s going on about my drink because no one understood what ciroc vsop and didn’t want to see what I want until the bartender herself came and took my order then my my food finally 10 mins to 5pm right before my bus had to leave so I can get home I was very annoyed and upset and if I didn’t have to wait for a bus I would’ve walked out of the establishment
THIS PLACE IS A SCAM! They are abusing the Covid-19 recovery charge. My bill was $48. They are mandated to charge no more than 10% of the bill, pre-tax. They charged more than 10% and then tax on top of that PLUS they added a 20% automatic gratuity on top of all that for a party of TWO! These people are taking advantage of the situation caused by the pandemic. DO NOT GO HERE.
It takes them a long time to receive customers and offer service, as well as to bring your order. This is something that happens in any establishment. What does not happen in Washington Heights or maybe the entire island is that they charge you $16.00 for a 1.5 Oz bottle of mezcal that costs less than $27.00 if you buy it by the box. I let the owners of the business know, thinking that it was an administrative error, but since I had already forgotten about this robbery, I returned with the luck that it was not an error and also "I think that by mistake they were charging me one more." So I asked my colleagues to leave the tip for me. Thanks anyway 🤷♂️
If you like insanely loud music and mediocre, overpriced food, then by all means--run, don't walk, to Bar 180. You won't be able to hear the person sitting across from you, and the server will struggle to hear what you're ordering: "I'd like a cheese quesadilla." "A cheesecake?" she shouted. "No, a cheese quesadilla!" I replied. If your mind is filled with horrible thoughts and you have no other means to drown them out through such tired means as mindfulness meditation or an old fashioned labotomy, the ridiculously loud music will vaporize those troublesome mind burps quicker than a 1980s hemorrhoid laser. The $12 mozzarella sticks (all five of them) were most likely microwaved Stoffer's cheese sticks. The cheese quesadilla was as basic as basic gets. And by the way, the gratuity is automatically added to the check, and even though they list different tipping percentage options to mislead you, don't be fooled. The server won't bother telling you the tip is already included in the check. Don't waste your time or your money here.
Unfortunately I had a bad experience for brunch at Bar 180. Our food took over an hour to arrive at our table, despite the place being virtually empty. The food I got was not great, though I only had the eggs Benedict and a fruit salad (yes, the fruit salad took over an hour to come). We asked for the check, but it took another half an hour to finally get the bill. They added 20% gratuity because we were a 6 person party. As a standard I tip 18-20% at all places, and yet, it was kind of disappointing to have to give 20% at this place. My review says nothing about the quality of the bar or drinks, only the brunch and the daytime service.
Use to go the bar 180 when I lived in the area. Recently, I decided to come here while in town with a friend and they took almost 45 minutes to open up the bar. We were waiting in the hot weather for them to open and they saw us, Very unprofessional.
Bar 180 has failed me 3 times, straight. 1) Walked in, tried to order a stuffed burger but there were none. I had a beer, thanked and left. Non issue. 2) Called an hour ahead of time to place an order for a stuffed burger. First time, the far end hung up. Second time, order received. When I arrived, the bartender told me they were out of stuffed burgers. She then said called me back (false), then said she didn’t have my number. She was sorry. I thanked her, walked out and hit Uptown Garrison. 3) Called an hour ahead of time. First time, bartender picked up and received the order. I asked to please check that stuffed burgers are indeed available. I was the placed on a 10 minute hold, far end never returned. I hung up and called back 15 minutes later. The bartender said she was busy and alone, and promptly handed me off to another person who gladly took my order. When I arrived, an hour and 15 minutes later, the staff could not figure who took my order. The manager kindly dropped into the kitchen and said the order had been put in 4 minutes ago because they were busy (obvious lie) and offered a drink. I declined and thanked him. After waiting two minutes, I informed the waiter, who kept asking if I needed something, to let the manager know I was leaving. Dropped into Locksmith, decent meal but great service. I can deal with bad service, it happens in the sharpest of businesses. As a business owner and employee, customer service is the engine to a successful enterprise. They’ll learn the hard way. NEXT!
The quality of this place has gone down tremendous ex. food, drinks, service, entertainment. If I'm sitting at the bar I shouldn't have to hunt down the bartender in such a small place. You have untrained staff that are none attentive to paying customers (some staff are great, but they should not be doing all of the work). TV's playing the news instead of some sports. Another display monitor displaying "No Signal" that used to display the beer menu. Unsynced quad TV displays with a lag. The food used to be better. They no longer put guac on shrimp tacos? What happened to that. Please step up the quality of this establishment because it used to be better. My friends and family used to enjoy coming to here and will like to continue, but not with the way it has been lately.
Abysmal service. Food took forever, we weren't served water until after we had finished eating, and we were charged a $3 credit card fee after we had paid and weren't warned ahead of time. They were even kind enough to automatically add 20% gratuity to our bill.
Came in yesterday for the first time to have a few drinks for a coworker’s birthday. Was excited to go somewhere other than our usual bars. Unfortunately, this is not a welcoming place at all. We were immediately greeted with a face of confusion. We were told they weren’t able to seat a large party. They offered little to no suggestions on how to accommodate our group. We figured it out ourselves. The staff looks to be all of 18 years old. The young girl had no answers to any questions and would put us on hold to retrieve answers from her colleague. This particular guy rolled his eyes at us numerous times throughout our stay. Seems as if he was transferring his energy over to the young girl. She immediately became very annoyed any time we placed another order. We were consistently spending large amounts of money throughout the evening and somehow still felt as if we were being shooed out. Sad to see this happen in our community. Happy birthday to her. The one star could be for the drinks themselves because I took one bite of my food and it’d been cleaned up while I was in the bathroom. Amazing.
