This place was so lovely. The food tasted fresh and delicious and the music was such a chill, relax vibe. The staff was friendly, helpful, and very patient. There were options for Thai food and Japanese food which meant a beautiful variety of options for dishes. The hot sake hit the spot on a cold day, too. Will certainly eat here often.
Ordered out, have never been here but found the food fantastic! the appetizers dumplings and also the octopus were outstanding! really happy with the great quality and flavor and also the presentation even though it was in take out containers was really nice! it also stay hot for at least 30 minutes, as i waiting for my friend. We also split the ramen: excellent broth! Overall a great dinner on a rainy night and we did not have to wait very long! For sure will order again or make a visit.
Absolutely amazing food. I’ve been all over the world eating, Gai Pad Gai Krapow (kha pow) and this dish is done to perfection at Docks. Thanks for the great food.
Good food Fast service Lot of options to choose from. The Thai basil fried rice is amazing. So is the shrimp bahn mi. I always get the Thai ice tea here. Coz it’s delish. Good Thai spot in the area. Good ambiance.
the food came out so fast, good prices, and the pad see ew was sooo yum
My absolute fave pre-rave eats . Off the Jefferson stop on the L where most of the night scene converge for us ravers! I always order the agadashi Tofu.
I've been to Dock many times which is why it's strange I'm just now leaving a review. I think I always plan on doing so but the food looks to good and I devour it before snapping a picture. The truth is Dock has a wide range of asian foods all of which are good enough to scratch any itch. However the tonkotsu ramen and spicy miso ramen are unmatched on their menu. They hold there own even against other ramen shops in the area (looking at you ichiran). I can't say much more about the menu because I always seem to go back to those two items. Anyway I'm sure you won't be disappointed with anything else on the menu.
Nice cozy place to have delicious food. Dimly lit with soft brazilian music playing in the background. For appetizers we had Tomyum Goong(chicken in coconut broth)and Age Takoyaki (grilled octopus puffs). Both were very tasty.Main meal was a delicious beef dish which came with a side of white rice. Wife had vegetable bowl which was also good. You need to order a blue mojito. So good. Moderate prices. Food arrived at table fast. Staff very courteous. They also have lunch specials. Will definitely be coming back.
I thought this would be one of those pretentious, overpriced BK spots; tg I was wrong. I had the spicy miso ramen. Although it wasn't very spicy, it was incredibly good. I'm usually not into pork broth, but this one was VERY good. The 2 slices of pork were cooked to melt in your mouth 👅 the egg was v delicious. The portion size couldn't be more perfect. The service was EXCELLENT also! Since Lucy's closed, we needed a neighborhood noodle spot 🙏🏼🙏🏼 UPDATE: 5⭐x2 Had ramen, chicken clear soup, and chiang mai noodle delivered. Three separate orders. I'll never order noodles from another place again. First of all, they know how to pack it. I've never had anything that travelled this well. Second, they delivered to my door, not the building door, at least 20 minutes early every time. Third, THIS IS THE BEST CHICKEN SOUP PERIOD and that's on period! I actually hate chicken but I'm sick and desperate. I would eat this every day omgg. They threw three eggs in my ramen 🙏🏼 the flavor is perfect and it looks beautiful. Please take all of my money.
This place is my comfort spot. It’s pan Asian cuisine largely based on Thai cuisine. Their pineapple fried rice is one of the best in the city, cooked with eggs and a protein of choice. The egg really elevates the flavor. I love their yakitori too, nicely roasted with just the right touch. Their curries are also very comforting and it’s a perfect dish for winter.
Thanks to Covid, we are trapped inside and getting bored of my cooking/limited fresh ingredients. Delivery from them is fast and awesome! The summer rolls are a gorgeous rainbow of fresh veggies, the Tom yum is flavorful and the tiger shrimp bahn mi is saucy and delicious. Super happy to have a place we can rely on for tasty delivery during the apocalypse.
The food at Dock is just simply amazing. The sheer amount of choices on their menu will make repeat customer. The Age Takoyaki here is so light and flavorful. It rivals Takoyaki that I have tried in other places here in the city. The crispy half duck was nice and juicy with the nice crispness of the skin that you would expect.
