I've been coming to Zono sushi for years, the sushi is delicious yet very affordable. They have different menus for dinner and used to have happy hour, I'm not sure that they still do, but again it's affordable sushi for great quality which is hard to find. Great spot if you want to satisfy your sushi craving!
Great place, first time here and we were amazed by how beautiful and tasteful the rolls were. We ordered the caterpillar roll, dragon roll and red dragon roll. They just melt in your mouth and the explosion of flavors are too good! Staff were very nice and a high five to the chef! He cares about quality!
Great happy hour menu. Nice and sweet waitress. Excellent quality of food. Always has the Dodgers' game on.
Great experience! Food was fresh and delicious, service was very polite and speedy. Ordered a salmon sashimi, langostino roll, and some nigiri. Everything was great, some of the better sashimi I've had in the area! Will definitely be back! Tried it on a whim and I enjoyed my choice.
I needed to pass some time so I decided to stop in Zono Sushi, and I’m so glad I did! The service was terrific. The food I ordered tasted great and had the right amount of seasoning. I happened to be there during their happy hour too so the prices were fantastic!
The sushi chef was Classic and the right amount of distant as we ordered at the sushi bar. The miso soup and cold green tea was delicious for starters. The tuna sushimi was fresh and delicious, the halibut was good too. I told the sushi chef that I had come from the dentist so he offered to make our California rolls without seaweed. It was so good that I will order it that way from now on and I can't wait to return to Zono Sushi! Yum!
This place is a hidden gem! I highly recommend getting food here. The sushi was delicious and I really enjoyed it! Staff was super kind and I will be sure to come back again. Highly recommend it!

Love eating here. I recommend the cream cheese ragoons.
Sushi in beautiful City of Burbank California my one of the favorites places.
This has been my favorite sushi place for 10+ years!
Best sushis in town!
Always fresh and tasty.
Another one of our favorite Japanese restaurants
Favorite place in the valley, great food
Great food and service...
Ita greatfor birthdays and family outings.
Their lunch special is a super deal!
Love it great food and serve
Pricy but tasty sushi 🍣🍣
Try the fried calamari (appetizer), it's perfectly cooked. The Sashimi seems like it has never been frozen, its delicious.
Great little sushi place that s a great value for the quality of product. Staff is excellent as well!
The make a scrumptious yellowtail collar and a perfect unagi (eel) so that alone will keep me coming back...good service, good food, good prices...what more could you ask for?
Always love coming here to eat Food is great and service is very friendly and fast Great place for a date night or to spend with family and friends
Quiet little place but fantastic food at a great price. The crab meat puffs are to die for.
One of my favorite sushi place, the service is fast the food is great!
Really good food and great prices, especially Happy Hour.
I've been eating here for decades and it continues to be high quality with excellent service!!☺️
Quaint, quiet restaurant with friendly staff an delicious food. Reasonable prices
My favorite sushi spot in Burbank, the food is great and the prices are reasonable!
Awesome place delicious sushi priced right. Amazing staff
Fresh fish, great prices, always consistent! One of my favorites in Burbank!
Great service and food. The sexy roll is my fav.
Happy hour menu is all you need for some great food and drinks.
Good sushi. They have happy hour specials all day.
Love this place, my favorite food here is the seasme seed chicken
Love this place but why are they only open the weekends now?
Great service, great food, and a good atmosphere.
Amazing happy hour here! Delicious food.
Good sushi and reasonable prices. Friendly staff
Great. Better than its surroundings would indicate to the casual observer.
Excellent sushi well reasonably priced would go back as often as I possibly can. Was really enjoyable and it's a really relaxed setting
Great fresh rolls, chef has amazing skills! 10/10 would recommend. Anything spicy tuna!
Service was excellent, all our needs were met. I had mahi mahi, which I hadn't ordered before. I also had veg tempura, which I specialized to my preference. They cooked exactly what I ordered, and I was completely satiated. Not the first time I've been here, and won't be the last!
Tucked away in Burbank, our favorite sushi spot! Fresh delicious sushi! Easy, always Rockstar parking! There is always a separate happy hour menu with great prices too!!! YUM!!!
They make some of the best unagi around... I really did their service and the atmosphere... I dine here frequently when going to the movies and have yet to have a bad experience... As luck would have it every time I go there there something on their specials that I enjoy having... This week it was the yellowtail collar... 2 enthusiastic thumbs up
Came in for lunch and was greeted immediately even though they had a lunch rush crowd. Great food, great service what more can you ask for? Perfect even when handling a lunch crowd.
