Top tier. Authentic, flavorful tacos. Great place all around with a cozy feel. Staff is great and is there to make food and spread good vibes.
We were in town visiting family and tried this inconspicuous spot. So glad we did! Got a variety of items off the menu and hands down one of the best Al pastor and Birria tacos I've had In a long time. Will definitely hit the spot again when we come back to Buffalo.
We love the tacos and nachos. A huge selection of drinks. Everyone is friendly. It’s authentic and delicious. I highly recommend. It’s also very affordable
Always solid. The taste, quality and efficiency of the service here is top shelf. I've had just about every taco they have, and have never had an inconsistent meal. In addition to the tacos, you can't leave without snagging some rice and beans to go along with them. The drink selection is wildly extensive, and if you like cooking Mexican cuisine at home, you'll come across hard to find items on the back wall. If you need assistance in ordering anything, Alexis at the register is wonderful and willing to help out. Do yourself a favor and hit up La Divina.
Love this place. They have some of the best, most consistent birria tacos around! They serve their birria with plenty of consumme and have a self-serve condiment bar to add all of the toppings your heart desires. Their tacos are super beefy and stuffed with meat. I asked for mine well done this time, and that will definitely be the move for future visits.
“La Divina Tacos: A Touchdown for My Taste Buds” I walked into La Divina Tacos the way Notre Dame walks into South Bend on a crisp fall Saturday—confident, hungry, and ready for glory. I wasn’t just here for lunch. No, my friends. This was a mission. A mission to find tacos worthy of a victory parade down Notre Dame Avenue. I ordered three tacos—two beef, one chicken—because even the greatest offenses need a balanced playbook. When that plate hit the table, it was like watching the Fighting Irish run out of the tunnel, the band playing, the crowd roaring, the heavens parting. The beef tacos? Absolute Heisman contenders. Tender, juicy, and seasoned like a perfectly executed goal-line stand. Each bite hit harder than a Notre Dame linebacker. I swear I heard the faint echo of the Victory March after my first bite. The chicken taco came in like a freshman quarterback who surprises everyone on the first drive of the season—light, flavorful, and unexpectedly electric. A real game-changer. The tortilla had just the right amount of chew, like turf under cleats on a crisp October afternoon. Service was faster than a well-timed blitz, and friendlier than a tailgate crew handing you a bratwurst. The staff had the kind of energy that makes you believe in miracles… or at least in extra guac. By the end of the meal, I felt like I’d just watched Notre Dame beat USC in the final seconds—satisfied, proud, and maybe a little emotional. If Lou Holtz were here, he’d probably tear up and whisper, “That’s taco football right there.” La Divina Tacos didn’t just serve me lunch—they gave me a fourth-quarter comeback for my soul. I’ll be back faster than a Notre Dame fan saying “This is our year.”
my favorite place in the area to get birria tacos!! the quesadillas are also amazing. The service is always great and everything’s always nice & clean. 10/10 definitely an establishment worth supporting!
Great tacos for an affordable price! We got a mix of vegetarian and meat option tacos. Enjoyed the potatoes and poblano taco and asada taco the most! Nice assortment of fresh pico, onions, cilantro, and salsa. Wide selections of sodas and jarritos. We tried the mango and guava Boing drinks. Tasty desserts, highly recommend the tres leches cake!
La Divina is the kind of establishment I appreciate the most. Located in what seems to be a former butcher shop or deli, it's just a little small for the large, dimly lit space. It gives it that beautiful liminal feeling of making life happen wherever it fits, like a hermit crab living in a past creature's shell. It may sound silly, but the vibe keeps me coming back just as much as the food does. And wow, the food is great. They also have Mexican sodapops!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ If I could give La Divina Tacos six stars, I would! Hands down some of the best tacos I’ve ever had. I tried the al pastor and lengua, and both were packed with incredible flavor—perfectly seasoned, tender, and cooked to perfection. But the real game-changer? The ribeye with grilled onions. It wasn’t even in the shot, but trust me, it was next-level delicious. Every bite was juicy, smoky, and just melted in my mouth. On top of that, the tortillas were fresh, the salsas had the perfect kick, and the whole experience was just chef’s kiss. If you’re a taco lover, you owe it to yourself to check this place out. La Divina truly lives up to its name!
Delicious and quesadillas & highly recommend the tongue or fish tacos.\n\nFast and quick service delivered with a smile.

