10/10 experience. The new chef Ken is absolutely incredible. The service was top notch. The appetizers, main dish, desert, and drinks were all mouth watering good. If you’re looking for a new date night spot, don’t hesitate to check this place out! Located inside The Brunswick Hotel, it’s definitely a hidden gem.

My friend and I wandered in this magical inn at 10:30 pm, starving after a long drive and harrowing adventure. Our waitress and the owner opened the kitchen back up for us and were the most hospitable, wonderful, and generous. Cannot recommend enough.

So I had not been here for a about a year and a 1/2. But tonight it really exceeded my expectations. The ambience is so romantic. The food is delicious. A fantastic wine list and options. The staff were very professional and accommodating. They were also very helpful when it came to my food allergies (nuts). They all made sure that I was feeling confident and safe in eating here. I Highly recommend the restaurant! 5 stars.

I was a little nervous about this reservation given some of the reviews but it seems like there is a new chef that has really improved things. I had the restaurant week special and everything was very good. I thought the Caesar was good but was missing croutons or something; just something that made it great instead of good. The steak frites were very good. I was impressed by the Demi glacé and the steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare. One negative here: I asked for mayo with the fries and they didn’t have any so they had to upcharge me for garlic aioli. Finally, the maple caramel tart was a great dessert to end the night. Unfortunately they will be undergoing some renovations soon but we will definitely be back when they are complete!

My review: From start to finish, my experience at Noble was fantastic. I had a wonderful girls weekend that was only made better with the delicious food and cocktails at Noble. We were greeted by Miles, the restaurant’s host. He was professional and kind. We were then introduced to our server Ryan. Ryan was knowledgeable, personable, attentive, and patient. I say patient because, girls weekend. We were giggling and probably louder than most patrons. Ryan took it all in stride and joked with us. We ordered several appetizers, half the menu really. My favorite appetizer was the pork belly with kimchi. It was fatty, spicy, crunchy. A perfect combination. For my beverage, I ordered a Hattan Bow Tie, which was absolutely delicious. Tastes similar to an old fashion, but with the volume turned up. For my main course I ordered the dry aged burger with a jowl bacon jam, arugula, brioche bun, and duck poutine. The burger was a perfect balance of salt, fat, sweet, and acid. The jam was the cherry on top. The duck poutine, need I say more? It’s duck poutine! It was salty, savory, and cheesy. Loved every bite. Russell, the food and beverage manager was attentive and knowledgeable. Overall, it was a lovely dinner and I have no doubt that me and my friends will be back.

A few girlfriends and I went to dinner at Noble on our girls weekend and had the best time! As soon as we got there the ambiance and host of the restaurant were so welcoming. Between the 5 of us we tried a few of the drinks on the menu and the Hattan Bow Tie was my favorite, I highly recommend if you like bourbon. We ordered at least five of the appetizers and my favorite was definitely the Wood Ear Mushrooms, the grits and chorizo butter were so creamy and delicious, although I did love many of the items on the charcuterie board as well. I ordered the Butter-Poached Chicken Roulade and not only was the presentation beautiful but the dish was delectable. Our server Ryan was very knowable and attentive to all of our requests. Russell, the food and beverages manager was also very present during our meal and answered all of our many questions. Overall we had an awesome night and will surely be visiting Noble again!

Had an amazing experience both nights I stayed at The Brunswick Hotel. Alli at the bar was excellent, she took care of me both nights. Made great drinks and had perfect recommendations on food and wine. I would definitely recommend going to see her!

I have only had food here a few times and it was always good, but the reason I love this place is the atmosphere. While looking for a cool, friendly place to hang out for a drink we tried a number of places and it was almost always a Goldilocks experience (too much of something, not enough of another, etc.) but Noble was "just right." The bartender, Brandon, is especially fun, and made us feel welcome and included from the first visit. Watching the staff joke with each other, talking to others in the bar area, and enjoying a good drink is a safe bet every time we stop in. I almost hate to tell other people because I might not get a seat if I spread the word, but the place deserves credit.

Excellent all around! Will be sure to be back very soon. Forgot to take pictures of our meals, but the haddock was delightful! Cocktails superb, sticky toffee pudding - dynamite!

I’ve worked with a top-flight restaurant in New York…and I was flabbergasted with the speed of service and the quality of the dinner. This whole place was packed. Everybody had to get to the theater across the street….all at the same time! Shae, my server, was unflappable and efficient….assuming I had to make the same performance, which I did not. BTW, the salmon was prepared flawlessly, by Chef Ken Burkett. I’m absolutely looking forward to my next visit to the Brunswick area.

