My son came back home to NJ from Brooklyn ranting and raving about this establishment, he finally brought me with him there and I was nothing short of amazed! Cozy and warm feeling. Been eating here every other day since I work near by and I can honestly say their meat is extremely fresh and very tasty. Their staff is cool too and quite prompt to requests.

Great little market right by the pier. Their coffee is the best around. I absolutely love their frozen yogurt and their food is excellent. This place has a Manhattan feel to it but not Manhattan prices. I’m here 3-4 times a week and would highly recommend this place.

The very best business on the far end of Bay Ridge. Good food and great artisinal coffee. Service tends to be quick. Also love the mini mart selection and even art being sold from local artists. The artistic hip colourful vibe is also a welcome sight in this otherwise dull neighbourhood.

Tried this place out the other day as per my friends referral. Was not disappointed. I had a cheeseburger with fries, it was two patties, grilled onions, and some kind of delicious sauce (like a mayo ketchup garlic type) and i asked for pickles on the side. I never finish my burgers, especially when theyre that big but this one was so fresh and so juicy and the fries were perfectly salted and crispy. I enjoyed my food so much i didnt stop to take a picture. I also had one of those big chocolate chip cookies (fresh out of the oven) and it looked like a cartoon cookie. Just ALMOST too perfect to eat. I devoured it all. As for the place itself, its like 600 feet from the pier. They have a table outdoors and lots of other food and stuff to buy. They make juices açaí bowls smoothies anything u want. I cant wait to have another burger. Tomorrow.

If you want the best food with excellent service, this is the place to go. They also have the best coffee in the neighborhood. The owner is a really nice guy and always makes sure the customers are taken care of. 5 stars!

We love this little market! it’s a great location convenient to the pier, Owls Head, narrows botanical— many times we’ve picked something yummy up (like a smoothie and a baked good) and had a picnic in the park. The food is really tasty and so is the coffee! Lattes, etc. It’s nice to have a food and drink option that isn’t up on 3rd-4th-5th. Edit August 2020: What are your updated hours? A few times we’ve walked by between 8-9am and it hasn’t been open.

What’s not to love about this place?! It’s a cute hip neighborhood spot. I enjoy everything I order. All the freshly squeezed juices and smoothies are delicious. I just tried their açaí bowl - SO GOOD. Wide option menu. Their delicious drink fridge is always stocked with a variety of water, juices, sodas and of course my fav beer especially IPA 😉 It’s in such a great location by the pier, you can go for a morning run/bike ride and grab something on the go or grab a La Colombe coffee or Rishi tea and take a nice stroll. Kid & dog friendly! Staff is very friendly highly recommend trying this place out! 😃

Started coming by here with my kids in the summer for some fresh squeezed juice and ice coffees. I always make it a stop here in the AM, hot chocolate for the kids and a latte with oat milk for me. Great place and great people always smiling ! keep it up guys. D.

So I’ve been coming here some time now & everyone’s so nice, the girls are great by the counter and they practically have my iced coffee ready when I come in the morning. The place is sort of a modern mom and pop/small family business, they’ll offer different things on top of their menu items regularly which taste fresh and homey, the food does take afew extra minutes so I started to call 15 minutes before I get there and they always have it ready, I also live not to far away and I’ll be trying their free delivery in bay ridge which is sweet! Meatball Parm is definitely up there in my top meals in Bay ridge & my wife gets the Veggie burger which she says is satisfying, we’re so glad that this placed opened up in the neighborhood, we really needed a place that was there for us in the summer and winter! Good luck !!

I love this neighborhood cafe. They are the only real cafe in the direct vicinity of the 69th st. pier in Bay Ridge. They are the perfect place for a great breakfast or lunch with amazing coffee. We always stop here on the way to a walk along the water with the kids or to hang in the Shore Rd. Botanical Gardens. I was commuting daily on the ferry for a while and while you can get coffee on the Horn Blower Ferry, it's a total drag to be left empty handed if the NYC Water Taxi shows up on occasion instead with no vending service. Very cool artwork and even a rack of used books for sale, too.

