Delicious food and good wine selection. Good location too - if you’re nearby, definitely pop in. Saw families, first dates, group dining.
Fun, and cozy little spot. We were seated immediately even though the place was packed new years day. We ordered the kale caesar salald, the mozzarella and prosciutto, and the "Naughty" pizza. The salad and mozzarella came within 5 minutes of ordering and were both delicious! The kale was shredded and loaded with parmesean cheese. The prosciutto was tender and salty and delicious. Lastly came the pizza which was nice and crispy and well done, loaded with artichokes, mushrooms, and sliced ham. It was perfect as well. Overall we had a lovely experience and will definitely be back.
The pizza was beyond savory! This restaurant gives a very romantically dim-lit vibe. There's sparkling and tap water offered. The pizza was pretty affordable. The waiters are all very lovely and quick on their feet. I can't wait to return. My friend enjoyed their lasagna a lot as well. I definitely recommend this spot.
Very nice place, dropped in here after Brooklyn Bridge Flea Market on Saturday afternoon, had a wonderful, tasty salad. Cool vibe, chill music, very nice and attentive service. The only annoying thing is the endless stream of people coming in to ask to use the toilet, like there was a public toilet sign somewhere - and some even getting upset at being refused, with a sens of entitlement. Must be annoying for the staff.
I entered this place blinded by hunger with my friends after being clueless in dumbo. I will say with confidence this place is great! I the tomato sauce in the rigatoni was very tasty and all the pasta’s were cooked al dente or at least to our liking. I’ll point out that the price is above the average price I’ve paid for a dish like this, but it didn’t hurt because the dish tasted better than I expected anyway. I would happily go here again.
Amazing food and service!! The owner was there and was super friendly. Gave us lots of recommendations. The cucumbers were amazing as was the dumpling soup (lil swimmers). He kept refilling our waters for us even though it was more of a casual sitdown restaurant. Great food, great atmosphere great service!
This place is a vibe in the heart of Brooklyn, it’s a hidden gem underrated and authentic. The cute rabbit on the wall did make us feel lucky! They were upfront about not having dedicated vegan cooking spots. The vegan truffle dumplings is extraordinary and something unexpected but to get a feeling of how something so simple can be done right try the miso soup! It’s a winner!! Thanks so much we wish you keep growing :)
Garlic noddles are to die for. Cool spot for American Asian fusion cuisine. Whatever they are paying the cook, it’s not enough. What that guy makes in a 3’ x 5’ kitchen, it’s a miracle. A must-go if you happen in the neighborhood. It’s DUMBO, so it’s not super cheap and it’s a hole in the wall, but worth it.
The flavor profile of the Beef Noodle and Chili Garlic Noodle is insanely full of flavor. Beware, if you aren't good with spice, don't get the Chili Garlic but I do think it's spiced at a good amount. The beef is so tender and the chicken was good. I recommend the Braised Beef & Noodle. The house dumplings are okay; I'd skip on that. Overall, a good experience and I found out about this on TikTok awhile ago. Unfortunately, it gets very crowded and you might not be able to find a seat. However, the worker on Saturday is very sweet.
What a cozy place on a cold & rainy day! Spontaneous visit today after seeing the great Google reviews. My husband & I came here after seeing a local art show. I ordered the Garlic Noodles with Chicken & my husband had the Signature Dish, Braised Beef & Noodles. We were both pleasantly surprised by the fresh homemade noodles which were soft, delicious & chewy. Also, we were very impressed by the combination of tasty flavors. My husband even commented that he was having a ‘spiritual experience’ while enjoying his food 😊 Great to see there are vegan options as well. Staff were all friendly & greeted us when we arrived. Definitely will be back to try some more dishes & dumplings. Note: Large parties, the place is very small with limited seating. Update: They move into a new location and it’s a bigger space! Also, close to the subway station and the still delicious!
Lucky Rabbit Noodles is the definition of a hidden gem—quite literally a hole-in-the-wall, tucked away but worth every step to find. The space is tiny, almost underground in feel, but the service is so warm and welcoming it balances everything out. Their outdoor seating is a thoughtful touch, especially when the inside gets crowded. Now, the garlic noodles. Thick, chewy strands with a buttery softness that makes every bite feel indulgent. The garlic isn’t shy here—it’s bold, fragrant, and deeply infused into the sauce. Speaking of the sauce, it clings to the noodles in the best way, rich and flavorful enough to keep me salivating just thinking about it. It’s a simple dish, yet executed with such confidence and depth that it makes this spot unforgettable. A small place with big flavor—exactly the kind of spot you want to claim as your own.
