This is my FAVORITE restaurant to order from. It's been the best takeout since prior to and throughout the pandemic. It always arrives on time, the food is always hot, and I've never had any issues. Portion sizes are wonderful for the price and the quality of the food is incredible. My go-tos are the Green Curry, Roti, Kao Soy and Kratiem. The food to me feels and tastes like it was made with love.

We typical get delivery and once in a while pickup. The service is pretty consistent and when there was an issue with our order they made it right. The delivery guys are prompt and courtesy (especially Juan). The pad thai is pretty good, but my new favorite is the massaman curry.

Best Thai spot in the neighborhood. Always my go to after a really long day. I’m surprised that it never seems to get too busy, but personally I see that as a good thing. Everyone who works here is really kind and the food is consistently delicious. Gotta give props to any business that can hold on so long on this block. I’ve seen em come and go over the years, but there’s a reason Dannee is holding on. Also, their delivery is extremely fast!

Came here once, it was great food. Nice prices, very nice ppl I called ahead so they didn't close the kitchen until I got there and ordered. They dont have their liquor license but I was able to bring my own bottle so that was a plus.

My fiancé and I were in the neighborhood and we saw the great reviews and decided to stop by and dine in. Great service with a smile too! We had the duck wrap as an appetizer which was delicious. I thought about ordering another but we had to save room for the crab fried rice and Pad Thai. The crab fried rice was very balanced and definitely lives up to the restaurant hype. Especially with their spicy fish sauce! The Pad Thai was good as well but my fiancé wasn’t over the moon about it but for the value it hit the spot. We will definitely be returning and recommend this place to anyone looking for great Thai food. Looking forward to trying other items on the menu.

Okay, this place took me by surprise. So good!!! Like real, authentic Thai food, super rare find! The waitress is also nice and friendly, the environment is quiet and comfortable for a night out. Thai fried rice = the superstar of the show. Like REAL good thai fried rice. 10/10. Green curry is also pretty decent, as well as the drunken noodles, but the Thai fried rice stole the spotlight.

This is one of my absolute favorite Thai restaurants. You get authentic Thai food that is prepared perfectly every time. What makes this place even more of a gem is that they have excellent customer service. Staff are always warm and friendly. My favorite dishes so far, **Drunken Noodle w/shrimp, Basil Fried Rice, Pineapple fried rice, Crab Fried Rice, **shrimp roll, Fried Banana Cheese Cake w/ice cream. Oh, and their Chai Ice Tea is just delicious! I love Dannee Thai!

This is our go-to delivery place. It's very good and quick. Lots of good entrees. Spring rolls are good. Calamari is very good. Prices are good. Never disappointed. Food is always still hot. i love thai food, esp basil fried rice, and ordered from here because of the other reviews saying that the fried rice was really good. happy to say that the positive reviews were right! i live nearby and the delivery came in around 30min, quicker than the estimated time on the delivery site. i've tried a ton of other thai restaurants in the area and this is my favorite place for fried rice right now- it has more seasoning than the rice at other restaurants that i've been to. only thing i would do different next time is ask for extra spicy since the regular food is not super hot, but that's my personal taste. prices are a little high but very reasonable, especially since it's by pratt, and i saw that they have some dishes like khao soi on the menu that other thai spots nearby are missing. would definitely come back and i recommend this place!

The food here is BOMB. I had the pad Thai with tofu. It was flavorful with a slight sweetness. The portions were big and filling enough to either eat it all or take the rest home. I can't wait to come back here.

i had a meeting with my friend who studies at Pratt Institute. She recommended that i try Danee Thai. This was my first time dining here and i really enjoyed it. The food tasted great and i especially liked Pad See-ew. I asked them to make it spicy for me. This restaurant will definitely be our meeting spot next time.

Cozy little place with reasonably priced menu and lunch specials. The grilled squid was unique and very good. Sauce is spicy with chopped jalapenos. Got the green curry with mock duck, which is probably gluten. The creamy seafood tom yum soup with noodles was also really tasty.