Great place to start every morning! With the ferry down the block I stop here every morning for breakfast on my way to the city. Their Chai Latte is perfect, all the baked good from cookies to croissants are always fresh often times still hot from the oven in the morning. Also for those days when I don’t need to commute to the city Pier 69 has great lunch options acai bowls for those days when i’m feeling healthy and savory burgers for the days when I just want something for the ❤️.

Spoke to the owner, and found out that not only are they serving La Colombe Coffee, but they even did a session with the La Colombe roasters to find the best way to brew the coffee on their equipment? Come here all the time for my daily cup of Joe, I had NO IDEA the hidden gems they serve as specials all I can say is WOW - jeez I eat in the city and don't get the kind of flavor. Besides their staples ( bagles,muffins/all things breakfast) the waffles any type, the featured sandwiches ( last time had the steak) are not to be missed/ignored. I was doing a job close to this place one day and went in for a cup coffee, it was so good I go out of the way now for their coffee. I eat here now pretty regularly because i love the food, the grill cheese is amazing, the bacon egg and cheese is the best I've ever had, the burgers are fantastic and the breakfast plate is probably my favorite. Plus the decor and service is spot on. Go in once and I'm sure you'll be hooked.

I just visited the Brooklyn area about a week ago and this restaurant is a hidden Gem. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food is delicious. It was so good we had to come back the next day. The waffles, French toast, turkey bacon and even the oatmeal was excellent. They put fresh strawberries and bananas in it for my daughter and she loved it. Shout out to Gabriella who has the same name as my daughter. She’s the best.

This place is truly a hidden gem of Bay Ridge! Located across the street of the beloved Pier 69 is this amazing hip and happening Cafe. With its rustic and trendy look to the their great music it all marries well. The staff is so welcoming and is really accommodating to anything you need. Their drink options are endless. My best friend who lives is Queens ALWAYS makes sure to pick up some caramel iced coffees! I personally love their food! If I could I would eat their fresh, made to order, well seasoned cheeseburgers and fries everyday! Their breakfast burritos with home fries inside, dipped into their in-house chipotle mayo is pretty scrumptious too! They also have an array of healthy options and daily baked goods (yum). I can honestly say that I have never had a bad experience. I would highly recommend Pier 69 Cafe, you'll thank me later.

I walked by this place almost everyday for the last few months on my walking route through my neighborhood. I decided to stop in and buy something like coffee or a BEC. After viewing their menu, I changed my mind and bought a breakfast plate and a smoothie. I really, really like that they have all day breakfast here. Also the menu is HUGE, literally... The entire wall behind the cashier is covered in colored chalk with all the menu options scrawled out elegantly for you to peruse while waiting to place an order. It's a nice touch that gives the rear area of the small establishment the vibe of a modern Diner of sorts. I'm definitely going to go back and try different items off their menu and see what else is good. With my order, I was offered some Sirracha Ketchup and it was absolutely delicious with my eggs! I would easily recommend this restaurant to anyone that is in the local area for whatever reason. Perhaps you're stopping by the Veterans Memorial Pier located not far away, or maybe you're walking through the park that's around the corner on Shore Road. If you find yourself out by this eatery, give this spot a try. I think you'll be in for a pleasant treat.

I ordered an egg, turkey bacon, mozzarella cheese on a brioche... I asked the guy not to put too much cheese and it was just the right amount of cheese! The bread was fresh and the turkey bacon and egg was cooked to perfection.. Place is clean; loved the barn doors and tree top tables! Great experience!!!!

My barista, I think her name was Jolie, was very helpful and did a good job making my smoothies. My food came out rather quickly and was really good. I got a caesar salad wrap with fried chicken, which was recommended to me from my friends. Definitely a good choice! Will be coming back soon

I usually come here with my fiancé after our long runs along the Shore Road Promenade. The cafe has a nice vibe, friendly staff and a few tables to eat. They have a lot of food options and coffee for quick bite. I usually get the bacon, egg and cheese sandwich on a brioche bun. I would definitely recommend. 👍

Best coffee in NYC, make the trip. Pickup drinks and food walk to Pier down the block. The service was spot on. The owner is a pleasure to deal with. He had plenty of suggestions. He recommended a Ginger shot for the cold I was trying to fight off 👍. My wife had one of the best ice coffees and I had a White chocolate Mocha latte with almond milk. Best ever.

