One of my favorite places for donuts. So much to choose from!! Love the creme brulee, coconut cream, vanilla bean and blackberry jam, you got to try the black and White, And the wild blueberry. They sell vegan options. They have gluten-free. You can pick up a bunch if you have a special event or occasion. They never miss. I definitely recommend!!
First Visit at Doughnut Plant and it was amazing. The cashier asked if I was a rewards member and suggested I download the app for a first time reward. That Coconut Cream donut was heavenly. It was light and the cream wasn't too sweet. Will definitely be making a return visit soon
I was at this location today buying a tres leches iced drink (just delicious!), the two employees working tonight were so kind and polite! I wish i had gotten their names, they took the time to explain the donuts and were so friendly. Customer service on point today!! Will definitely be back :)
I have only had good experiences. Every shop I have been to had friendly, informed staff. And for those of us who can only eat gluten free-delicious. One complaint: I wish their was more variety of the GF doughnuts.
I don’t like donuts in general but donut plant is the exception. Each donut is an exceptional creation. I love the festive donuts around the holidays too, they are a great hostess present to bring to a celebration or bring home for yourself. These donuts are unparalleled- I have tried flavors totally out of my comfort zone and still loved them… don’t sleep on this spot.
⸻ Hello, I hope it is alright to reach out to you like this. I am someone who discovered your donuts in Japan, and I have never been able to forget them since. Your donuts are no longer available here, but the memory of that one— the soft, cloud-light yeast dough, so delicate it gently wobbled in my hand, and the sweet–tart glaze that felt like a small light glowing in my chest… that heart-shaped donut— has stayed with me all this time. For me, it was never “just a donut.” On days when work was exhausting, on days when life felt a little heavy, your donut made the world feel kinder. That’s how special it was to me. I am writing this message for one simple reason: I want to taste that donut again—just once more. Of course, I completely understand the importance of protecting your recipes and proprietary information. Still, if there is any possibility— even the smallest hint or guidance that could help me try to recreate that donut at home, I would be deeply, deeply grateful. Even one sentence would mean so much to me. I would treasure it and do my best to get as close as I can to the flavor that meant so much to me. And I truly hope that one day, your donuts will return to Japan. With warmest regards, A fan whose days were brightened by your donuts.
Doughnut Plant on Flatbush never disappoints. I had the strawberry shortcake donut this time. It’s not quite a traditional donut, but it tastes amazing and totally satisfies the craving. The tres leches cold brew was smooth and just sweet enough. Service is always friendly and fast, even during busy hours. They were out of my favorite crème brûlée donut, which wasn’t a surprise since it was late in the day. These are hands down the best donuts in New York and quite possibly this side of Atlantic Ocean. They are the perfect size, which makes it easy to try a few different flavors in one visit. Other donut shops tend to make donuts that are just too big. I keep coming back whenever the donut craving hits. Highly recommend.
If you’re looking for the most delicious donuts stop here! Every donut is carefully crafted to perfection. The service was excellent! The staff was friendly patient and helpful and served us with a smile! 11/10 recommend this donut shop to satisfy all your sweet needs! We enjoyed the black and white donut, vanilla bean donut and vanilla bean with jam! Donuts available individually or in counts of 4 :)
Always an amazing experience when I visit ANY of the locations. The Doughnut-istas...lol make you feel so welcomed. They help you navigate through the multiple choices available. It's just great always. They have a few that are my ABSOLUTEL favorites. If you stop by you must try whatever the flavor of that time is. They make it in a glaze to cover there yeast doughnuts....ridiculous how damn delicious that is. There Tres Leche cake doughnut taste exactly like a piece of the cake. Beware the jelly filled doughnuts are square but all the more yummy.. then my to die for filled doughnut is there Creme Brule dough seed. The caramelize sugar on top like your actually eating the desert. Between that and their Rose Petal dough seed...I'm done.... hands down delicious. Whatever your taste They have a doughnut that will please the palette. Trust me when you go here....you won't EVER be Dunkin' anything else Krispy again...lmaoooo. I crack me up....
always a great spot, they make their donuts in Queens, and bring it over. every morning. we had the chest led Chase cake which was it looks limited edition and it had great flavors. also the yeast donut with a vanilla bean and jam and that was also straight, and had the chai latte which seemed very authentic and not too sweet. and everything in general was not too sweet but also sweet and great
Located in the prospect Heights section of Brooklyn between Bergen Street, Flatbush and 6th Avenues, sits a cool triangular shaped Renaissance Revival building (similar to the wedge shaped Flatiron Building) where Doughnut Plant decided to set up shop. My husband was working in the area and decided to try some doughnuts, his pleasant experience is what brought us back to try more creations. From the moment you step inside, you feel the inviting atmosphere as you explore their enticing offerings, staff members, and even patrons are courteous, “Good food makes people happy.” This charming bakery boasts a delightful array of unique doughnuts crafted with a commitment to wholesome, and healthy ingredients, moreover, the ambiance of the bakery is warm and inviting, with friendly staff who are passionate about their craft. We had the pleasure to meet Andres, he gave us some delicious recommendations! Their genuine enthusiasm for their products shines through, making the entire experience even more enjoyable. We tried their signature doughnut (CRÈME BRÛLÉE) and it reminds me of an Italian zeppole with a delicious crème filling and a crunchy caramelized top. One of the many highlights of this bakery is their emphasis on catering to various dietary preferences and restrictions. Whether you're vegan, gluten-free, or simply health-conscious, there's something for everyone here. Here’s what we brought home to try: MIXED BERRY Blend of fresh berries: strawberry, blackberry, raspberry & blueberry. Gluten free. YEAST SECTION: CRÈME BRÛLÉE. Our signature doughnut: filled with our own vanilla bean custard and individually torched to caramelize the sugar topping for a true brulee crunch. The Original Crème Brulee Doughnut. VANILLA BEAN Covered in a Madagascar vanilla bean glaze. For the traditionalists. SOURDOUGHNUTS DARK CHOCOLATE SOURDOUGHNUT Vegan | Dark Valrhona chocolate in the sourdough and glaze. VANILLA BEAN SOURDOUGHNUT classic Madagascar vanilla bean glaze on our 100% vegan sourdoughnut. CAKE: BROOKLYN BLACKOUT Rich chocolate cake doughnut dipped in Valrhona chocolate, with a chocolate pudding filling and then sprinkled with chocolate cake crumbs. Doughnut Plant's tribute to Brooklyn's Ebinger's bakery. WILD BLUEBERRY Full of Maine wild blueberries, in the dough and the glaze. Each bite is a symphony of flavors, carefully curated to satisfy any cravings.
Quite possibly the best donut I've ever had! We got the Peanut Butter and Jam and my gosh, after that firdt bite...we couldn't hold it in and devoured it. Perfectly soft inside and the blueberry matched incredibly well together with the peanut butter coating on the outside. I am most definitely coming back to try the other flavors of donuts!
My daughter tells me I have a problem since I ordered $60 on donuts. I will always have a doughnut Plant Problem. Deelish!!!

