My friend and I went directly to this restaurant after an overnight flight and it was the best choice we ever made. The food was so delicious, I swear they put crack in those fries because I have genuinely never tasted better fries in my life. The current menu is super veg/vegan friendly and the restaurant itself is so cute. Everything is reasonably priced and the cocktails are delicious. I will genuinely be thinking about those fries until my next NYC trip, an all time favorite for sure!

I've had special events planned/catered by Gabi at the Ft. Greene spot and I've had dinners at the Williamsburg spot. Dinner was excellent; great spot to pop in with a date. I don't drink but the alcohol selection was praised by my dinner pal. The catered event was perfect. Gabi had the setup perfect to entertain around 30 people. She had vegan and non-vegan options setup and worked with her personal baker to get a tres leches type cake going. So awesome.

I come to this place at least once a week and can always count on good food and great service. The staff is chill and they play great music so definitely a cool place to hang out with friends. The whipped ricotta is a 10/10.

Best spot for quality food. The Baba Fries are eaten in my apartment like 3 times a week, i just tried the new Crispy chicken and Drunken Gabi and its delicious. Coolest bartenders in williamsburg, unmatched atmosphere.

I love babacool! The food is wonderful, great ambience and wonderful staff ( Gabi the event manager is amazing). It’s the perfect place to go to catch up with a friend / family or host your birthday event. I had my birthday dinner here and it was perfect :)

i’m so shocked this place isnt more known. my boyfriend stumbled upon this on googlr and brought me here and it’s not my FAVORITE place in the neighborhood to eat. the vibes, the food, the service… great.

Incredible brunch spot with a cozy atmosphere, with great prices for New York standards. I got the Beet Hummus on a whim, and those beets had no right being that good. The scrambled eggs in my Breakfast Sandwich were also super fluffy and light. I usually don't like beets and eggs, but whatever black magic Baba Cool worked has got me second guessing! Will definitely be back with friends.

Baba Cool is very… COOL! Loved sitting outside for a nice lunch. The food was delicious, very thankful for so many vegetarian/vegan options. The cocktails were also fantastic - bloody and espresso martini were some of the bests I’ve ever had!

We held a ~50 person engagement party at baba cool. The backyard area was the perfect venue and people kept complementing us on the location choice. The events team was helpful and communicative in planning the event and menu for the evening. The staff during the party were amazing and worked hard to make sure that everything was perfect. They were polite and accommodating at every turn. Felipe could not have been a better partner for us in the kitchen. He often checked in with us to make sure the timing and amount of food were right on point. He was so accommodating to guests with food restrictions as well. We would highly recommend hosting an event at baba cool!

Came here for happy hour and enjoyed the atmosphere. The bartenders were friendly and I enjoyed the beer on tap. The food looks and smells delicious but I'll have to come back for that. The decor is pretty cool but only ended up with some photos of the reflection on the ceiling. 🙃

Our server was so sweet, perfect service. Food and drinks were excellent, but both took a long time to come out. My sandwich had the most exquisite bun. Cocktail was well balanced and refreshing. One thing was a strong odor in the backyard. It could be anything but smelled like something was rotting. I understand that sometimes things like this are beyond control, but I encourage management to take a look at the space.

I never write reviews but this place totally deserves a good one. Gabi (the owner) set me up with the backyard space for a suprise engagement celebration for my fiance and I along with about 30 of our friends. She helped coordinate a wonderful event with great food, drink, and facilitated an incredible environment for us to bring people together for a special occasion. This event plus the handful of other times that I've been have been great. The menu has some gems (including the Drunken Gabi noodles).

Super cute restaurant with a lovely covered garden and great food. We got the quinoa vegetable salad, crispy chicken sando, and the fries - and all were delicious and reasonably priced. Service was friendly, attentive, and fast. Would recommend for brunch and looking forward to coming back to try for dinner.

Baba Cool is a great little cafe in Williamsburg. The atmosphere is comfortable and cool. The menu has great variety. Plenty of healthy options. We had one of the grain bowls, avocado toast and a side of cheddar scrambled eggs. The eggs are amazing. They have great coffee and tea options as well. Highly recommend for a casual breakfast or lunch.