They have $1 used books for sell, lottery, some items for home use, as well as weekday specials that fits the budget for all folks. They have comfortable seating and board games for patrons to enjoy. Did I mentioned the coffee was really good? You should stop by if you are in the neighborhood. EDIT: I stopped by again almost a week later and I had another cup of their aromatic La Colombe roasted black coffee. This time I had a poppy seed muffin, and they have the option to have the muffin toasted with a little butter, and OH My... it's divine. Their CoffeeBread Cinnamon muffin supposed to be pretty good as well. I'll have to try it in the future.

Found this quaint shop on 69th st that sells food. I figured I would stop in and check it out. I ordered a beach burger, boy! Did i make the right choice. The burger was juicy, tasty, and the toppings that came with it even better. It came with cheddar cheese, fried onions, bacon, avocado, and an egg on top. When I took my 1st bite, the combination of everything was just yummy and finger licking good! My compliments to the cook. Need to go back and try other things on the menu.

My friend Amy posted photos of this place on her social media page and I was instantly intrigued. I brought my family there later that day and I was totally impressed, from the facade to the food and everything in between. The facade has an inviting lighted sign and patterned awning. Once you enter the door, the artsy lighted "Cafe" sign tells you that you're in a for a unique cafe experience. The place advertises itself as a market and it does have exotic packaged food and drink products that you can purchase. However, the place feels more like cafe than a market. There's a large assortment of coffee and tea flavors that one can order in addition to a variety of hot and cold food selections. As a cafe, the food choices cover many bases with offerings of soup, pasta, an all-day breakfast fare, chili, wraps, bagels with flavored cream cheese, house-made muffins, and freshly-squeezed health juices and smoothies. Since we came for dinner, I ordered the organic grilled chicken with avocado wrap. It was delicious. The french fries were crispy and flavored with what seemed to be rosemary spice. My family and I sat down at tables made out of real tree slices that were encased in polyurethane. The walls were made out of a combination of brick and recycled wood tiles that made the place feel warm and earthy. The staff was very friendly. You could tell that after the grand opening of this place in December 2017, they aim to please everyone who steps through their door. This is the kind of place that I can picture myself spending time in working on my laptop while sipping hot coffee. I will definitely be coming back here soon to try their other food.

I love this place! Friendly people and amazing coffee! Their breakfast sandwiches are the best. The only thing that's a bit off os how the female behind the counter charges and the male. The board says the bec breakfast sammich is $4.00. The female worker charges that but the male worker charges $4.50. Whenever I point it out to him, he seems to get upset and says "well, we changed the prices."... No...you didn't. It may be just .50 cents but it adds up. I don't think they have a steady schedule of opening and closing, which throws me off sometimes. I wanted to get breakfast this morning from them and they were closed. It was past 8am if I recall. Last week in the evening, I wanted to get ice cream to try it from them and I think it was around 7:30 or 8:00 and they were closed. Being that they are new, I am sure they are trying to figure out what times will work for them. The neighborhood definitely needed this. Good luck guys! :)

This place was a surprise for me as it felt more of a place you will find in the city instead of the quiet local area. Looks like a great place to visit in the morning , on your way to the office or on your lunch break . They excel in mostly healthy food options . I of course I opted for the grilled cheese LOL and it was on point.

A decent place to stop by and get a quick bite or drink. It’s close to the pier and bus stop is right outside. Food and service is good for a neighborhood spot. I’d come back if I’m in the area next time.

We came for the Sandwiches, which were quality Brooklyn-style Italian subs accompanied by delicious Garlic Fries. There is also a great section of toys if you happen to need to pick something up on the way to a bday party, etc. The iced turmeric ginger tea was refreshing and made fresh.

Was glad to stumble on this place while visiting the pier. The BEC sandwich was quality and the market indoors is lovely and a nice place to enjoy a coffee. Downside was service. The person working the counter was at best annoyed and at worst just plain rude. At one point I thought the sandwich that came out was mine and said "thanks". She barked in response "NOT YOURS". You don't have to smile, but if you're working front of house, you have to demonstrate the basics of hospitality.

