Packed as usual so get here early. Food is great as usual. Service takes a little longer due to the crowd. The taste is very close to the authentic ones in Taiwan, for the most part. It was so crowded seats were a little hard to come by, but we grabbed a table before the food arrived. Tried the Mochi donut, the savory soy milk, the Fan Tuan, and the BEC Scallion pancake. Highly recommended, even on a brutally cold day.
BEC scallion pancake sandwich was super delicious! It was definitely heavy though so if you’re not in the mood for that get something else. Tea was also very nice
I had a great breakfast here! Egg & bacon scallion wrap- it was amazing... and shareable. Followed with an almond pastry with filling and an americano (in a glass mug). Everything was perfect. Great employees too. Thank you! p.s. the entrance is behind the bus stop- order at counter and then sit down.
An underrated gem. If you’re a bacon egg and cheese lover like myself, you’ve got to get the scallion pancakes and breakfast sandwich. The light crisp with the moist and steamy center, the fluffy omelette perfectly folded with crispy bacon at the center… then dip it in their magic sauce and voila! This is one of our staple spots for a quick, filling, and delicious breakfast sandwich in the city. You order at the cashier and then pick a spot to eat, when it’s good weather sit outside is a vibe.
Incredible!! Friendly staff, insane menu, cozy atmosphere :) We arrived when they opened at 9am and got a table for 5 💓
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Win Son Bakery is an absolute gem and a must-visit. From the moment you walk in, the energy is warm and welcoming, with the comforting smell of fresh-baked goods filling the space. Every item feels thoughtfully made, blending traditional Taiwanese flavors with a modern twist. The pastries are outstanding—perfectly baked, rich without being heavy, and beautifully balanced in flavor. Standouts like the scallion bun and millet mochi donut are unforgettable, and the savory options are just as impressive as the sweets. Pair anything with their coffee or tea, and you’ve got a perfect bite. Service is friendly and efficient, even when it’s busy, and the atmosphere feels effortlessly cool yet cozy. Win Son Bakery isn’t just a bakery—it’s an experience. I’ll be coming back again and again. Highly recommended.
Great spot!! Delicious scallion pancakes, marinated cucumbers, chicken wontons, and the big chicken bao!! They have an extensive cocktail menu as well as wine and beer. And the dessert.... Fried sweet dough with sesame ice cream and condensed milk.... Can't go wrong!!
This review is about sustainability! ☺️ By 2050, there will be more plastic in the ocean than fish. Which is why I so appreciate, that in this waterfront city, you choose to offer your customers the dignity of real silverware, ceramic mugs, and glasses for water. I love to support businesses that are mindful of our impact on the environment, locally and globally. So thank you for setting an example of how a café can operate sustainably. I hope more local spots follow suit! And of course, delicious food and a perfect cappuccino.
Incredible Taiwanese-American Bakery. Mochi donut is to die for, unlike any other place. The scallion pancake wrapped sandwiches are also killer. My go to is the Juicai package and add bacon and of course, the BEC is yum as well. Lately I tried the shrimp milk bun (available after 3:30) and that was amazing as well. Top tier spot! It is definitely fusion so I wouldn’t go in with expectations for it to be authentic Taiwanese food because that’s just not what it is. Lines are long on the weekends but it does move fast. It’s in my neighborhood so I like to go weekday afternoons after work — if you’re in the area on a weekday it’s perfect and there should be plenty of spots to sit outside.
Win Son Bakery is a true gem in Brooklyn!! everything I've tried has been so good, but I have to give a special shoutout to their BEC scallion pancakes. The pork is insanely flavorful and tender, and the scallion pancake sandwich with bacon, egg, and cheese? A total game-changer. Crispy, savory, satisfying... I could eat it every day. Their menu is creative with bold flavors. Everything is made with care and intention you can really taste it. If you're in Brooklyn and craving something unique and delicious, Win Son Bakery is a must. Trust me go hungry!

Limited vegan menu items so I ended up just ordering a side of scallion pancakes. The chili vinegar sauce it came with was genuinely delicious. My friend got something more substantial and couldn’t finish it. Coffee was good too! I will say the place was bumping. I felt like I was in a nightclub it was so crowded and loud and they were playing really high energy music like in a spin class. There was a slight mix up with the order and it took quite a long time to come up despite the small size. I imagine Saturday mornings are one of their busier times and you can expect that kind of thing. There weren’t enough chairs so I just stood and my friend sat at the counter, which was kinda nice. I didn’t mind.
