Best place to go and get a tasty bite. So many different options and they all taste so good. My personal favorite is the steak bowl. I would definitely go if you are in the area.

One of our favorite go to spots in Burbank. Their bacon cheeseburgers is what we love most here. I think its because they put a little teriyaki sauce on it and bacon is so crispy.

I don't see why this place has two dollar signs. The food is quite inexpensive. All I've had there are the burgers. They are really good. I recommend the the double cheeseburger. It's like four bucks. Flame grilled. Lots of beefy grill flavor. Haven't had the teriyaki or other items. If you feel like a good burger in burbank skip the habit or in and out. Try yaki,s instead. I've eaten there three consecutive days in the past.

Get a Dog Pound and or the Wontons. You have never had something this unique and delicious. Just had this Yako Burger (with Teriyaki chicken on top of a cheese burger. ) delicious. Weird food, but really good food.

Tasty food! This small corner joint has some amazing double burgers. One beef patty and one chicken parry with bacon. A must have! Especially after a night on the town.

Iconic corner stand that has been in Burbank as long as I have, which is the best endorsement any establishment can boast of. Food is good, outside seating is fun, definitely worth return visits.

This is one of those classic little stands that you drive by and say to yourself I have to try that place sometime. Well that sometime came and I can say I am glad I stopped and I will be stopping again and again. A working man's place down to the picture menu and outdoor seating. There's a variety of sandwiches and rice/meat bowls and they all look good. I had the Aloha sandwich which had lots of meat, lettuce, tomato and a tasty roll. It's not fancy but it's just good food at a great price. They also have a different menu item featured each day of the week to keep you coming back for more. Also like all the bowls are the same size you just get more meat with each size up.

Great options and outstanding flavor. The Xtra-big chicken and steak bowl was the perfect size for lunch. Also got to try the Yaki burger, which, while tasty, was a bit on the thin side. Definitely want to go back and try the plate size combo and maybe a bigger burger.

The gents working at this place are humble, friendly and always remember me no matter how long in between visits! Now, let's about the grub, delicious! I'm pleased that it is consistent and the food is always hot, delicious, and good quality.

Yakis is great. Love the potato salad that goes surprisingly well with teriyaki chicken or steak. I always get the box with all that. There's simple outdoor picnic tables to eat at. Parking is limited but you can park on the street too. The service is pretty quick too. Thanks!

Been eating a lot in Burbank the last few days and this was by far my favorite food all around in town. From what I've been told it's been around for a very long time and has always been a staple of the area. One wouldnt think that a deep fried hot dog with cheese would be so damn good but it is. Oh it is.

Good sized portions, great tasting grilled chicken, and I have the choice of adding pineapple to my chicken bowls. Love that 👌 Really decent pricing for what you get and the main guy taking orders is friendly as hell.

I’ve been going to Yaki’s since it was just the original location on Honolulu in the early 90’s. The family is always pleasant, and serves consistently great food at good prices. I thought the cravings were bad when I moved to South OC, but I might turn into one of the people that buys frozen bulldogs in bulk and brings them to my new home in AZ. Insane burgers (ask for a super tanker if you’re REALLY hungry) and burritos that are virtually impossible to pick up as you get a massive heap of filling with a flour tortilla blanket on top and barely tucked in. I’ve never had a bad selection there!

My favorite place to get a burger and fries. Fries are super hot and not greasy. Get a side of teriyaki and 1000 island for dipping. Don’t know what it’s called but they come both in the same container. Burger has great grill flavor.

This place and employees deserve more than 5 star. I’m not a big fan of fast/street food, but sometimes I stop by to get a bite, just because I want to support them. This place has excellent service. I got exactly what I ordered and it was fresh and delicious. They use good quality meat here, so the steak is never chewy and the chicken is never fatty. I love the potato salad, and my veggies were crisp and perfectly cooked. Great food! Nice guys!

I finally made it to Yaki's I have been driving by for years always saying I want to go. The food is simple and good. I shared a plate with my husband and it was more than enough for both of us. We also had an order of onion rings. We made it spicy and the flavor was wonderful not just hot. We will be going back.