Nice spot for bahn mi and cocktails. Ended up here before going to a concert at a nearby concert venue. The bahn mix was good, the fries were addicting had to have two orders. Their spicy sauce and aioli are good with the fries. Their bar has an extensive selection of liquor. Will come back to try other things on the menu and when I’m in the area.
Dock Asian Eatery is incredibly tasty and serves a work of art that offers 3 distinct, authentic Asian cuisine's under one roof! Thai Cuisine, Ramen and Sushi/Japanese Cuisine ( In which we unfortunately didn't have the pleasure of eating because they only serve sushi on certain days so we will have to go back to do a sushi series) Hope you guys like the photos! Try Not To Drool- *TIPS* They have outdoor seating perfect for the summer days Their air-conditioning is fantastic Remember this is an authentic cuisine location so if you're not big on super spicy be sure to order a medium spicy They had my favorite plum wine! Big plus! Big selection in delicious food leaving you wanting to come back for more Great service! Instagram worthy
Top del RAMEN ToP around BushWick area folkssss! Totally recommend!!! Hang out area the area and then recharge the energies with Miso Ramen and beers! They are amazing! Top playerss!
This was our third time back at this lovely eatery. We arrived on a friday @ 7:30 to a 10 minute wait which was time easily served under the warm outdoor lit picnic tables. This time we had the spicy miso ramen (medium spice was perfect- got the nose running a bit!) and the spicy basil eggplant dish (mild and delicious. comes with rice skin is a bit thick/chewy but so good if you like eggplant. for drinks we had the red bull tropical tequila (GAME CHANGER) and the kiksui 10oz bottle of sake ($18) which was very sweet
I have enjoyed my experience. I will say the price and quality is exceptional. The flavor is from the heart. Satisfying and fulfilling, meets high standards.
Fun place! High ceilings, industrial vibe. When we went there was a party upstairs in the loft area so I suppose you can rent that space out. They were very loud but it was all happy noises so no one minded. I had the veggie ramen, which I liked but my partner thought tasted seaweedy. He had the Thai basil fried rice which was excellent according to both of us. There are several vegetarian options and plenty of meat options. Full bar. Decent prices. 2 entrees and 2 drinks came to about $70. Personally I would go back if I'm in the neighborhood again!
Tuesday night my friend and I were lost in Bushwick. Which I was very hungry! One of the good place to have Thai food in Brooklyn(but not only one). The vibe here is casual, like coming to a warehouse who's really a good cook. The dining hall could get a bit loud as its always a full house. Dining table and chair are not the most comfortable but the food here make up for why you should still be here. All the dishes that we had are perfectly done. Some are similar to the dishes(Padcha Seafood ) you had but they make it so much better with little twist here and there. Good chef and friendly service. I will definitely be back soon!!!
Fresh, flavorful food. The pad Thai and fried calamari were excellent. Just the right size. But the Chiang Mai noodles were a disappointment even though it was labeled highly rated on the menu. The chicken was tough as a rock. If I made that at home I would throw it out. It was stodgy with the two types of noodles.
You might easily miss Dock Asian Eatery as its entrance blends in with the street, but inside, you'll find a two-story, nicely-decorated place to chill. They offer a variety of food choices—definitely worth trying. The service is attentive and friendly, adding to the overall positive experience.
Food service was extremely fast and the staff were friendly too. The ambience was great. Food flavors were sweet and heavy compared to what we were used too but still delicious. Drinks were great too. We had the roasted duck, chicken rice, chicken satay and pork bun, Blue Thai and lychee alcoholic drinks and another Thai iced drink.
Food was great. Service was great. We order duck curry (bottom pic) seafood mix (top pic) and for appetizers we had calamari and something with mushrooms lol. I forgot the name if the dush. It was a Monday afternoon. Not busy at that time, seated right away. We spent about an hour there. I would return.
