Ottima qualità. Risotto alla milanese squisito. Personale educato e professionale. Spazi un poco stretti (tanto che eravamo divisi in tre tavolate) ma comunque vivibili, location caratteristica. E poi ti portano il vino di Milano. Non posso esprimermi sul prezzo, pranzo aziendale pagato.

Ci sono stato in due diverse occasioni, prima per una cena di lavoro e poi con la mia compagna. In entrambi i casi ho mangiato molto bene. Una sera ho preso la tipica cotoletta alla milanese con funghi porcini come antipasto, mentre nell’altra occasione ho scelto l’ossobuco con risotto alla milanese. Il tutto accompagnato da una buona bottiglia di vino. Un ristorante che consiglio a tutti. L’unica nota negativa è il conto, ma dopotutto siamo a Milano.

The star of the show was undoubtedly the Costoletta alla Milanese—it was top-notch and perfectly executed. This trattoria has a classic vibe, with pure and typical Milanese cusine. This is a Milan highlight for me. Authentic and delicious food, impeccable service. The servers are all career waiters, older men (I say this time and time again, best sign), and I was blown away by the attention to detail, every detail of the interiors and utensils were beautiful. You can tell everyone who worked there takes pride in what they do. The tortellinis, with ricotta cheese and spinach, with butter and sage are such a simple dish and so so well done. The gnocchi with gorgonzola cheese are a plate for those who enjoy a good strong in palate dish, even though amazingly balanced. And I recommend to book much in advance!!!

The excellent food alone deserves 5 stars, but the refined old school atmosphere and exceptional service takes this dining experience to a sublime level. We looked forward to our lunch here after talking to with a local and asking for a dining recommendation. She was very enthusiastic about looking it up on the map for us so she could share one of her favorite restaurants in Milan with us. We wish we could personally thank this stranger for such a lovely recommendation. We started with Prosciutto di Parma, it was delicious. Then I had the Gnocchi verdi al gorgonzola, a truly wonderful dish. I can’t recall the name of what my wife ordered but it was an excellent stuffed pasta with sage and butter I believe, a delightful combination that was a joy to taste. This restaurant is not cheap but it is worth the money for a very pleasurable dining experience.

Excellent Milanese cuisine in a very charming historical setting. Tables are set with monogrammed linens and silver. Dishes are brought to the tables on a cart by the waiters. Before coming to Milan, read several articles and watched a few YouTube videos on the best restaurants for local Lombardian/Milanese cuisine. This place was mentioned in every single one and did not disappoint. Be prepared for Milanese Viel, Saffron Risotto and various other cuts and chops. A must visit when in Milan in my opinion.

This restaurant is located near Corso Como and represents a pillar of Milanese traditional kitchen and flavors. The signature dishes are risotto alla milanese, with saffron and parmesan, also with beef meat and bones. There are also good appetizers like ham, salami and other typical Italian. The service is quick and very expert. The price is relatively high, but definitely deserves a try.

Antica trattoria in zona porta Garibaldi non agevole per il parcheggio auto. La cucina è consigliata per chi ama la carne ma non solo in particolare per la specialità della casa ovvero ossobuco con risotto alla milanese (ben 40€) che sicuramente ha un buon sapore per chi piace ma sicuramente già preparato per la rapidità con cui è stato servito e la quantità industriale che ne producono. Non usufruito di altro oltre a vino rosso barbera e amaro. Servizio cordiale e singolare il fatto di potersi sedere in compagnia di altre persone già presenti allo stesso tavolo. Ambiente ed estetica del locale caldo e accogliente per quelle che sono le particolarità del posto e che ricordano le calde trattorie in giornate fredde ed umide. Igiene buona. In conclusione costi veramente alti per i piatti sopra citato + amaro acqua e vino Ma pensano veramente che i soldi. Tirate voi le conclusioni.