Here is another kiosk-style food joint. This little hut makes all kinds of teriyaki bowls and combos, and they also have specials that change daily, but they stay the same for the following week, so if you miss something you can wait till it cycles back to your favorite. Ironically, we went there to taste the Teriyaki but we got sidetracked when we saw the menu because i saw "Bulldogs", which i had never heard of, and i saw fried zucchini sticks. At that point my plans had changed and I went all fried! I got a burger with zucchini sticks for my wife, and I got onion rings, and 2 bulldogs. The rings were really crispy, yummy! The burger had fresh ingredients and was well made. Maybe the zucchini sticks were a bit moist because they retained a lot of water. Drying them with some salt would go a long way. The bulldogs were a pleasant surprise....they're a hot dog in a spring roll wrap with cheese and mustard tossed in the fryer. Also yummy! And the best part was that my wife and I were pretty full, very full, for only $25. There is also a Game-cafe right behind it for all you D&D or WC players. The menu is pretty extensive, the food is pretty good, and the prices are right! Definitely give it a go!

I’ve only just started coming here but wow what a hidden gem! The food is absolutely fantastic every dish I’ve tried so far has been bursting with flavor and made with real care. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming and everyone I’ve spoken to has been genuinely friendly. A special shoutout to Harry! He goes above and beyond to make sure guests feel at home. His energy, attentiveness, and good vibes really elevate the whole experience. You can tell he truly cares about the people and the food. I’m seriously excited to work my way through the entire menu. I used to go to the Monrovia location back in the day, so I stopped at this one to see if it held up. I was very satisfied! I got the Aloha chicken sandwich combo and the chicken was juicy, crispy, and I’m pretty picky about the meat I eat. The sauce level on the sandwich was perfect, and the fries were a perfect side. Also, the people making the food were super attentive and friendly. I’ll def be back for a quick, scrumptious, affordable meal.

Yaki's has always held a special place in my heart. Their location in Monrovia was a popular pre football game meal stop (when it really should have been a post game meal stop). The Monrovia location has since closed, and now the corner of Alameda and Main is the spot. The menu and all its familiar flavors are the same and never disappoint. Yeah, you can go for the bowls, which range in size from small to 20-pound plates, but my order always stays the same, a yako cheeseburger, a bulldog, and a yakissito. The yako is your standard teriyaki cheeseburger but with a grilled chicken filet married into the melted cheese and topped off with onion, 1000 island and teriyaki sauces. To this day i've never had a burger quite like this anywhere else. Bougie that is I, I'll pay for a side of cabbage to add to the sandwich, it add texture and a bit of acidity that cuts through the melty burger/ chicken combination. In between bites, feel free to nibble on the bulldog. Now the bulldog is especially unique. It is a hot dog wrapped in american cheese and nestled inside a mustard coated spring roll. Accompanying the bulldog is a side of a 1/2 1000 island/ 1/2 teriyaki combination called 'froggy sauce'. One dip and you're hooked. You have to finish off your meal with a deliciously fresh yakissito. The yakissito is a spring roll filled with a homemade pudding and deep fried. Definitely a once in a blue moon treat but worth every calorie. It comes out piping hot and satisfies like few desserts can. The vibe on the corner is lively and a great place to sit and watch the people and cars go by. Come hungry, leave satisfied seems to be the motto here no matter what you try, whether is a bowl, plate, or burger. The owner is always nice and usually either behind the grill or at the register hard at work. I always told them they'd make millions if they bottled both their teriyaki and 'froggy' sauces. Let's hope that Yaki's is still around in 50 years or as long as I can make it to Burbank. Looking forward to my next visit!

So. Much. Food. That. Tastes. So. So. So. Good. Bit seriously, the portions are quite generous and the food is wonderfully filling. What is great about this place is how simple and delicious it really is without trying to showcase that. I have seen this place with a massive line and decided to try it another time, and while I was there they did steady business but without making you wait or leaving you feeling that the food may be rushed. Will definitely be going back. And whatever the little fried hotdog and cheese thing is. That was so good. Try it.