Tom yum noodle soup was without any flavor. I asked for chili sauce, they charged $1 & it tasted like condensed tomato soup. The prices on the menu are covered up. This place only exists to be photographed for its trendy interior. Honestly please don’t even serve food if you only care about your decor. That is the worst bowl of soup I’ve had in a long time. 5 stars because I’m not mean
The food&atmosphere here are on point! As Thai people I could recommend for authentic taste from this place especially the Chiang Mai noodles really tasteful and come with good portion, the service is also great the server here are attentive and provide me a great experience definitely coming back
All I have to say is WOW. I went to this place for my birthday since I’ve always wanted to try Ramen that wasn’t from a pack or cup, lol! And this place beat all expectations. I enjoyed this place so much that I went back four days later for the same thing! I had their miso ramen and pork bun. My husband had a curry noodle dish and the shrimp and chicken bun. The chicken bun was very saucy, and took away from the entire appetizer. Other than that, the food was amazing and the prices are very reasonable.
The pad see eiw and pad thai dishes were out of this world!!! So incredibly flavorful and filling. First time I ever left a clean bowl at the end of my meal. They have a great lunch deal
GOOD EATS!!! Went with a friend on a Sunday night, fairly empty so we got sat down immediately. We ordered shrimp summer rolls and the shredded beets added a nice refreshing taste, but the standouts were the sauces that accompanied. The peanut sauce is a great mixture of sweet and savory (leaning a little more sweet). The other sauce is slightly tangy and savory. I ordered the Thai iced tea which has to be one of the best I’ve had so far, it seemed to have a cinnamon or other spice that gave it a nice kick and it wasn’t overly sweet. My favorite by far is the pork bahn mi, the pork was juicy and flavorful, with sliced jalapeño peppers sprinkled in for a nice spicy surprise and a good spread of chipotle mayo to top it all of. Our food and beverages came out relatively quickly and the quality didn’t seem to drop because of that. Will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu!! 💓💓💓💓 (Didn’t take any pictures because we were hungry and the food was just THAT good, we couldn’t put it down!!)
The staff at Dock Asian Eatery is friendly and knowledgeable, always willing to offer recommendations or adjust the spice levels to suit your preferences. They’re attentive without being overbearing, and the service flows smoothly from start to finish. If you’re looking to pair your meal with a drink, the Thai iced tea is a great choice, balancing the rich sweetness of condensed milk with a hint of spiced tea. The dessert menu is worth exploring too
After a long day exploring Manhattan, this spot was exactly what we needed. We sat outside to enjoy the lovely weather, but the indoor seating was also nicely decorated with a great atmosphere. We ordered red curry with vegetables, spring rolls, and pho, all of which were delicious. Considering the price and generous portion sizes, it’s a great value and would definitely be my go-to Asian spot in East Williamsburg. The service was also excellent—our water glasses were never empty!
We stopped by Dock on a Saturday evening after a fun day at Prospect Park and oh my goodness, we were blown away! The decor was stunning and the food was absolutely delicious. We ordered two bowls of ramen and two drinks and let me tell you, it was a flavor explosion! Dock is definitely a must-visit spot for anyone looking for a tasty meal in a beautiful setting. Highly recommend!
It would be fair to gatekeep this amazing restaurant. As a well traveled foodie, I can assure you that this is an excelent choice to eat asian food. The price/quality ratio is on point. The food is delicious and the service is definitely better than 90% of NYC restaruants. I have gone out of my way to eat here and have taken many tourists friends. The green curry, the shrimp entrees, the spicy noodles, the pad thai, the matcha beer, the papaya salad, and the red curry are my best recommendations. In that order. 10/10 Hidden Gem. Highly recommend.
Loved this restaurant!! It is pretty hard to impress me with Asian food, but the Dock Asian Eatery was amazing! We had pad thai, summer rolls, gyoza and peanut curry with rice and tofu (spicy!). Each dish was beautifully presented, tasted awesome and had great accompaniments. The cocktails were strong and we also had a sake bottle which tasted great, The waiters are very nice and helpful! Even though the restaurant was quite busy on a Saturday evening we did not have to wait to get a table. The best part about this restaurant is the number of vegetarian options they had! It is about 2 mins walk from the L subway line. I would highly recommend this restaurant and i hope I can go back and try other dishes soon!
