Pando’s is a gem in the community. The staff greets you with warm smiles and makes you feel right at home. The drinks are delicious and it’s fun trying new ones that pop up on the menu. And I must say - the chicken crepe was by far the best crepe I’ve ever had. I can’t wait to try the others.
Really cute place! The owner was working and spoke to her and her husband so much a nice couple. Very cute cafe. Nice selection of drinks and food for such a small place. I got the passion fruit cold brew it’s fizzy with seltzer and gives you a little refreshing hit with every drink perfect for hot days when a cold brew is not cutting it. I also got the spinach and cheese empanada not sure the style this was it it was a little denser than I expected but was very good and sweet! I will definitely be making this my local coffee spot!
Fantastic coffee. Great ambience. Much needed and welcomed coffee joint in the neighborhood and near the park! Owner is super sweet - spinach empanada was delicious. Will try sandwiches next go around. Highly Reccomend! #peruFTW! .
This was soo good! We were going to take our food to go, but ended up eating it on the spot! Great mix of Peruvian ingredients!
Came in the other day to get a quick coffee, sat down and the barista Lillian chatted with me while I waited for my drink; she made great conversation while making my latte. Props to the amazing service for making me feel welcome while I wait!
Intimate cafe. I don’t care for their coffee and in my opinion the service is a little slow, but I’m always happy with my food and typically swing by after walking in the park. Actually something affordable 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
pando’s is awesome! the food is so delicious, it’s like a hug from a long lost sibling after years of despair. Jules (the barista) took great care of me and made me a delicious turmeric chai latte that was legitimately life-changing. once I had my first taste I immediately forgot all about the loss of my ten thousand dollar collection of antique handkerchiefs from the personal collection of Judy Garland and Lena Horne, with one personally used by Queen Elizabeth II on the night of her death (may she rest in peace!) I’ll definitely be coming here again as soon as I can settle the lawsuit with Judy’s estate.
Love everything about this place! If you order an empanada it comes with this sauce they should be selling by the gallon, I cannot get enough of it. The drinks are delicious and they have some creative flavors, I’m currently trying them all. I hope this place becomes a neighborhood institution for many many years to come.
We stopped by because we were at the museum around the corner. The chorizo crepe has to be the tastiest savory crepe I’ve ever had. The place is small but we were seated. The staff was very professional and friendly. The atmosphere was perfect for a cold winter day. They had books laying around and my wife and I just enjoyed reading after we finished our food and finished our coffee. The music was a perfect mood. From Rancheras to Motown R&B. Highly recommend. Edit: we had our puppy and they were so welcoming.
Absolutely delicious food and very kid friendly. They have a changing table in the bathroom and it makes it very convenient! We went to the Brooklyn children's museum nearby, and this place is a 5 min walk away. They had a high chair available, and a large changing table in the bathroom. It made everything very manageable when looking after a baby! The food was absolutely delicious, definitely recommend the classic crepe and the turkey avocado sandwich! The best part was the service! The couple running the restaurant were very welcoming and accommodating!
Beautiful setting small but comfy place to grab a coffee, sweet treat, or crepe. (They have mini waffles too) I've been here 3x now and so far my fav crepe is the Newyorkino! While it's listed as a savory crepe can also be sweet if you add some syrup. The owner is a sweetheart! Very personable not afraid to strike up/carry a conversation with his customers. I like that in a business owner. Would for sure return and recommend.
Came here on a Sunday morning for some brunch and it was an ok experience. There wasn’t a wait to order but it took 25-30mins for my crepe/sandwich to come out which is very long for what’s supposed to be a quick bite. I’ve never had to wait more than 10 mins for a crepe before so this was not a great start. Seemed like others were waiting quite a while too. I didn’t dock a star for this though bc the entire place is tiny so they really don’t have the capacity to take on too much at once so just keep that in mind. Crepe is delicious, it’s thick and crispy unlike most places and it’s a huge portion too! Sandwich my bf got was not bad either. However, bc I was in a rush I wouldn’t be down to wait that long for this meal again Matcha strawberry was the most disappointing thing for sure. There is no excuse for the matcha to be grainy at the bottom if you make it properly. and to charge $7 for the drink to be mostly milk is criminal, the color was barely green. The strawberry flavor was very light and tasted like fresh strawberries but there wasn’t any in the drink which is interesting.
I really like this family-owned café — the food is good and the baristas are always kind and welcoming. I like the environment and atmosphere. However, I had an experience with the owner where I ordered something, waited about 10-15 minutes, and never received it. It left me feeling overlooked, and the interaction with the owner wasn’t that friendly. She took my order and just moved on right away. While I was waiting we made eye contact 2-3 times, met with a straight face and I wasn’t really sure if I should speak up. I finally explained to one of the baristas that I hadn’t received my order and they gave it to me within minutes. It doesn’t make me feel appreciated as a customer, more like my business is being taken for granted. I live nearby, so I’ve come back a number of times and met with the same cold behavior. A little friendliness or politeness, a smile here and there, is an important part of providing good service to paying customers. I still enjoy coming here for the atmosphere, food, and staff, it’s a nice experience overall, but I hope management improves on customer care so the experience matches the quality of everything else.
I went to this place on 10/24 and will not be returning. I was going here almost every Friday while I was pregnant doing some work while eating a crepe and an apple juice. It was my first time returning since giving birth so I was really excited to get a crepe and coffee. I put my order in waited the guy behind the counter gave me my coffee everything was fine. As I’m sitting waiting for my crepe I finished my coffee wondering what was taking my crepe so long. I sat and waited patiently for 25 minutes. I asked the guy who took my order where’s my crepe he said he had to ask the other gentleman. I waited another 5 minutes wondering and HE HAD JUST STARTED IT. As I’m telling the gentleman if he could kind of sped it up so I can get back to work and my child he said “it’s nothing he can do” I told him well I waited 30 minutes for something that should take less than 15 he proceeds to tell me “30 minutes isn’t long” EXCUSE ME! The disrespect was ridiculous. The crepes are good but I refuse to give them any more of my money.