Great tacos at a fair price, especially on taco Tuesdays. For a minimart style it's pretty good there

Fresh ingredients with a simple effective menu and a clean, wide open dining space and a smiling face behind the counter. Oh and the food was great too- the flavor was excellent and the tacos were …
i love it here! the food is absolutely amazing, the birria tacos & chicken quesadilla are my favorite but everything I've had is great. The service is wonderful and everything is always very clean.…
By far the best barbacoa tacos ! The birra taco was divine ! Best since we were in Cancun! Nice clean cafeteria! Pleasant staff! You won't be disappointed
Amazing tacos! Their Burria tacos are fantastic. Awesome food, quite ambiance. The service is great for what it is. You order at the counter and they call you when it's ready. Simple and easy
WOW! I really enjoyed their taco. I had pulled pork and my husband had fish taco. We both though that was the best taco we ever had

I had chicken and brisket tacos today and they were amazing! Great flavour, great options, and very reasonable. Will definitely be back!
Probably tied for a second for my second favorite taco place than Buffalo. The carne asada tacos were definitely the best of what I had. The meat was extremely well seasoned and held its own in the taco. The fish taco was fine. And I wish there was a little bit more pineapple on my al pastor. Honestly, probably the best bang for your buck when it comes to Hispanic food around Buffalo
Update: Thank you for the clarification. The food was excellent! Staff at the counter did not mention extra price for cheese and sour cream and just asked if I would like to add them. Unfair to the customer to have costs added to the food without their full knowledge or before knowing. It shows up on the screen after, but the staff should inform guests that it will have an additional charge.
Maybe it was an off day. But seems like the quality has slid. The original taqueria in Buffalo. It's changed up quite a bit since the last time I was there, unfortunately the salsa bar is not as well labeled as it once was. Food is excellent, but as the popularity of the place has grown, so has the price. Now for three tacos and a drink you're talking 15 to $20. Fast service, and the place is regularly cleaned.
All the meat is boiled no flavor extremely basic food nothing to write home about and they don't take cash

Incredible food. Quality ingredients with a dining room with tons of character. Very good.

Been coming here regularly for the tacos Al Pastor which are usually really good. Came in a few days ago and there’s a sign saying they no longer take cash (lol). I ordered anyways and the pork was cold and dry like it had been sitting out all day. AND the tortillas were very stale. I eat here a lot and never had such bad tacos. Maybe an off day but that’s 3 strikes at once. Suddenly refusing cash payment is the perfect kicker. I am never coming back.
We got the birria tacos with the consommé and one Al pastor taco - pretty tasty. The restaurant has a casual vibe where you order a the register and pick up your food from the chef fresh. There's…
Good, but it has definitely gone down hill from when they opened. Corn tortillas are now bought from Chicago, WTF? , topping bar is ok , place is clean, Their Flans the best , I've ordered from eve…
I got the asada, lengua, and al pastor with pineapple tacos. While the lengua was tender, there was no actual flavor to it and the tortillas were very soggy. Actually, tortillas were soggy for all of the tacos. They were sitting in a literal pool of juice. Unfortunately, it was not flavorful. Asada was unseasoned… just flavorless boiled beef it seems. Al pastor had zero trace of pineapple in it, but it was the most flavorful one. I did like that they had a self serve bar for all the toppings and salsas. Staff were nice. However, that did not make up for the lackluster food.
I was excited because it had high reviews but now I see it is only people who don’t know what a real authentic mexican taco is that left good reviews. The reason authenticity is a point of criticism here is due to the logo saying “authentic”. If they hadn’t claimed to be authentic that would be a different story. I ordered the barbacoa tacos, birria tacos, y barbacoa nachos. The meat that came with those dishes was all the same meat, and it was not birria meat nor barbacoa. Whatever meat it was wasn’t bad, but also not good. The consome was not consome it was just watered down beef broth. They ask if you are ok with lettuce and sour cream on your tacos when you order (I declined politely) which is about the most inauthentic thing I’ve ever heard of on tacos. This place wouldn’t last a day anywhere in Texas. The folks working are kind and friendly plus the papeles hanging made me feel at home a bit. Also the portions are big but if the food is bad then that doesn’t really matter. Source- from Texas
RUDEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! First off when I ordered the guy repeated my order in Spanish which I do not speak or understand. Then when the Order was ready, I confirmed my number which was number 4 and the lady gave me such an attitude talking down to me saying how that was my order. The order got written down wrong and instead of apologizing and making it right, they were confrontational saying how that was what I ordered. It may have just been miscommunication I’m not sure but the whole situation could have been handled more civil and not aggressive on their part. Not the way to talk to a paying customer who spent 30 DOLLARS on tacos. Completely unprofessional and rude behavior.
Used to be great about two years ago. Would serve up until they closed knowing they had long lines now they hired new workers and they are your typical food workers. Can’t wait to lock that door at 730 when they close at 8…not to mention the food has went downhill. It’s terrible now every barria taco is trash and burned. Start the timer till they go out of buisness at this point. Myself and 3 other customers tried to enter at 740 and they had locked the doors standing there staring at us…
I went out to La divina tacos today for a nice Sunday dinner after Sunday service and the most happened. I’ve never seen a manager confront a employee to fight and infront of customers. From where I was two girls started yelling at the guy from what it looked like was just coming in. My dinner was ruined with all the yelling and screaming and cursing. I drew the line when I seen the manager put his face on his employees face.very very disappointed for such a nice place to enjoy with friends and family. Two thumbs down for me on this one…food was excellent but was ruined
