We love this place. Great cocktails and food. It’s also affordable! The ambiance is super art deco cool!
They have great burgers and amazing fries, also, they didnt have sprite but the lady made me this from scratch, she even took the time to decorate the lime
Bartenders with personality. Feels like home. Always a great time. Oysters chicken wings and mojitos. Doesn't get any better than that.
Nice people lovely atmosphere and best of all a pool table for very not too serious players!
Amazing bar. If you’re there make sure to get the best fried chicken sandwich in NYC. This place is electric ⚡️
Great drinks and food. Especially liked the corn salad. Mmm Bartender wasn’t super nice — maybe they wern’t having a great day. Too bad. Whatever. I understand.
Great ambiance with a fun list of cocktails! There's a good selection of rums and the mojito is fresh and crisp!
Love OTB. It’s one of the first places I become a regular in my adult life. Amazing service, delicious cocktails, and my favorite Caesar salad in the city.
Somehow the best bar in North Brooklyn I wish I'd found sooner. The decor, color palette and playlist are second to none.
Excellent food and service. The bartender was super nice and provided excellent recommendations. Highly suggested.
Great bar staff, lovely vibes, and good drinks. Highly recommend this bar.
Their food is awesome and the cocktail scene is pretty good too!
Best service! Great drinks! Delicious Oysters! AMAZING experience!
Awesome interior, friendly staff, good drinks and some nice little food options. All around solid place.
OTB = ONLY TWINK BOTTOMS 😍
This place has really good food. Consistent with eat in or delivery. Highly recommended 👌
Bar staff was friendly and the drinks were incredible! We stumbled in on a warm summer day and were greeted with a bunch of refreshing cocktail options that hit the spot. Drinks aren't cheap, but they are worth every penny!
Those bar has great cocktails, and a really laid back vibe. Comfy couches are great if you can snag one. One thing I really appreciated is their ability to make a great mocktail and not charge a ton for it.
Such a cute spot! The food was AMAZING and the drinks were decent sizes. Prices were also pretty decent. Would definitely come back again.
Their simple menu of Americana/French classics shines. Affordable and fun - this bistro strums a note in between American dive and casual bistro. The sauce burger was excellent (get it medium).
Okay, first things first: they have the BEST burger in Brooklyn. I always order it plain and it’s absolutely delectable! The fries too. So good. Next, the vibe is great. Divey, but not a dive bar. I always get a mezcal marg or a frozen cocktail on a hot day.
I am a regular for their happy hour. Get there before 7pm for boozey negronis and super tasty wings. (They even have grilled wings) In Thursday’s, you can get 1/2 price wine, which includes bottles.
This is a such a cute place! Great service (really nice and smiley people working here!). We were a small group of friends, summer time, we sat outside, it was perfect! Decent price. Menu was simple but with great options to share. I would def. come back here.
The atmosphere is really nice. Good drinks and fun vibes. Get the Mac and cheese. It is amazing! Oysters are really good as well!
A great local bar and diner, named OTB (I was told) because it's in the site of a former off-track betting office. I went on a Monday night, and was lucky enough to take advantage of their $1 oysters, plus a hot chicken sandwich (fried chicken in a bun), plus a beer. The staff were welcoming, friendly, great fun to talk to, and also make superb cocktails. A gem!
Back back back back back again to add: Russell is a BOSS and the best — also here to remind everyone 1. Try the Mac n cheese & 2. Amber is a great bartender !! Finally, the OTB burger is KILLER and not at all to be feared. This place is everything.
The bar was super cosy and perfect for a little date night. We had a burger which was really nice and also the drinks were just perfect!
Regular place to have a chill night and have great drinks. Food is also very good. My family threw a surprise birthday dinner there for me, the staff was extremely helpful. They named named a drink after me lol
Feels like home. We walk in and the bartender gives us a nod. Mojitos follow shortly. We come for the $1 Oysters late night. The place is so much fun
My favorite bar in williamsburg! Servers are always amazingly pleasant. The food is always on point and the wine, ugh! A great vibe!
Staff is super nice and have a great sense of humor. Food was great.
Hidden gem. Great late night food options, all of them super tasty. It's comfort food so not ver healthy, but man is it good. Cocktails are also super solid. Need to go here more.
Wonderful cocktails and ooey-gooey delicious gruyer and truffle salt mac and cheese. Their home made pickle juice perfectly compliments in the pickleback!
