Ordered takeout which was delivered quickly. The mirchi curry with lamb was delicious- good portion and the lamb was so tender. Also loved their saag. The gobi Manchurian was very flavorful but the breading didnt hold up great to delivery. It would be perfect if eaten there.

Shrimp masala was cooked perfectly, and naan was soft and buttery. What stood out most was way staff checked in just enough to make sure everything was good without hovering. Thoughtful touches like this make visit memorable.

Not sure why this place has less than 5 star.. portions- BEEFY! Even if you don’t get beef. I got a chicken curry dish recommended by the cashier and was pleasantly surprised by the serving size. The food came out within minutes of ordering, and the staff was kind and attentive. The ambience seems traditional, I went during the daytime, so there wasn’t too many people inside.

I had things to do in the area. I parked right next to the place when I finished, my daughter asked me to eat here. We love Indian food but certain area not all of it. They have to go plate, the food unbelievable she ordered chicken tikka masala so delicious I pick up for myself the vegetarian plate spinach with cheese,yellow lentil,and cauliflower on rice. Everything was perfect. Portion huge I couldn’t finished with mine…we get in the lunch special price was more then affordable.See you guys soon!

Did dinner around 7:30 PM as a party of two and there was only one other occupied table. We had their two-course special, which included one appetizer and the main (came with bread too). 🥘 Got vege samosas, lamb tikka masala served with basmati rice, and something with chicken and spinach? Bread of choice was the garlic naan. Everything was hot, flavorful, and delicious. 🛎️ Service was just ok. There were many takeouts while we were there, so that speaks to quality.

We went their to grab some snacks. It was amazing. The foods the have are very delicious and fresh. The place is neat and clean. Stuffs are very friendly.

The food was great! We had the butter chicken and was very delicious, the rice and naan were also amazing. For an appetizer we had chicken and was blown away. The service was not great, the automatic tip was not amazing (granted I usually give 18% regardless but I prefer to put it myself). The staff didn’t really care much nor cared to elaborate on anything when asked. The mango lassi is to die for btw! I would ask management to retrain their employees for customer service cuz I would get the food here just not dine in.

Good food here. I got the shrimp curry and it was quite tasty. I did think it was a little bit pricey considering the amount of shrimp they give you. The flavors were very good and not too salty. I would come back and try another dish.

Not sure what happened this time. I've purchased the garlic naan for years whenever i'm downtown brooklyn. Yesterday, my while I was enjoying the beautiful waterfront of the Brooklyn Promenades, my daughter called and asked that I purchase a few for her. I obliged, orderd 3 galic naan's. I was initally advised it'll take about 10 minutes but it came out faster. I was thrilled, until I got home and opened the order. The naans were burnt, the garlic burnt. I'm not sure that happened but my daughter and myself was not happy. I'll give a second chance whenever i'm back downtown, since this is the first occurrence. I hope I won't be disappointed next time.

2.28.23 - We didn't go for the lunch specials, which I think would have been better bang for the buck. I like their Tarka Dal, but I like the smokier version better. We also had goat curry, which was flavorful and had a good amount of meat.

This restaurant is very close the metrotech center and NYU university. The taste was just ok, not soo impressive. Samosas were good but the biryani was average. The veg biryani and chicken biryani were in curry style, not like dum biryani. Can try it once if you are near brooklyn bridge and wanted to try indian. Ambience was just OK!

My kid brother came from out of state & we went in Manhattan. It was almost 90 degrees, we were so tired & feeling hungry. So I googled & try to find a desi halal restaurant to eat. When I went inside only thing I liked was the paintings on the wall. The decor was kinda dull, maybe the business isn’t good. But they definitely need to renovate & redecorate the restaurant. I was too tired to leave & try another restaurant! Do decided to eat anyway. The price was high & the taste wasn’t close at all. Me & my brother couldn’t even finish our one chicken biryani. I had to bring the other chicken biryani it home. The chicken loly pop was ok. Only thing I liked is the lady who served us. Really nice & helpful. I appreciated her service a lot. Even my kid brother also gave her tip. I hope rest of the food is better then what we tasted. Feeling real bad saying all this, maybe others will like it. For an Indian Halal restaurant, there was not much flavor. Probably the Chef will hate me after this, maybe I should remove my pictures from the review😷But it is what it is! I was dissatisfied! My brother did mentioned that he liked the mango lassi. That’s a plus point🙏

I’ve visited this restaurant twice since it’s close to my college, but my experience hasn’t been good. The first time, the food was okay, though the air conditioning wasn’t working and the place felt disorganized I decided to give them another chance thinking maybe it was just a bad day. Unfortunately, my second visit was even worse. The food quality had gone down a lot I got a really bad stomach ache afterward, and the naan tasted like it was frozen and reheated. For the prices they charge, the taste and freshness just don’t match up. The restaurant was uncomfortably hot again, and there was a strange smell inside that made it hard to enjoy the meal. Overall, I’d only recommend going here if you can’t find any other nearby option.

We were a group of 4 who went for lunch. The food was unfortunately disappointing and not worth the price. On top of that, the restaurant added an 18% gratuity to our bill without informing us. While the menu mentioned that gratuity would be applied, it did not specify for how many people it would apply — which is very misleading. Typically, automatic gratuity is reserved for larger groups (like 6 or more), so this felt unfair and not transparent. For the quality of food and service we received, we did not feel this was justified. Clear communication and fair billing are important.

Not authentic! Shocking that it’s more than 4 stars. Food was very disappointing. The paneer tikka masala tasted like paneer with tomato sauce from pasta. They add 18% gratuity automatically and add 3% on top of that if you pay by card. They don’t tell you this ahead of time.
