I only came in for a latte but enjoyed the discovery of this sister owned business. There was live music and a quaint little patio, I tried their sisters latte which was a little too sweet for my taste but enjoyable. They were very friendly and people seemed to be enjoying the space to work.
Nothing to say but just please try their coffee ☕️ I always get my coffee beans from them nowhere else. Always fresh and always tasty… And their service 😀😀😀 very cozy and friendly and you feel like you’re part of their family
Place is great, but I highly recommend to rethink “people with notebooks” policy. We came with kids an old friend to join our drinks and talk, but all tables are reserved by people with notebooks and one drink on tables for 4-6 people. So there is no place to sit. Coffee is good, staff is friendly. Just make one place for notebooks people on the coach and leave a place for people to actually join a place.
I really enjoyed 3 sisters. I'm still obsessed with their strawberry mocha from the valentine menu! Haha. Love that they host art workshops and support local artisans.
Easily the best coffee shop in Burbank and surrounding areas. For years I was looking for a good place to hang out and have great coffee. The owner and staff are VERY nice and friendly. They support local artists and women-owned business by featuring the art and product in the cafe. Try the vanilla bean latte and Three Sisters latte. Delicious.
I LOVE supporting local! Kristen and her beautiful family take such pride in serving their community and make DELICIOUS drinks at the same time! Thank you for such quality inside and out!
This coffee shop is a true gem! The vibe is warm and welcoming—great for relaxing, working, or meeting up with friends. The coffee is consistently excellent, and the staff is always kind and helpful. You can tell they put a lot of care into both the drinks and the service. One of my favorite spots in town!
Okay, I have visited three sisters several times. I normally get drip coffee, I know boring, but the last couple of times I tried a signature three sisters latte half sweet with whole milk, and a strawberry matcha iced large and both are amazing. The atmosphere is so warm and friendly. Enjoyed the ambiance. I believe you get what you pay for. The service is also quick and with ingredients that are custom-made and with TLC, where can you find a place like this? So whether you live, play or work in Burbank please stop in and say YO to three sisters team. Enjoy your hot or cold drink here. 💙
I went into Three Sisters Coffee today for the first time and I will definitely be going back! The atmosphere is absolutely beautiful and with the logo, name and aesthetic, it gives me Hocus Pocus vibes!! I got a pumpkin spice latte and I think it was gone before I got back to my vehicle. The customer service was fast and with generous kindness. My daughter asked what kind of 'non coffee' drink she could have and they made her a very special Raspberry and Matcha lemonade. Yum!! This place has only recently opened and I'm adding it to my list of coffee stops in Burbank.
Came to get the mango sticky rice matcha from seeing it on social media and it was delicious! I wish I would have gotten a large. Service was relatively fast, pleasant, and friendly. Nothing to complain about. The ambiance was nice and relaxing with seating available. Free street parking as well. Will return if in the area.
This place is adorable and the drinks are top notch. My husband loves the vegan cinnamon roll (he’s not even vegan 😂)
We at Advance Investments Property Management are pleased to share our positive experience with 3 Sisters Coffee. Kristen and her three daughters run a warm and welcoming community-focused spot, consistently serving high-quality coffee and providing excellent customer service. Their dedication, kindness, and hospitality truly stand out, making every visit a pleasant experience. We highly recommend 3 Sisters Coffee to anyone seeking a cozy, family-owned coffee shop with friendly staff and great drinks. Thank you, Kristen and your daughters, for your commitment to making customers enjoy your spot.
This is my second time getting matcha from here! First time was a mango sticky rice matcha (so good), and today I tried the strawberry matcha (again so good). I accidentally spilled my drink like a minute after getting it once I sat down, and the staff was so nice and even got me a replacement for no extra charge despite me trying to pay. I’m so sorry again for the inconvenience. Everyone here is the sweetest. Thank you again! Will definitely be back for my post-pilates matchas!
This place is the absolute best in Burbank! Great for a coffee to go or to sit with a pastry and work. Friendly and wonderful staff and a cozy atmosphere. Plus, they're always hosting fun events and pop-ups, they've truly become a meaningful hub of the neighborhood. Highly recommend!

