First time at a Shakey's in a while and it was just as good as I remember

The pizza was really good and they had a lot of different options, small arcade for the kids is also great. Plenty of parking in the parking lot.

Staff is friendly, place is clean, the turn over is pretty fast so its easy for large groups be find seating together.

I was there with my brother on a Monday they close at 9:30pm We arrive at 9:07pm they took our order the place was empty but our food was delicious. Usually we go to the one in Sylmar, but we were in the area and the food tasted better here. Staff was friendly too.

This Shakey’s in Burbank is my favorite one so far. Customer service is amazing, & even though it got really busy, the food and the employees delivered everything to our tables fairly on time and as fresh as we expected. The cashiers did an amazing job pointing out what items we were looking to order for our decently sized family & the manager/manager’s are welcoming

First time trying the bunch of lunch. We were happy about it. Although most pizza choices has pork in them. We were able to request a special pizza with beef and pineapple, and mushrooms. Nothing special with the spaghetti. Salad bar is fine too. We loved the chicken and of course the mojos.👌👌👌will probably come back again when we are craving for the famous chicken n mojos.

The best food and employees ever!!! The "Bunch of Lunch"/Buffet between 11AM to 2PM is to die for! If you haven't been to Shakeys in a long time, you should really go. The food has the same amazing taste, flavor, and seasoning when I was seven years old. Never change Shakeys, because you will always be a great place to eat and make memories with loved ones.

My family and I had an amazing experience at Shakey’s! Right from the start, Jazz, one of the employees, made our visit extra special. She was so friendly, constantly smiling, and went out of her way to make sure we were taken care of. She cleared our table multiple times and was especially sweet to our two kids, even bringing a couple of small toys for our two-year-old son, which made his day! On top of that, the food was fantastic—the pizza tasted phenomenal, the Mojo’s were perfectly crispy and fluffy, and the fried chicken was delicious. To top it all off, my wife accidentally left her phone on the table, and Jazz came all the way out to the parking lot to reunite it with us. Thanks to Jazz’s outstanding service and the great food, we’ll definitely be coming back with the family. Highly recommend this Shakey’s location!

I went there right after 11, when they opened they were slow. Then they quickly got busy. There's a little salad bar, a pizza bar and then there's another bar with food that's not pizza: rice pilaf, mashed potatoes, gravy, chicken, potatoes, corn and mixed vegetables. Manager was nice and accommodating.

Hard to go wrong with this place! This location had great service. Wanted to have a couple of pizzas, chicken and Mojo's. The person taking my order helped me know the specials on hand and even sold me on the upgrade as it would be more food for same price. Thank you for sharing that! Easy to park and pick up. Registers have plastic dividers for social distance betweens orders. Will use this location again.

I had an amazing experience here. The staff members are great and attentive, they greeted me when I first walked in. I asked for suggestion on what food items to try , the ultimate meat and garlic bread did not miss. It was delicious I’m glad I took the suggestion. I also tried the fried chicken, and it was juicy and tender my family loved it. I truly recommend coming to here with the family, the kids will love it.

Best Shakey’s the LA area. Staff and Management are very nice. Place is clean and well taken care of. Pizza, sides and salads are all delicious. Pizza still has the original Shakey’s taste from when I was a little kid. Love this Location.

Loved Shakey’s as a kid and this one by far is my favorite. Everytime i come in for a buffet they ask if I have any special requests, very accommodating and the food is always fresh and deliciously made ! I frequent here often enough to give a decent review. This is 100% one of the better Shakey's in the LA area! All the employees I've encountered are incredibly kind and courteous. Management comes out to help the employees and customers also, rather than watch from the sidelines, which is super awesome! Food is always good and still a decent price despite inflation. Restaurant is always clean and the arcade area is well maintained.

I like to go here right when it opens,every Sunday after church! You can tell that this shakey's is super popular because there are often people waiting outside 30 minutes before they open. Within an hour of opening the place is usually packed, and the staff seem to manage it pretty well. The food is always fresh and staff are great at making rounds at the tables, ensuring everything is clean and tidy!! Clean/fun atmosphere and good food every time we visit!

This is the most friendliest Shakes I’ve been to! Not only do they make sure the food is great but the center is clean for my kids! I’ll find myself playing video games more than them lol. But the staff and location is great! All our special events has been here and we love it!!!

Came here for the bunch a lunch, pizza was better than other shakers locations. Food was constantly fresh. Worker were friendly and helpful, especially Elvis. He was constantly going around and getting used plates and wiping counters. I will choose this location over others

This shakeys pizza parlor has been here in Burbank for a long time now, if you sign up with your birthday and email, they will email you a coupon for their bunch a lunch coupon where they will give you a free lunch buffet with the purchase of a sida.. the dining area has a homely feel to it and a lot of Family come here on weekends for lunch and it has a fun center for kids to play in and win prizes.