After having such a wonderful experience at the new Baba Cool location in Fort Greene, I was excited to stop by Baba on Withers! Everyone was so kind and welcoming. It always feels extra special to connect with the staff local to your neighborhood. These are the people that make it what it is! I’m looking forward to going back soon :)

Post Mother’s Day, a very satisfying lunch - sharing the healthy looking salad, not so healthy fry, the refreshing rose water lemonade and the mother daughter time🥰

M

I come here often for lunch. I absolutely love the Carny even though that’s more breakfast, but they serve eggs until 5 which is hard to find in Williamsburg. The Turkey sandwich is also one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. My husband and I tried the dinner menu last week and we will for sure be back! The bar salmon was perfectly cooked and that cauliflower vichyssoise was out of the world. the brisket with fennel and sweet potato was such a cozy warming meal. We share the two. The wine selection was excellent and the server did a fantastic job helping us pair. And overall just a beautifully designed space inside and a relaxing garden outback. We love this place.

OMG WE LOVE SOPHY!!! Kate was able to sport her fedora with no side glances, the drinks were toasty and food was yum. 10/10 would come back especially if we had Sophy again.

Dinner last night at Baba Cool was a real treat - everything, from the ambiance to the staff to the meal, was perfect. Had a truly sublime salmon that was delicate and delicious and the cocktail (Hot Monica) was phenomenal. Everyone that worked there was kind and friendly and made us feel at home in the space. The chef was particularly delightful. Cannot recommend this place more.

S
Sara DiClemente

Highly recommend this place - I usually go for breakfast. They have a limited food menu but they do everything very well. The white cheddar eggs are a favorite. The avocado toast is always loaded with flavor and very fresh. All the bread that comes with the dishes is great too, which is nice - nothing messes up a sandwich like lackluster bread. The restaurant is very cute, some indoor seating and a lot of outdoor seating in their back patio area which also has a small bocce court.

S
Samantha Padreddii

I had my birthday there with a group of 8 or so and they were soooooo good to me!! It was so lively and the employees were attentive and fun. I am going to rave to everyone about this place ❣️

Love this place. Perfect neighborhood spot. Bartenders and servers are so warm and welcoming, cocktails are delicious - especially the Nuero Spicy. The duck leg confit is so delicious. Will always be coming back here.

Last night me and my wife had our wedding celebration in the back courtyard here, and we could not have picked a better place. We had 30 people coming from all over the east coast and really wanted this to be a special night. Gabi and her staff went above and beyond to make this happen for us. They worked closely with us to craft the menu and set the mood, and the servers made sure everything ran perfectly. All of our guest raved about the food and the atmosphere. Working with them leading up to last night we saw how committed they were to making this the perfect event for us. The head chef even made a special desert for us, the best cheesecake I have ever had! I would book with them again without hesitation.

M

The food here is special. Every dish is crafted with an intentional combination of flavors. All of the food we had was just outstanding! The atmosphere is cozy and intimate, perfect for any occasion really. The crispy chicken made with chickpea flour was so moist and flavorful, and the brussel sprouts were truly unlike any other I've had, and brussels are done a lot! You should not miss out on Baba Cool.

I'm truly so in love with Baba Cool. Their lunch and dinner menu have a lot of options (I'm a picky eater) and yet I find myself always trying and loving something new on both menus. My favorite dinner item is the Drunken Gabi. It has the perfect amount of flavor and spice. I dream of this dish! Also, I can eat an entire serving of the Crispy Brussel Sprouts myself - soooo good. The atmosphere is so warm, welcoming, and comfortable. Some restaurants in the area are loud and stuffy. Not Baba Cool. This Williamsburg spot has such a cool vibe (the mirrors on the ceilings!!!) and the seating is cozy. I have a 9-month old baby and we love coming here because they are so accommodating with high chairs and storing our stroller too. Plus, I have to mention the outdoor patio that's covered and heated in the winter. We ate there for New Year's Eve last year and it was so warm and nice. I've lived in Williamsburg for 6 years and this spot is my all-time favorite. Check it out for lunch or dinner. You'll be surprised how much you adore everything about Baba Cool!

I had a semi-last minute 12 person brunch I needed to organize, and baba cool was super accommodating and really fantastic. Very reasonably priced, delicious food, and amazing service. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great brunch, for both small parties and large!