Eccellente! Da provare assolutamente se si va a Milano per assaporare un po' di storia. Locale dell'800che incredibilmente ha mantenuto ancora l'arredo del tempo! Basta guardare le pareti in legno tenute benissimo nonostante l'età, la stufa, le posate o il mobilio per capire che se non sono originali l'arredatore ha sicuramente fatto un ottimo lavoro per dare continuità al locale. Se siete amanti della storia, pensate che lo stesso Ho Chi Minh vi ha lavorato negli anni '30! Davvero suggestivo al solo pensiero. Oltre alla location particolarissima devo ammettere che anche la cucina è molto buona. Da provare cotoletta e risotto con ossobuco, due classici eseguiti alla perfezione. Se proprio devo trovare una pecca, l' unica può essere data dal prezzo, medio alto. La storia costa!

Se cercate dei piatti tipici milanesi siete nel posto giusto, buona la qualità della materia prima, trattata in maniera adeguata. Porzioni nella norma e personale molto gentile. Consiglio il filetto al pepe verde e il risotto al salto con i rognoncini. Prezzo altino in rapporto al valore degli elementi nel piatto: per quanto ben cucinati i piatti non hanno dietro uno studio o una ricerca che ne giustificano il costo così alto, sono semplici ricette della tradizione.

Dated back to 1880, one of the oldest restaurants in Milano offering traditional dishes from the local tradition. They are well prepared and of a good quality. I ordered handmade cappelletti and a good and tasting ossobuco with the classic risotto milanese. Very nice and friendly staff. If you visit Milano I recommend to book a table at this restaurant.

If you need something traditional but old fashioned style of decoration here is your place! We order the signature plates like Gnocchi with Gorgonzola which was really good with melted sauce, pasta with porcini mushrooms also quite good and the totally signature plate Osobucco with Milanese risotto which was really a signature plate and very taste. For the end Zambagione but even if it was “airy” it was very sweet. Finally we pay near 150€ which look expensive for that with one 2 glass of red wine and one grappa.

We were the first to arrive and the welcome was quite cold and off. Placed at a table to the back of the establishment. Menu in both Italian and English so this was a plus at least. The food was very tasty, cannot fault for that, but it was very pricey. The staff first brought over these little meatballs which were very nice. I had the Milanese fried veal which is what it is - did not come with anything! I ordered some mash potatoes - this was divine, super soft and buttery. My mum had the tomato pasta and this was nice. Dad had a roast veal with lemon and capers, which the staff pre-warned is a cold dish - Dad was very happy with the meal. Unfortunately, the waiter kept lingering around us which was slightly intimidating. The atmosphere was very cold, quiet, and awkward to begin with. Slowly throughout the meal more people arrived and livened the place up, but it would have been nice if we had this feeling from the start.

Porzione di patate (forse due patate) 12€! Potrei continuare, ma evito! Servizio sufficiente. Tavolo stretto, giusto per 8… peccato che eravamo in 11. Siamo stati qui perché consigliati come uno dei migliori ristoranti storici di Milano. In 3 abbiamo assaggiato: - ossobuco - cotoletta alla milanese - tagliatelle. Buoni (ma senza eccellere nonostante i prezzi) ossobuco e tagliatelle. Ma spendere 40 € per una cotoletta del genere è veramente un furto. Poco spessa, di dimensioni modeste, senza sale. Servizio nella norma. Prezzo assolutamente non proporzionato alla qualità.

Ristorante storico di Milano che però non ha soddisfatto né per la qualità della materia prima, né per il rapporto qualità/prezzo, tantomeno per il servizio. Il risotto alla milanese era buono, ma se ne trovano di migliori, mentre la cotoletta è risultata per niente piacevole per quanto era sottile e fritta in un olio pesante. Un calice di Vino Nobile di Montepulciano a 13€? E il coperto a 5€ a persona solo perché offrono due mini mondeghili (peraltro serviti freddi)? Due camerieri sembravano quasi infastiditi dalla nostra presenza, davvero scorbutici. Siamo rimasti profondamente delusi: personalmente non consiglierei di spendere 70€ e oltre a persona in questo ristorante.