They have a great selection You will walk away with a full stomach and a happy soul... for reals, plus the owner Harry is one of the most genuinely nicest person I have ever meet that truly cares about his customers... it not uncommon for you to be waiting in line and hear Harry call out the peoples name as they order. This is a great overall little lunch stand. It offers great teriyaki beef and chicken bowls. My personal favorite is there bacon avocado cheeseburger. It is the one of the best burgers in town. Also try the bulldogs, and the yakisito, which is the dessert option, they are amazing!

Great little teriyaki spot. Small bowls are more than enough if you are watching your portions. They have a few takes outside to eat on with umbrellas. They also have some bar stool counters if you want. They take debit cards as one form of payment.

Tiny little corner stand with ridiculous flavor. Their bowls are packed with meat, and it's all fantastic. The bulldog and their "Yakisito" are those foods you feel bad for eating, but the bulldog sauce is great, great enough to eat with their other sides and dishes. The rest of the menu leaves a lot to be desired, but the bowls alone make for an amazing experience.

Can not describe how good their food is. A little bit on the pricey side but i guarantee it will fill you up. Share it with a friend and offset the cost. Their menu will surprise you. P. S. Try the bulldog.

I love Yaki's. Their chicken bowls are great, but their bulldogs are something else. This particular Yaki's is a strictly outdoor place. Keep that in mind if you're trying to find a place to escape the heat. Even so, this place is worth sitting outside in the summer for.

Simple, good quality food on the corner of a busy intersection. My online takeout order was ready in less than 10 minutes. I ordered a Chicken Bowl with veggies and an Aloha Sandwich for under $20 not including tip. I would choose this over In N Out!

If you expect your food to be ready when placed through phone or online be prepared to wait or re place your order when you get there. Make sure time is not your limit you might end up waiting quite a while. I don't recommend this place if you're on your break. There food is good though.

Food is awesome, coming here for almost 20 years. Worst part is the parking, only a few spots for the food. The rest of the parking lot says reserved for the offices in the same parking lot. Floor can be a little dirty at times but overall the little stand is clean. Wait times can be extended but they are very efficient in cooking and getting your food to you.

If you're looking for great greasy burger hut food, this place has it. You absolutely must get the bull dog if you go! Prices are pretty reasonable as well (shouldn't be more than 8 bucks for burger/bull dog/drink)

Okay, jokes on me a bit here I had hyped it up in my mind for years. I like the wonton but the teriyaki bowl, which theoretically should be the signature dish was really not a vast improvement over the flame broiler.

Hamburgers are delicious. This is based on my first visit here. However looking at the menu it is way too overcrowded with too much stuff. On a busy corner in Burbank and the wait staff there are direct and to the point but ultimately with a sense of humor.

Only one (last paragraph) MAJOR problem with Yaki's... Yaki's the original Teriyaki has three (3) remarkably unique and great tasting items! Their items are going to be listed from best to best 🤔😁😎 1. Yakissito, which is home made secret pudding wrapped in a spring roll and then deep fried. 2. Bulldog, hot dog wrapped in a spring roll then wrapped with cheese & mustard then deep fried. 3. Teriyaki bowl, charbroiled boneless, skinless with Yaki's SECRET SAUCE and served with steamed rice or cabbage. My only gripe with Yaki's, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASEEEE, USE QUALITY HOT DOGS instead of the low budget mix you are serving or risk losing customers both new & since the beginning of time...

It was hard to hear the person helping me through the plastic shield, but we got it figured out. My hamburger was average. My friend's order was completely forgotten and it took a bit to get that ironed out.

This place is a free-standing, walk-up joint with one guy working the order side and another guy packing food into to-go containers on the pick up side. The order guy rang me up for 2 meals instead of one (at least I got both) and told me it would be 4-5 minutes. 15-20 minutes later of standing outside as delivery drivers pulled up and people who somehow managed to order just 1 meal AFTER me walked away with food...my order came up. Now, the teriyaki steak bowl is delicious. So is the potato salad I got upsold on in the value meal for an extra $0.99...but it also comes with plain, sliced cabbage and carrots on the side. For what? Maybe it's traditional. Who knows? The food's good...but having done both delivery in the past and then this walk-up experience...I'll stick with delivery.