Baba cool is a unique kind of experience - even in a place like New York. The indoor and outdoor ambiance is an elevated comforting feel. The drink selection and the menu make you want to schedule your next visit on the spot - don’t forget to order the fries! The vibe is great for hosting private parties and events too. 10/10!

I can’t decide where to begin my review. I did not have high expectations but everything exceed expectations. Food was delicious and huge portions for the price, the drinks were also not watered down and healthy portions. The indoor/ outdoor ambience was amazing, even on a cold night in February. I would highly recommend the broiler oysters, baba fries and the ricotta toast.

M
Matthew Thurm

I live in the neighborhood and so happy to have discovered this place. It is cozy, beautiful and delicious. I came for dinner and sat at the bar. The bartender was lovely. She recommended the Broiled Oysters to start which was such a nice treat. It was warm with herby garlic butter & mini croutons. Exceptional. For my main, I had the Pretty Raw Salad with Brisket. What an elegant salad..and that brisket so savory ! This all paired perfectly with their cocktail, the Japanese Affinity (made with Suntory Whiskey). I highly recommend for a delicious meal solo, with friends or on a date !!

M

I can’t recommend baba cool enough, from the lovely backyard, fantastic food and attentive staff! We ordered the whipped ricotta, kale salad, brisket and salmon - each dish was perfection. Our waiter Nicholas suggested a great wine (the pinot gris). We will be back very soon :)

New fave spot! The food is incredible and the service is top notch. As someone with multiple dietary restrictions, I extra appreciate when major allergens are noted and seriously addressed, and baba cool did that perfectly. Had to go twice in a row this weekend because the food is THAT good.

Chill hangout/brunch/study place with quality, fresh food at a really good price! This place is totally a hidden gem. We got the Asada Bowl and Carny Breakfast, both were incredibly yummy, healthy, and filling. The interior was aesthetic and had cool art that was great for insta pics, and the backyard had a game called Pétanque that would be fun to play with friends. Will definitely be coming back often for the chill vibes and cheap food!

Recently had our engagement party at this location. The event coordinator, Gabi, was very responsive and took care of all our needs. Fantastic experience. Delicious and quasi-healthy. The cocktails were great, I got the Doom Scroll, a grear name and also flavor profile. The staff was super warm. Would go again! It was a little empty/quiet when we were there around 9.30pm on a Friday, but had good company and it didn't bother us. Might have been less scene-y because of the cold.

We had an incredible experience at Baba on Withers. John, our waiter, was attentive and professional, ensuring everything went smoothly. Justin, the bartender, mixed some excellent drinks that added to the evening. Gabby, the owner, brought a warm and welcoming energy, making the place feel like home. Gaylon, another waiter, helped out and kept the vibe friendly and efficient. We ordered the salmon plate and the mushroom plate—both dishes were perfectly cooked and full of flavor. To top it off, the chocolate mousse was delicious. The hospitality across the board was unmatched.

Baba’s one of my favorite local spots. It’s a great wine bar with cool pocketed mirrored ceilings and a big backyard patio that’s beautiful in summer and heated during winter. The wine’s good food’s good design’s nice lighting’s nice music’s good service’s good and the owner’s hot & cool🏆 Best place to have a party.

BABA on Withers is stylish, cozy and effortlessly cool. The Marseille-inspired menu is packed with hits (the duck confit and bouillabaisse toast are musts), and the natural wine list is one of the best in Brooklyn. Cocktails are inventive, the vibe is electric (especially on DJ nights), and the staff makes you feel like a regular from the jump. Whether you're there for a laid-back dinner or a lively night out, BABA nails it.

A

One of my favorite restaurants in Williamsburg. The atmosphere is so warm and inviting, cozy especially with their heated and covered outdoor patio. I love their Brussels sprouts as a starter and crispy chicken dinner. We brought our nine month old and it was enjoyable eating there - they have high chairs and were very accommodating. Highly recommend! We can’t wait to go back.

W

Oh my god. This food. This service. This vibe. Yes it takes intent to get to BaBa but so do it. The Brussels and the tagine and the endive salad coupled with Justin, Gabi and Kailey are just all sensational. We came across these guys from an email newsletter and coming from Australia to visit this place, we loved it. We can’t speak highly enough of the entire package. Make the trip. Book it or just get a seat at the bar!