Great spot to stop by after the flea market. It is first come first serve, but they do take out. The server/ host was very friendly. The spot is tight but it makes it intimate. We got the braised beef noodles and it was so good. You can taste the flavors of ginger, scallion, and basil, it was very layered. I would recommend sharing this noodle bowl because it was so huge! But the leftovers hit the next day! Would love to come back again
The whole meal was delicious, and the Matzo Ball Soup Dumplings TRULY exceeded my expectations! I can’t wait to come back. For under $80 with tip, we had an extravagant meal (two kinds of dumplings, the excellent cukes, the aforementioned soup dumplings, noodles with brisket and scallion chicken with rice and two soft drinks) with enough left over for lunch tomorrow! We’ll be back for sure!
I have to admit, I was a bit unsure at first about checking this place out. It wasn’t the food display that made me hesitant, but I just didn’t know much about it. However, after chatting with the owner, I got a better feel for the dishes. I decided to try the pineapple chicken stir-fry, and wow, I was pleasantly surprised! The flavors were amazing—the sweetness of the pineapple was a perfect match with the green sauce, and everything blended together beautifully. What really stood out to me was the owner’s kindness. They took the time to explain the dishes and even suggested some fun flavor enhancements. If you're looking for a cozy dining experience, I highly recommend this place! The prices are reasonable, the atmosphere is relaxed, and the food? Absolutely delicious!
Food was great, kind of fusion style. The noodles don't match what's pictured on the menu but still yummy- very savory. Do not recommend the miso soup- not miso flavored and not filling. Loved everything else! Dumpling Moods in chili sauce, Garlic noodles (my favorite), Matzo ball soup dumplings, and the chili garlic noodle special. Also it's under the train so felt a bit dizzy dining in, crowded
This place is DELICIOUS! If there is anything on this menu that you think you might like - order it, you will love it! My friend and I went for lunch last Friday, it was busy, but after a short wait, we got a seat at the counter to eat. I had the braised beef and noodles and peanut dumplings - so yummy. My friend had the buffalo chicken dumplings and soup and was in heaven - so much chicken in the soup. I live 9 hours away and I can’t wait to go back here!! As good as the food was, the service and friendliness (and excellent spelling 😉) of Becky - the co-owner. She was great to chat with while we ate, telling us more about the place and the food! Eat in or take-out from the Lucky Rabbit - the food is absolutely as good as it sounds on the menu.
Braised beef noodles were delicious! No complaints on the portion size. Super thankful for the service! I also had a Thai milk tea to begin with. They have Vegan beverages so there was no regular milk in it, after expressing that I didn't like my drink due to the previously unknown coconut milk in my Thai milk tea, they gladly swapped it out for a passion fruit green tea. The green tea was delicious! Definitely gonna come back on another day to try out the dumplings!
It’s a cute little hole in the wall!!! I had the rigatoni, which was delicious, and maybe because it was a bit empty but they gave me a complementary dessert (the Nutella something) If you’re in the area, I highly recommend stopping by!
I had read many reviews about this place and I managed to go after a long walk towards Dumbo. I was a bit hesitant to dine in as we were the only people there but soon I realised we were a bit early; the space is small and can be packed within minutes! I noticed that they mostly work with take outs. Wasn’t sure what to order but since we were a party of 4 we ordered several dishes, dumplings, noodles and a rice dish. I loved every bite, especially the dishes with the peanut sauce, I would visit again if a had more days left!
A cheerful, bustling noodle shop just below the bridge. If you sit outside you can listen to an occasional train pass by, and enjoy how the city hums around you. The food was good, but didn’t blow us away - I didn’t find the garlic chili noodles too garlicky and just slightly bland, but they were nicely spicy and with soy sauce they were good. The send noods was again somewhat bland but good and satisfying. We were disappointed with the Massaman curry dumplings, but I’d happily try another dumpling - they have a wide variety of options there. It’s clear everything, down to the noodles, is made fresh daily - every dish seems to have the option to choose which protein (or none!) meaning it’s highly vegetarian friendly. The prices are steep - our meal for 2 was $60 after tip, and no drinks, but the portions are massive and the plate of noodles I got was 2 meals essentially. Overall, a good spot.
The dumplings were pretty good it was just basic chicken dumplings with specialty sauces and toppings I had the curry dumplings and they were pretty good and a reasonable price. The cane sugar mint juice was pricey but seemed authentic and very sweet. The atmosphere was very small and crowded but you get your food quick and eventually it clears up. They also provide outdoor seating.
i ordered their rustic pizza which features sopressata and red peppers. the pie came out within 5 minutes which is nice if you want a quick bite. the pizza itself was decent— nothing really outstanding about it. the tomato sauce and cheese were pretty standard and the sopressata was one of the redeeming qualities. they do use a brick oven to bake their pizzas which adds a nice charcoal/smoky flavor
We’ve had a couple great meals at Lucky Rabbit. Our last experience was very disappointing though. We ordered two vegetarian meals for takeout. When we got home we realized one of the noodle dishes was full of shredded chicken. We tried calling the restaurant to let them know of the mistake but they never picked up. Also tried sending an email to explain what happened to the email address on their website. Seems it’s not a real address as I got a bounce back. Disappointing treatment of customers for an otherwise outstanding spot.