Great food and staff is awesome. Would be all 5s however it’s 90 degrees outside and the door is open rather than the AC being on. I’m confused, it’s not the atmosphere to eat hot food and have my ice drinks melt. Hopefully they figure out a way to fix the AC before summer comes! I assume many guests would stay longer and spend more money if there was AC.

Food is good but the hours are so inconsistent. Their website says they open at 9a daily but on multiple occasions I’ve gone around 9:30 or 10a and they were closed. Also the past few times I’ve gone (when they were actually open) the food took a long time to prepare. I even called my order ahead a few times and was told it would be ready in 10-15 minutes, but still had to wait an additional 20 minutes at the place. Seems they are sorely understaffed which is a shame because it’s a nice spot in a great location.

So, first I want to start this review off stating the food was delicious and that deserves a 5/5, but the management/staff leaves alot to be desired which is why I am giving it a 3/5. One of the ladies that work there (not a cashier, she was a bit older serving the food) I would give a 0/5 if I could. Heres the story: My fiance and I were really looking forward to trying this place. We went in after a great morning to order the sweet and smokey bacon, egg, and cheesse with pancake buns and a roast beef sandwich. After ordering we sat down, and about 20 minutes later the cashier that took our order yelled out "bacon, egg, and cheese!", so I walked up and asked if that was mine to confirm, and she said "yes". When I went to eat the sandwich, I was slightly confused as it didn't taste like pancakes, but I never have been there before so I just accepted that was what I ordered. Fast foward another 20 minutes, my fiance still hasn't gotten his sandwich and I already finished mine. I went up to get napkins and I see the older lady I described above with a tray of food. I ask her "oh is that that roast beef sandwich?" and she stated she didn't know and cannot read the recepit. She was getting visually and verbally frustarted, said she was going to ask the people in the back, and finally jsut asked me to read the receipt. it was the roast beef sandwich AND the actual BEC on pancakes I ordered. I told her I just ate a BEC that the cashier gave me. This lady then had to audacity to come over and ask if I could pay for the BEC I ate because "it wasn't mine". I told her it was given to me and shes rudely said "whatever just keep it then". First of all, this loss is definitely not my fault as I even confirmed with the cashier if it was mine and she said yes when I picked it up. Secondly, the second sandwich was delicious and I had no room left to even eat what I actually ordered, so I wasn't happy that my order got mixed up AND was being told I had to pay for this mix-up. Maybe train your staff better and/or take a loss that clearly wasn't the customers fault. I worked as a retail manager years back and I would have been written up for being that rude to a customer. Sucks we are never going to go back because of this lady even though we loved the food, let us know if you ever fire her!

I went in with my wife for coffee. The coffee was great. The place looked fantastic. The server was a bit mediocre. The problem i had was when I went their the coffee shop was taken over by teenagers that seemed to be friends with the cashier. There was no place to sit because about eight kids took over two tables to drink two coffees. This happened on a Saturday afternoon.

Coffee and food was great, girl behind the counter was even sweeter. Guy who came to take my order when she went to do something was super rude. Totally dismissed my presence and tried to take the next persons order, then went to make my coffee before I even had a chance to finish telling him my order. When a friend tried to change her order and the young lady asked for his assistance he goes “Well what does she want then??” He was fine with the other customers so I don’t think it was a bad day unfortunately.

They stopped to be attentive to the notes of their customers. I just ordered coffee from this place and I asked them to give me oat milk coffee instead. I even called them. I cannot drink regular milk and they don’t have an option on DoorDash to add oat milk. What do you think. I get two coffees with regular milk that go to trash now. Thank you! You either change your options on DoorDash either do what you promised by phone call.

Hello, I’d like to add a comment to this review I made a while ago to explain. I used to love this place but was turned off and walked out of the store when I saw the cashier/owner not wearing a mask (multiple times). I have type 1 diabetes and am at higher risk of the fatal consequences of COVID. Any time an individual or business does not take this pandemic seriously, they are putting others at risk. Your customers who *do* wear masks entering the cafe are actually protecting you more than they are themselves. We all must do our part. Thanks for reading.