After getting my hair did, I traypsed over to Win Son. It was brick out so the only remedy would be hot cup of tea! I also wanted something to fill me up, so I ordered their signature double patty Smash Burger. I like that their sandwiches are paired with a hefty salad. The mixed greens are a nice edition to the cheesy, rich Burger. I especially like the citrus dressing on the mixed greens. It's always a vibe when I have a meal here. Folks are sitting by the bar ordering cocktails, others are with family or friends for a quick bite and relaxed conversation. The music is nice and this time the Christmas tree was still displayed and it gave a really great indoor/outdoor ambiance to the icy patches along Graham Avenue...Nice!
I stopped by Win Son for brunch. The line was long, but it moved pretty quickly. I ordered the fried chicken box and it was really good! Well-seasoned, crispy and juicy. I would recommend this place located in the hip neighborhood of Bushwick on Graham Ave. Outdoor seating is also available.
A modern and innovative bakery with strong potential to keep growing. Order: Scallion pancake cheese and egg, mochi donut, fan taun, nian ago sesame fig, jasmine lavender milk tea, latte = $53~ The scallion pancake and mochi donut I've seen meet viral status on social media, for the amount of hype it's received Id say it's more the innovation behind it that's appealing than the taste. Nothing extraordinarily groundbreaking but it's an interesting refreshing twist to try. Same goes to the humble fan taun. What my friend and I mutually agreed is absolutely delicious is the seasonal nian gao fig pastry. Nian gao batter, layered with creamy custard, fig jam and topped with smooth mascoropone cream and figs - WOW. You don't have to be a sweet tooth to enjoy this, you just need to love yourself enough to treat yourself with this. Kudos to the pastry chef. The drinks itself was fine but I felt the food does the storytelling here. I'd revisit to give the menu another shot out of curiosity. This place is for those who want to broaden their taste palette.
EDIT: the Win Son Bakery team responded pretty quickly when I tagged them on socials about the issue I initially posted below. They were actually very kind and rather quick about it (responded same day). They moved just as fast during the refund process (issued it within the same hour I filed my info on a claim). Of course ideally the mix up wouldn’t happen in the first place but their customer service was pretty great after the fact. - I’ve gone to this place a few times and the food is always good and service is usually great but today I had a small off experience. I had gotten up to grab a to go box for the rest of my food. I had maybe been gone literally like 40 seconds and when I came back someone had thrown all the food out. I suppose I could have asked the girls next to me to watch it just in case but I felt like there was a decent amount of food left and one item I wasn’t even really touched (I took one bite of it) and it was thrown out. I think what bothered me the most though was the server who threw it out realized when I was standing there with a new to go box kind of confused and bummed and there wasn’t really an acknowledgement that it was a mistake. He just kind of said “oh I’ll take that,” grabbed my box, and threw that out too…. weird encounter and wasn’t really pleasant. I’m bummed because I paid full price for a food item I didn’t get to really eat and wanted to save for later and it ended up in the garbage.
The food was absolutely delicious! But be prepared to wait forever for a table. After waiting in a long line on a Sunday morning, we finally ordered and were lucky enough to find a table. After another 15/20 minutes, we finally got our coffees. The hot, 5 spice latte was heavenly. The staff were polite but I think management took on too many online orders to serve dining-in customers efficiently.
I was so excited to finally be able to try this girls spot! The bakery is open late which I love, though some items were sold out. The stand out dishes were \n- shrimp burger, absolutely amazin…

this was a bit disappointing, especially with how many good things I've heard about it. I didn't dislike the food at all, it wasn't bad, but I also didn't love it either. the thing is: none of the places I went to in New York have been BAD, but this is one of the places that I won't be going back to. even if I was super craving Taiwanese food, I don't think this place properly satisfies that itch. maybe for people who've never had Taiwanese food before?
What a beautiful place. I think the wonderful service and great vibe earns it a star, but the food was really disappointing, especially for the price. I didn't expect authentic Taiwanese food, but I was surprised at the food that did come out. The scallion pancakes felt more like frozen than they did actual scallion pancakes. The soy milk didn't really taste like soy milk.
I ordered the Jiǔcài scallion pancake ($16), laminated bolo bao ($6), and pinenut sun cookie ($5). \n\nScallion pancake comes with a ginger mayo like sauce. It was okay, it's just the $16 price tag…
I've been going here for years. When they jacked up the price of a BEC from $9 to $12 i sucked it up. But now they've shrunk down the size of their milk buns practically to the size of an Applebees…