The staff was outstanding! We requested a place on the patio, but found that it was too windy. Without question, they accommodated us by moving us to an inside table.!Our waitress, Shay, was delightful, very good at meeting our wishes and making recommendations. The food was very good, and the five of us were not disappointed in our choices.

If you haven't been to Noble in a while, it's worth another try. There is a new chef as of mid December 2024 and it is a marked improvement! It was always an acceptable option in Brunswick, but now it is a destination worth seeking out. The food is orders of magnitude better - both the food and drink menu is creative and the service was excellent (Thanks Ashley!). Pre-pandemic, Brunswick had vibrant restaurant selections - but in the past few years, the available restaurants have been "acceptable", but not exciting. Here's hoping the revitalized Noble is a sign of things to come.

New chef- excellent! Everything was delicious- had duck and steak. Cocktails were creative and top notch. (Joshua’s Chamber, Liberty Risk) Tables spaced out so you can have your own space. Light music so you don’t hear others but not so loud you can’t have nice conversation. Best service!!! Attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. Hidden gem here in Brunswick.

We stayed at the Brunswick Inn in Maine the attached restaurant "Noble Kitchen & Bar was great. The staff was friendly and very personable. they made us feel like we we're talking to friends and family. The service was quick and attentive and yherw was never an issue. The food was good and unique, they played of the basic while adding a tasteful element of thier own. For a relaxing evening I would highly recommend this place.

Food and atmosphere are fantastic. Service was attentive, polite and efficient. My salmon and burrata were prepared perfectly and the wine and cocktail list was lovely. The hotel itself is very pretty and had a nice vibe to it. We sat inside and the restaurant and bar area are very comfortable and slightly sophisticated but not too much so, considering we are in Maine. The outdoor area looked comfortable too and several tables were taken up out there as well. My niece ordered the fish and chips and I’d say it was the best I’ve tried . Much better than any fish house I’ve been to. My father loves chowder and he said his was awesome. So all in all, an amazing surprise and we will be returning for sure.

We really enjoyed our time at Noble Kitchen and Bar. It wasn't cheap, but then again, it was delicious, so you get what you pay for, after all. The soup was amazing, and the meals were great overall. The host seemed a bit indifferent (or worse) to our four very well-mannered, quiet children, but I guess maybe he's had quite a few run-ins with kids who weren't so great. So I get it. Our waitress was awesome, however, and she made our night even better.

Delicious dinner! Great menu variety & beautifully plated. The indoor dining room's nice jazz set the tone, yet at the perfect level so you can still hear your friends. 1. Mushroom appetizer is a flavor bomb! 2. Both salads were lightly dressed w/ fresh ingredients 3. Rack of lamb & ribeye cooked to perfection w/ inventive sauces that aren't gloopy. 4. Chocolate verrine is like a pot de crème. Fantastic, & the right amount of sweet, but not so much that your teeth ache. Our server Starlette was very professional, knowledgeable, & friendly. Spacious outdoor patio is a pretty spot, w/ some tables under cover. Noble is inside the Brunswick Hotel, a super cute property. Entrance to the restaurant is either directly off the street, or through the hotel.

The Noble Kitchen is located downstairs in the Brunswick Hotel, where I stayed for a girls weekend and enjoyed a great dinner here. The ambience is upscale, warm and inviting. We were greeted by a friendly host who showed us to our table quickly. Our server Ryan was efficient and very personable and friendly, making personal recommendations on the menu when we were unsure. He was attentive to our needs but also gave us space to enjoy talking and laughing amongst ourselves. There is an extensive drinks and cocktails menu with something for everyone. I enjoyed the Ophelia's Sonnet, which was unlike any cocktail I've had before, I think due to the house infused Fennell Gin which was certainly unique. We ordered several appetizers to share which were all amazing but my personal favorite was the Pork Belly Confit and Wood Ear Mushrooms. I had the short rib for my entrée which was simply perfect. Cooked well and a perfect serving size that I didn't feel it was too much food nor not enough. It was complimented well with the sweet potato and asparagus (the asparagus was a slight menu change for the evening, but very much enjoyed). The food and beverage manager Russell was knowledgeable and attentive. He was extremely gracious when a member of the group sent back a cocktail that wasn't to her liking. Clearly customer service is very important here and that showed with every interaction we had with the staff that evening. Overall this was a great dinner and I would recommend to both groups and couples.