There is no shortage of places to get a good sandwich in Williamsburg, but this place stands above all the ones I've tried so far. In fact, their brisket sandwich is possibly the best sandwich I've ever had. The bread is absolutely amazing, the brisket is absolutely amazing, and the overall flavors are out of this world!

Firstly, the service was supreme, the hosts were super friendly and helpful. The food, delicious. The fries came out a little bit late, however we’re the best gourmet French fries I’ve experienced. The asada bowel had ample portions and were incredible flavorful. Mocktail hit just right; the matcha grapefruit was Devine. Thanks guys

R

The food looked so yummy that I couldn’t even take pictures (only the desserts). Amazing salads and dressings, outstanding beet hummus. The bacon, egg and cheese sandwich on the fluffy brioche was so delicious as well as the brisket sandwich. Wings were nice & meaty. Watermelon and green juices were very refreshing. The blueberry cake was moist and balanced, same as the chocolate chip cookie. It’s a must go close to the L and the G. My mom and my brother got fascinated with the place too. And the backyard is so magical! I would definitely come back!

BABA on Withers is a vibe. A gorgeous wine bar in Williamsburg- immediately obsessed with their mirrored ceilings and their outdoor garden, with complimentary blankets to cozy up in winter. I love the wines on tap, as well as the natural wines by the bottle which the server said rotates quite often. I also tried the cocktail with dill infused gin, refreshingly delish and easy to drink too quickly. The food is amazing, I am gluten free and they had so many gluten free accommodations that I could order almost everything on the menu. The brussel sprouts might have been my favorite, super moist and crispy. Will definitely be back!

M
Morgan Tomasetti

The food here is delicious and the vibes are . I ordered “The Gabi” and added bacon and toast. The cheesy eggs are some of the best I’ve ever had, and the brussels and butternut squash balance each other out perfectly for a perfect fall dish!! The drinks are also delicious!! Highly recommend for anyone who wants a healthy meal that’s delicious and affordable.

Amazing food. Amazing service. Amazing vibes. Amazing backyard. Just Amazing all around. A friend highly recommended that I check out Baba Cool for all the above, and now that I'm eating for two (yay, pregnancy!) I've become a lot more picky about food quality and taste. Baba cool delivered on both requirements, and exceeded them. Galen, our server, was attentive and really knowledgeable about each dish-and very accomodating for my pregnant lady requests and questions! We ordered the Salmon, the Drunken Gabi, and my hubby got the steak frites- when I say amazing, I mean amazing (am I writing amazing too much? Too bad, its true). I dont know what sauce they used for the Salmon, but it made my little one kick up a storm, it was so good- maybe I have a Baba baby. I liked the drunken Gabi so much, I sent a picture to my girlfriends so they remember to bring me some back the next time they come. The portion sizes were large and the food came out quickly.  We will definitely be coming back again, and maybe even hosting a party in the beautiful backyard since apparently you can rent out the space and the food, ambience and service was so great. Babacool was definitely worth the trip!

We hosted our wedding after party at Baba on Withers and it was the best experience start to finish. Ahead of the event, Gabi and the staff were very responsive to emails and questions we had. They made sure everything was in place and took a lot of the stress off of us. Baba is a hidden gem in Williamsburg! We had a private event in the back garden and everything from food, their amazing cocktail and natural wine, vibe of the space and of course the lovely service staff was absolutely amazing. We love stopping by Baba for a quick dinner and drink as well but it is truly an amazing place to hold an event as you’ll get taken care of by the sweetest team. Special shout out to Seth and Gabi for making the planning so easy and smooth!

We hosted a welcome party the night before our wedding (full buyout) at BABA on Withers and it was absolutely perfect. The drinks and food were amazing, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the vibes were top tier. We used both the indoor and outdoor space, and the team was super helpful in guiding us on an ideal floor plan and menu for the night. We had about 110 guests and it was a great size -- not too packed but felt full and high energy. High recommend looking at BABA for a private event in Williamsburg!

