Our pizza was delicious and the crust was made just to our taste & shaped in a heart. We were going to dine in on Valentine's day. But weather was getting worse decided to do take out. Will visit again.
We had a wonderful departmental event at Mr. G's on February 19th, 2026, and it was fantastic! Graduate students, faculty, and staff gathered together for our yearly Spring Social, and it couldn’t have been a better venue. We booked the upstairs room, and it has absolutely everything you need for your next event. There’s lots of space (it can accommodate about 100 people) and plenty of entertainment—two pool tables, wall ring toss, Jenga, a foosball table, a small baseball area for little kids, darts, board games, and more. There was something for everyone. Needless to say, Mr. G's pizza is amazing! They offer so many varieties and were able to accommodate all of our participants, including those with dietary restrictions. We all truly enjoyed the food, the atmosphere, and the service—Mr. G’s team did an amazing job. They rock!
Everyone is super friendly and customer service is at its best here.!!! 10/10 and I will be coming again and again! Also, I got show off my piano skills on their piano 👌🏾 so yeah, awesome.! That guy with the red stripe in his hair is soooo cool and down to earth.! There’s also this short lady with glasses, I like her too.!!
Great food. Order was accurate and ready when promised. Service was terrific; the hostess even carried my pizzas to the car for me so I could hold my baby’s carrier.
Nice little staple around Bryan/College Station. It was fairly empty in midday. Our waiter was attentive and quick. I wish I had more time to play pool but the food was great anyway.
Some of the best pizza in America! It's rare to find pizza like this! I like a good white pizza myself, and I like chicken and spinach on it. Their ice creams are also really good. They might be made in house? Get the bourbon icecream. It's legendary.
If you haven’t been to Mr. G’s Italian Pizzeria yet, you’re seriously missing out on one of the best dining experiences in town. Let me tell you, their thin crust pizza is hands down the best I’ve ever had. Perfectly crisp, just the right amount of toppings, and bursting with flavor. And the calzones? Oh. My. Goodness. These things are massive. I’m talking about a golden, baked-to-perfection bundle of cheesy, meaty goodness that will make you question all other calzones. Trust me, one of these will fill you up, but you’ll still want to go back for more because they’re just that good. But wait, the dessert. THE TIRAMISU. I’m a dessert lover, and their tiramisu is absolutely divine. It’s creamy, rich, and hits that perfect balance of sweetness and espresso—pure perfection in every bite. As if the food isn’t enough, the vibe at Mr. G’s is unbeatable. Head upstairs, and you’ll find free pool tables! Yes, you read that right—FREE. It’s such a fun way to hang out with friends while waiting for your food or just to make the night even better.
We’ve had a slice from here before when we have been here for 1st Friday, but our first dining in experience and very impressed! I am a pizza freak so I ordered the veggie specialty slice and my husband (being Italian himself) went for the Italian sub. Slices are huge! It was loaded with my selected toppings and the crust was perfectly crispy. The sub had your typical Italian meats and cheeses but the bread 🤭was light, fluffy and toasted, and made the sub really stand out from any other I’ve had. Of course we had the gelato 🍨, it too was outstanding! 😋 The staff, atmosphere, and serve was stellar! Glad we made the choice to dine in. What a great time!
Great customer service. I don't know if they actually have the best pizza 🍕 in the world, but their pizza is really good. And service is awesome. I like it is not very crowded. They have an opportunity for improvement in the restroom. They have pool tables in the second floor which makes it interesting. Not the fanciest place but I Love this place in downtown Bryan.
Everything to the Decorations the music the staff was amazing I went with my wife to try something new and boy! Was it a wonderful experience. My wife got a slice of pizza and it was the best we had ever had it was not pricey at all very affordable and very delicious.! If you want to go out to have a good time Mr. G's Pizza in downtown Bryan is the spot to go.! Keep up the good work guys!
I just can’t say enough about Mr G’s Pizzeria. We had our America’s Choice Roofing Christmas Party there. Everything was outstanding! Susan and I planned and talked about everything as the date approached and it all turned out perfect! She decorated beautifully, not only the tables, but Christmas tree and lights everywhere. The food was wonderful! Appetizers, pizza, chicken Parmesan, tortellini and dessert. We also had the limited bar right there upstairs. She gave us numerous options and provided guidance throughout. Everyone loved it! We’ll see our new friends soon for lunch too!
I’m technologically challenged or I would have figured out how to write a rave review a long time ago! Mr. G’s is out favorite place in Downtown Bryan. The atmosphere is happy and nostalgic, and the pizza delicious. In fact, we love it so much that we chose to have our son’s wedding reception there! It was SOOO much more affordable, the upstairs was decorated beautifully, and the owners bent over backwards making the occasion a precious time for friends and family. We had a mariachi band come, and we enjoyed dancing and fun, salad, pizza, appetizers, drinks, and dessert. You won’t be sorry!!!😊
One of the few places I've found a gluten free pizza in BCS! Usually very good but can be inconsistent, sometimes a little under baked and one time very over done.