This is my sushi spot! Love coming here to watch the Dodgers play. Always great service 👍 Food taste amazing.
Love going here. There is always a happy hour. Can't beat that. Sushi and Rolls are good. Service is great.
We came here for our anniversary dinner. The food was outstanding, our server was excellent and friendly. Highly recommend this spot
Oysters are a bit pricey but over all food and good ... not very busy as it is almost to the end of the area. The philly rolls, shishito peppers and oysters were my favorite.
Great sushi and friendly service! Been going here for years. Parking is easy and the happy hour sushi specials are very good.
I LOVE ZONOS! Good prices, service and legit sushi. My favorite are ... - Grilled Squid - Sesame Chicken - Mountain roll
Excellent rolls! Lots of good flavor.
Enjoyed dinner. Great service and sushi. Ordered the Salmon Sashimi, Baby Langostino Roll, Japanese Scallops Sushi, Amberjack Sushi
The food was very delicious and tasty. The price was decent, and the food amount is huge. I would recommend anyone to go here. 👌👌👌
Found this place right off of I-5 in Burbank. Made it just before happy hour finished. Glad I did. My daughter and I got 2 appetizers (gyoza [6 of them] and Japanese egg rolls [2 of them]), a California roll, and a Crunch roll from the happy hour menu. All were very reasonably priced and all of it was delicious. We also got a tempura udon bowl for less than $10 which had 2 shrimp and a variety of veggies. It was also very good. To top things off the service was extremely fast and the staff were all very nice. This was more than enough food for the two of us. I'm glad I don't live in the L.A. area because this place would become a habit. It's well worth the stop, and there's plenty of garage parking available right next to the restaurant.
We love this place! You can't beat the 7 days of the week happy hour prices from 6-8 PM on a good selection of sushi and select saki and beer selection. The staff is always so friendly especially our favorite server Jackie and we really like their food.
We decided to come here while we stayed in burbank over the weekend. In my opinion, this was one of the best meals I've ever had. Everything was fresh and prepared with love. I had the dinner special with sashimi and bulgogi, my son had the gyoza and sesame chicken, and my husband had the spider roll and another roll. We all left very satisfied and the value was amazing!! We will definitely return the next time we are in town.
I come here with a group as small as 3 guests and as many as 8 guests. A table is always available, l've never had to wait more than 10 minutes (give or take). There is a back room with tables and booths, better for large parties. The front of the restaurant is lined with booths and a bar. Restrooms are available for customers. There are no stairs so this place is handicap accessible. The staff always greets you as you walk in. Always very kind and on top of everything. Service is fast but never rushed. The noise level is pretty quiet with conversation going on between other diners. If you want some selection to your meal I would suggest the lunch/dinner special. It comes with miso soup, small salad, California roll pieces, fried cream cheese wanton, fried potsticker and two items off the specials menu. just the right amount of food. Ingredients are always fresh and cooked perfectly. If you have a hankering for some rolls the menu is extensive. They are great with customization if you need to remove or would like to add an ingredient. (21+) Try some sake. Always comes cool and is fun to share with some friends. My favorite item on the menu is the beef bulgogi and garlic edamame (it's packed with garlic).
Literally, a hidden gem. This place was great for a happy hour sushi spot. Lots of variety in their menu, but simple enough to not be overwhelmed. The atmosphere is relaxing with enough lighting to see the beautiful decor. Most sushi places can be quite dim. Our server was so sweet and attentive but not overbearing whatsoever. Definitely my new go to spot when shopping around Glendale :)
Went here for dinner, which was delicious. The hot tea was also really good, which helped on a cold evening! The service was attentive and the sushi bar had lots of options. The hand rolls were really tasty, and so were the fancier rolls.
Visited here with my wife to have a nice evening. The menu was good, especially the soups; the broth was so tasty, the flavors were perfect. The restaurant owner needs to upgrade the furniture and walls and repair the ceiling; they will have more visitors for sure. Overall, a good place to eat delicious soups and sushi. Thanks for the warm welcome and good service!