We had mainly Thai dishes and it exceeded expectations. Very hip place, cool setting, great outdoor and indoor sitting area and yet very authentic flavors. Service was great and very reasonably priced too. The duck panang curry was my favorite. Crispy exterior, juicy meat accompanied with savoury and somewhat sweet sauce. The lychee on the sauce was a great touch!
This place is beautifully designed and best of all with the second floor dinning, it's pretty cool eating by the edge high up. There is no happy hour deal here but you can pre game across the street. I was early to meet friends here. The food here is amazing thou as well as their drink selection. I advice anyone to make a RSVP for this spot as they can fill up even on a weekday. Great place to meet and hear your friends as well as dating. Food is amazing. My Malaysian noodle dish taste authentic. The flavour hits how I expected. We shared a sushi platter. Roll and sushi are masterfully made and the quality is way above the cheap sushi you find in your local Japanese restaurant. Sorry I paid too much attention to my dish and good company, i totally ignore my friends food. They looked like they enjoy them. I was surprised when my friend told me this spot has three of the most popular Asian food.
Always a good meal here, consistent and delicious. Wish music was less stressful (loud pop). Try a milder approach to 'background music' for dining. This isn't a roller skating rink, it's a meal to share with friends and family.
Well decorated with a Manhattan-like vibe. Great selection of food and everything we ordered was delicious! A few things though... The seats are uncomfortable...think hard flat wood or iron, could use some cushions. Also the service is iffy. Went 2x, first time our appetizer didn’t come out and we had to ask to have it removed from the check. 2nd time, we both ordered a small soup to start but one came out first and the othe didnt come out till my husband was done with his. Also the server didn’t ask what temp we wanted the steak and it came out v rare. Would still come back though to try more of the menu!
Got dinner here solo and had a non alcoholic Mojito, the crispy duck buns, and karaage. I love karaage- it is a Japanese fried chicken and it is usually made with dark meat. It seemed like this version was white meat so it was drier rather than juicy which was a bummer. The crispy duck buns were rather good, with a good sauce on the meat and cucumbers for nice texture. Vibe is casual.
It’s a cool place with great food! For 3 of us our bill was about $105. We ordered 2 appetizers, a regular beverage, a large house sake and 3 main dishes. It wasn’t busy when we came but it picked up while we were there. There is indoor and outdoor seating. The music was great and was suitable for a Thursday evening. The look/decor of the place was pretty cool. Overall great vibe- not too dark but not overly bright! They have a good size menu with plenty of options. If your vegan/vegetarian options are limited. One star off because service could be a tad bit better. Like I said it wasn’t crowded when we came but our server seemed occupied. We had to look for the menu which is just a barcode on the wall by the table. I do feel like as the night went on our server got a bit more friendly/attentive so maybe he was really busy when we first got in. Our table was also closer to the door which was a bit annoying because we would get a gush of cold air every time someone came or left 😄. Not too big of a deal but just an fyi if that stuff bothers you! Also sadly not 1 dessert on the menu :/ Overall if I lived closer I would visit again as I think the price is great and the food was delicious!
Great decor and atmosphere, but mediocre food. The restaurant looks like a industrial container and is pretty cool. That's why we walked in. The staff were a bit distracted and disorganised even of it was early and not very full. On the menu they out chef names so I thought the food would be good, but it was very mediocre at best. After having lived in Asia for years maybe my standards are too high, but the food here was very bland. It was tasty, just nothing what special or exciting. A shame, of they improved on the food the place could be pretty amazing.
Great service. Good location. Okay food. The flavors are good and food is okay. After eating here we thought its good to try it out once but not sure if we'd return for the food. The ambiance is great. Plenty of seating inside and outside. The service is super. We were here late afternoon on a Sunday, the place was not packed and we were seated right away. Clean restaurant. Good presentation of the food. However, the food itself didn't hit all the notes for us. Prices are reasonable and drinks are reasonably priced as well. Would recommend it to try it out once and get your thoughts on the food
Pad Broccoli lunch special was disappointing enough that I had to take pics. For $13 the portion size isn't much. Barely any sauce. The tofu was incredibly bland, but there were only 6 bites of it anyway. No green in the salad, although dressing is flavorful at least. Overall will definitely not be getting lunch special here again, especially at dinner prices.
