Stumbled upon this place while working in Pasadena for a convention. The reviews were promising and they had no wait at 10am so we reserved a spot. Had the waffles combo which came with eggs, potatoes and bacon. Everything was fresh and delicious. I will definitely return if ever in the area and I do recommend it to anybody seeking a satisfying meal for a reasonable price.

Finally visited for lunch after hearing about it from friends, and we will be back! Friendly service (my little one got a balloon which was a nice touch), nice ambiance, food was yummy & fresh. The only thing missing is a kids menu, but our 3yo very much enjoyed the fluffy pancakes and fruit. Lavender latte was fun and tasty too.

Very good food, good ambience, priced amazing and live music to boot. Will definitely come back. Extremely dog friendly. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. I think I found my new spot.😊

Perfect lunch sitting outside. Got the Tuna Avacado sandwich and the Chicken Schnitzel sandwich with sweet potatoe fries and Potatoe Garbonzo Bean Vegi Soup, with Watermelon Lemonade to wash it all down. DELICIOUS! We will be back!

This cafe is so cute! The aesthetic is classic cafe meets modern. Definitely super fun. The service was great and it’s has ample parking. Located in Burbank it’s a great breakfast, lunch or dinner option. We received great and speedy service.

Came here for valentines. Did not really know what to expect, but was surprised at how amazing the food was. Really warm staff and the restaurant was clean and modern. Recommend the Avocado rolls. Steak was also very yummy.

Amazing time here at BB Cafe! We arrived between 12pm-1pm for brunch. We were immediately greeted and were allowed to sit anywhere we’d like, both outside and inside. We ordered the Waugh burger that was DELICIOUS, very flavorful and tasty. We ordered matcha pancakes that were perfect! Overall great place and highly recommend

Went here on a Monday morning with a group of six people and we were seated right away. Everytime we go to LA, we pass by here during the weekend and its always packed so we decided to give it a try and I am glad we did. I got a hazelnut coffee and I did not expect the presentation, but I was like wow and it was delicious. I ordered the lavender pancakes and they were amazing. They had just the right amount of lavender and the fluffiness of the pancakes were good. My son ordered the chicken nuggets and even though they looked dry, they were good. The service was great. I am definitely coming back to try out more dishes.

Great place, always warm and friendly staff, however, I found it amusing, borderline insulating to be told this was an English muffin I ordered with my breakfast, when it was clearly a toasted hamburger bun. The girls quickly resolved the issue and replaced my hamburger bun with another bread. Please, next time be up front if you are out of items while being ordered instead of replacing it with something completely different hoping the customer doesn’t notice. I will definitely be back as a customer , just had to share this little mishap. With the price of breakfast these days, i expect GREAT Service and my food to be EXACTLY what I order.

BB Café was a lovely experience. Walking into the restaurant, through the large double doors, it feels like you're walking into a museum. Everything is so pristine, meticulous, clean and polished. I have rarely walked into more pristine restaurants. Immediately, we were greeted by the server who was busy helping customers. She allowed us to sit wherever we wanted, quickly brought us menus and got our drinks order. She helped other customers then came back and checked on us a few minutes later to see if we were ready to order. My family ordered Belgian waffles, French toast, but I had a very hard time deciding what to order. This is not due to a lack of items that I can consume, but because there were so many options. Everything looked good. I was not feeling very hungry so I asked what the soup of the day was. Audrey, the server said that it was vegan lentil. That made me very happy, because that's my favorite soup. Vegan lentil means it is non-dairy, which is exactly what I'm looking for. I've had lentil soup at other restaurants and it made me very sick because apparently they packed it with butter and milk, which normally does not go into lentil soup. I asked if I could order a side of chicken breast. She said yes! Again, this made me very happy, because it means that the restaurant is willing to work with the customer as far as preferences. They don't restrict them here like some other places. I was also happy to find out that a side of grilled chicken breast was only six dollars! That of course might change as you're reading this article, but for the time that I ordered it, this is very competitive and affordable. My soda came in a very appetizing, clean, spot free glass cup. This is one of those quirky things that I'm particular about. I never really complain about it, but when someone brings me a cup that's spotty or dirty, it makes the drink not very appetizing. Well, BB Café did not do that! They brought the soda in the loveliest, cleanest and most impeccable glass cup that I've seen. It made me want to drink the soda. 😊 It only took about 10 minutes for the meal to be served. It gave me just enough time to go outside and film all of the videos and photos of the outdoor seating. When the server brought the meal, I honestly had to take a step back. Everything looked so delicious, so manicured and well-placed, so beautifully plated that it made me wish I could eat sugar and white flour again. Maybe someday in heaven. 🙏🏼 My family was very courteous and allow me to film some of their meals, then we dug in. It was delicious! And as I make this article, I'm happy to say that no element of that meal made me queasy, sick or heavy. This means that nothing was cooked with grease, fake oils or had dairy added to it. I know that sometimes restaurants add oils, dairy products and other things to enhance the flavor of their food. I know that's not usually a problem because most people do not have allergies to these things. But when the restaurant keeps their food clean, it makes it a lot easier for people like me. I really appreciated the cleanliness of the food. My family polished off their meal in just a few minutes. The food was so good, they said. And they are discerning and very particular when it comes to their breakfast foods, even when consumed at night for dinner. We were happily surprised that the meal was very affordable at around $20 per person not counting the chai latte. It was a very pleasant and enjoyable experience, and the staff was very accommodating and helpful. Five stars for sure, and I know I'll be going back because there are so many things that I can eat, with a very clean menu in a clean restaurant. 😊🙏🏼 Edit: Going back to this lovely establishment is always a treat. I recently discovered this cafe. Went twice in 1 week for breakfast with my brother and solo brunch. They're Lavendar lattes 10/10 The atmosphere is great. Loved the music. The waitress both times were super friendly and attentive. Glad I found this cute cafe right down the street from me. I'll definitely will go back to try new plates.