Please keep supporting this Business. Its very well priced and the fish on the Sushii is very good size compared to Lots other establishments who charge more and give you significantly smaller size. We've been watching past 3 - 4 now that trend, when were out of area or sometimes convenience of time and we tried other places, some we still vist But only get the rolls cause their sushii fish portion is ridiculous. We've drive 25 mins. and been going here for bout 26 years, seen owner change but Masa (the Chef) still same. Its your money, if you want great Sushii at good price.
We've been enjoying this restaurant for over 8 years. The food is good, the prices are good, they have a happy hour that runs till 9:00. Seating at the bar, seating in the front booths, and larger seating area in the rear. Parking is plentiful in the parking garage adjacent to it. It's near the theaters, the mall, and all the shops along San Fernando Boulevard. The staff is friendly and accommodating!
Zono is a hidden GEM!!!! The moment you walk in, it feels like you're family...you're home ❤️ I have been coming here for almost 19 years and my sushi guy Masa is the BEST! The sushi is suuuper fresh and soooo delicious! He makes your sushi to YOUR liking 💯! Not only is the food here amazing, but the staff... Masa, Aui, Uni, Mia, William, Santiago, Chris, Jose, Tomo, (Mo-who no longer works here :( )... are the shit! Shout out to all of them for real 🙌 if you come here you will NOT be disappointed. If anything, you will want to come back here every time you're craving sushi or even just for drinks and the chill environment. Trust me, you will not regret coming here. Jay (The Owner) knows how to run a business and to keep his customers customers happy 😊 Thank you Zono for being around all these years... and more years to come!
I have been coming here with friends for several years and always enjoyed the staff and the service. The staff are very kind and attentive, and make sure that you were well tended to. The meals are always delicious and the tea is always served piping hot. I really love their Happy Hour roll selection that’s available for dine in only. I hope that this restaurant can continue to thrive and survive in the many years to come.😊

The mackerel covered California roll was very satisfying and I would recommend it as it was the most generous on mackerel I'veever had! The cheese covered mussels were very good, but we initially burned and on the second try were cooked to perfection. I would come back again, but recommend a little more attention to detail and perhaps an apology when service falls short. I wasn't given chopsticks, napkins or soy sauce for my sushi. I had to wait extra with no acknowledgement of the inconvenience. I was pleased in the end with the quality of the food.
Food was good. Fast and friendly staff. I personally thought there was too much vinegar in the rice.

Good sushi, nice atmosphere, relatively inexpensive.
Great staff and Happy Hour
GREAT SERVICE. The staff is kind and efficient. Not as many rolls as I'd like to choose from, but the tempura is phenomenal.
Good affordable sushi, but the service has lost its friendly touch it's once had.
The food is really good!! but the service can be slow sometimes.
Good food, nice atmosphere, good prices, excellent service.
No recent reviews so thought I'd write one. Been coming here off and on for a couple years. The sushi chef, I forget his name but he's the main guy. He's Japanese so that's a plus. The fish overall is usually an 8/9 out of 10. Service is always good but I've never been there when it's super busy so.... But overall it's a good place for sushi when you're in Burbank.
Happy hour all day with good prices. Fresh food but nothing out of the ordinary. Garlic edamame is fantastic. Clean restaurant, attentive service
My wife n I and friends use to go here a Lot. Haven't been for a while but I was never disappointed on how fresh the fish was.
I really liked this place. It seems to be a local favorite. We were there on a Wednesday around 6:00 p.m. Lots of people were coming in for takeout orders and several people were dining in for happy hour specials. I spoke to a customer picking up takeout and they said they'd been going there for sushi for 10 years. The night we ate there there was only one waitress. We were told it would be a 20 minute wait. We ended up waiting less. The understaffing did cause a drawback in the neatness of the tables. Which is why I'm giving it 4 stars instead of five. Our table was cleared of dishes but I didn't see anyone wipe it down. 😕 Still, the service was good and the food was great and more importantly, tasted fresh! We ordered a crunchy roll, spider roll, spicy tuna roll, salmon poke roll, and the langostinos roll. Our top three favs were the spicy tuna, the langostinos, and the salmon poke. Overall this was a good place for fresh tasting sushi in the Burbank area and we will keep this one on our list for the next time we're in that area.

It's okay. Wouldn't recommend it unless if you're having a quick sushi craving
Food good. Service mmm 😕
They need help. Understaffed.
It's fine. Food is plentiful but not necessarily best quality.
The food was bland and basic, very underwhelming. Interiors could do with a refurbish.