The staff was Awesome. Great team work from management to staff. Especially the staff that was cleaning the tables and the young lady serving the beer (knows how to pour the beer). We went to the All You Can Eat today and it was delicious. There were 2 young ladies cleaning the tables and this job is not easy carrying the heavy box with dirty dishes and they were polite and friendly. We had a great experience. Love this Shakey's

The staff is always responsive, accurate, helpful, professional and friendly. The food is as expected. The atmosphere is well lit but cozy/warm, with appropriate seating options for families. There's an arcade with plenty game options that are fun for just about all ages and fun prizes per accumulated points. I first heard of and started coming here through my child's school, since they award coupons to "star readers" and "classroom/school leaders". Also the service is pretty fast and I've never had to wait for seating when dining in.

Clarence is THE BEST! He’s very accommodating and welcoming. He always makes sure that customers get the best out of their experience. Right from welcoming us, he’s been very kind, helpful, and outgoing. He sets the positive atmosphere. At the end of the buffet time, he reminded everyone about the last call for food. When we went up to get more smores pizza, we saw that it’s quickly gone when we just saw it (apparently the next table stacked it up last minute!). He saw us, and he said, “Don’t worry.” A few minutes later, he went to our table and gave us a tiny box of smores pizza! He said he understood us as customers and wanted to give us the best experience. This location has really nice people all around as well, even the cleaning ladies! This location has the kindest employees. Will definitely recommend to others and come back! Thank you 😊

Went here for the all you can eat. Came in a bit late and the all you can eat was about to be done, so there was no more smores pizza. One of the employees, Clarence, went to our table and offered to make us a smores pizza. We were just expecting one or two slices, but he gave us a whole small box of smores pizza. A friend had brought me for the lunch buffet and I enjoyed my experience eating here. The cashier welcomed us and was friendly, the other staff were just as patient and ready to help customers when asked. All of the hot foods and salad bar were replenished regularly and kept nice and tidy. The dining area itself had plenty of seating, tvs for the sports fans, and was well maintained, floor and tables were clean. I had a good time first experience here, I look forward to coming back.

Not only did they go above and beyond with their great service but the manager Angel made sure my event was as accommodating for my special needs child on the spectrum. He was able to help me figure out the best seating area, time, and keep everyone happy without it being an overwhelming event for us. I was even able to have his favorite character come out to enjoy a slice of pizza with us! I can’t express how hard is to find a place for us to relax and have fun but has become our new go to location even if it’s not the closest. All the staff here is always so sweet and helpful. Old school pizza place. Taste is cravable and set it apart from other pizza places. It also has a fun little arcade that the kids enjoy and tons of sports on the TV. As always you have to get some chicken and the Mojo potatoes. A good selection of pizza with that amazing thin crust that we always enjoy. Lunch buffet and a good beer selection is also available.

Mojo' and crispy chicken really hit the spot!! My husband had the all you can eat and enjoyed the 🍕 Pizza and 🍝 spaghetti. It was busy but I got served (pizza & mojo special), in a decent amount of time. Can't beat the prices!! Unless you have children and they want to play the games, then your in trouble... 😵‍💫🤑

You can never go wrong with Shakey's! Consistency here was good. The thin crust pepperoni pizza and 1/2 order of mojo's is the best deal for 2 people.

Haven't been to one in over 20 years, and when I was there I wasn't really impressed. I don't know but it seemed to have improved over the years? The pizzas were very good although the sausage was really salty but the chicken was delicious. The potatoes were okay So I guess my complaint is really about those stupid tickets and how many you need to get a measly toy.. ridiculous. So food it was pretty good

The service was great at this Shakey's. The employees here were friendly and my pizza came out in a timely manner. The one downside was my pizza. I ordered a pepperoni pizza and it was good except for the sauce in the pizza, which is a real deal breaker for me. The pizza sauce tasted a little too sweet for my tastes. Other than that everything else was fine.

The non diary options were nice. The breaded chicken was good and the mashed potato was great.

Good food. Main room was cool. Side room was very hot with a lot of people packed into small space. The toppings are sparse but nostalgia keeps aus coming back.

We came here for my niece's bday party. Pizza was good, salad bar was ok (caeser dressing was all the way in the back with the sneeze guard, it was a stretch). Not too loud. Games were meh. 3 of the games were to spin for more tickets to trade in for their trinkets. Games were just not good.

Food was good but didn’t get plates on time, had to ask for them. Price is ok.

Reminiscent of olden days at this pizza parlor from my childhood. The manager was very friendly and even added a side of mojo potatoes when he heard we were a long way from home and visiting here. Very clean location, friendly staff, and decent pizza for a fair price.

Unfortunately, came on a busy night but also saw a lot of "reserved" tables and only the other side of the restaurant was really reserved but waited almost 40 mins for a table nonetheless. We ordered the medium PCM and it took almost an hour to get our food. We had to asked for it too before we even got it. They said they had "uncooked" our pizza and that they would serve our chicken first and when our server came, he said "sorry for the wait, they burned your pizza by accident." And we were confused but oh well. When the chicken came, it was luke warm but still good but you can tell its been sitting under the heat lamp but the mojos were so disappointing. They were hard like the batter on the mojos actually hurt your teeth when you chewed on it. When the server finally came back with our pizza, I ask if he could get me new ones and he rudely said "They're cold! You want to change it out?" And went to change it out and came back with new ones and asked if it was okay and I said yes. The pizza was amazing which is why it was worth the wait. The food was good but service definitely lacked a bit. I guess what happens when you go on a busy night and they are understaffed.