I don't usually leave reviews, but I had to take a moment and leave one for Three Sisters. I absolutely love it. It's truly my favorite cafe. The coffee is great and the bakery treats are amazing as well. Kristen and all the baristas are extremely kind and friendly. It's a great place to come have coffee get some work done, catch up with friends or come solo enjoy the coffee and atmosphere.
Absolutely the best coffee shop in Burbank. I absolutely love the drinks here. I get an Early Gray latte and it is my favorite drink. They have so many unique and original drinks. You need to go on a see what they have. The staff is super friendly. The owner Kristen is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. She ameks you feel welcome the minute you walk in the door. Doesn't matter who is behind the register you always feel welcome and they are so friendly. It normally doesn't take long for them to make your drink even in the middle of a rush. The quality is top notch. The atmosphere is so welcoming and you feel like you stepped into a living room more than a coffee shop.
This is a cosy coffee shop! Everyone was so pleasant. There are tables to hang out as well as to-go options. I love their vanilla bean flavoring in the London Fog, and the cinnamon rolls are amazing!
I visit here often. Kristen is a wonderful human and her staff is exceptionally friendly and the baked goods are top tier. As you can see from my photos im here a lot. I've never had the staff fail to greet me and be genuinely friendly. I was able to bring my mother here in December and she absolutely loved their seasonal drinks and how pretty the shop is but also most importantly how kind the girls are there. I just lost my mom 3 wks ago and she talked about her experience here often. They support locals, with a book vending machine added in the fall by Bespelled Books, hosting the lovely Orphan mobile book shop, local bakers and art nights, as well as pop up craft markets. They always have delicious seasonal special drinks and a cozy shop to hang out in. They are dog friendly and have a few tables out back to sit at. There are always events here so it's worth checking in often to see what's going on. You can't beat books, coffee and a genuinely supportive community.
i've gone here 2 years now! As a data person, i take reviews seriously and barely review but the owner and team at Three Sisters have that vibe of a small town Hallmark movie where neighbors greet and chat. On the goods... - I gravitate to their seasonal lattés, maybe lavender based, blueberry based, off-menu green praline or a cafe de olla inspired bev in the pic, wuuut!!! - And for a treat, this sweet corn w apricot jam, ohh muhh gahhh, supplied by their own magical baker person, get it while available. They are woven into the community, i've seen that consistently in 2 years, love it. The people are real. The coffee real good. They continue being creative. Oh if it gets busy, be kind mm kay!
I had a doctor appt in the area and I looked up coffee shops nearby and found Three Sisters. Upon walking in, I immediately felt the cozy ambiance of the shop filled with the smell of delicious coffee. It's a great place to work on your laptop as so many were doing so. They have WI-FI. The only thing I noticed is that I don't think they have outlets. I ordered a vanilla bean latte and man oh man was it so good. I usually have to ask for modifications when I order a drink because lattes and crafted coffee drinks are usually sweet and am not a fan of sweet coffee but I ordered it as is so I can see if I like it the way it's supposed to be made. The vanilla bean was noticeable and the drink had just the right amount of sweet with the moderate strength of espresso. The espresso wasn't overpowering or super bitter. This drink was absolutely delicious. I also ordered a chocolate croissant warmed and it was good as well. I would definitely like to come back and sit down and enjoy the vibe. I also did happen to see a personal photo of the sisters and thought that was such a beautiful personal touch.
Cute little place. Think it’s owned by three sisters? Lots of books and amazing coffee.
Hello Burbank, Banana pudding Matcha a must, Three sisters you are amazing. Service with a smile, no waiting, please visit and support this local business.
This is THE neighborhood cafe! I come every week because the coffee is smooth, the seasonal drinks menu never disappoints and the staff are fantastic! I got the absolutely phenomenal seasonal drink, the Bee Keeper latte, which is made with honey from a local beekeeper. This space also has a free library, community events and visiting vendors. 3 Sisters is a breath of fresh air in a world of corporate cafes.
5-15-24. I added a couple of new photos since my last review since they were voted the "Best of Burbank" coffee shop. It's been almost a year and it's still one of my favorite spots in Burbank. It's warm and inviting and has a community feel to it. My wife and I moved to Burbank a few months ago and love how walkable the area is. There are coffee shops up and down Magnolia but now there’s one at the end of our street and it’s awesome! Kristen, her daughters and staff are so welcoming and the atmosphere is so chill. I usually get “the irishman” and a chocolate chip scone. So happy to have 3 Sisters in the neighborhood!