Great neighborhood bar. Good happy hours and cocktails.
Nice local bar with very good music and great drinks. Nice friendly atmosphere to hangout with friends or even just a plus one. Food was very good as well.
Came for a cocktail one evening before Peter Luger. The bartender was friendly and the cocktails were good. Would definitely come back!
Best frozen mojito in BK and super friendly staff
AMAZING Hands down the best bar in Williamsburg, if you are into sophisticated drinks and high brow food that has been dumbed down for us peasants! Sister bar of Post Office, same comfort feeling but with a little bit of more sophistication. A grown up Post Office, if you will. The kitchen is bigger so the chef gets to put his full array of cooking talents to good use. The burger is amazing but I really love the specials they serve up from time to time, so keep coming back and follow them on instagram to learn what they are up to. Recently I had the bacon wrapped romain lettuce with blue cheese and I have never been so happy to clog my arteries. One New Years Eve my wife and I came and met loads of great people and ate an entire Pig that Chef Sammy had spent all week preparing. I will never forget that night (or the little i remember since i got pretty darn drunk) Love the staff, love the food, love the drinks. What else do you need to know? Pro tip: do a bar crawl and visit their sister bar POST OFFICE on Havemeyer and S 4th.
Visiting from Austin, TX. First time in Brooklyn. Original plan was to bar hop until our dinner reservation. Ended up staying a full 3-4 hours here. Prices are fair for the quality of the drinks. Absolute favorite is the frozen mojito. Service was excellent and bartenders were kind! Great place for a date night, girls day, or even solo!
Amazing spot! Came here for my birthday and they were able to accommodate my party of ~15 no problem. Super friendly staff, tasty food & drink options, great music & overall ambience. Definitely recommend and will be back!
I had my birthday party at OTB and it couldn’t have been a better location! Everyone kept telling me how cute the space was and the cocktails were delicious. They had great communication and were so accommodating during the planning process. 10/10, thank you OTB!
Amazing drinks, delicious comfort food. The place has a relaxed vibe that’s welcoming any time of day or night. Has a large bar, multiple booths, a pool table, and outdoor seating. The staff is great and the owner is a total badass with a wealth of knowledge of cocktails and spirits. I’ve been coming for years and I absolutely love this place!
I forgot the bartenders name, but he's a Virgo lol Great guy! Service superb! Awesome oyster happy hour & the mojitos were delicious! I can't wait to go back 🫶🏼
Terrific service and amazing drinks! We sat at the bar and the bartender took care of us all night, making drinks and adding fun garnishes on everything. She excitedly answered all of our dumb questions about the decor (it's horse race themed), and was very nice. The ambiance was great and a wonderful, chill place to hang after dinner.
We came on in on a weeknight and had a great time. The bartenders were lively and fun. Offered drink suggestions and even went downstairs to figure out what olives were used in the drink (because wow they were great!).
This place is PERFECT with delicious apps and drinks. Lovely location and friendly, polite staff. I walked in 10 weeks after having birthday drinks there and the bartender immediately recognized me and asked how my birthday had gone. We love this place and will keep coming
Holy hell, the chicken nuggets and waffle. Don't let the words chicken nuggets scare you. They make these themselves and they are expertly prepared. The waffle is so light and tasty, and they serve you pickled cherries along with a gravy, hot sauce and Maple syrup. Why cherries? Cut them in half and eat them with waffle. You'll find out, I don't want to ruin the experience beyond saying it results in what I think is one of the best chicken and waffles inspired dishes ever. It's such a treat. The staff are attentive, constantly filling our water whenever needed and always being cordial. The space is chic, and the drinks are great and unique. This place is definitely a treat and I strongly recommend visiting.