I went to dinner with 5 people at 8pm on a Saturday night here and when we had an issue with the reservation I made they were able to seat us anyway without any problems. Our server Nolan was absolutely top-notch and paid incredible attention to every detail, from the temperatures of the food to the number of garnishes in our cocktails. I got the Caesar salad, which had no business being as good as it was, and the NY steak, which was very very good. I asked for them to recook my steak and bump it up another temperature and when they returned the steak to me they had replated everything in a gorgeous way as though it was the first time they sent out my food. Every single detail of our dinner was perfect I can’t recommend this place enough.

The Noble is very eloquent, dim lights, intimate atmosphere. The staff is very attentive and friendly and ready to serve. We just had a quick bite to eat before heading to our appointment. We had the savory Brussel Sprouts and pumpkin bisque. Both were scrumptious. We would have had more but weren't there long enough.

Dinner before seeing South Pacific at MSMT. We each had a South Pacific cocktail and delicious bread and a salad with beets and one had scallops and the other the cod loin. The food and service was outstanding! And just before we finished some of the cast of the show sang a couple of songs. A wonderful evening! A local resident Alna

We had a girls weekend in Maine and stayed overnight at the Brunswick Hotel. Noble is the in house restaurant and it did not disappoint. The ambiance is upscale casual; great for our group but this would also be romantic for a date night. There was a pianist playing, which was fun but didn’t get in the way of our conversation. We felt well cared for by Ryan, our server and Russell, the Food & Beverage Director. The cocktail list had something for everyone, I personally would recommend Opposites Attract for anyone who enjoys a great bourbon cocktail. For a starter I had the pork belly confit with house made kimchi. The kick of the kimchi perfectly balanced the richness of the pork belly and the crunch was phenomenal. My meal was the black cod loin with vichyssoise. The cod was moist with crisp skin and presented beautifully in a pool of vichyssoise that brought a nice depth of flavor. The golden beet relish rounded out the dish with a subtle brightness. I finished with the pink peppercorn pavlova which was a fun surprise. The crisp meringue had just the slightest touch of pepper, creating a a nice take on the traditional dessert. The blood orange curd was perfect for a winter dessert. Overall we had a wonderful night. Russell and Ryan were attentive and interactive without interrupting our evening. I would definitely recommend to groups and couples alike and will certainly return the next time I’m in the area.

So. Good. 'Had dinner there with a couple friends last weekend and can't stop thinking about it (especially the lemon tart I had for dessert, wowsa). Delicous. The warm, professional service made was a key part of the evening for us -- wine choices and service set the tone (thanks Russell, thanks Ryan). The little things made for a big happy experience for us -- can't wait to go back.

Beautiful bar and restaurant. Friendly, professional staff. I enjoyed a Caesar salad with Salmon and a delicious cocktail-the Pink Cadillac. The grilled scallops were deli’s with grits that were very tasty and flavorful. Outside seating is available. There is a fire pit on the deck and seating all around. Upbeat, friendly, local.

I had an exceptional experience during my visit. The salmon was nothing short of incredible—perfectly cooked, rich in flavor, and beautifully presented. Every bite was delicious! The newly remodeled inside and outside introduced is absolutely stunning—modern, elegant, and a true visual treat that elevates the dining atmosphere. Our experience was also outstanding because of our server, Shay. Her energy and professionalism set the tone for the entire evening, making the atmosphere feel both welcoming and elevated. Shay truly went above and beyond to ensure our evening was special. Highly recommend!! I’ll absolutely be returning soon!

Had the Lobster risotto cakes and they were amazing. Our service was stellar, we sat outside the waitstaff were attentive and our food was served piping hot. The Pink Cadillac was perfection. I’m so glad my husband suggested trying it I am sure we will be back.

My wife and I have lived in Bath for 3 years and tonight was our first time trying Noble. The food was fantastic! Also their fire place area in the outdoor space was so nice for an after dinner glass of wine. We had Shae and she was a spectacular server! She gave amazing recommendations and made sure we had the best experience. Such a great night!

A 4 rating because of the exceptional server, Shannon! Otherwise we experienced the same problem as past summer season. An overwhelmed kitchen, out of menu items and seemingly oblivious to fact that in summer their customers are headed to MSMT show!

