Loved their chicken and honey pinapple lunch special. Never got a chance to eat in only had take out but staff was always really nice and the food looked good of the people that were eating there. I really hope they come back but as of right now but numbers are disconnected and the shutters are down.

I think the food here is good. I’ve had the food from Here pretty frequently. In my experience the staff is nice but some could be a bit nicer. However I have No complaints about the food. I enjoy the portion sizes and the taste. Definitely a good little low key spot to try out

It took me a long time to find a good Chinese food place but this place is great. Food is always good, fresh and hot. Delivery is so fast. Never waited more than 25 minutes. Highly recommend!

I've only eaten here twice. Both times the food was amazingly satisfying. The atmosphere was relatively peaceful. Great for concentrating on savoring the good meal. Friendly accommodating staff. I liked it. Prices were very affordable. They are not your regular N.Y. on the block fast food Chinese restaurant. They care serving your meal.

Delicious food at great prices. Some unusual dishes and all the normal favorites. Lovely people who run it. For a neighborhood chinese restauant you really can't do any better! Wonderful half lobster dishes at reasonable price but come early as they are gobbled up each day. Still great 11/2014.

An unassuming place but the food is really good. Mongolian beef is fantastic. Pupu platter is really good and they have inexpensive lobster when it's in season. The decor is kinda old but the food is totally worth it. It's also very modestly priced.

Had lunch there yesterday and none to my surprise the special is now $5.50 which included tea. Portions have always been generous. Dinner combo now starts at about $7.50. Soup prices to go are amazingly low. Service is agreeable. Only complaints are that wonton soup always seems to be served less than hot and that sitting up front so that you can see tv screen gets you annoyed with constant ringing of the phone for pickup and delivery. Still foray out to Hempstead Tpk in Levittown on weekends where complete buffet is no more than $8.95 for seniors.Visited Hunan about 3 weeks ago in mid October and none to my surprise lunch was raised to $6.00. Since no dining on premises we had to take out. For a good number of weeks they were stcompletely closed. Not only does food go cold on 25 minute trip home but you also do wiithout tea.. Never tried delivery and dont intend to. Asked about dining on premises and couldnt get a clear response. HdVisited again on May 6th and dining room stillthet closed, only takeout and delivery. Was disappoinstted. Trust they will have eatingprised in when covid restrictions are what I lifted. At. $6.00 for the lunch special it is one of the best deals in town.Havent been by in months ss cant be sure they are serving on the premises but my hunch is that they are not going to return to in house dining. For in restaurant dining try Avenue Z and Coney Island Avenue but be aware that the prices table menu for lunch and dinner have been raised. Look at the window menu first so you are not surprised. I told them last week what I thought about that practice.Havent been to Hunan in very old. A takeout lunch is now over $7.00.onths so the upper part of my review is months old. Lunch is overoue.Hunan national pp $7.00.price was right and cooking was good. Hunan is onlynl taike ou sonai no less businesses asian on y and CIA recommended. ..........

Food is fairly decent. However do not at all like how person taking order today repeated my entire card number out loud on his end plus my exp date and 3 numbers on the back. Plus, don't know why he even asked for the numbers on the back when woman takes my order on Fridays does not ask for that nor says numbers out loud. If my card gets compromised this is a very good reason as to why

Slightly above pricing . Dining indoor slightly below average . Large space . Somehat friendly staff. Nice area compared tonsurrounding communities . The free tea with dine in is a nice touch. Solid 3 stars and a half if I could give half stars .

We ordered chicken wings, shrimp mei fun beef and broccoli and chicken and broccoli but it’s not really worth for your money because wings were extremely over fried almost burnt and had no taste. Shrimp mei fun was tasteless and had barely couple of shrimp in it. Beef/chicken broccoli were mediocre but they gave one pack of rice for two orders wasn’t enough plus they put food in sauce (beef and chicken broccoli) into rice containers instead of regular containers when I came home after pick up sauce leaked on everywhere it was a mess! Definitely not recommended!!!

The worm was alive as well and just completely is the biggest turn off to any place that serves food especially when it's on your food. Such a shame.

Anyone can steal that information. Including the delivery person. Or if you throw your receipt in the trash, your credit card info out there for anyone to take. I called to complain, the lady said sorry but won't change the practice because they have been doing it for 40 years according to her. I had to replace my credit card and it was a mess. I think this is illegal practice because this restaurant may cause financial harm to consumer.

DELIVERY GUY IS SO UPSET BECAUSE I GAVE 1 DOLLAR TIP OVER A 15 DOLLAR ORDER, HE YELLED AT ME IN FRONT OF MY HOUSE, I ALREADY REPORTED IT .