I got a burger here so I can't review their specialty (chicken and beef bowls). The burger was huge and satisfied my bacon burger craving, but it wasn't exceptional. The parking is next to none because this place is more like a roadside stand than a restaurant. I do want to try other things here.

A year or two ago I would have given Yaki’s 5 stars but after today’s meal, it pains me to give it 3 stars. Honestly almost closer to 2. The steak was inedible. Extremely tough and an overly strong charred taste. Seems like they need to clean the grill more regularly throughout the day. The chicken was good but still had a strong charred taste. The bulldog is always a must get. It’s unfortunate to see so many of my favorite restaurants go down in quality due to poor staff. I love the owner, he’s always so nice to everyone but I’d advise he keep a close eye on his workers.

Quick stop! It had a decent rating, so I gave the teriyaki bowl a try. The flavor was decent overall. I like the grilled chicken taste with some crispy parts to it. The meat/cabbage was just the top half and the rest was rice. It didn't come with a lot of sauce, so if you're a sauce person, I'd recommend asking for a bit more. I didn't finish the rice. The cabbage had hints of flavors, but nothing memorable. Would I go back? Not necessarily. But it was busy during lunch and a convenient spot for a lot of nearby workers. I was the only female amongst 6-7 people in line. For the price, it works.

I'm not one to complain but this place earns this rating. I got a normal teriyaki bowl steak/chicken . The portions were a tiny bit of meat and large portion of rice like usual teriyaki places. The chicken tasted good but the beef tasted like they used an old cow that worked the fields it's entire life. Tough, chewy, and not of good quality. Something as simple as the coke was somehow messed up as well. It was flat with little to no carbonation and ridiculously sweet. All in all, I would like to believe all the reviews about this place being great and maybe I just went at a bad time but for now I won't be returning.

It’s a bummer as I try to avoid bigger chains at all costs but this place keeps getting worse both with food quality and operational hours so I must stop patronizing Yakis. I showed up today and they were already closed at 7:50pm when their stated closing time is 8pm. I understand not coming into a dine-in establishment in the final 30min before closing but this is a takeout/order at the window and leave, not dine-in. This has happened multiple times and now. Just change the closing hour to 7pm and then have people be pleasantly surprised if they get in an order at 7:15.

Ok, so. This place is nothing to go out of your way for. Normal tasting chicken yaki. Some may say YUKI...But not quite. It has flavor but beware, you end up paying double for normal servings. There's other places near by that are cheaper and same serving size. Paid $11 for a $8 plate. 😭

1st time trying this place after living a block away for almost 10 years and my food was cold. Had to heat it up when I got home. Not cool.

Unfortunately this was the worst chicken teriyaki I’ve ever had. Chicken was tough and flavorless, there was no dressing on the salad, and overall it just tasted very bland and uninspired. I took it back after taking a few bites, telling them I did not like it and wanted a refund. They said, “it’s ok” so I just went along w it , they gave me a new bowl and it tasted the same. Disappointing, will not be coming back.

Ordered delivery. Two bottom buns on a sandwich, forgot my side order, bone dry and burnt meat, salty, low-quality ingredients. Pass.

Horrible service, two of the stuff members were rude and really unprofessional. He would pass and I’m calling him in the window and he would ignore me. Then he wouldn’t take my order untill he joked about why he was ignoring me. I asked him why he was being like that and he joked and laughed. I didn’t need that today or ever. The last time I bought about 25 buck worth of food which the order was clear enough that it was repeated back. I love in sun valley where I was going to have my meal when I got there the food ni brought home was edible and was lacking most of all. I called back to see about a resolution and the cashier mentioned id get t a refund or a call back to fix the issue. No call back nor did I get a refund. I can say I a little busy at time with a full time job and family so I followed up a week later with another cashier not know how or what to do, was able to resolve the issue a little by getting to know offer a remake of just my two meals or a refund I asked for the food saying it'd be ready by the time I got there. Food wasnt ready but instead a phone call from Harry whom the owner was stating he wanted to make the moment right and charge me for their second mistake instead of the actual order I'm owed. I spent 25 bucks initially on good that was all wrong then wasted time and effort arguing to get less. Even my remake sandwich was made incorrectly and got a sandwich only when I paid for a combo. This definitely reflects on the management Harry is such a cheap guy and makes his business look cheap ap too. I recommend going to Golden bowl in Sherman oaks or even north hollywood.

