Some of the BEST Chinese food I have ever had (and I travel for work from city to city). I'm SO happy with my decision to order from here! The sesame chicken is SO good and the pork egg rolls are absolute perfection. Great value, too. You won't find better food at these prices. One more thing I'd like to add...when I called they were very polite and courteous so bonus points for their great customer service because that's hard to find nowadays.

The local chinese spot. Never have any issues, not sure where these negative reviews are coming from. I order on the reg and I'm always happy with my food and never have an issue with either of the owners. I was even short on cash one time and he let it slide on the honor system. Of course paid him back on my next visit and it was no problem.

Sceptical at first... Ordered the standard when trying something for the first time...chicken broccoli.! Omg it was absolutely amazing! So glad I stopped to try... Chicken was firm not soggy like some takeout places... Broccoli was crispy but cooked and amazing sauce... So glad!

someone on doordash recommended the singapore mei fun as the best they’ve ever had so i decided to order it today— and i have to agree a hundred times over. very generous portioning, flavorfully seasoned noodles with a kick of curry, crunchy stir fried veggies, and a heaping variety of bbq pork, shrimp, chicken, and imitation crab. the portion is so generous you could easily save half of this to enjoy later. but this was giving me so much unadulterated joy that i couldn’t stop myself. every piece of meat is perfectly cooked. the bbq pork has an unctuous mix of lean and fat. the shrimp is juicy. i have to give my biggest compliments to the chef: you are an artist of the highest order. it’s a sunny day in brooklyn today, and even though my paycheck says otherwise, for a moment, i feel like as though i am the richest person in williamsburg. thank you, east met west. never change.

Lo mein, chow fun and egg foo young are my favorite Chinese dishes, all of which are prepared here exactly to my liking. Love them, and I've been going here for years. A special shout out to the man (Owner? Manager?) behind the counter who remembers my extra tartar sauce (for the fried shrimp)and is, as someone said in an earlier review, kind. I'm a regular customer not just because of the food, but because it is a pleasure to give my business to someone I respect. Kudos to him and to his staff.

Probably the best take out Chinese restaurant in East Greenpoint and East Williamsburg. It's conveniently located off of the Graham L so easy to pick up on the way home. I think it's objectively good Chinese takeout. Never had a bad meal, prepared quickly and staff works hard and is kind.

(from a Chinese take out restaurant brat IYKYK) My parents place is in NJ and I live in Williamsburg now. Always looking for a place that ticks the boxes in taste. This is by far the best and most comparable to my parents restaurant. The 3-4 star Chinese restaurants are always the hole in the wall gems. If you’re here for the food and less decor and average service. Honestly I just only order take out/delivery/seamless. This is the place. If you know about Garden Kitchen on Grand that recently closed, this place would make you quite happy!! Go-tos - boneless spare ribs - chicken wings - shrimp lo mein - general or sesame chicken - shrimp rolls - beef and broccoli - shrimp and broccoli with garlic sauce I’ve just recently started ordering general tsos and was sooooo pleasantly surprised. Can’t wait to try general tso shrimp from here next time!!

Literally only have good experiences with this place. My family has been ordering from them since they were a different restaurant. We’ve spent countless amounts on money, but its always worth it. Food is so tasty, large amounts, and crazily cheap. They have my address on file when I call, and are always nice to me. Quick delivery time also, and the delivery people are always so kind. Cannot recommend this place more :)

I brought an egg roll today from East Met West . When I got back to work to eat it. It wasn't all the way done. He charged me 150 for each pork egg roll and not only it wasn't done it was very small. They food is good all depend on what you get. The other day I brought Shrimp with mix vegetable lunch special which they lunch specials went up a lot. They filled the whole pan with rice and a little bit of vegetable. The workers has very bad attitudes and speak to people rude. The other day my worker ask for Beef and Broccoli . When she came back to work she only had Broccoli and rice. They didn't give her the beef. I really like this place but they have to do better.

Went here as a recommendation. Ordered Gen Toas chicken, bonless ribs, fries with nuggets. Everything tasted old. Gen taos chicken was raw in the middle on the second piece i ate, boneless ribs was hard as a rock to point you can use it as a weapon to knock someone out. Fried rice was so clumpy it didnt wana come apart. Fries and nuggets were overcooked and fried beyond the moon. Egg role smelled expired and had a bone in it that i pulled out of my mouth attempting to eat this science experiment of chinese food. Wasted 32 dollors. By the way they only take cash. Place is cold, dark, and creepy inside. First and last ever for me going there.

The 2 $20 bills were crisp and stuck together. As he was closing the register, I immediately realized that i mistakenly gave him $40 and told him so. He ignored me and closed the register and then accused me, a long time, regular customer of trying to rob him. It was obvious he knew that he took the 2 $20s - he refused to count the register. He's rude and a thief. The food is not even that good. The only reason i was going there was because it is 1 block from where i live and i was being lazy. Its not worth it - there are other places with better food and better service who wont steal from you.
