This place is packed with the loudest of the neighborhood locals. I've been coming here for years. You want a wholesome meal at a reasonable price, friendly service and a knowledgeable staff? Cronin's is your place! Bring that friend that talks too much won't be able to hear where they say and you'll be able to enjoy your food. Among my favorites are : fish and chips, bangers and mash (No that's not the name of a 1980s Irish punk band, actually maybe it is ...I don't really know but it's a dish ...it's delicious little Irish sausages with fresh mashed potatoes) shepherd's pie (delightful)and my favorite side is yellow turnips!! This is the place you're going to get authentic food properly cooked served to you by someone who probably has a lilt in their voice as well as their step. Can get a bit loud ...The game's going to be on the big screen TVs! You're going to have everybody -from the book club to young families to " buddies watching the game" to Mom's meeting up for a cocktail or 2.... everybody's here nobody knows your name… nobody cares what your name is... just order politely, respectfully, ...and don't forget there's a back room if you need privacy and you don't need to be in the middle of the beehive. Me? I like the buzz of the hive but not at the bar...Same owner for decades ..same wholesome food for decades and if you like strong iced coffee this is the place to go. Don't fill up on the bread basket but snatch that raisin scone (The owner makes himself with his mother's recipe) and stick it in your pocket for tomorrow's breakfast ...slather on some butter ...pour some Java and you're in heaven, baby!

My reaction to their food was simply: just wow. I prefer cooking that respects simple ingredients. I also found my dishes to be very tasty. This place offers remarkable assistance. Even with many dining options, I suggest this place.

Very very good food! Our first time here after having heard about it for forever. Good wings, but my partner's shepherd's pie (although made with beef) was the winner, perfectly spiced and delicious. My Jameson chicken was very good as well. Enormous portions and we each brought a large amount home. Best soda bread I've had outside Ireland. Very friendly attentive service. It was a little hard to hear due to all the hard reflective surfaces and music playing and cheerful people talking, but this was a great place. We'll be back, and are especially interested in the Sunday roast. Update: back for shepherd's pie and a salad - splitting everything bc the portions were huge. Great food and friendly service.

Rustic and reminiscent of the 90s, this bar doesn't miss. If you want to try Irish dishes, this place definitely is for you. The portion sizes are great and the hot toddy during the cold held its own.

I’ve had not been here for one year and it only gets better with time. I love the food service ambiance and music. I visited with family and friends Sat 1/4 and Sun 1/5. Great food. Proper pints. Bartender Dylan is great company and definitely is worth the visit. Great place for a night out or a quiet pint when you just want everyone to go away. 11/10 establishment.

Came here tonite for a private Celebrity Dinner in the party room I’ve been here many times before for different parties First time I am doing a review tho The party room in the back is very large and roomy - I never feel like I’m closed in when I come here On the menu we had a salad or soup first - I ordered the salad which was great I had a glass or red wine and also a glass of coke The waitresses here are very friendly , quick and efficient - no waiting a long time at all My main course I orders the Turkey with mashed potatoes , gravy and broccoli The food came hot and super sized portions I had a pile of sliced turkey on my plate that could feed 3 people nicely The mashed potatoes were great and so was the broccoli Later we were served coffee and plates of dessert which I chose the chocolate lava cake which was delicious Had a great time here as usual - this place is Awesome and the atmosphere is just the same - Awesome Thank you Cronin & Phelan for a super fun night !!❤️❤️

Full marks across the board, everything on the extensive menu is great with the Irish mixed grill and the salmon being my favorites. The portions are huge the servers are all terrific and in the evenings and weekends there is always a lively atmosphere. I highly recommend this place to all food lovers and double recommend it to those on a budget