$30 for a vegan ice cold pizza I'm not living far and the driver told me that it wasn't even hot anymore when it got picked up Why is it without tomato sauce? Even if it would have been hot it would be overpriced. inedible They haven't responded to my message or phone call, not interested to improve.
The food was not worth the price. The location was cute. The drinks were mediocre. The presentation was very underwhelming. What saved everything was Arthur our server The location if you don’t mind passing trains over head is decent. The drinks were mediocre and poorly executed. Dishes served on super chipped plates. Arthur who I wish I had nothing bad to say still didn’t really know the liquor they had at the bar. And had to be reminded to bring certain items to the table. Miss matching silverware, the roughest napkins, and barely any ice in the drinks. Especially on a very warm day that it was. This occasion reminds me why I always Google search and read reviews on places so that I have a heads up. So that when I’m out on a date and not just randomly picking a spot because of a location. That is worth my time, calories, and hard earned money. Thank you for a horrible experience will never recommend and will tell others to stay away
Kudo's to the pizza baker, great pizza with thin crushy bottom. The service without a smile. That girl came without any request from me with the receipt and herself made 22% tip in it. Without any shame, no smile nor eyecontact and without any words. Shameless. I do not recomment
interesting experience. didn’t know you could really go wrong with pizza in Brooklyn, or pizza in general, but we made the mistake of wanting to try one of the unique Wood Fire Pizza options, so decided on the Soppresata!!! pizza. But received a much different pizza than what was featured on the online menu. As a frequent traveler and long time F&B myself, I’m not normally one to leave negative reviews - but draw the line on receiving a pizza with Maraschino cherries on it. We didn’t sent it back considering how long it took to get our glasses of wine (20 mins) and pizza (30+),on a Monday night after 7, despite the 3 other tables in the restaurant already eating when we’d arrived, we were hungry, disappointed, and still had an open mind about trying the pizza. If the pizza didn’t have the maraschino cherries on it, it would’ve probably been good, but a $67.50 bill (not including tip) for a pizza, 2 glasses of wine, and a single shot espresso… honestly, wouldn’t recommend.
Edit: A few days after posting my review, I got the expected feedback from the owner that I should "kick rocks." I cannot take offense because I expected it, and there are way worse comments on other reviews. If you care about how businesses treat customers, then spend your hard earned money elsewhere. My friend and I decided to check out Lucky Rabbit Noodles after it was hyped up on social media and had very good reviews. We went when it opened at 11am on a Saturday. They are trying to go with hole-in-the-wall vibes with their interior, but the pricing is not aligned with that. The interior only seats about 5 people at a time, so try to either get takeout for the park or go at an off time. My friend got the braised beef and noodles ($26), and I got the garlic noodles ($18). There is a 5% service charge, which I wish they disclosed, because I would have paid in cash if that was an option (it may not be). My friend commented that the noodles were almost gluey (maybe undercooked), the beef was nice and tender with nice flavor, but nothing else aside from the meat had flavor. The garlic noodles were very dry and also severely lacked flavor. I forced myself to finish it because of the price. Location-wise, I understand why this place needs to have their prices so high. However, your food needs to justify those prices. Truthfully, even if their prices were lower, the noodles were not good. I think they should bring a few people in for taste testing and revamp their menu. The owner also has some rude replies on Google reviews (telling a reviewer to kick rocks), which I think is poor customer service.
Disappointed after a long wait and high hopes. We ordered a good portion of the menu and waited quite a while, so we were really expecting something special. Unfortunately, the experience fell short. The curry tasted more like something from a packet than a freshly made dish, and the dumplings were cold in the center—definitely felt like they were frozen and not properly cooked. The buffalo rice with “homemade buffalo sauce” also didn’t deliver; it just didn’t have the flavor or freshness we expected. For the wait time and price, the quality just wasn’t there.
Two small pizzas, three salads. $180. Ordered two Bloody Mary's they were awful, mold in the ice.. We ordered a Margarita pizza and they didn't have the basil. No compensation offered. Owner nothing short of rude. We were in NYC for 5 days and ate out every meal, this is my only bad review from the trip.....