We normally pick up. The Dulce de leche and carrot donuts are incredible. Really like the cold brew as well.

I mean...it's not really a donut. I enjoyed it, but it was a spongy cake with a hole in it, and sometimes cream. It's too much -- there's too many things going on with chewy texture and extravagance and crustings, that's it's more like a stunt baker , and for the first time in maybe forever I couldnt finish a donut, it was too rich. On the upside, it made me miss quotidian donuts and even makes them seem healthy. On the other hand, even though I was intrigued by all the different flavors, I don't think I could stomach a return. It's like eating cotton candy crusted German chocolate cake. And too, I thought that it would be a sublime and quintessential donut experience because there was a cop car right outside, but it turns out the precinct house is to the rear of the building. Cool building, and design, and aesthetic -- of both building and doughnut cakes -- is well considered and designed, but it makes the donuts somewhat beside the point

I enjoy getting donuts from the shop on a regular basis. They are very tasty & never disappoint. Unfortunately the customer service is quite the opposite. The hospitality of the woman with dreads at the cash register is extremely poor, it’s as though she is rushing & dismissing you as if you are a bother. It’s donuts & coffee you are selling, so what’s with the negative dismissive bothersome energy. Uncalled for. No greeting, no “thank you”, even something as simple as “what can I get for you?”, makes a big difference, but the service I experienced was just a bland stare waiting for me to speak. So to the woman with the dreads, poor hospitality & attitude, maybe take a course on customer service or better yet don’t work at the cash register giving off bad energy to paying customers.
I was really excited to revisit Donut Plant after not visiting for a few years. The donuts looked fantastic and tasted even better. You can tell a lot of care goes into their creations. The flavors were rich, fresh, and def lived up to the hype. Unfortunately, the experience was brought down by the service. The cashier had a standoffish demeanor, barely spoke, and made it feel like we were bothering her just by asking questions. She slammed the bag of donuts on the counter without a word, and overall came across as cold, blah and unprofessional. It definitely took away from what could have been a great visit/ reintroduction to this place. So honestly, Great products but customer service matters just as much. I hope management takes note, because the donuts deserve better representation at the front counter. Idk maybe She was having a bad day 🤷🏾♀️

I had a terrible experience with Donut Planet and feel their customer service was completely unfair. I placed an order for donuts and paid almost $70. The website says you cannot change the date, which I fully understand — but I did not change my date. I simply arrived one day later to pick up my order because I was out of town. Even though the order was already paid for, they refused to give me my donuts and refused to offer any replacement or refund. I explained the situation clearly, but they still kept my money without providing the product I purchased. I feel this is very poor business practice. Any reasonable business would offer a replacement, store credit, or something—especially when the customer is only one day late due to travel. Instead, they chose to keep my $70 with nothing in return. Very disappointing, and I will not be ordering from Donut Planet again. In response to the message new I want to add that the information they are giving is simply not true. They absolutely could have replaced the order or offered any comparable donuts, and I would have been more than satisfied with that. Instead, they chose to keep nearly $70 of my money and give me nothing in return. I tried multiple times to work this out respectfully, yet they made no effort to resolve the situation or meet me halfway. Their customer service was dismissive, unhelpful, and completely unwilling to offer even a basic replacement. At this point, it feels like they stole my money and refused to provide the product I paid for. No customer should be treated this way.