I went to visit a family member in Los Angeles and we decided to stop in here. Coming from NYC I didn't think I could find a place that could top the local coffee shops across the city and Long Island. Well I was SO very wrong. The banana nut latte with banana pudding was to DIE for(it's only a seasonal offering which makes it even more special). Since I was only staying for 9 days I demanded to come in every day I was there and often I would get two drinks...one to drink at the time and one to take back and drink later. The white chocolate mocha and Vanilla bean latte were definitely top contenders as well. The staff is SO friendly and accommodating. Don't listen to the reviews saying the staff provides subpar customer service..it sounds like it's a them problem not a staff problem. It can get busy but even still the drinks come out pretty fast. In a city littered with Starbucks this place is a stand out, it's also locally owned and for those with dietary restrictions they have A LOT of options to choose from. I can't wait to visit family again so I can come back!!!
Three Sisters Coffee & Tea is the kind of place that already feels welcoming just from the way it shows up in the community. Everything about this business feels thoughtful and intentional, from the menu to the overall vibe they’ve created. You can tell the owners truly care about what they’re building and about the people they serve. It’s refreshing to see a small business run with so much heart and integrity. Burbank is lucky to have a place like this, and it’s absolutely one worth supporting.
As someone who didn't drink coffee their entire life, I had no idea what to expect when trying this place out but I was pleasantly surprised after having my first iced latte from Three Sisters. I've been going back for the last couple of years now and the drinks are always consistent, the staff is great and the place is always very clean. Now that I've started drinking coffee, I've had drinks from other coffee shops in Burbank and other parts of LA but I always find myself going back to Three Sisters. I would highly recommend checking them out if you haven't already!
I had a great experience here! The team was so sweet and kind, and the drinks were delicious. I got the iced matcha latte and will definitely be back for it again. It’s also the perfect spot to get work done, the vibe is great! If you haven’t been here yet, I definitely recommend stopping by.
Im loving it ya’ll. They’ve got a craft fair going on today. Very creative drinks on the menu. Cozy ambiance with comfy chairs and both indoor and outdoor seating options. Outdoors, there’s a trickling fountain which is very relaxing. Indoors, it’s poppin! They’ve even got fun random stuff like a book vending machine with a spooky selection for Halloween. They’ve also decorated for fall. The clientele here are overwhelmingly women. There’s so much life and culture here, like a coffee shop should be. I got the Midnight Bloom off the seasonal menu which is delish with pumpkin cold foam in case anyone is wondering. Also the pumpkin cold foam gives vibes of being made with actual pumpkin — not food coloring and flavors. I’ll be back! Ooh only feedback would be that a speaker outside would be a nice touch. But the patio is still magical either way ✨
This place is always spot on with their matcha and coffee! I personally come here for the matcha, and it never disappoints. The staff is super friendly and welcoming—they already know me when I walk in, which makes it feel like home. Yes, the shop is on the smaller side, but that’s the price you pay for authentic, high-quality matcha and coffee. They really care about their customers and it shows in both the service and the drinks. I would highly recommend Three Sisters Coffee and Tea to anyone looking for a great drink and a warm, genuine experience.
Love the matcha and coffee here! It’s always been busy when I come here, which is a kudos to the cafe. The baristas are polite and fast. Would definitely return!

Got a cold brew with pistachio cold foam as suggested by the barista and I was not disappointed. I was less than thrilled about my blueberry muffin though. It had large overbaked hard pieces all around the edge. It was bitter, near burnt, and it really took away the soft and sweet flavor of the center of the muffin
Three Sisters Coffee and Tea in Burbank is a charming café with a cozy, welcoming vibe. It’s a great spot to unwind, catch up with a friend, or get some light work done. The matcha was good, smooth and not too sweet but not the best I’ve had. Prices are definitely on the higher side but the quality of ingredients and friendly service helps justify it. The overall experience is relaxing and enjoyable.
I ordered the beekeepers latte which is a latte w honey farmed by a local beekeeper. It tasted nice but it was too sweet for my liking. Regardless, I liked the atmosphere and the worker was very nice!

