Cenamos en este local hace unas dos semanas. El restaurante tiene un encanto especial en pleno centro histórico de Cáceres. Cenamos en un salón amplio con decoración palaciega muy acogedor. La comida estupenda con una bonita presentación. Lo mejor fue la atención del personal, Cristina y Alberto, su trato fue exquisito e hizo que nuestra velada fuese inolvidable. Esperamos volver pronto.

He ido a cenar con dos amigas y nos ha encantado a las tres. La comida buenísima y merece la pena en relación calidad precio, y el servicio inmejorable. No es la primera vez que voy, pero tampoco va a ser la última 😊

We went here after our walk around the old town. No reservations, ring the bell & someone will come to either let you in or tell you how long it is going to be before a table will be available. We got a table after about 20 minutes. The food was excellent; we had pork cheeks with mash potatoes & sauce, baclava in a hot cheese sauce & croquettes. The warm bread roll came in a small bag (to keep it warm). We also had a couple of drinks including a zero alcohol malt beer. Great value for about €35 in total. We really enjoyed being in La Cacharreria for a long no rushing tapas lunch.

There’s a cool and quiet patio here and an elegant eating room inside. The food is delicious and Middle Eastern which means there are some options for vegetarians. Fur is it was a welcome change from the Spanish obsession with pig. Their portions are not huge which was good for me, however, the food is high quality and tasty and you can order more. Google translate didn’t work here so I relied on familiar favourites and enjoyed them all Prices are reasonable and everything is nicely presented. Staff were helpful as they could be, Go ahead and ring the door bell..

This place is simply excellent. The service, atmosphere, and food are all worth the trip to this wonderful restaurant. First off, the huevo con trufalo was transformative. I’ve had eggs in many different ways - shakshuka, tea egg, Spanish omelette, etc - but none as nearly as delicious as I’ve had here. The rest of the dishes are good as well but the egg is extremely special. The service is delightful. As a solo traveller, it is sometimes hard to get quality attention, but I got that here. The space itself is very nice as well. Excellent, excellent, excellent all around, and very reasonable prices. Highly recommend - but should note you should be there right at 8:30pm as there will be a line (well deserved).

This was probably one of the best restaurants I have been. The place itself looks great and it has a good location. The service is very kind and it's one of the few places to eat that really follows a strict Covid protocol. The food is amazing. It's very experimental,so it might not be your choice if you don't like to try new things. But if you are into it, this is your place. And so cheap!!!! We paid a lot less and ate way better than we did in the main square. I will surely go back when I am in Cáceres.

This place is like a tappas factory with the wait staff efficiently rushing about delivering tasty tappas to all the tables. The only thing lacking was the tableside banter. The waitstaff was so efficient they barely stopped to talk. Show up early (8:30) and there's still a line out the door. They do not accept reservations. Two tappas are plenty per person. Agradable y acogedor. El personal es muy atento. La carta es algo corta por lo que, entre cuatro personas, se pueden probar todas las tapas sin problema. Todos los platos están bastante bien elaborados y sorprenden algunas mezclas de sabores. Además, la relación calidad-precio es inmejorable. Buena opción para llevar a invitados sin dejarte la cartera en ello.

El sitio es súper acogedor y muy especial. Eres como cenar o comer en un salón antiguo y viajar en el tiempo. La comida está exquisita, aunque las raciones son algo escasas ( En una sirven 2 canelones por ejemplo....) Cuando fuimos nosotros, en invierno, en el local hacia frío. Al ser una casona antigua no calienta bien. Sin duda es un sitio muy singular que al menos merece la pena probar una vez.

Quirky place (no reservations, you have to buzz to be let in) with seating outside and in. Tapas plates and raciones - particular highlights were the solomillo and the warm chicken salad - all good value and with a twist on traditional tapas. Reasonably priced wines by the glass too.

Three good-sized, tasty tapas and 4 glasses of nice Vinho Verde for €35 in a quiet, tasteful setting. Opens 8.30pm and there was a short queue. Unlikely you´ll get in if you are in a group as most tables are for couples. Service a bit unfriendly, but not rude.