Well we decided to celebrate with our first dinner out in more than a year. We went to our favorite pizza place. We ordered the sangria. I know but the pitcher just checked too many boxes. Doesn’t my mom look happy? The sangria was sweet and tasty with just a little tang. It was surprisingly strong. The fried ravioli were a bit spicy and the marinara was flavorful and didn’t taste like it came from a jar. The Greek salad was different. It had kalamata olives and the dressing was spot on. The lettuce just a bit different. All in all it was good. The caprese was good. The tomatoes were cut into wedges so it was a little hard to eat. The cheese was good quality and the balsamic was wonderful. The pizza was delicious. Lots of toppings and great quality meat. The service was top notch and they checked on us regularly. We missed dessert but will try it next time. If you are in Bryan don’t miss this place. It’s worth a stop.
Where do I start….Mr. G’s Pizza has been on my Want To Go list for at least 4 years now. Well this past Sunday (10/27/24), I finally got to try their food and I must say I was thoroughly unimpressed. So boom, before I talk about the food let’s talk about the customer service….baby the poor waiter was struggling. It took someone 5 mins to even greet us… then another 2 for seating. Now granted, we did come 30 mins before closing, which we were unaware of, especially being first time customers, but still customer service should be consistent throughout the day. Then, once seated it took him about 15 mins to come back and take our order after he told us to get our order in quick before the kitchen closes, so that was ironic. Then, once we noticed our food was on the table…I asked him for ranch and he didn’t come back until someone else had to get him. So to sum it up, it wasn’t their best day when it came to customer service. Now, the food…let me just say for the first time ever; I wished I was eating Little Caesars pizza, which my family knows is my least favorite pizza. But let’s just say Mr. G’s pepperoni pizza is now my least favorite pizza. Now, I would be willing to try them out again after researching their menu and socials if available to see which menu items are popular. All in all, I give Mr. G’s pepperoni pizza a 4 out of 10 rating. The flavor just wasn’t it for me and the ranch also wasn’t a taste I was familiar with. Now, on to the reason why I gave them 3 stars, well that’s because they had a haunted house on the second floor and my kids thoroughly enjoyed it. So I’m very appreciative of them for doing that. And when I thought we were going to have to pay; the waitress who told us about it said she would take it out of her tip and I thought that was a very beautiful show of kindness towards customers. She went the extra mile, but I’m glad it was free of charge. I hope that I can try them in the future and give them a better rating.
We sat down on a Saturday night and waited about 30min for most of our food to come out, which is completely understandable. However, they forgot my order and it took another HOUR for my pizza to come out. It’s one thing to forget an order and another thing to do nothing to make sure it comes out as fast as possible to try to make it right. Then they had to audacity to require a 20% tip as we were a group of 12 and add a 3% credit charge surcharge. There isn’t a credit card in the world that charges a restaurant 3%. At least the pizza was good when it finally came out.
This place is loosing their touch. Service took a while, the pizza had no cheese. I asked for a slice that had more cheese and they just threw cheese on the same slice and baked it again....it was basically a cracker by the time it left the oven. I asked for a fresh slice and they rushed it through the oven so I ended up with a floppy mess. Dont disrespect the slice. Also, avoid the meatballs, theres something off about them. Definitely not worth the 3 dollars per meatball. RIP, Mr gs. Ill miss ya.
We made a pick-up order. The kitchen messed up our toppings and forgot the drinks paid for with our order. We called the establishment and were met with a dismissive manager who offered no reasonable solutions to their mistake. The manager kept coming up with excuses and never was accountable for any of the mistakes made. The call ended with the manager saying “okay” and hanging up. Okay pizza but the service was horrible, do not recommend at all
If I could, I would give 0 stars. Our order never arrived, we waited more than 1 hour for it, and we already had waited 30 minutes to order. They still made us pay it.. Wouldn't reccomend this place to anybody. Definitely not the "Best pizza in the world", probably not even the best of the street.
We are regulars at this place and we get pizzas pretty often here. Our order is mostly half cheese and half supreme and they always get the half cheese wrong ( they either put pepperoni or chicken on it). Tonight we ordered half cheese and half supreme again and when I got there after 15 minutes of waiting they finally came to me and asked me for my order and once they gave me the pizza, i saw half pepperoni and half supreme again! They said that they would make a new one and after waiting for another 15 mins they finally gave me the new one which wasn’t even baked in and it seemed like they just gave me a complete cheese pizza and just spread the ingredients of supreme pizza on it and didn’t even put it in the oven! Even the meat wasn’t cooked!! We are very disappointed as this is becoming a regular thing and we really like the food but stuff like this keeps happening and the fact that they didn’t even bake our pizza is just really unacceptable!