Néstor is great! We came here just for some drinks and ended up getting wings. 10/10
We had the best time ever!!!! Came here for our anniversary drinks and the bartender whipped up super special surprises. Very well made drinks and incredible service and decor. Thank you OTB❤️
I loved this bar. The aesthetics are beautiful. The service is amazing. Russell, the bartender, is wonderful. The have a pool table. Happy Hour has great deals which include some food items, such as 1/2 dozen oysters for $9. The oysters taste fresh. I have to checkout their $10 Happy Hour Cheeseburger. The Cocktails are good. The people that came in were very nice. They also have good music. I will definitely be back.
my goto spot for years. always get grilled wings and caesar salad - both top notch. couple real nice beers great music, hip hop reggae etc here and torst best gastropubs in north brooklyn, for me
We came in for the brunch happy hour which was great. The place was pretty quite inside although we both thought it had a pretty cool atmosphere. They also have an outdoor space with seating infront which we enjoyed after we were done eating. Highlights: The wings were excellent. Probably our favorite wings in NYC so far. If you like breaded wings which are our go to for their sauce sponging ability. These were 10/10. The sauce was really good. Not too spicy but just really flavorful. The actual wings were not small and really juicy! Oysters were great. For the happy hour special they were $1.50 each! The happy hour margarita was very good. I'm always a little apprehensive when it comes to happy hour drinks because they are usually pretty low quality- premixed or just thrown together to kick out volume vs quality. Definitely didn't have that reaction to this margarita Negative: I don't remember the exact prices but I believe most of the craft beers were all over $10 a piece. There was an IPA for example that was $14. Craft cocktail price for a beer is a turnoff. They do offer some cheaper beers (shitty beers) which luckily are my speed as well, love me some Narragansett. The staff were super friendly and generally speaking gave off a pretty cool vibe. We would go back for sure!
Very cozy and cool place to visit with family or friends. We came there for a drink, to relax after a long week. Moscow Mule was excellent! The next day we came back for oysters. They were just amazing! The staff is very friendly and they recognized us right away which means they pay attention to their customers☺️ We are definitely planning to visit this place again when we will travel to Brooklyn again.
What a nice gem in this Williamsburg neighborhood … the selection was a near perfection bar menu and the food was great with signature cocktails. The ambiance was comfortable and the staff was attentive, appreciative and kind. I had a great meal and conversation there … I liked it a lot!
I love this place OMG!!!!! THE OYSTERS r a MUST! THE BURGER OMG!!!! HONESTLY ONE OF THE BEST BURGERS I HAVE EATEN IN A LONGTIME THE BEEF WAS COOK TO MY PERFECYOO. THE FLAVOR WAS AMAZING!!!! The hot dog could be a little meater so small but that Chilli wit cheese made it up for it. My friend had the French onion soup and was drooling. LOVE THE SALAD SERIOUSLY The wings were a little too big for our liking. THIS IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE PLACES HANDS DOWN!!!!!!
Big beautiful space, awesome interior, very friendly staff. This American bistro and cocktail bar was a great discovery when we where walking on Broadway. When you order wine, it comes in a small carafe so that you can pour it yourself, which I love. I ordered the escargots with mushroom purée, garlic, parsley and lemon butter. My food was delicious. They have great deals for Happy Hour and Late Night Dollar Oysters.
Delicious. Menu does change. I went in for lobster and grits, but they didn’t have it. I picked a fried rice dish and it was amazing! The only change I would make is not using the water glass as the juice glass also. Nice deco, friendly staff, and I loved seeing Save by the Bell projected up.
I love this place! They have great cocktails, food, and the service is always excellent. I highly recommend the passionfruit margarita on the rocks.
Tasty food and good atmosphere. The cocktails were a bit sweet for my taste but it's a beautiful spot.
Food was good only thing that could be better is there spicy wings. It more salty than spicy. The environment is awesome. I would go back again.
Very nice atmosphere and the cocktails was good. The wings are just okay and overpriced.
Price is ok but they could add some more cocktails. Some of them are too boring or taste strange. Add some classics and much more people would come.
Great spot, amazing wings and chicken fingers. Good cocktails as well
I was a little hesitant about this spot when I saw how small the menu was, but was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food! I ordered the mac and cheese, a friend of mine got the French onion soup and the cheeseburger, and my other friend got the fried pickles. All were SO tasty! I thought I was going to die of happiness with the mac and cheese, ha! The only complaint I had was that our waiter was not very attentive and we were seated right next to the door on a frigid night; the pricing was fair, but they only do separate checks with parties of 4 people or less and we were a party of 6 so I ultimately ended up paying around $40 for mac and cheese and a beer. Their cocktail selection was pretty good, mostly just a huge liquor list which leaves much to the imagination! It was very convenient as it is located close to the subway station so we weren't in the cold for long. Overall, a nice experience with tasty food and really nice ambiance!