El restaurante es bonito pero tienen tantas mesas q casi no puedes moverte. La atención regular, al llegar tienes q llamar y no te dejan pasar hasta q comprueban si hay sitio. La comida está bien preparada pero las taoas son muy pequeñas para los 8€ o 8,5€ que cuesta cada una. Dos de las tapas que teníamos pensado no las tenían disponibles. Un poco decepcionada.

Conocí este restaurante hace muchos años, cuando lo abrieron y con la primera dirección, aquella pareja de chicos al mando con la encargada de sala tan maja. Ahora ha cambiado mucho. El local es EXACTAMENTE el mismo, pero claro, años después ya necesita un retoque. En mi caso, pese a lo que dicen otras reseñas, el servicio fue amable y atento, y también eficiente. En la carta mantienen algunos de los clásicos originales: la croquetas de patatera, el bacalao a la dorada, etc. (que fue precisamente lo que pedí). Al menos en eso, las raciones son más que suficientes y desde luego acordes al precio; lo que vi en otras mesas no justifica las críticas de otras reseñas respecto a la cantidad. Todo sigue estando rico, pero ya no es “mágico”, como lo recordaba de la etapa. Antes era, para mí, un “must” de mis visitas a Cáceres y ahora es solo una opción más. Cerveza Estrella Galicia, incluso 1906 de grifo, fría y a precio normal. El pan es precocido y lo calientan en el horno al momento, pero eso hace que tarde en llegar, y no deja de ser un pan “de gasolinera”. En fin, merece la pena al menos por probar las tapas, que son ricas y, en mi caso, el servicio agradable, pero no es obligatorio en tu visita a Cáceres.

Curioso bar de tapas en el que llegas y está cerrado: hay que llamar al timbre y al cabo de unos minutos vienen a abrirte. Local bonito con las mesas muy juntas. La comida curiosa , buena , difícil de clasificar:mezcla de comida de aquí con platos de otros países como guacamole o humus. Eso si, todo lo que probamos estaba muy rico (raciones pequeñas)

Muy poco personal para la cantidad de mesas que había. Si bien los chicos se esforzaban por atender correctamente, los tiempos eran largos y poco eficientes. La comida decepcionó, platos con poco sabor e ingredientes que sabían artificiales. Pedimos un vino tinto que llegó completamente frío. Una pena por el gran potencial de este lugar.

Tasty food but really small portions, I would recommend to order 3 tapas per person. Come only if you have time for a few hours dinner because everything unfortunately takes longer that it should. Anyway the food was delicious but in terms of portions - way too expensive.

If you want to be treated with the utmost indifference and dislike by the staff and at the same time have a good dining experience, then this is the place to go.

Comida rica pero pequeñísimas cantidades. Te ponen el pan directamente sin pedirlo para que te llene un poco, el pan es una barra partida. Un frio que hace desagradable el lugar, una estufa vendría genial para no cenar con el abrigo puesto. No merece la pena ir.

I find the place overall pretentious for a very average place. There was a gate that blocked the entrance and you needed the personnel to open it so you could enter. My husband needed to go change clothes due the cold inside and they wouldn't let him in when he returned. Inside most of the tables were bar style tall tables with uncomfortable stools. The decoration is nice but there was a weird silence when we entered which made us feel uncomfortable. There is only one toilet so the waiting time can be long. The service was fast overall but the waiters came twice with the wrong plates that were destined for other tables. We were 3 people and we tried to order 3 plates but we were advised to order more since the portions were small. That was actually good advice because the portions were small and all the plates we ordered had 8.5 Euros. The quality of the food was average overall. One plate was spicy and there was no comment on the menu about it. We ordered a glass of "Habla de ti" white wine that was too acidic and tasted like a wine from a carton. Unfortunately that place was recommended as a first option from the owner of the apartment we stayed at but I wouldn't recommend it. Certainly not typical for Spain.

After being disappointed that they didn't open till 20.30 we filled our time wandering the streets. Then we turned up at the time to see a huge queue, then stood in the cold for 40 mins to have the door closed in our faces! My husband wasn't happy as this behaviour is very rude. He asked that the door not be closed and we would wait. The waiter became very aggressive and refused us entry. This is not the way to treat people. They need to learn manners and not be so pompous. I would definitely not recommend this restaurant in a million years. They do not deserve to have a business.
