Avaliações de Beer Street South Brooklyn
One of the best bars in Brooklyn - great Indian-style street food on weekends. The beer list is almost unrivalled in the city and the decor and vibe is classy and comfortable - a great place for a date or to hang out with your friends
Love this spacious beer bar which also provides a fantastic cocktail list! You can come here with a group and enjoy the nice variety of beer and take in the ambience. In addition, the staff here were extremely friendly and receptive. That goes a long way. Pro-tip: This is a great place to stop by before or after dinner since there are many restaurants in the area.
Beer Street South offers a delightful experience. Its outdoor seating area, with a view of the street, creates a perfect setting to relax and savor our drinks. The staff is not only friendly but also exudes a trendy, hipster-like vibe, adding a touch of coolness to the atmosphere. The charming brass interior decor gives the place a unique character, and their drink selection is truly impressive. It's an ideal spot for a leisurely chat with friends, providing a serene ambiance for good conversations.
This has what to me is the bar trifecta: amazing selection (both in breadth and quality), menu listed on Untappd, and offers small pours. Also thanks to the bartender for the good conversation, and when I closed out he surprised me by saying he covered my last drink.
They were playing late 90/ early 2000s jazzy boom bap hip hop. It was rustic yet urban. Lots of brass and and wood fittings and furnishings. Except for one wobbly table, great place to be.
Absolutely love this bar. They constantly rotate their taps and have great local beers, not to mention the great vibe. It's the perfect place to grab a beer on a Saturday night, Sunday afternoon, or weekday after work. If you're a fan of high quality beer, a visit to Beer Street South is a must.
Awesome place! This is exactly what Prospect Heights has needed. Very casual atmosphere with chill lo-fi and instrumental music playing. All the beers and wine are sourced from NYC breweries, and I saw that draft cocktails are coming soon. All in all, super happy to see Beer Street South opened and adding to the eccentric fabric of Vanderbilt. Edit: It's been a year and this place is still my favorite. Their prices and draft list are seriously incredible.
Friendly bartender and great beer selections. I think they don’t serve food so bring some if u can. (I saw few people brought some snacks) Plenty seats available for groups!

Great place to hang out in the afternoon with friends, especially if you have a big group or young kids in strollers! We got there at 2pm Saturday and there was only one party of 8 there. By 4pm every table was full and people were waiting for spots. If you want a table you should plan to arrive by 3ish. There is no food but you can bring food from outside places ( there is a great pizza restaurant across the street ). Also they don’t give out samplers - bummer!! Very awesome and tasty collab with Threes brewing and a kombucha company (Yesfolk) to make an oolong flavored beer. So good!

Friendly bartender and great beer selections. I think they don’t serve food so bring some if u can. (I saw few people brought some snacks) Plenty seats available for groups!
Gotta say this place truly delivers as a beer bar. Fantastic selection. Many diff varieties. I like sours, they always have like 4. And always classy ones. Now vibe. Vibe is sick. Day or night it’s got a good vibe. Music is totally on point. Large windows for people / street watching. Mad room space to host parties and or do business meeting with beer type sits. Do not sleep.
Very nice bar. Big, lots of room for groups. Nice selection of beer, wine, and signature cocktails on tap, plus a full bar besides. Food is Indian chaat, but didn't try any so cannot comment on food.
I love Beer Street South!!! The customer service is excellent, the drinks are amazing, and the vibe is great. I highly recommend everyone in new york or out of town to come check them out.
Nice spacious bar with great selection of brews and ciders on tap + some tap cocktails and a full spirit offering to make any drink you’d like. The old Fashion they made me was top tier. Nice projectors to play sports or other events.
This place has great, chill vibes! Everyone who works there is friendly and the beer list is super varied & expansive. (Cocktails and GF drinks too) I love the large windows and the lighting is good for reading during the day. There’s usually lots of available seating (but never not too empty!)

Great atmosphere—relaxed and thoughtfully designed. The bar itself is really nice, and both bartenders were welcoming and nice to talk to. I had a pilsner and a lager, both of which were well-crafted and hit the mark. One thing that threw me off: they don’t offer samples before you commit to a full pour. That’s pretty unusual for a beer-focused spot and felt a bit off for the beer scene. It’s not a dealbreaker, but worth noting for first-timers. Overall: good beer, great vibe, friendly staff. I’ll definitely be back.
This is a nice place to come with a group or even a quick date. They have a great beer selection as well as good ciders on draft. Great service and very clean bathrooms. I can’t wait to come back here and show some of my beer loving friends!
Great choice of beers, spirits and wine, a real all-rounders. Even the so-called 'mandated' food is actually very tasty that makes you actually want more! Very polite staff, and cool dècor.

Nice vibe for a happy hour, expansive beer and wine list. Lots of seating, indoor and outdoor. Food was ok but you can buy from restaurants nearby and bring in with you. Would've earned a 5 if the server had let me taste one of the beers I asked about (I was told I could buy a 4 oz pour). Never visited a bar that doesn't accommodate a taste, but otherwise would visit again.
Nice neighborhood place. Always clean and lots of space. There's a large selection of beers and a fun looking cocktail menu. The cocktails are okay, but overpriced for the location.

Been going here on and off for years, and it's consistently... weird. I keep holding out hope it'll improve because the location is convenient for me, but they consistently run out of the lower priced beers on the menu after they serve one to you, at which point they try to upsell you on the more expensive beers. And often the menu has listed the "wrong price" or an "old price" and therefore you are overcharged (check your bill), and they're subtly passive aggressive and sometimes outright rude when this is brought to their attention. This isn't a one-time occurrence, but a pattern of behavior spanning years and various bartenders. Therefore I'm convinced all of this isn't an honest accident or coincidence, but part of their business strategy, which is, as I said earlier, weird.
I went to this bar to watch the Euro 2024 finals champion match and I am genuinely confused why they promoted the game on their social media. I’m not sure why this bar was promoting the game when they do not have TV screens and you can barely see the game from the projectors due to the sun that beams through the large windows (photo for reference). Knowing that the game would bring in a lot of traffic, there was only 1 bartender working and a bus boy. The service was horrible. There were at least 100 customers there and everyone needed to make a long line in order to get a drink. Aside from that, they allow young children and pets inside which I’m surprised since this is a bar and not a restaurant. I don’t know why there isn’t any proper staffing here, considering this bar has been on Vanderbilt for 4 years. I hope they improve as they have a great space and potential to bring in a lot of customers, but this seems to be a recurring issue each time I’ve come these past 3 years.