2 of the 3 workers were absolutely rude and so very unprofessional. Not just to my husband but several other customers... I hope the owner realizes who he's got running the place. The food was good, as usual however we will think twice about coming back anytime soon. We've been loyal patrons for 20+ years this was the worst service ever. We'd hate for the company to lose business due to these 2 guys.

Second to the last time I ordered from there I noticed the left over chicken went rancid in a couple days. I’ve never seen that happen before. It made me wonder if the chicken there wasn’t fresh. But my chicken teriyaki sandwich was pretty good and the value was good so I thought I would give them another try. I ordered through postmates once again, they ignored my request for extra sauce but that’s the least of my problems. I ordered a steak bowl and a chicken teriyaki sandwich. The steak bowl was made incorrectly with steak and chicken. Luckily my partner didn’t eat the chicken because my chicken sandwich got me violently ill for three days. It was the only food I ate that day so I know it wasn’t from something else. I’ve seen tons of 1 Star reviews due to dipping food quality and incredibly rude employees so this was the final straw to make the decision that I will never order from them again. Unless you feel like sitting on the toilet for 3 days I would highly recommend not eating there. Lots of other places to go to. Save yourself the trouble.

This place has went downhill. Went on Monday August 1st, 2022 and the service was horrible. I was told that refills were free(and it says on the board that refills are free while dining in(which I was))but the guy who took my refill said that refills costed 2 dollars. I gave him the 2 dollars and he proceeded to put his dirty hands inside and around my cup. I then asked for ketchup because I didn’t get any with my food like I asked and the same man doing the refills on the drinks proceeded to toss the ketchup out the window. I went up to the window and asked the worker who took my refill why he charged me, when it says on the menu that refills are free. He replied in a mumbled response and I asked him what he said because I couldn’t understand him, and he walked away. I then had someone who I was with go get a refill and see if they were charged. That person came back and they didn’t charge him. The person I was with them asked the guy why he charged me and the worker said “I told him to put in the Tip Jar”(which he never told me). The same guy proceeded to stare at me while I was eating at my table and proceeded to laugh at me. I know 2 dollars isn’t that much but self tipping isn’t right. Who knows if that guy does it on a daily basis. The food isn’t even as good as it used to be too. I’ve never wrote a review for any place but what happened today just rubbed me the wrong way and it was kind of a cheap shot. I definitely won’t be coming to yaki’s any time soon.

Update. Went today at 7:30 pm. Workers were cleaning up, getting ready to close at 8. I drove an hour cause my kid loves the dog pound. If you close at 8--- close at 8. Or cha nge your hours. Yum, don't let the shack fool you. The food is awesome.

The food was way below expectations. I went there after diving by hundreds of times wanting to know what was it that had mini lines of people waiting for. Until I finally ordered a large beef and chicken plate and the was dry and tasteless, while the lettuce in the side tasted old. The potato salad was basic AF and after drowning the rice in spicy mayo was I even able to consider the rice acceptable. Maybe it was an off night for the chefs, but for my first experience it was a bad one.

Decided to try this place today, came home and after a few bites I noticed that my food was raw. I ended up throwing up not so soon after. NEVER AGAIN!!!!

I Called The Resturant Before I Ordered From Doordash. I Told The Restaurant Personel Exactly What I Wanted, But Did Not Get What I Asked For. I Asked For A Large Chicken Breast Sandwich, I Was Given A Small Chicken Thigh Sandwich. When I Contacted The Restaurant They Told Me Nothing Could Be Done. I Told Them That I Am Currently In The Hospital Recovering From A Storke. But To No Avail They Didn't Care. I Feel Like My Business Was Not Appreciated And I Will Never Patronized This Establishment Again. And The Sandwich Was Too Tough And Dry To Eat.