The kitchen closed at 9pm on a Saturday , but the place has a nice interior design. Cocktails are okay but not great. The best thing were the waiters, great service !
Chill place w/ stellar drinks It's a "hangout" kinda place, except that this one has an extra-ordinary selection of drinks and equally good munchies to boot! There is much fun to be had working your way through the cocktail list, and if you're up for it, their liquor menu has some amazing tequilas and mezcals 😋 And yeah, the food is really good too. All of it. Though, while you're at it, check out the pickle plate - they make their own pickles, and they're good! Finally, friendly, friendly peoples. So yeah, just go...
Nice staff but very bad burger
Typical Williamsburg hipster spot. Pretty cool decor/atmosphere with so-so food. I must say the $1.00 Oysters are a hit and worth coming in for with a drink.
Good place. Food was very good but medium rare burger came medium well (and was small).
Came to this place last night at the suggestion of a cool Yelper I've met at 2 Yelp Elite events. I'm giving them 4 stars for the drinks and for the overall ambience and for the decent food, but if for some inexplicable reason if someone told me that I was not allowed to ever return here again...I would be A-OK with that. OTB is a kinda-sorta-but-not-really fancypants cocktail bar & restaurant with a slightly pretentious, Williamsburg feel. I feel like they try to be fancier than they actually are, but whatever - dim lighting, candles on the tables - lots of dark wood furniture - yeah, we get it, you're OH SO POSH. SO POSH. The cocktail list here is pretty darn fantastic. I will give them that. Was going to stick with a classic Old Fashioned (made here with demeara sugar, old overholt rye whiskey, angostura bitters, stirred, on the rocks), but decided to go rogue and order a drink called a "Staycation" which was Del Maguey Mezcal, Old Overholt Rye, Fresh Orange Juice, Rasberry Syrup, Angostura and Bittermans Tiki Bitters. I didn't even know what two of those ingredients were, but decided that after tons of Moscow Mules earlier I wanted something decidedly sweeter as my nightcap and sweet it was...without being disgustingly so...but definitely interesting. I do appreciate that it didn't taste syrupy and think that using Rasberry Puree would have given this drink a nicer texture - I did like that it was garnished with fresh mint because that always smells nice and adds an air of aromatic pleasantness and automatically makes anything refreshing so that was a nice addition. The other two gals I was with also got cocktails. One ordered a Hemingway Daiquiri (goslings rum, fresh lime juice, fresh grapefruit juice, luxardo maraschino, shaken, served up) and if I remember correctly, described it as "this tastes like sex in a glass!" and my other friend ordered a Oaxacan Wino (Del Maguey Mezcal, Red Wine Reduction, Antica, Carpano Vermouth) which was also interesting and I wasn't crazy about it upon sampling it, but I think she liked it. Being hungry, but not *too* hungry we also ordered a cheese burger with fries to share amongst the 3 of us. We ordered it well-done (since 1 out of the three of us doesn't like any sort of rare-ness to her burger) and it was surprisingly juicy. I'm more of a medium-rare kinda gal, yet the meat wasn't dry or burnt so I was pleased with the small piece of burger I got to consume. The fries were ok. Not the best, not the worst. Overly seasoned and my bestie commented on finding them salty and that was definitely true. They're a little thicker than shoestring fries and they left the potato skin on them which in my book is a plus, but if they can learn to lay a little off the seasoning and salt then they would be significantly better. Here's a good motto I just created: "Be heavy handed with booze, not salt". Yeah, I'm a marketing genius. Service here wasn't all sunshine and lollipops, our waiter was slow in asking us for drink orders, slow in bringing us our check...no refills on water...dunno man, I know it was late, but that's not how to build a fanbase or repeat patrons. There goes my marketing prowess again, heh. Overall this place is meh-licious. Meh.
I was fine with my cocktails here, but nobody else in my party was and honestly - none were worth the time. Everything seemed pretty cheap though, and the accoutrements were beautiful. The lime is especially lovely. I'd go someplace else next time, but this is an acceptable option if nothing else is open.
Hot tip: they don’t service the outside tables at all, so great dine and dash opportunity.
Barista today saying I can’t wait for my order while standing, tell your chefs next time to hurry up my order. Barista happy to get tips while people watch her make the drinks but looking at her and waiting for my Food is a problem. People are different for money 🤣🤣