My partner went with a friend to buy smoothies and requested a strawberry banana smoothie with milk but the young woman barista told them they were out of strawberries and could only do a berry mix. But when our friend ordered a strawberry banana smoothie afterwards, he got strawberries. It’s not the first time that we’ve been to Market 69 where the same young woman has said there are items missing or they can’t make a certain order or a machine is turned off or it’s too late to make something. It’s really frustrating because we love the food and quality of Market 69. We’ve never run into this issue when any other staff are working. Such a bummer!

I went to this place and I was sad and mad because first they should change the hours in Google I went at 4.40pm I was gonna order and the lady was in a rush cleaning and she told me in a bad way that they close at 5pm I mean I was just gonna order a hot tea and I still had "20mint" left 😅 so I don't understand why she couldn't make it I worked at a coffe shop we close a 6 which means last order is at 6 it's okey if you don't want to make coffe when you already clean but tea? You don't take time or make a mess I really wanted the tea meanwhile I was walking close by

Pier 69 Market sent a ceased and detest letter to an individual in Clearwater, FL who was trying to help raise money on GoFundMe for the Pier 69 Artists who make a living on Pier 69 out of Clearwater, FL. They have no empathy towards the individuals affected by Hurricane Helene. Yet, at least 2 employees ran a GoFundMe a year ago. The people here are very selfish and don't deserve you business.

I don’t know what these people do in the kitchen. They took one and half hour long just to make my order. I asked the guy in front and he said few minutes and then I asked him again and seems like he doesn’t care. The quality of food was not good. Bad service!!!!

If I could review the food alone it is 5 stars, we had the sweet and savory bacon egg and cheese on a pancake bun which was incredible, like a gourmet McGriddle. We also got the roast beef hero with fries, also really good. The mocha iced latte was all very good as well. The service itself would be 1 star out of 5. Behind the counter seemed a little hectic between in person orders as well as delivery orders, which is fine. It took awhile for us to even order and then much longer to get our food, and that’s where the confusion and bad service really began. The girl behind a counter called out a bacon egg and cheese, my fiancé went up and asked if it was hers to make sure she didn’t grab someone else’s order and the girl said yes it was and asked if my fiancé needed a plate which we declined. My fiancé then opened up the sandwich and noticed the bun didn’t seem exactly to be like a pancake and double checked with the girl behind the counter who insisted it was ours. That being said my fiancé ate it, again since we told it was ours, and we continued to wait for my sandwich. Maybe 15 mins later an older lady comes out from the back confused with the receipt which she couldn’t read, maybe get some glasses, and my fiancé went up to see if that was my roast beef sandwich. It was the sandwich as well as the bacon egg and cheese that my fiancé ordered. Noticing that my fiancé asked if that was ours even though they had already given us what we were told was our sandwich. The lady then said that after we were done eating to go back up to the register so we could settle up for the price of the sandwich mistake that they made. I found this extremely unprofessional since it was their mistake, not ours. The older lady then gave us attitude because we felt like we were being wronged by having to take the fall for their mistake and she rudely told us to “forget it” and stormed off. She also seemed to treat the younger employees with disrespect and wasn’t trying to help them learn in anyway. Again the food was great, just wish they could have better staff who take responsibility for their mistakes. The owner also needs to grow up and listen to its customers instead of responding with emojis

We went in and wanted a bacon egg and cheese the owner said the chef doesn't come in until 9 am that was strange.. we then ordered two iced americanos and the owner takes the cups and starts filling them at the sink with tap water disgusting get a filtered system 😒 😤

Not really impressed I am better going to Dunkin and Starbucks.

we wanted to ride the ferry to Bay Ridge and went to this cafe near the dock, a nice cafe, but it's only a view, firstly, the light in the toilet is very dim, the water does not flush, there is no paper and when my wife came out of the toilet, she cut her finger, secondly, we ordered 2 burgers and a salad, the lettuce was not fresh and the burger was hard, the fries were like they were made with burnt oil and cheese, very tasteless, the prices are like in Manhattan, almost $ 60 for 2 burgers and a salad, what are you talking about? Why such prices, we did not finish everything and threw it away, we will not go there again. Horrible!!!
