This is a favorite place, one because a friend of mine used to work there, and two because they are right on the beach. Their food is good, the atmosphere is lively, yet chill, and the staff is great. The reason I give them 4 stars is because they do not take action to be environmentally friendly. They serve dishes in styrofoam and give you plastic utensils. Come on guys, get with the program. Ditch that stuff it is NOT good for the planet.

They have seafood here, but I wouldn't call it a seafood restaurant. Seafood was all "lightly breaded". I had breaded shrimp, fries, and a small cup of coleslaw. It arrived very nice and hot. Everything tasted good, but seemed rather salty to me. My husband had a burger and fries which he enjoyed. Our waitress was very pleasant and attentive. We were there about 2pm on a January afternoon so business was rather slow. At least they're open!

The food was delicious, their burgers and fries were out of this world! The servers were really nice but with as little customers as their was it was a little disappointing that we had to call her over twice.. but it wouldn't deter me from coming back at all!! My grandma had this fish and loved it, my wife and I both had the cheeseburger plate and it was well worth it, I thought my favorite burger place was 5 hours away at home...I was wrong !

We went here on Christmas Eve, luckily it was open and had good time in here. The best part was the view, which is also shared many other restaurants on the Myrtle beach boardwalk. The drinks and food was good, especially loved the buffalo shrimp. The other seafood platter was all fried stuff and was ok. Overall good place to hangout on the beach and have fun time.

This spot has such potential but I wouldn’t go back bc I wasn’t a fan of the food. Service was good, the beach side environment is really awesome, but the food was rough. My 2 14 year olds barely ate their burger and Philly (like 4 bites each), don’t get the fish tacos, but my mom enjoyed her shrimp.

The view is great. Food was..salty. I sm not sure if it's their batter, as all the dishes were overly salty. Now.. I will admit that where I come from, boom boom shrimp is fried in a tempura style batter.. soo when I ordered it excitedly, I was disappointed when it was served. I couldn't taste anything besides the salt. The same goes with the kids' chicken fingers.. how? I do not know, never experienced salty chicken fingers. The fried pickles.. you guessed it.. the salt overpowered the dill! The clam strips, those itty bitty pieces, stood no chance against the salt. One thing that was not salty, yet tasty.. my cocktail, the boardwalk lemonade, was amazing. Was it worth it.. no.. service fee and tip auto calculated.. that was even salty.

I got the seafood platter. It came with Fried Oysters(did not specify how they were cooked), Fried Shrimp, and Fried Flat Head Flounder. The shrimp were advertised as "large" but we just barely bigger than popcorn shrimp and were overcooked. The oysters left something to be desired, personally I do not like them fried and the flounder was a bit over cooked and under seasoned. The best thing on the platter were the fries which I highly recommend. The fried calamari was too salty but the Mac and Cheese balls were pretty good. Also, what kind of seafood place doesn't have hush puppies??

We just stopped to have a drink while we walked around to see what was downtown Myrtle Beach. This place had a nice Corner location with plenty of seating inside and outside. I thought the staff was very friendly and our waitress was certainly good. So the atmosphere was great and of course the drinks were good and about the right price for this kind of location. I'm knocking down their stars because they add an automatic 18% tip which I believe is wrong, along with a credit card surcharge. Tips should only be given when the service warrants it. In our case Christine was very good so she got about a 40% tip.

This place has high food ratings but my family of 12 was not impressed. Everything they offer is pretty much fried food, which woulda been ok but the batter/ breading was entirely too salty. It took over the whole flavor of the food. The restaurant is first come first serve so no need to make a reservation, they also have plenty of seating inside, around the bar and outside they have picnic tables. The table had to trays filled with ketchup packets, but clearly when they clear off the tables they do not check these trays. Half the ketchup packets were open ones that were used and leaked all over the ones that were opened. Nasty old crusted/ sticky ketchup packets all together with the new ones. Every restaurant had an hour plus wait on Labor Day weekend so we chose this one, for 10pm bar food it was decent overall.

Alrighty, stopped by here for an early dinner on our Myrtle Beach trip. Placed looked great and fit the beach aesthetic well and has a large bar area. We looked around and only found 1 table we could actually sit at due to us having a small child needing a high chair. They don't have many high chairs and there are only a few tables where they fit. The majority of the tables are way too tall. Staff was friendly and met our needs, but the food was ok. The kids menu is lackluster. Few choices and food was generic and not great. The cheeseburger I got was not great at all. It was bland and a little over cooked. Fries were ok though.

The worse. With over a 1000 reviews this dark, dank hole in the wall takes the lowest. From the moment you walk in the cigarette smoke smell permeates from every nook and cranny. The overhead doors for windows are dirty and the tables not bussed. With a mandated 18% gratitude (signs all over the place) it leaves little in motivation for servers and it shows! Service is slow and drinks are overpriced as a smaller than a red solo cup Strawberry daiquiri cost nine dollars. Server brought us the wrong food and his drop and dash approach left no time to try and explain this to him. We ordered the Flounder-Shrimp combo and got the Seafood Platter and charged more for oysters we do not like and did not eat. The fried flounder was heavily coated and the batter sluiced off the mushy fish. The few shrimp were your standard restaurant chain shrimp and the tablespoon scoop of coleslaw was ok. They managed to fry the fries and they were crispy. For lunch we had two entrees, two drinks and a beer that cost over $70! I wish I had gone to Bubba’s Fish Shack for better service, quality and cost. For what it’s worth, this place offers little and left a bad taste in my mouth. And I’m not talking about breathing all that old cigarette smoke either.