Everything was tasty. Shishitos and Brussels were excellent. All the food was expertly seasoned and portions were generous. The charcuterie board was the only dish that was lacking. Not in flavor, but composition. It was supposed to be a variety of local cured meats (from the sous chef's company), and although delicious, all I got was a pile of smoked ham. A couple of gherkins, a pithy amount of bread and a dollop of fig or Quince paste. Compared to the rest of the meal, it just wasn't up to par with the rest, but again, the meat itself was fantastic. Finished up with lavender creme brulee which was on point. Great wine list, good beer selection and a very cozy patio. Server was very sweet and attentive. Will definitely be back.

Very pretty patio. Loved the outdoor fireplace….it is Maine after all! Tuna app was wonderful! Will return to have that for sure. Salmon app was toooooo salty. Whoa cut salt please. Merlot by the glass was pretty good. We had another small issue and the waitress handled it beautifully. Well done Anastasia ! She was terrific. We will try again. Worth it!

We made a reservation for Tuesday night at 6:30. When we arrived our table was not ready, we waited approximately a half hour. Our server Kathy was amazingly kind and prompt . She was the star of our dining experience. The food was excellent! I had the salmon, it was cooked perfectly! The flavor combination on the plate was perfect for my taste. My wife had the ravioli with mushroom ragu. So good!! We live in Harpswell and dine at Noble 2 or 3 times a year.

It was over $400 for two people for Valentine’s Day. Our table was in the hotel lobby and not in the restaurant. It felt like they took outdoor tables and chairs and put them inside. They were not comfortable and people inside the restaurant were more comfortable and cozy and had a piano player. If you book a reservation make sure it’s actually in the restaurant. They should take less reservations if they cannot accommodate appropriately. Our flower on the table kept falling in the hole where you would put the umbrella. If I knew our table was in the lobby upfront I would have booked somewhere else. There was music and better atmosphere inside the restaurant. The food was delicious, but we were missing items on the desert dish. Staff was friendly! I expected more for $200+ per person.

My sister and I had a very uneven meal at Noble last night. I'd eaten there once before and found it excellent - giving Portland a run for the money. It was great to have a reserved table as the summer crowds can make things unpredictable. But last night was a real disappointment. Things got off to a good start - our server was excellent and we had a fantastic Oregon Pinot Noir by the glass. The starter (Buratta with Roasted Vegetables and Crispy Bread chunks) was delicious, as was the bread and smeared butter plate. Sadly it went downhill from there. We ordered the Succotash vegetarian entree to share and both thought it was inedible. We actually sent it back and weren't charged for it. The creamy corn, lima, and potato layer of the Succotash was quite sweet from the corn, but it also came served with a HUGE dollop of tomato jam. Yes, jam. Almost a cupful. Seriously? There were chanterelles in the sauce as well which was tragic because they were overwhelmed by all the sweetness and we couldn't even taste them. Our second strike out was the Chocolate Verrine desert - which I know has been on the menu for a while. I can't imagine why. After a first bite my sister laughed and said it tasted like a Taystee pudding from Hannaford. (How would she know that? Oh, well.) The white chocolate layer on top was too sweet and the chocolate layer underneath didn't taste of chocolate and the texture was not pleasant. Gluggy. I'm a seriously good cook, I sometimes private chef, and I'm a food writer. I'm being brutally honest here because I want someone at Noble to read this and fix things. I know they've made a big push to upgrade the dining situation recently but apparently they're not quite there yet. Brunswick needs a fine dining option which we sorely lack right now. We have a herd of informal, international, and Asian places but not much at the high end for a special evening out.

Entrees were excellent 👌 Starters were mid and uninspired which left the experience feeling overpriced. Lemon tart tasted good but it was essentially a cookie with some lemon sauce. Beautiful spot and classic atmosphere. Cocktails were strong and delightful 😊

Went to Valentines Dinner Friday Night ($68/person + Drinks) Service and music was excellent, but Filet Mignon was RAW. I asked ahead to get it Medium and they said NO choice, everything is cooked Medium Rare. See picture this is NOT medium rare. Wine pour was stinky too.

This miniscule bowl of bouillabase cost $44!! And a few tiny pieces of bread to sop up the liquid were an extra $7! Others were also ☹️ disappointed.

M
Meg Mikrut

The service was lovely - our server was great. The appetizers were wonderful. The main course was TERRIBLE. We ordered many different things, all of which were completely inedible. The steak was severely under cooked & didn’t even appear to be the right cut. The chicken tasted like they didn’t even bother with salt. The bouillabaisse was disgusting. Incredibly disappointing after such great appetizers & cocktails. Absolutely would not recommend.