Have always held Shakey's pizza in high regard from our memories of years past. After a fun filled day at Universal Studios, we were looking forward to a yummy dinner here! Plus, we were starving, so we ordered a large pepperoni pizza and 8 pieces of fried chicken!! The chicken was totally awesome, and I enjoyed it thoroughly. The pizza was eh. Of course, we ate it, but we got half white sauce, and you couldn't even tell any difference between the two. The chicken is the highlight! The MOJO potatoes were awesome, too!!! I wish I could eat more but I was so full!!!

Holy moly! The Mojos never disappoint. Time after time, Shakey's delivers on their signature Mojos. These crispy, seasoned potato slices are an absolute delight and consistently hit the mark. Shakey's fried chicken is another solid offering. It's juicy, well-seasoned, and has a nice crunch. While it might not be the best fried chicken out there, it's definitely satisfying and complements the Mojos perfectly. To be honest, the pizza at Shakey's is just a notch above school pizza. It's not terrible, but it's certainly not great. The crust tends to be a bit bland, and the toppings, while decent, don't elevate the pizza to anything special. The salad bar left much to be desired. The ingredients were fresh, but the selection was quite basic and uninspired. If you're looking for a standout salad experience, Shakey's probably won't be your go-to spot. Despite some shortcomings, the value of Shakey's lunch buffet is undeniable. For the price, you get a variety of options, and it's hard to beat the satisfaction of all-you-can-eat Mojos and fried chicken.

I enjoyed the pizza but the veggies weren't cooked, it was like they forgot them initially and threw them on at the last minute.

Went there for a birthday party.. food was ok. But i wouldnt come here again simply because main reason i would go is for my children to have fun in the arcade... I had a birthday dinner last week. The food is not the same as before. The pizza was not cooked right. The all you can eat salad bar didn't have any extras like before. All bad.

I have been patronizing Shakey's for over 40 years and I've never had such an awful experience like I did today. They gave me TWO tiny pieces of chicken. One without the skin! That's NO SKIN on fried chicken! Pizza was made in a very sloppy manner and mojo's were subpar at best. Needless to say, this was my first & LAST time at the Burbank location. Never again!!! 🤢

Ordered 2 large pizzas and a mojos for take out - Came out to just over $65.00. This must be the reason why this restaurant has been going downhill unfortunately. The pizza was ok (nothing like it used to be) but the mojos were subpar. This used to be a place you could take your family for a decent meal, and the prices were not out of control. This has nothing to do with inflation.. this is BEYOND inflation, and its an absolute rip-off and the ovens looks like they were in terrible shape in the kitchen as well. It was nostalgic at best, but the last time I will patronize this franchise. They are out of their minds charging $32.50 for a large 15" pizza and mojos, and another 27.00 for a large meat lovers pizza. You can get much better elsewhere, and easily at half the cost. It's another childhood favorite that went downhill and its sad. Come back to planet earth and bring the reasonable prices back even with inflation taken into account, and people WILL come back. There is NO reason a meal for 3 people should have cost this much.. PERIOD!!! I am able to go out for sushi in a high-end place and spend less than this, and the ingredients to make pizza are CHEAP!!! Ingredients for sushi are not cheap.. I know its apples to oranges, but my example still stands!

Worst experience ever! First, I felt very discriminated against. All other customers in the restaurant were given regular cups, yet we were the only ones given disposable cups. The food was awful. The mojos were over cooked as well as the chicken. We wanted our children to play in the arcade area, but when we asked for changed, we were rudely told no by the manager himself. Awful service from the staff. We will never go back.

I remember the pizzas, the mojos being delicious, a little pricey but worth it so when my son asked me about buying some of those to take home I agreed. We ordered on the phone and after 20 minutes it was time to pick it up. We ordered pizza, mojos and boneless chicken last Saturday, the 29th of August, it was over cooked, chicken was so crunchy and hard to chew that I couldn't stop my self writing this review. Never again, I will go back when everything goes back to normal, when I can sit down and enjoy the environment but also when I can see what they bring to me.😉

Probably the most mid pizza we’ve had. The salad bar was depressing. Also, it’s called shakeys, but there’s no shakes? I’m genuinely confused.

First time at this location and had a terrible experience the staff wasn’t friendly especially the guy taking our order named Angel. They threw our food out while we played games for about 20 min or less most of the games don’t even work only person who was nice was a sweet young lady who seemed to be doing most of the work wouldn’t recommend or come back to this location

After 40 years of ordering pizza from Shakeys Burbank we had the worst pizza ever. Besides the pizza our antipasto salad had wilted lettuce. Definitely not the quality we are used to, along with the fact that NO salad dressing was delivered with our order.
