I walked by and thought it looked nice, so I decided to visit. It completely exceeded my expectations. The food was incredible, the service and atmosphere were outstanding, and the wine was fantastic. The espresso was excellent too. I sat beside some friendly locals who were clearly celebrating a birthday and having a wonderful time as well. Easily a 10/5 experience!

Incredible - best restaurant in Calpe! Our dinner there was so good we went back for lunch the following day. Great menu, beautiful fresh pasta and gnocchi and delicious, huge, desserts. I’d go back to Calpe just to eat here.

Wow what a place, food was absolutely brilliant, we shared a starter, what was so tasty, fresh and different, lovely house Rose wine, pizza was spot on, chicken and pasta was very tasty, only issue I found a very small bone in chicken, 1 would recommend this place also book in advance to avoid disappointment.

Update 14/04/24 food great as usual !! You can not complain about this restaurant food is beautiful and priced very well, Been here a few times now and have to say it’s a lovely restaurant! Food is great, very tasty and very fairly priced !!! Would definitely recommend!! Only negative €13.50 for a gin and tonic is a little excessive!! Other than that beautiful place to eat

Me and my husband have had two lovely experiences with this restaurant. We had the best lasagna and shrimp we have had in Spain. The service is lovely and the manager has been super friendly upon our requests. I highly recommend this place when in Calpe for good service and good prices!

A lovely meal had with helpful friendly staff and really tasty food. Took social distancing very seriously with an app to download the menu and anti bac wipes for when you sit down. Food was very delicious and good value. We had burrata salad starter, a must have with garlic bread followed by four cheese pizza and gnocci with pesto, mozzarella and sun dried tomatoes, yum!!

Restaurante italiano increíble. Pedimos Pappardelle Fontana di Tritone y Tagliatelle carbonara al Tartufo, espectaculares. La pasta al dente y muy sabrosa. De postre escogimos un cannolo de pistacchio, todo un acierto, la verdad.

Camareros muy atentos, comanda sale pronto. Disponen de terraza y salón, con ventiladores y aire acondicionado. Tienen comida para ser italiano para celiacos bastante variedad, en pasta y pizzas. Son platos muy contundentes son buenas raciones. Ensalada Tevere. Pizza Antica Roma. Pizza salami. Sitio muy recomendado si te gusta la comida italiana.

Buen restaurante italiano. El sabor de los platos es espectacular, además su carta es muy variada y los vegetarianos tendrán más opciones que las típicas ensaladas. La camarera fue muy simpática y el tiempo de espera fue medio-alto. No tenían aire acondicionado y hacía calor. Fuera corre más el viento pero estás en la calle, cerca del tránsito de coches. Aseo muy limpio. Acceso para silla de ruedas. La comida sale a 15€ por persona

Muy bien la comida, ha estado muy bien. El personal un poco perdido, preguntabas y no sabían muy bien de la carta o de los productos. De resto, todo bien

Paramos a cenar y nos dieron mesa en la terraza. Fue rápido pese a no tener reserva. La chica que nos dio la mesa algo desagradable, pero el resto del personal nos trató muy bien y el servicio fue rápido pese a estar casi lleno y por la cantidad de mesas que tiene el restaurante. La comida toda muy bien, pedimos provolone y ensalada de pollo de entrante y de segundos, pasta, lasaña y pizza. Todo muy bueno. De postre tiramisu con frutos rojos que estaba riquísimo. Nos gustó por la comida.

Pizzería agradable en Calpe, los precios son bastante económicos y la pizza está buena. El servicio es bueno a pesar de que tienen mucha afluencia. Tienen opciones sin gluten, tanto pizzas como pastas. Se echa en falta aire acondicionado en la sala pero tienen ventiladores. Se admiten mascotas Una buena opción!

Anoche fuimos a cenar al restaurante como último día de las vacaciones, y la verdad es que lo pasamos genial. La atención al cliente fue muy buena, se nota que ellos tienen su propio sistema, y por cómo les fue con nosotros, es bastante eficiente. Sin embargo, el hecho de que fuese tan protocolario provocó que la atención fuese un poco extraña a veces, con esperas un poco innecesarias y momentos algo incómodos. En cuanto a la comida, la verdad es que fue una pasada. Si bien quizás todo un poco aceitoso (tampoco controlo si la comida italiana es así), todo estaba buenísimo, y agradecimos mucho la opción de poner en un tupper lo que sobraba. Consejo para futuros clientes: si pilláis varios platos de pasta, pizza, etc. y compartís, es muy rentable y podréis probar más con un precio más económico. Y no pidáis el pan con alioli que os sajan 7€ Finalmente, en cuanto al ambiente, nosotros no hemos frecuentado restaurantes de alto standing, pero en el Antica Roma nos sentimos en uno. Con lo bueno y con lo malo. PD.: Esperamos que a los chicos que estaban de cita al lado les fuese bien al final!!!

I enjoyed the ambience of the restaurant, attentive service & a healthy, well presented salad, followed by tiramisu with a glass of sangria. As a result of this excellent meal, I returned to enjoy lunch there within the same week! Recommended for great food & good value for money.