We were disappointed in the 2021 New Years Eve four course meal after having a great experience two years prior for the 2019 New Years Eve four course meal. The portions were sparse. The desert portion for the chocolate sponge cake was literally a one spoonful portion with poor texture and lack of taste and the panna cotta had no taste. The overall experience was far from satisfying and we won’t be back. We wish we had an experience like the first time in 2019 when we were there, for that waiter was friendly and humorous and the food was great at that time.

I went here for a birthday and was profoundly disappointed. Food was mediocre and over priced. Got the tacos and the burger, would get neither again. I think that if the prices were cut in half it would almost be palatable. Drinks were pretty weak. Won’t be going back. Although, the hotel attached has free cookies that are delicious.

I just left Noble and to be honest I was very dissapointed with the new menu. My burger was excellent, but my wife ordered the scallops and It was terrible. For 44 dollars we got 3 scallops on top of the worst "risotto" I've ever seen in my life. It was a solid lump. I went to school for the culinary arts and I was taught to make risotto by a world class chef. I have seen better risottos from students who burned it and salvaged it. We complained and they refused to do anything besides offer a side of fries. It's clear that this establishment is attempting some sort of high class fine dining but is not living up to my expectations at all. There is quite a bit of steep competition in the area for good food. I won't be coming back. P.S: If you want to see what a real good risotto looks and tastes like then go to Enoteca Athena. Edit: the host was great and the server was great, it's just a shame to pay 180 dollars for a dinner and have my wife leave dissapointed and hungry...

S
Soul Soul

I'd like to start off by saying our waiter was AMAZING. He was stellar. Our food was mediocre. Was definitely not worth the price we paid. The mushrooms tasted like it was drenched in white vinegar. Worse was when we sat out side by the fire to enjoy our drinks and at 8:45 pm a waiter came out to turn the fire off, he closed everything down. So disappointing. This is a town that is only open a few months a year. It would be nice if it was open a little longer during the summer (mid-June) so we and anyone else could enjoy the evening. The other couples had to leave too. So upsetting.

S

I went for dinner Tuesday night with my husband. I was excited at the prospect of trying Noble's new supposedly more up scale menu but left sorely disappointed. We order the brussels sprout appetizer and that was delicious, nice and crispy with adequate seasoning. For the main course I ordered the butternut squash risotto with scallops. For $44 I got three scallops and a plate of gummy mush with blanched unseasoned brussels sprouts. As you can see from the attached photo, my risotto (typically a creamy dish) could be molded into a tower. When the waiter came back to ask how everything was I explained that the scallops were great but the risotto was unlike any I'd ever had and was gummy in texture. I tried to eat it but it was disgusting, the butternut squash was in chunks throughout the dish and it was like eating a plate of too cheesy overcooked rice-a-roni. I've made better risotto myself out of a box and I am not a professional chef, although I do work in hospitality management and the way this establishment decided to handle my complaint is appalling. When I voiced my concern to the waiter he asked what I'd like him to do about it, I told him that I would like the dish to be discounted (50% off) because I did eat the scallops but I wasn't able to stomach the risotto nor did I think it was worth the hefty price tag. He refused to discount it, never offered to remake it and offered me a side of fries to make up for the $44 dollars I spent on my dinner. I refused because a side of fries does not make up for the money I wasted on what was supposed to be a nice night out, something we only indulge in once in a while. Next time I'll just go to Enoteca Athena if I want some decent food and some quality customer service. To make a long story short, not at all worth the money. Obviously they're trying to execute a high class restaurant for the money without investing in training their employees to produce that quality of food.

I was so excited to go and have a nice new year's meal. I was sorely disappointed 😞. The portions were ridiculously small. The salad was bland as was the dessert. The waitress told us the original menu was "too expensive " and that's why it had changed. Why she thought it was okay to relay this to us was disturbing. We are foodies and eat out at many nice restaurants and in my opinion the meal costing $60 a plate was not worth $10's. We had to go to the pub next door to eat another meal. Made our new year's disappointing and we won't be back.. ever.

Our server on Saturday 2/21 breakfast was the rudest person ever. We sat at 9:40am and she literally rolled our eyes when we said other family members were meeting us. Everyone was there before 10am and she said "you have 5 minutes to get in your order". So we ordered and she seemed so put out by us - ketchup, cups for coffee, more water. I feel bad that her life is so terrible. Our trip to Maine was perfect besides our experience with her.

J
Jeffrey Tuttle

Went for after work drinks with 10 people and ordered three small apps. Everyone had a couple of drinks and we required very little service. Each of us was hit with a 20% large party charge. We will never be back and will make sure to share this experience with many others.