We came for dinner on a Saturday night. First timers. Been wanting to check it out for a while. We regret not coming here sooner. Spinach Artichoke Dip, was obviously homemade, to die for. Best I’ve ever had and I’ve tried lots of spinach dips all over the country and in Southern California. Served with a topping of crispy parmesan cheese and under that was the perfectly blended creamy dip. Also a pretty display. Our server Bella was awesome and was so knowledgeable with the menu and pairing of foods, she suggested Tomato Basil Soup with my Chicken Panini Sandwich and she was so right!! The combo was a perfect match. I’ve never had such fresh homemade tomato soup. Also the Chicken Panini had a nice little crunch in the middle. This sandwich was superb. Pastrami Sandwich- pastrami was tender and flavorful, fresh bread. Sweet potato fries also good. Chia Latte - so smooth and tasty. The presentation was so pretty. Lavender Lemonade- so good, perfect blending. Music was upbeat and fun- modern disco , loved the vibes. Mark this place on your list, just try and go when it’s not so busy as I heard this place is pretty popular for breakfast and lunch.

This place is a gem in LA . I saw it on instagram and let me tell you the best matcha pancakes . The food came out so quickly with heaters were perfect for this weather . I loved it perfect brunch date with my husband the waiter was sweet and attentive as well

We love this place! We have eaten here on many occasions, food and service is always top notch. We used to live in the area and now live further away but we still drive here to have breakfast. Today we have salmon benedict, fritatta, kids junior breakfast and belgian waffles. Everything tasted fresh and delicious! Our server Nina was very attentive. Also, 5 stars for great music! Live sax player and whenever he is not here, there is classic Bossa Nova and Dianna Krall playing, super relaxing atmosphere! We will be coming back of course!

Love this place! If you wanna come here with a few people or family it will be great. NO wait time to be seated. Was seated right away. Food didn’t come early or late. Grand Opening weekend. Food was very good, and presented well. Chai latte was very good. Pancakes were very good. They seated the 2 of us right away. Other people had to wait up to 45 minutes. Overall food is good but expect to wait to eat at least as they get dialed in.

The food is pretty decent. My wife and I frequent this spot fairly, often just due to its proximity to our home. I've tried maybe a half dozen of their selections, usually breakfast or lunch, but the one dinner item that I've also had was cooked to satisfaction and did not leave me wanting. I would say the ribeye sandwich is probably the tastiest thing I've tried, but there are definitely a variety of options that would surely please most palettes. I wish I could say that the food is amazing and that I would recommend it to everyone, but in truth, it's fairly middle of the road, but we quite enjoy the staff and the fact that the faces are friendly and familiar goes a long way for me.

First time here and ordered a lavender latte with oat milk and eggs benedict. The food was flavorful and prepared timely. The outdoor patio has heaters so it was nice and cozy.