Cute vibe in this place, street parking (which can be tricky sometimes, but not all the time!) The drinks are good, they have yummy snacks and everyone that works there is SO friendly. The seating is kind of limited, which is not their fault, since it's just a small space. But I've never been able to find a seat inside, always had to go to the back patio and those chairs aren't the most comfy. Probably better at not-peak times but I do love it here so I'm pleased that they are so busy!

If you order online, they charge you a full $1.00 fee. It doesn’t speed up your order either, it’s still 20 minutes for one drink. The coffee taste is so-so.
Only tried their coffee and it was so so. Often very busy so they must have good stuff, but I always judge places by whether they can make a good drip coffee and this place doesn’t cut it.
The coffee and vibe of the place is really cute however the owner is rude. The first time it happened I thought it was one off interaction however, the last time I was there it was SO awkward. My partner and I are never coming back because of how bad the interaction was. I've met people who 'direct' but she was just flat out rude. I hate leaving bad reviews but it looks like I'm not the only one who has felt the weirdness from the owner based on other reviews. It's such a shame because I loved this place.
Came in a little after 11am, was greeted only with a simple “hi.” I sat down to wait for my drink, and before I even got it a staff member (wearing sportswear??) asked how long I planned to stay because they had a reservation in two hours. I found this surprising and honestly quite rude. Two hours is more than enough time for one person to enjoy a drink, and it felt unnecessary to approach me this way, especially before I even got my order. It created an uncomfortable atmosphere, as a guest I didn’t feel welcome.
"Welcoming atmosphere." Yeah, right. I've been to the coffeeshop a few times and my experience has been lackluster, to say the least. The matcha is decent but extremely inconsistent. I know I am in a cafe located in the heart of Burbank, so my expectations for good matcha are low. At times, I have been pleasantly surprised, but recently, I have not enjoyed my time there. My biggest issue is the customer service—or lack thereof. I try not to complain or demand as I don't want to come across as a "Karen". However, my recent encounter left a bad taste in my mouth. I came by today approximately 30 mins to closing time, the place was thinning out, and lots of tables were available. The cashier acted rudely, to say the least. It's not a personal attack but just an observation. She was unfriendly and barely looked up at me. The only time she did look up was when I answered her in the same off-putting tone, essentially matching hers. I don't believe "the customer is always right," as it's untrue and often is used to coddle demanding and rude customers at the expense of the employees. However, I did not act rudely towards her; therefore, it did not warrant a rude interaction. The drink was also unpleasant. I ordered matcha with cold foam, and there was BARELY any foam + it was an extremely diluted and sweet matcha. I point it out because I've ordered this drink before, and it was quite good. Maybe it was because I came less than an hour before closing time, which I try not to do at any businesses. However, this was not an isolated incident. There was another time when the person taking my order acted unnecessarily rude as well. While I am not the most chit-chatty person, I always greet and make small talk. The times I've gone and the owners were working have been pleasant; the other times, they have not. I recommend coming for the coffee IF you're in the area and have nowhere else to go. This is NOT a going-out-of-your-way spot. Skip this place if you want to study, as there's minimal space with outlets and it's cramped. It's a charming place, I suppose, but not worth the $9 dollar matcha, limited parking, and incredibly rude staff. Ridiculous. There are better places in the valley with quality matcha at a reasonable price. This place is mediocre at BEST. I definitely won't be returning! EDIT: Your staff has multiple complaints regarding poor customer service. I can see you make no effort to change it. I never once stated it was a bad place and should not be visited. As I did state, I have gone MULTIPLE times because it's a charming place nearby with occasionally good matcha/coffee. However, the inconsistency is my biggest issue alongside the unpleasant staff. For two drinks, I spent $20. I think people who consider coming by have a right to know. I did not intend to "publicly tear down" a small business, however if that is how you received my honest review--that is not my problem. I greeted your staff with a friendly tone in the beginning, but their lack of acknowledgement was uncalled for so I responded with the same tone. I don't expect pleasantries 30 mins before closing time but that DOES NOT warrant a rude reception. Other customers came after me closer to closing time and were received better. I do agree, I should have voiced any concerns about my drink but I was made to feel uncomfortable and unwelcome--why would I return? I don't want a free drink, I want to be treated fairly. Again, this interaction was not an isolated incident, it has occurred multiple times. For that reason, I felt compelled to leave a review because I've given this place the benefit of the doubt. I enjoy supporting family run small businesses but that does not exempt you from criticism. It also does not mean I can't share MY personal experience. Your response is disappointing and telling on how you poorly run this business!