Baba on Withers initially appears unassuming from the outside, but stepping in reveals a completely different atmosphere. The indoor space was surprisingly loud with music, immediately signaling that it was not the place for a quiet conversation with my friend. Our hope rested on finding space in their outdoor patio. Fortunately, there was room, and we were incredibly glad we stayed. While the patio may not be the most meticulously curated, it possesses a distinct rustic charm with decorations that clearly show thoughtful effort. Outdoor light globes, heaters on ceilings, comfortable outdoor sofas, and even a disco ball (!!!) contributed to a wonderfully free and relaxed ambiance. It felt so good to be there with people, their babies, their dogs, and the gentle breeze. The servers were very chill and laid back while still being attentive to their jobs, which we deeply appreciated. They were flexible with us moving tables when the weather got colder, demonstrating that carefree yet fully attentive attitude. We ordered the fries, and they arrived unsalted. I am unsure if this was intentional or an oversight, but it is something some people will like and others may not. The cheese sprinkled on top did help. It is a good order to have as a finger food if you have already eaten. To start, we also got two glasses of white wine called "Couple Goals." It tasted good; nothing particularly stood out to me, but it was tasty and a safe option. I would want to try another white next time. We then got two red wines, "Premises," which kind of tasted like natural wine. While it was not what we were expecting, it was interesting, and I liked it a lot, though my friend was not the biggest fan. The bathroom was clean, which was a pleasant surprise for a bar, and I hope it does stay that way. I would absolutely return to Baba on Withers for the patio, though not for the indoors, and because of the excellent servers and the overall vibe. I have not yet tried their more substantial food items, which I would also like to explore on a future visit.

Must come and enjoy a drink. It was Sunday so menu was very limited not to many options ( food ) but the ricotta dip with bread was pretty good. Drinks are very well made and the service is very casual but nice. Will definitely stop by again

Visited on a Monday night during Happy Hour and was so happy I did. I tried the server's suggestion of her favorite 'yesterday's wine,' which was a wonderful sparkling red that hit the spot and then went on to share Brussels Sprouts (which were addictive) and the Boulliabaise Toast with rock shrimp on top that was a yummy take on the French classic. The secret garden in the back was so pretty - I want to come up with an excuse to throw a party back there. Needless to say I'll be back very soon.

So cute, I highly recommend! I was looking for a nice spot for a bite and to take a call. Baba Cool was a godsend. I ordered the bar salmon (which was delicious) and a blood orange mocktail. Came across the owners, who are super sweet. Will definitely be back with some friends and for a date night!

Whipped ricotta with fennel and Brussels sprouts were delicious! Came for a drink and some snacks around 4pm on a Thursday afternoon and there was plenty of seating. Our server was very nice, I love the backyard area.

We found this cute place on the way to see friends. The coffee ☕️ was fantastic and the fries are a treat. Ask for extra dipping sauce for sure. No time for other dishes but the avocado toast looked amazing.

Went for weekend brunch and we got the Gabi bowl and Baba bowl with spicy chicken. I loved Gabi — he was healthy and fulfilling. Overall interesting flavors and brussels sprouts were delicious. We also tried the matcha latte and signature raw cacao iced drinks but would skip. Nonetheless service was excellent and garden seating in back was great.

Baba Cool Williamsburg is the answer. Whether it’s hanging out with friends on their backyard bamboo filled patio lounge, a healthy lunch with your laptop and mirrored ceilings inside, a boozy brunch, or a casual dinner with a date or family, this spot delivers on flavor, atmosphere, and that Brooklyn cool factor you’re looking for. Their famous whipped ricotta. Their legendary breakfast sandwiches - think fluffy scrambled eggs overflowing on a brioche bun. And their fresh coffee and cocktails – whatever time, it’s the perfect pick-me-up. Just head to Baba Cool – your friends, family and tastebuds will thank you.

Baba cool came highly recommended. Getting there from midtown was so easy that we were there in about 20 mins. We had reservations, but the restaurants vibe was really chill, so we were able to choose our own seats. The menu was very simple they only had four entree choices. The waiter recommended the salmon. But before that, we ordered appetizers to share. Both were so delicious but in very different ways. The Broccoli Rabe toast was savoy, sweet, crunchy it was my favorite. We also had the baba fries, which were addictive. Everything came out quick and hot. I literally inhaled the main course, which was the Bar Salmon. The crispy skin was to die for. The environment was very chill and was great for conversation and catching up. We ended the night with some cocktails. I had a Mexican Mule the drink was strong and not too sweet. An evening was had, and I we were told to come back for brunch.