I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at Love and Dough Pizza was so frustrating, I felt compelled to share. First, the pizza I ordered was supposed to come with basil. Not only was it missing, but when I asked about it, the staff casually said, “We don’t have any.” No apology, no adjustment to the price—just a shrug. Then I asked for a bit of Parmesan cheese and was told they’d need to take my entire pizza back to the kitchen just to add it. Seriously? At that point, I told them to forget it. It felt like I was being punished for asking for something simple. To top it off, the pizza was supposed to include eggplant, but what I got was barely a trace—tiny, microscopic bits that made me wonder if they ran out and just hoped I wouldn’t notice. There was absolutely no love in the food or the service. When you name your place Love and Dough, customers expect a little more care. Unfortunately, this was a disappointing experience from start to finish.
Terrible experience. The manager was shockingly rude, unprofessional, and borderline aggressive. We had friends visiting from Germany and wanted to give them a classic NY pizza moment. We saw the large pie on display and asked if we could order it for the table—happy to pay for all the slices or even an upcharge. The waiter initially said no but suggested asking the manager. When I politely explained the situation, the manager abruptly and repeatedly said “no” with no explanation, just cold, dismissive responses that made the staff visibly uncomfortable. I remained polite the entire time, but his demeanor made the entire experience uncomfortable and embarrassing. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Spending $200 has never hurt so much! Here’s his photo so you could stay clear of this place!
I would give 0 stars if I could. The place had a a funky smell but I gave it a chance. Shouldn’t have because the smell definitely came from the spoiled cheese that was on my pizza slice. I couldn’t even finish my pizza. After I left I checked out the market across the street for about 10 minutes before my stomach started to hurt (probably from the pizza) I had to use the restroom so I went back here and was turned away, first because they said I wasn’t a “paying customer” after I reminded them of the pizza I just bought they changed it and said “the restroom is for dining customers only”. Terrible, spoiled food and even worse hospitality. DO NOT give this place your time or money.
Do not order anything fresh here. My salad had tons of rotten lettuce, some old, cold, tough brussel sprouts, some of which had brown centers, some grated Parmesan, and the one edible part of the salad- toasted pine nuts. I got to sift through all of this while seated next to a filthy wall.
My one-star rating comes not because of the sub-par yet overpriced pizza, but due to the abysmal service and treatment my partner and I received during our less-than-30-minute stay at this establishment. Both waiter & host barely said any words to us. The waiter, in serving my partner his ordered drink, slammed the glass onto our table abruptly and left. Said waiter also brought us the cheque before we even finished our pizza. We received the message loud and clear and so we paid and left not long after. I suppose the one good thing about the situation is that we did not have to wait long for our meal to come to our table, so we were not subject to spending too much time in an establishment where we were clearly unwelcome. I've now read the other poor reviews from other POC on here and should've done it before patronizing this establishment. Regrettably dined in on May 31st at around 2:30pm.
Literally just went here, 5/10/25 , 7:15 pm, and guy at the door has the energy of a bouncer! Blocking the door! Are you closed? No. Whites only? No? I see a Sister sitting in the front. Weird, I didn't feel welcomed! Totally turned off and went next door to Tommy's Bar and Burger, which was friendly, welcoming, and with better ambiance and food and drinks were amazing! Don't go here!
On October 3rd, at approximately 7:30 PM, I entered Love and Dough Pizzeria. My uncle had just purchased a box of pizza, and within 10 minutes, I re-entered with two little girls, ages six, to use the restroom. When I asked the manager, Stefon, if the children could use the bathroom, he was extremely rude and dismissive, despite me explaining that I was a paying customer. Hoping for help, I approached the waiter, Alex, but he looked me up and down and walked away without a word. The cashier, Ri, was the only staff member who showed kindness. She listened politely, though she seemed embarrassed by her colleagues’ behavior. Because she could not resolve the issue, I purchased another slice of pizza ($5.25) just to be able to allow the children access to the bathroom. Only then did Stefon return and say we could use the restroom as though I had not already been a paying customer. The entire interaction was unprofessional, disrespectful, and completely lacking in customer service etiquette. The pizza itself was below average, but the bigger issue was the negative energy, dismissive attitude, and lack of basic courtesy from management and staff. I told them to keep the slice I had purchased and suggested they give it to someone in need, as I refused to take it after such treatment. I will not return to this establishment and cannot recommend it to anyone not because of the food alone, but because of the appalling behavior and lack of respect for customers.
I would give zero stars if that was an option. $100 for two pizzas and plain pasta. The pizza was just okay, and the pasta was overdone mush. The service was awful. We waited forever for our food, they refused the simplest requests (no sauce on pasta), and then we waited forever for our check. Every table around us was complaining about food arriving late or incorrect. The table next to us had to ask three times for cutlery. Then, the server had the absolute gall to tip herself above the standard percentage on my card, requiring me to contest it with my bank. Lastly, the chairs are cheap plastic, and every time we moved, the legs went out from under us - and trying to get to the door in a tiny and overcrowded space was anxiety-producing. We will never come back.