Food was mediocre. The manager or possibly owner at least cared enough to come ask what was wrong with a roll we ordered. It was a salmon asparagus garlic roll and the asparagus was way too raw inside. He took it back and made the asparagus tempura style and brought it back which was appreciated. But food overall was mediocre.
Good food for a reasonable price especially their lunch special, Except their steak is tough n chewy, I did not eat mine
Sushi was just ok. Too much mayo in most things I ate, seafood quality was good. Price is not as great as these reviews made it out to sound. Also, very, very slow service at lunch.
Hun I would not even call this sushi. Got some lunch here today. It was dry and not fresh. Could have just gone to mcdonalds and had the fish filet at least that is fresh.
Not the best sushi place to go to
Friend of mine wanted to check this place out, so we did. First impressions walking in, "why is this place so empty!?" Should've been a dead giveaway right then & there to walk back out. Sat us at a booth with torn cushions & a dusty divider with fake grass. Everything on the menu was imitation crab, Low quality sushi! Wouldn't recommend this place for real sushi lovers.
The wait staff was not very friendly and they kept telling us that they were closing while some of us were still eating. The food quality and quantity was not good for the price. We heard then asking each other "are they done yet?". Not welcoming at all and we even called ahead to reserve seating that they didn't want to accommodate us with once we arrived there
I came in during happy hour, asked about happy hour, pointed at the happy hour menu while ordering. Then got a bill at not happy hour prices. The waitress told me I have to specifically ask for the hand rolls...which is abbreviated h/r on their menu and I knew nothing about. But like I said- pointed at happy hour and asked about happy hour. Paid my bill and tipped without making a fuss because I know working with customers blows...but definitely feel scammed. Sushi wasnt that great honestly. Probs woulda gone back for convenience without the scammy behavior but you can't have meh food and bad service ya know?
Good sushi, but brought down by the service. Placing the order has to be done immediately, or they will not come back for 15 minutes. Once you placed your order, no refills. It wasn't a busy night either, but they seemed unorganized and unwilling to even charge me! I waited at the front with check and credit card at hand...took 10 minutes to be charged. Great eel, but can't overlook the horrible service. Won't be back. They need to clean that glass ceiling they have in the dining room as well... Does not induce appetite! Fix torn cushions.
I was really hungry and I needed something to eat. The problem was that it was late at night and the options were limited. So, when I found this place, I was happy because I love sushi. Unfortunately, the sushi did not taste good and it was not fresh at all. A definite waste of money! I will not be coming back here!

Service is Rude an not patient at all. We went on a slow day
The worst sushi place I've ever had. The positives were: the staff was nice and the place was decently decorated. I hate to leave a bad review but in all honesty, this place was trash. I've had better sushi in rural Missouri. It took over an hour to get our food. We ordered Chicken Teryaki and 7 of the special/signature rolls (3 different types) - which were cold, and smelled like a mixture of vomit and wet dog food - which didn't taste much better than it smelled. To be fair, I have only been to Zono once (and will not return, ever). I'm hoping my visit was just a result of bad timing, but business is no excuse for a restaurant to serve such disgusting food.
Worst customer service ever !!!! We specifically asked our waitress to point out the cooked , deep fried or baked sushi rolls and so she did. After placing the order we asked her again just to make sure that they were all cooked and she confirmed YES. After receiving one of the rolls raw we asked her to please change this one since it’s raw we only want the cooked ones. I guess she was a new so she said that she will ask her manager. She came back and stated that per her manager ( which we than found out was just another waitress not a manger ) she can not replace our order and that if she were to take the order back she would have to pay for it from her pocket Wahoo I had never heard that one so then we told her that’s fine just leave it and we won’t eat it. Than her supposedly manager came and very rudely said that we don’t normally take orders back unless there’s something wrong with it ‘’hmmmmm there is something wrong with it it’s raw and we didn’t want raw ‘’ She grabbed the plate from the table and just took it back and never asked if we wanted to get something else. We kept looking for our waitress to order another plate or get a refill but none of them came back to our table to see if we needed anything. I will never go back to this place again because of the service that was provided you lost a loyal customer. I will not recommend this place to anyone ever again. HORRIBLE service
Ive been here many times with no issue but tonight we saw a HUGE COCKROACH under our table! Pointed it out to the worker standing by and my boyfriend got up to help him kill it. He acted like nothing happened and we still got our bill in full. Bullshit. Not coming back.