As a long time NYC denizen, I've had great food from a number of places. But this, THIS PLACE is amazing. I'm a heavy meat eater so a vegetable forward menu isn't something that would normally impress me. Yet Baba Cool did, so much so I've gone back numerous times. This is what you are in for; the Brisket Aligot is mouth wateringly flavorful. I took a quick snap of it so you would be jealous. The Bar Salmon is moist and has a cauliflower sauce of some sort that just explodes with taste- that's also pictured. The staff has been friendly, and the wine paired with my meals under the advice of the servers never fails to just add that extra touch. Two things that I love so much I actually make a trip there for them; Brussel sprouts with black sesame and Tahiti and for desert a Peanut Butter Banoffee. My mother would be upset to hear this, but Mom, I really do love Brussel sprouts now. And coming from a guy who eats peanut butter out of a jar, I wish I could put the Peanut Butter Banoffee in a jar. Forever. A great place for a date, for friends to meet, or just go by yourself for a meal, I can't recommend Babacool enough.

Food was delicious. Staff are lovely. The drinks were only ok. We had a house chai and a matcha, both were very weak. They need to add more powder / mix, we essentially had mildly flavoured milk

It was our first time coming here for brunch. We had a great time the food and service were fantastic. The place is pretty cool too. They have a patio in the back unfortunately, it was raining the day we came so we had to sat inside which was nice as well. Now I know why this place has so many hype🤗 I will definitely be considering coming back again for happy hour.

Carrots were good but overpriced in my opinion. The Whipped Ricotta was actually really really good. The bread it came with was also good if not burnt. (Asked for another order of it but it was kind of burnt which wasn't as enjoyable as the first order) & Salmon could've been bigger in size given the price but to be fair, the salmon was cooked very well! Crispy skin, soft and juicy fish meat that was nicely salted too. The beans that came with the salmon was GREAT I loved it lol Ambiance was cute but not enjoyable during the evening because the lighting was really bad. I could barely see my food. The lamps they provided did little to no help to provide light. I actually ate something bitter towards the end of my meal when I scooped out some whipped ricotta on to my bread. My suspicion is that maybe a bug flew right in and got stuck somewhere but since the lighting was horrible, I couldn't really see. So anyway, that part wasn't enjoyable. Ample lighting would've helped. Service was ok- good. Nothing great. Just being honest. They were nice but maybe understaffed? Not sure. But I'm saying this cause I felt like I had to follow up stuff. Overall 4/5 could've been better if the outdoor area had better lighting, and if portions were just a little bit kind of bigger for its price :) but the food in terms of taste alone is good, 5/5 imo. Simple but good. But maybe go during the day not the evenings to appreciate everything better in general

Enjoying breakfast in a quiet garden feels like being at home. The combination of delicious food and a cozy, serene setting creates a perfect start to the day, fostering a sense of comfort and relaxation that is truly unparalleled.

All 3 of us took our server’s suggestion to get the chicken sando but it was so tough and horrible. Additionally, our fries arrived cold and they remade them but charged us for 2 orders. Would not go back.

This review is for Babacool in Williamsburg, for dinner only (I haven't been to the other location or had brunch there). I've been to Babacool at least 5 times, so I've given it a few tries before I wrote this. Pros: Certain dishes are very good (fried brussel sprouts, gabi noodles, whipped ricotta), atmosphere is casual and inviting and the backyard is nice. The owner is lovely and very personable. Cons: Wait staff leaves a lot to be desired. Waiters are sloppy, disorganized, and uninformed. The bathroom had no soap, there was food on the floor and overall cleanliness was not great. On multiple occasions, the waiters could not describe to us what we were eating. Appetizers have been forgotten. At our last dinner, I ordered a mocktail and confirmed that it was alcohol-free. The waitress carelessly responded that she "wasn't sure" if it had alcohol in it. She proceeded to put the drink down in front of me and walked away. This is totally unacceptable. Honestly, it feels like it's everyone's first day on the job. We are repeat customers and transparently, we have sworn off this restaurant multiple times, but continued to go. Some of the dishes are really good, even though their flavors are confusing at times. Our last dinner's service and the lack of attention and accountability of the staff were so disappointing that it will be our last. Good luck, Babacool!