I am so happy I finally had a chance to order delivery from this spot. Sooooo good, reliable, and consistent. They also have their own online ordering- highly recommend this! No complaints. (Well just a tiny one- order dish with peanut sauce and chicken- unfortunately, the chicken was rubbery and unchewable. I honestly think this was an accident, because everything else we ordered were perfect!!!! The dish even looked superb, but something went wrong.) Although that happened the very first time we ordered from Daannee, we keep going back! My family loves this place!

Really tasty Thai food with generous sized portions and excellent service. I’ve been to Thailand many many times and this place is pretty damn close to what you find there. Green curry and drunken noodle is strongly recommended.

I got the green curry with tofo, tom kha soup and mango sticky rice.. Everything was great except for the mango sticky rice.. I’ve traveled to Thailand before so I know the way it’s supposed to be made.. They didn’t put any coconut milk in their sticky rice, that’s one of the reasons why I bought the dessert, because i love the rich taste of coconut milk.. Instead of serving peanuts with it, put coconut milk in the rice to give it that authentic taste..

Most authentic Thai food I have had in the US. I have bee to Thailand 30 times and love the food. Most places here manage to mess it up, often making it too sweet. Dannee makes it right. Essentially love their red curry, spring rolls, and drunken noodles.

Bro... Not bell peppers in the Tom Yum pls 😰 It's not inedible... I still finished but honestly it doesn't go well with the soup... Pad see ew is good tho.

Waited a long time for a drink while they prepared my takeout order. The bartender did not say anything to me and made the drink and walked away. The waiter/server was super nice and apologized for the service.The food is good and nice to go in person to pick up my order.

Had green curry lunch with squid. It was enjoyable. A tiny bit spicy that I was mildly sweeting -- maybe also it was just being a hot day 😄 the spring roll wasn't as I had expected though. Was expecting it to be the fresh kind not the fried one. And it was just alright. Service was great. The young woman was always smiling and extra polite, for example, placing extra napkins on the table with both hands and with a light bow. I don't think that's a Thai culture thing, right, and it's just this restaurant? 😄

A very lovely restaurant in Brooklyn. The decor here is cool. Decorated with old album covers of vintage jazz and seventies R&B. The green curry was a bit too rich for me but everything else was great. Great prices, great service. They have a huge takeout business as well. Nonstop couriers here.

Takeout review: pad Thai is really good. I’m very particular but this was perfectly saucy, not too sweet. Lychee iced tea was good but kind of small off price, but liked that it came with 2 fresh lychee. Fast delivery, good packaging.

The chicken satay was perfectly grilled and balanced with chopped veggies. The pad see ew was excellent. Noodle was cooked perfectly and well stirred with the sauce. Shrimp was grilled well. I tried another pad see ew. It came out 5 times saltier than the previous one. I guess the quality of food is not very consistent, which is very important for me. Hence I lowered the rating from 5 to 3. Don't except a 5 star service.

I ordered the Pad Kee Mao w/Shrimp, Pineapple Fried Rice & Lychee Thai Iced Tea. The only thing I was super disappointed with was the pineapple fried rice... It had no flavor at all. It tasted like someone just steamed everything and then just threw it all together on the plate... No seasoning, no melding flavors, nothing. ☹️

First of all the prices have gone up at Danee Thai. The dishes are good when they are made as described. I ordered curry fried rice with shrimp and it is different than the last time I ordered it. I did not like it and it was $13. This was not a value at all, and had very little taste of curry. Also there were very few vegetables and not many green beans in the dish as before when I had it. This is not good. This happens on a few dishes here. They either leave out an ingredient or it appears that they do not have it, as in that ingredient is unavailable. Hopefully these kinds of issues do not remain chronic or otherwise I may seek out other options nearby for the same type of cuisine; especially at $13.

I usually eat from here but tonight the food was not good. Too much carrots and the flavors were off. Maybe next time.

Delivery. Papaya salad was far from authentic, seriously disappointing. Duck roti bun was fine but mostly just hoisin flavor.

I called to pick up and asked specifically for no egg in the pad Thai and the guy on the phone assured me no egg and then when I got home low and behold, there was a ton of egg bits that were way to small to pick out :( when customers ask you to remove things for dietary or allergy restrictions it’s so important for business to respect the request especially when you confirm it’s ok!

