The kebabs were tender and full of flavor, the saffron rice was fluffy and aromatic, and the fresh herbs and sides tied everything together perfectly. The bread was warm and crisp, straight from the oven. Service was friendly and fast, and the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. Everything here is delicious and fresh!! Everything we ordered was a10/10. The owner is very friendly and you can tell he’s very passionate about his restaurants. He showed us how to eat everything with Sumac and herbs. We will definitely be back.

Fantastic. Over the course of 10-15 years I've only posted a few comments on this app even though I eat out often. This place deserves the review. I'm not sure if Persian food is always this good or it's just this place, but this was spectacular.

Excellent authentic food. Kabobs with an excellent quality, taste, texture. Individual rice with tah-digs is a really nice touch. Appetizers and the desert are made as if they are homemade. With excellent presentation. Very friendly and appreciative owner and staff. Will certainly come back for more

Wow. I ordered the shishlik lamb skewers and they were on another level. In fact, the meat was so tender it practically melted, easily the best lamb skewers I have had in the Bay. What really set the night apart though was the atmosphere. From the traditional decor to the warm aroma that greeted us and the attentive service throughout, everything just felt right. This is easily one of the best dining experiences I've ever had and I'm already thinking about who I can bring back here next because it would be a tragedy to not share such a gem. I usually don't write restaurant reviews (this is my first time writing one actually), but Persian Nights gave me a reason to.

As Persian living in Bay Area, I almost visited most Persian restaurants around, specially famous ones. But I would say today I have found the best of the best Persian food. I was so impressed with the quality and taste of this restaurant . And this will be my best to go Persian food from now on! I wish I give the place more stars but five is max and that’s the least they deserve! Keep up with impressive work Persian nights! 🤗

Cozy, family-run restaurant with excellent, authentic Persian food. The dolmas are like none other & the entrees are generous and fresh. The most fun thing of about this restaurant is that they celebrate every holiday with really cute decorations around the restaurant, which makes the atmosphere very fun and lively. I highly recommend this neighborhood spot for good times and great food!

Wow, got take out last night on the recommendation of an out of town friend who wanted Persian food. I had never had this before, and it is delicious! If you dine in they will recommend dishes. Very complex flavors and nice presentation. My friend who is Algerian and has been to Iran said it was really good, really authentic. Lovely restaurant too! We will definitely be back to dine in!

My friend and I dined there on a pleasant spring-like Sunday afternoon. We were given the choice to sit in the front loggia area or the restaurant interior. We chose to sit inside for easier conversation time. As soon as we sat down, we were smitten by the details immediately: beautiful stone table tops and chairs, nicely laid out and printed menus with enticing items. The walls and the lighting were designed minimally but tastefully. Our waitress was professional, courteous and reserved. We were excited about their beverage selections right away, and indeed they did not disappoint. My friend had a sparkling yogurt drink that was refreshingly delightful, and so was my pistachio-flavored lemonade. We ordered three appetizers and an entree to share. The fermented yogurt with dill oil and nuts, roasted eggplant spread, and the lollipop chops were throughly delicious with the complementary flat breads, which were warm, crisp and irresistible. Our entree, kebab koobideh, arrived with generous servings of flamed pepper, tomato, two long skewers of beef sausages and superbly crisped basmati rice that was topped with a round of sumac butter. Flavors of spices, herbs and the richness of the dairy and proteins were throughly satisfactory. This is a restaurant that would certainly be visited again soon. Their food deserves your patronage and liking.

Without a doubt, the best Persian food I've had Stateside. The kabob is very well prepared the way it is in Iran (juicy, rich, and buttery). All the touches, like the disc of tahdig and sumac butter were all great. Service is also excellent, with the owner offering table-side preparation if you like. It's rare to find Persian restaurants of this quality outside Iran.

Wow, hadn't been here since the remodel and they did a great job! The atmosphere is really nice, and they even added a little bar with a TV, which is cool even if it's just beer and wine. The food was super flavorful and fresh. My lamb chops were maybe a tad overdone for my taste, and the portion looked a little small, but it wasn't bad. The service was great though, and I'd definitely come back to try some other stuff on the menu.

I was craving Persian food and this definitely fulfilled my cravings. I ordered a customized Kabob plate of Koobideh (ground beef) and Joojeh (chicken breast) and Ghormei Sabzi. The star was the Koobideh! So flavorful and buttery tasting. You must eat this quickly when it's hot. It tastes the best when hot from the grill. The Joojeh was tasty too, but a bit salty just by itself. The Ghormei Sabzi was good, but a little too sour IMHO. Great meal overall! Would definitely come back. I sat in the patio and it was nice, but there were some really loud bikers ruining the tranquil space. That was the biggest turnoff that no one can control. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Great place for Mediterranean/Persian cuisine in Oakland. Amazing authentic delicious fresh dishes. Presentation is awesome with individually cooked rice dish with crispy rice/bread on top! So delicate touch! Try Baklava for sure. It's so rich and baked with honey, no sugar! It has plenty of indoor and outdoor tables. Good for groups, kids, small party and casual night out. Heaters around when needed. Owner is a respectable gentleman who's also serving and hosting with very welcoming attitude. Great add to the setting! Highly recommending.
