Tip: They offer gluten-free bagels, but confirm they are toasted in a disengaged toaster to avoid cross-contamination. Also, be mindful of the cost of extras like kombucha.

I contacted them for my work team. They catered Corp 4 breakfasts for 50+ ppl. Customer service was excellent, delivery was on time & the quality of bagels & breakfast wraps were fresh & tasty! Thank you for the stellar service!
It's always a surprise to see a place you frequent a lot and like has a rating under 4.0! Rest assured there is nothing wrong with this place lol. Good big new york bagels and cream cheese. They have a fun dessert bagel called the cheesecake bagel which is great if you like something sweet. If not their regular stuff is always a hit at my apartment. Another reviewer claimed their lox bagel is over $20 which is just not true. It's $13 like the rest of NYC.
I’ve been ordering from Bad Bagel for YEARS. Today I requested in the delivery notes if they could drizzle some ketchup & hot sauce directly on my omelette (without packets on the side, waste of plastic) and they did! Lots of lazy breakfast places or delis wouldn’t even bother. (If BB workers are reading this, thank you guys so much, it was a super memorable breakfast experience.) My go-to orders include the vegetarian omelette (the hash browns and sliced avocado on the side are always a nice touch), a bagel with tofu scallion cream cheese (with additional toppings of tomatoes, onions, and capers, for a lox bagel experience without the lox, LOL — great option for vegans too) and maybe a black coffee.. or a cinnamon roll.. I love BB for the service and coziness of the food. There may be objectively fancier breakfast spots but this is my reliable, mid-range neighborhood go-to.
Good but a little pricey. When I checked out my bagel and kombucha came to $9 something. I thought the guy charged me extra but I think the kombucha cost $6. It was a very good bagel and the guy prepared it exactly as I asked with 1/2 toasted with butter and the other 1/2 not toasted with cream cheese.
discovered Bad Bagel via the NYC Bagel Passport promo and decided to come back bc i really enjoyed the bagels & the quality of cream cheese spreads. decided to go with a whole wheat everything bagel with cucumber-dill cream cheese. the bagel had nice inside chewiness with nice balance of sweet and saltiness—the outside had a slight crispness. the cucumber-dill cream cheese is thick smooth with a filling fattiness and the cool herby refresher of cucumber and dill. the combo of the everything bagel and the cucumber-dill cream cheese makes for a filling lunch sando when you need something substantial and filling. the space is really clean and well-maintained. there’s some seating in the front. service is pretty average but works for a casual bagel / sandwich place. this is the only bagel spot that i have been to in Bushwick and has been a nice find in the area
Im cutting carbs so I decided to get tunna only. It was dry and had no body. Maybe it was just a day. But ive definitely had better tunna for far less than the cost..
This is usually our favorite bagel spot in the neighborhood because of the freshness and consistency, which is why this experience was surprising and disappointing. When we order online, the bagels are normally prepared and packaged the same way they’re served in store. This time, however, the bagel was wrapped separately in foil with the cream cheese on the side, which wasn’t what we expected, especially when ordering for convenience. If I had time to assemble it myself, I wouldn’t have ordered out. Consistency is a big reason we keep coming back, so this felt off compared to our usual experience. I’m not sure if this reflects a change in how orders are now packaged and prepared, but wanted to share as a heads-up for future customers. Sharing this feedback in hopes it helps maintain the quality and service we’ve come to expect!
came by earlier to get a few bagels and the big guy with a hat and glasses making my food is so rude, caught an attitude with me because I was “ to close to him” and to “ back up you’re to close to me” meanwhile I wasn’t near him at all I’m literally on the opposite side of the glass & told me “ what? you want to kiss me or something? “ the food there is good but this guy has horrible customer service. The cashier told me to ignore him but I hear him mumbling words while I’m paying trying to be slick, I told him while I’m paying theres another guy there close to the glass I don’t know what his deal was picking a fight with me, he told whatever I need to say to come say it to his face all aggressive, stay far away from here if you’re short tempered because he’s going to cause someone to get hurt on of these days, he’s lucky I was in a rush I didn’t have time to entertain him PS: if you’re a manager/ Owner reading this talk to him before he gets hurt talking to someone crazy like that he’s going to talk to the wrong one one day
Ordered two salmon sandwiches with some toppings on an asiago bagel, that was $20+tax /per sandwich. I got literally ONE Slice of salmon per sandwich. Called the place and was told that they usually put 3 slices. Sent my partner over there again only to find out that the person preparing the food has a problem with him and this is the 3rd time this has happened. I wish they could've handled it professionally. With the price I expected more than one slice of salmon, or at least remake my sandwich.
If I could, I would give this place, no stars. The nerve of this place serving gluten free bagels without having a disengaged toaster. Then to make matters worst they charge extra to have gluten free when the size of the damn bagel is a mini. Not to mention they were so hard to chew and had no flavor. The bad bagel indeed!