The food tasted good, but the noodle dishes were basically nothing but noodles. Zero vegetables and very little meat in the pad thai. It was a ripoff. Please don’t skimp your customers.

I picked up an order of Drunken noodles with shrimp. I paid $2 extra for shrimp and it came with 3 pieces 🤨. I also walked in the restaurant and the floor was so sticky and gross. When I called the restaurant to see if that’s the amount of shrimp it usually comes with, I was hung up on a couple of times. Im not sure if it’s their service or what, but I was just not pleased with this whole experience

Either the cook changed or was having a bad day because I normally like this place. My stir-fry came out in 4 minutes after I ordered for pick-up delivery, should have been suspicious! When I opened it at home, it was filled with water and the cabbage wasn't cooked at all.

Ran into this local eatery while running errands. Atmosphere was nice. The a/c was out at the time, however we sat near the front window and it was fine. Appetizers were good (ordered the spring rolls and the volcano chicken). The main entrees were ok at best (ordered the chicken pad thai and shrimp & veggie pad kee mao). When asked how the food was, my guest didn't like theirs and was subsequently asked if they wanted a box 😐😑😐. We took it and gave to someone who was hungry. Definitely wouldn't go back there.

The pork pad Thai is just chicken, even if you taste the chicken and KKOW what chicken looks like they’ll say you’re wrong. First and last time dining here honestly.

After calling soo many times they finally picked up my call and promised me that the food will get to me by 3pm which was already super late. I have been eating at this place for 3 months now on Thursday and Sundays after work. I have always heard about this rude sassy waiter and never had the pleasure of meeting him until today! He was rude from the door when I entered I said table for 2 and my son hadn't arrived yet so he rolled his eyes and let out a sigh like he was irritated. Today was the first day that I had the worst experience with them. I ordered the same meal that I always do. Mussels with vegetables and a small bowl of white rice. Today it was globs of the seasoning not mixed in, so I asked the waiter could he perhaps ask them to mix it more and add some water to it the seasoning was very salty, unbearable to eat! He was clearly upset and took the plate back, came back with a smaller portion and barely any veggies left on the plate. So I asked him what happened why is it different, he begins to yell at me "What is wrong now! What is the matter with the food now!!! I said well the portion is smaller all I took off the plate was a small piece of broccoli. He said "it's the same food I put it back in the pan and cooked it some more"!! So now what's the problem. I was so confused and irritated I just started to cry! I could not believe the service today. In my neighborhood no one really eats there and now I see why! I have heard the stories so I've always stayed away and it's always empty 90% of the time and I see why now! Today the food was nasty and so was the service! I won't recommend the place to any one after today! I overlooked the obvious! One table in the back with coats and boxes all over it just messy and not good for the ambiance! It takes away from everything along with the bad food and horrible service. They went from a grade A to a grade F !

Got takeout and was appalled by the terrible quality of food. Got the green curry fried rice and the tom yum soup. The soul tasted like heated up water and the rice dish tasted like nothing. There was absolutely no taste or flavor - and I even requested medium spicy. Attempted to call the restaurant to resolve this but nobody picked up. I called several times that same day but there was nobody dining at the restaurant when I went so I was dubious about how busy they were. When I finally reached someone days later, they told me to contact the online ordering system to initiate a refund. Yet when I did that, the liaison from the food app said the restaurant refused to refund. So food is bad, they won’t pick up the phone, buckpass me to another group to handle issues, and then refuse to refund or compensate? Not a surprise why there wasn’t a single customer when I visited the restaurant…

If you like a Chinese restaurant attempting Thai then this is the place for you. BEWARE THIS IS NOT AUTHENTIC THAI. Go to “Beds Thai” a few blocks away for the real deal. This is sub par!!!!! Once I realized it was a Chinese spot, I caved and got the crab Rangoon. Very strange pairing of a mayonnaise sauce with the cream cheese…had to request a non dairy sauce. The Larb gai salad wasn’t a salad. It was served hot and the lowest quality chicken you can imagine. The taste was completely OFF. Not happy. I should have known….It’s 7:45pm and I’m the only person here. Never again.