We came to this restaurant as a large family and they said they could accommodate us but had to give the table back by 8.30pm. So we thought 1.5 hours is doable to eat. We waited a good 20 mins bef…

Localizado en un bien sitio, este restaurante es amplio y cómodo, limpio y agradablemente decorado. La comida nos pareció excelente. Esta reseña sería de 5 estrellas si no fuera porque los platos no salieron al mismo tiempo. Una pizza tardó 30 minutos y una pasta 40 minutos!!!! El tiempo de espera fue demasiado y ni siquiera estaban llenos. Apenas hubo disculpas y no pensar en un gesto de buena voluntad (que lo suelen hacer en cualquier sitio profesional) como un postre o una bebida. El personal que nos atendió era soberbio y más bien secos y groseros. Si les dan un poco de entrenamiento en atención al cliente y trabajan en una cocina más eficiente, este lugar sería fantástico.

Really good food! Sorry, second time I visited this restaurant I was not as impressed as last time. (Second time in 1 week). Easy to lower stars from 4 to 3. If you can't hold the quality longer than a week then it's impossible to get 4 stars.

If you want to enjoy an evening with your family, it is great because not too expensive and quite tasty. However, the quantities are not high and I guess the plates are too cheap to deserve a smile from the waiters. Quite disappointed by their indoor room as well (very cold and no solution offered).

We had a mixed experience during our recent visit. While some of the staff were friendly and professional, the overall atmosphere felt a bit rushed. The owner, especially in the evening, seemed rather stressed and did not give the impression of enjoying her work, which impacted the general mood. Unfortunately, we didn’t have the time to properly enjoy our aperitif, as the main course was served very quickly afterwards. Plates were cleared with little pause, and we were asked to order dessert immediately. A bit more time and space between courses would have allowed for a more relaxed experience — we might have even ordered another glass of wine. Instead, we ended up finishing our aperitif alongside the dessert. The food was of decent quality, but not exceptional. A few years ago, it was noticeably better, so this was a slight disappointment. Overall, it’s an average experience — nothing particularly bad, but also not memorable.

We had dinner here tonight. We have eaten in wonderful Italian restaurants, this is not even close. The first turn off was pictured menu, it does not have a good seasonal menu. It felt like a kid's place, pizza and fair pasta dishes. This place is like a tourist trap. We will not return!!!

Absolutely terrible we waited nearly 2 hours for 2 pizzas, was told it would be delivered in 40 to 50 minutes. We called at 20:33 and called them 10 times to find out where our food was, they said…

LUGAR PARA NO VOLVER! mi pizza quemada, la de mi sobrina nos tocó mandarla a cocinar un poco más… de llegada las limonadas tardaron casi media hora en llegar a la mesa y las pizzas mucho más. Lo único bueno un chica Colombiana de mesera.

La comida riquísima. Pero pese a tener reserva, la chica que gestiona las mesas en la entrada fue muy desagradable haciendo gestos cuando le preguntábamos las cosas. Se daba la vuelta y se pensaba que no la estábamos viendo. El servicio muy lento. Tuvimos que reclamar la comida dos veces y tardaron más de una hora en servirla. Cuando la sirvieron se les olvidó otro plato y pasaron más de diez minutos después. La cocina tiene poca capacidad para la gran cantidad de mesas que hay en el restaurante. Los camareros en general bien, pero la tardanza en servir y la chica de la entrada nos estropearon la noche. No lo recomiendo para nada pese a que la comida está muy bien.

Pésimo servicio. Una hora esperando y habiendo atendido y servido a mesas que han llegado posterior a nosotros. La chica, muy antipática, sin ganas de trabajar y durante todo el servicio ha estado masticando chicle con la boca abierta. Ha venido a disculparse se ha notado que la han forzado a hacerlo. Después de reclamar nos han servido enseguida. La comida muy buena, pero por la pésima atención no volveremos. No le doy un cero porque no se puede.

A terrible experience we usually go at least twice when we are in calpe and always recommended it to Anybody staying in our appartment.. however on Thursday myself my wife and daughter visited … the pizza was at best mediocre and when we pointed this out the staff they became were very rude and obnoxious it was absolutely disgraceful what was said to us … stay away …there are lots of good places to eat in calpe this is not one of them

Terrible experience at this restaurant. Our waitress was very nice but she is obviously bullied by the other staff , who wore horrendous. We ordered 4 dishes , 2 of which were delicious. But the 2 pizza we got were not acceptable . No sauce or cheese . When we asked for more cheese we were asked to leave !!! We had asked for tap water and 5.40 euro for a litre was included in bill !! Along with the over priced wine 24.95 euro per bottle . Not what’s expected for Spain .

This is not an Italian food. This is Spanish nightmare of Italian food. Disgusting. The pasta with salsa tastes as if it was made of Knorr powder soup. Stay away from the 4 formaggi salads - 4 cheeses mixed with sweet dressing. Gosh!!!