I can't recommend this place. Unfortunately, there were a lot of mishaps during our visit. I asked for a spicy miso ramen (medium spicy) but it came out extremely spicy and lukewarm. The presentation was nice, but the paste they put in the soup overpowered the miso and there was hardly any noodles to justify the price. I wanted to ask the waitress about my food but she disappeared after she handed us our food-no other service was given to us besides taking the order and delivering our food. She didn't appear again until we were way past finished. Not sure if this is just an employee shortage but we felt very left out compared to other customers. She also mistakenly charged only one of our cards. Overall, I wish I liked this place but the service and food was a dud.
The ramen was pretty flavorless but pretty looking. Also weird how they put gratuity on a restaurant meal for 3 people and the service was kinda iffy where they kind of forgot about us and we had to go seek them out. Feels like a bar first then restaurant. Post Owner response: To answer the time it was 11/23/2025 at around 5pm. However this is not just a me problem I distinctly remembering a lady waiting on her take-out needing to address the waiters to go seek her food. It did not look packed to the brim to have customers need to seek help in a restaurant. On top of this the restaurant does gratuity included in this kind of service. If you're short on staff on a Sunday then address this or hire more people because I feel robbed coming to this place when there is literally other restaurants around the corner charging less for more.
As soon as I sat, a roach crawled out from under the table. I jumped out of my seat and told the staff about it, whom didn’t pay no mind (so disrespectful). I rushed out of there and plan to never go back.
I don’t know what was wrong w the server. My boyfriend and I went here on Monday March 21 around 4:20-30 and we sat inside. We ordered the chicken karage, rice, edamame, ramen, a Shirley temple and a draft beer. The food was very good I’m not writing this review about the food it’s about the service. So the Total came out to 62.05 w tax. I left a tip of 7.95 I would have left ten or 12 dollars because I’m also a server and know how much tips mean to a server. But I didn’t because the second richer looking people came in he forgot all about us. We were waiting a while to even ask to get our check and when we did ask it took a while at that as well while he was there already at the pos system he still didn’t. After I paid with my cash app card (which requires me to add the money from my actual bank account ) I made sure I left $70 in total. After I signed and left the tip he looked straight at the tip and gave me a weird look. We left and everything was fine and then I woke up this morning and saw that it was telling me the total was changed from 70 to 73.45. Look I could care less about 3 dollars but my problem is that this money went to this mediocre server and his “service” . And that HE THOUGHT HE DESERVED MORE MONEY THAT WAS NOT HIS TO TAKE. When I called the restaurant I asked if there was a manager and he said no. (Same guy by the way) I said okay explained the situation and I don’t know if he genuinely didn’t understand or if he was just playing at the fact he didn’t understand. I also asked him when the manager will be in he says Monday. And said okay what time he says I don’t know and then after alittle back and forth he goes “we busy “ and hung up. So I called back and said I’m sorry? He said “no time to talk we busy” and hung up again. Honestly I would’ve come back but just when a different server was there but now I don’t even want to come back because what if this restaurants servers all feel entitled to a bigger tip then they deserve. I’m disappointed because my boyfriend use the rave about this place and the super great waitress that use to serve him and his uncle. The restaurant is pretty don’t get me wrong but the server is what killed it. Sad
Honestly the food was terrible it gave me a stomach ache. Calamari was unseasoned and the chicken satay ban mi sandwich was cold and stale like it was 2 days old.
Ordered chicken satay before going to a show close by. Pretty much gave me wooden sticks with a side of peanut sauce. Barely any chicken on any of the sticks. Wish I would’ve taken a pic because it was an absolute waste of money.
This was a while ago (almost 3 years ago so they may have improved since then) but their Thai satay bahn mi still haunts me to this day in that nothing about it was Thai or bahn mi besides the easy veggies part. They used a hero bread instead of a baguette and they used British curry powder instead of satay sauce. Service was good but this is the kind of Asian food I expect to find in the Midwest. Not NYC