They used to have the second best chicken sandwich I've had in Brooklyn, but they replaced it with some chicken salad sandwich that has bananas in it and I could not be more disappointed. I really hope they bring that sandwich back, as it was the reason I came to the restaurant. Edit (after owner response) The nature of a customer review is to express an opinion as a customer. I tried the chicken sandwich with bananas and it was NOT good and I highly doubt other people would find it better than your previous sandwich, in my opinion. I have the right to be upset that you took away the best sandwich when I've been a regular customer for five years. I'm not interested in a chicken bowl. I feel extra deceived because I spent a bunch of money in my last order and then received this banana chicken instead of my regular sandwich after paying for an entire meal. Since you removed this sandwich from your menu, I'm being honest that I don't have a reason to order from you any longer, which again need me very sad as a customer as I ordered the jerk chicken sandwich very regularly. I really hope that you bring it back. It was a mistake to take it off.

We went to the restaurant without any wait time. Food was good and fulfilling. The ingredients they used for the bowls were good as well. It would’ve had higher stars if they didn’t charge us from our intended tip of 18% to 20% without my authorization. It’s not about the money, it was just the fact that it was done without my knowledge until I went through my bank statements.

very good ... oat milk lattes. gem salad. good ... overall service. decor and ambiance. cleanliness. ok. ... cheese plate (if you are going to grill the gem lettuce maybe grill the out of season stone fruit as well) and anchovy plate (the spaniard in me was scanning the liquor shelves for a nice vermut to pair but alas no) not so good ... the overall lag time between drinks, another round of drinks and the food. mid afternoon visit btw. overall a 3.75 that could easily be a solid 4 ...

Went specifically for happy hour in their gorgeous back patio, but it was closed for a private event. Sat in the street shed, which was fine, but about 45 minutes before the end of happy hour, they'd become inundated with the backyard party & three 3 tables out front were left without a server for almost half an hour. Finally got service again after I went inside to remind them of our existence. Fries were good, crispy Brussels sprouts were pretty good, HH deals were good, but I probably won't go back. There are too many greats around to win out over any pretty good.

Great vibes, mediocre food, and terrible service The modern, clean, brightly lit space gave a nice buzzing vibe for a weekend brunch. But the food was forgettable - nothing wrong but not impressive. The chia bowl tasted bland, the vegetarian burger bun was stale, and the pastry was yummy but quite small. Our server Vinny was rude. When we were ordering, he rushed us and didn't answer any of our questions. I thought it was odd but noticed he had a bad attitude with other tables as well. So odd!

They scam, be careful. I thought I got 2 VODKA WATERS and 1 whipped ricotta with panini bread, equals to 73usd. They were not straight forward with neither the prices nor the description of the items when I asked about them. When I asked for the bill, they gave me something that included 3 drinks for 17 usd each and a meal, altogether being 52usd that then got somehow blown into 72. Wild wild wild shit. Honestly I want a refund. AND THE RICOTTA WAS CREAM CHEESE!!!!! I am so outraged yall 😭

I hate to write this but we just had dinner here, trying a variety of small plates, and it was some of the worst food I have ever had not just in the city. Literally every plate was bad, really bad. Some tasteless some really terrible. Spanish anchovies would offend a Spanish person, they were just anchovies out of a cheap can served with lots of terrible bread and some butter. Same it goes with the Spanish tortilla, which we literally left. The beet hummus inedible to say the least, tasted like dirt. Also that we could barley eat. Everything else quite equally bad. It’s sad as they have a really nice backyard. But would never recommend this place for anything else other than probably drinks. * Update: I was actually sick all night after eating here, avoid this place!

Ordered takeout and they called me back to say they had a private event happening and could not fulfill the order. That’s fine, but I could not cancel the order myself because I ordered online instead of via an app. Instead of helping they were very rude and continued to insist I could cancel the order myself, and if I was inconveniencing them by trying out their restaurant in the hopes of becoming a frequent customer. I’ll never return!