First time visiting this place, and I will be back! I came here on a Wednesday night with my girlfriend for dinner. The restaurant wasn't very busy, which is a shame since it deserves more people. But it was sprinkled with some patrons throughout. I ordered the calamari, steak, and then had a lavender latte and cheese croissant for dessert. The calamari was delicious! We thought their house made sauce paired really well with it. The steak was cooked to perfection. Was so juicy, tender. This steak was worth it, especially not something I was expecting from this unassuming restaurant. For dessert I got a cheese danish which wasn't bad, but I've had better. The lavender latte was recommended by our server, They were amazing! Attentive, offer recommendations. Great experience overall. My girlfriend had lox eggs benedict and a regular latte. She said they were delicious and I believe her because she devoured those bad boys. Overall, would recommend this place to anyone. I want to come back for breakfast 👀

Have heard good things, and then the reviews made us try it. It's an odd spot, to say the least. 6 large tv's with 4 playing nature shows, one stuck on a station asking it it was still being watched, and one playing Two and a Half Men. Huh? They had a live accordian player who had recorded music playing under his live playing. It was extremely loud. He was good, but it was so odd and out of place. We got a philly cheese steak and a Waygu Burger with sides of clam chowder. Soup was decent, and sandwiches were nothing special. Bright spot was server, Audrey, who was awesome. So nice, and handling the entire floor herself. Two 4 tops, three 2 tops, and one 10 top. She had to do mixed cocktails and coffee drinks, had to bus tables, and serve all. She was awesome. Honestly, we won't go back and I can't recommend it.

Came here for my birthday brunch. I was not really impressed. Their Instagram account makes their food look pretty and looks delicious. However, after trying the food it is just your basic breakfast brunch

I’ve been here a couple times never had an issue unfortunately this time around I order delivery…… I ordered a banana shake a dessert and Salmon Tartine. The restaurant immediately sent me a refund for the shaken dessert since they were out. When the order was delivered, I was a little unhappy with the way it looked since it had no cream cheese The bread was soggy, but that happens in deliveries at times. I decided To toast the bread myself, and when I was trying to build the sandwich back up, I noticed the salmon was turning brown The restaurant intentionally folded the salmon to hide the brown pieces I had already ate Some pieces of the salmon by the time I noticed, 20 minutes later and my stomach‘s already feeling upset. I did get my order completely refunded by the delivering service. However, receiving a refund for eating food that probably is spoiled (or at least not a good testing food ) is not a win in my eyes. I’ll give it three stars Just because I’ve ate here a couple other times and I’ve never had a bad experience but this makes me not want to ever go back ever

Mid Breakfast Experience I had breakfast here with my girlfriend, and overall, it was underwhelming. The service was decent—our waitress was timely and checked in on us regularly—but nothing stood out as memorable. We sat outside, which was nice in theory, but the space was incredibly tight. I had to constantly shift my seat to let people and waitstaff get by, which made it hard to relax and enjoy the meal. The food was the biggest letdown. We ordered a protein omelet, a two-stack of pancakes, and eggs Benedict. The omelet was bland, oily, and completely lacked seasoning. The eggs Benedict were average at best—nothing special. The pancakes were the worst part: they were stale, hard to cut, and had a decent flavor at best, but the texture made them nearly inedible. We paid about $60, including the tip, for these three items, which felt like way too much for such mediocre food. While the presentation was nice, the taste and quality just didn’t match up. Honestly, breakfast at a local diner would have been a better choice. If you decide to visit, I’d recommend avoiding what we ordered and trying something else on the menu.

We came for breakfast. But I was surprised when I saw the menu. A simple omelet shouldn't be $20. I'm not even mentioning the other prices. We won't try it again.

My friends and I came to have a brunch on Sunday for a little girls day and waited 30min to be seated. While we were sitting here to be waited on it took another 30minutes for someone to even ask if we wanted anything to drink. No apology was given and we ordered our drinks and food while we were at it. We all wanted to order the Margarita flights, the girl was surprised because apparently nobody in a party of 4 has ever ordered that at one time. She has to check if they were able to make them. She came back and said they could only make 3/4. We agreed and she left to put in our order. Even for our water it took 20minutes. Food came and it looked appetizing , hence the looked. Shortly after came the flights. They were presented nicely but the taste was not there, they were warm, and well the alcohol also. We returned 2 of our flights after a sip and the waitress was shocked. The owner was upset with the waitress which was uncomfortable and especially because he kept staring at us and pointing at our table. The food was mediocre and tasteless. Oily. Burnt. Not worth the $21 each. Then when she came to take our plates she did not ask if everything was okay, if we needed anything, NOTHING. She took the plate from one of the girls who was still eating and again, she did not say a word. My friend was the one who said sorry for her taking the plate. 0 out of 10 would not recommend. Not worth the drive or money. Horrible service, not a smiling face in sight in the whole restaurant. Not even the owner who again, kept looking at us and our table. We should have read the reviews first because then we would have chosen somewhere else to go.