Just like several other reviews I read here, I had a similar experience. First time trying this place, decided to give a new coffee spot a try but did not feel welcome at all. The woman who took my order must have not been taught how to give decent customer service. After telling me my total, I tapped my card and typically you’re used to hearing something like “ok you’re all set” or even a “thank you!” but instead she didn’t say a word, didn’t look at me, pulled out her phone and started texting or something. I stood there confused waiting for her to tell me I was all set, as the little machine didn’t ask me if I wanted a receipt or anything, so I wasn’t sure if the payment went through or not. Since she was glued to her phone I had to ask her “did it go through?” Then that’s when she looked up and said oh yes you’re good! Well I’m sorry you didn’t say anything so maybe instead of getting on your phone you can have decent customer service skills and thank the customer and let them know they are all set or even if they want a receipt. The fact that I’ve read through these reviews and have found other people saying they also had similar experiences clarified the type of customer service you can expect here. So I guess they only treat regular customers nicely! Too bad. My latte also sucked, too sweet and just nothing special
Called 3 times around 4pm to check if open. No answer. Took a chance and drove up. Place was open but parking sucks. Walked in, felt like a sauna. No air, no circulation, just heat. Ordered a large grizzly latte and a small three sisters latte to go. Small one came with a crooked lid leaking already. Figured it was fine. Nope. Hit the road, coffee spilling everywhere, ruined my car. Cheap lid, poor quality. Other drink survived but still. Whole vibe off from the start. Big letdown.

Went to this place specifically for specialty coffee. Upon arrival I noticed the employees not greeting me or my friend, but the girl on register was friendly. I could over hear one of the blonde baristas with a septum ring talking shit about someone’s outfit choice out loud and instantly gave me a nasty vibe. I received my drink, which was an Irish cream latte. They did not put the “cream” on the latte, which I’ve ordered before…therefore I know it comes with a cream top. Didn’t make a fuzz because as a company I expect their baristas to make drinks up to standard especially when you’re paying a little more. I say this a barista myself, safe to say I will never be coming back. Maybe if the employees were actually respectful, considerate and actually locked in when making a drink I’d reconsider? It speaks to the level of carelessness when preparing drinks. If you’re in the area there’s plenty of better coffee shops with better overall ambiance.
Such dry customer service. You can tell from the owners face she just wants you to order and get out of her coffee shop. I had ordered ham and cheese croissant and once the little oven was done heating it up it was left in there until someone else ordered a croissant and had to switch them out. My croissant wasn’t even warm and honestly stale. I got it at the same time as my drink order. The coffee and matcha is so unflavorful unless you get heaps of syrup in it. They spend more money on milk than quality ingredients because that’s all they’re putting in their drinks with maybe an ounce of espresso or matcha. I’m never one to say this but I’d rather get Starbucks over Three Sisters. Had to wait like half an hour during a rush. Half an hour for a tiny cup of matcha? You’re kidding right. I get that it was a rush but there is no way that should have taken half an hour. I’ve come here time and time again to give just one more chance but this was my final straw. You’ll have better luck at another one of Burbank’s coffee shops. This place went viral on TikTok but it is absolutely not worth the hype!!!
This coffee shop looks so polished and inviting from the outside, is nicely decorated and looks clean on the inside; very attractive industrial lighting and a vending machine for books! I enjoy the aesthetics so much I ignored their poor customer service the first time I tried them out and decided to come back a second time - but the poor customer service is a consistent factor here it seems. The lady at the register was talking up a police officer and ignored me (3 cars full of police were huddled at the front, drinking coffee - was not an emergency). She didn’t even address me after the police officer left. I looked at her for a while as she was texting on her phone. Then I greeted her, said hello, how are you? She just looked at me blankly like I’m speaking a language she doesn’t comprehend. The message is clear, “just order and go away.” I suddenly remembered why I had a bad first impression of this place. The baristas are stuck up and like talking to one another so much they don’t have time for you. They do have time to talk about you though, asserting about a customer “go to Starbucks then.” These employees are so snooty - it’s gross. No thanks.
