This was a fantastic dining experience. Usually when I go out for a cheesesteak I order one with extra cheese and meat. Most places give you all roll and the sandwich ends up being kind of blah. When I ordered my cheesesteak at New Jersey's I ordered it as is and when with mushrooms, onions and peppers. Oh the gloriousness that came out in a basket! I wish I had taken a picture. It was a mammoth cheesesteak cooked to perfection with a side of fries and an awesome homemade ranch sauce for dipping. The atmosphere was great as well. There were multiple TVs with different sports on each one and Frank Sinatra was playing in the background; everyone in the place sang along to the most familiar tunes. Great service and experience all around. I will definitely be back for more!

There will always be a special place in my heart for Jersey's, as I have been coming here since I was a tyke @ the "OLD" Jersey's on Winchester & Latimer. If you lived here in the 90's, you know Jersey's was truly a Campbell staple. The New Jersey's, although it be down Hamilton Ave a little ways (across from Safeway), is still in Campbell and the food is just as delish! I always get the Hot Cherry Pepper cheesesteak with mushrooms. Super spicy though, I have them go light on the peppers. 🤤 Bar tenders will always make you feel welcome, the regulars are legendary, and the owner makes you feel like family. Everything you need in a neighborhood bar. Best place to watch the games. EVER. Josue is the best bartender, charming and hilarious, always a great time. Soleil is amazing as well, super sweet and always has a smile on her face. I miss Ashley but if you're lucky sometimes you can run into her on OUR side of the bar so you still have the opportunity to buy her a shot or two 😜 Did I mention I love this place?

It's a little less fancy, like home. And the people are the best. Try the Pastrami sandwich next time you are in.

Best Philly cheese steak I have had the pleasure of eating. Great people working here with a family friendly environment. I always come here when visiting from Arizona. Order the combo cheese steak with extra cheese.

The "Bad Daddy", cheesesteak is tops if you are a fan of traditional American cheesesteak hoagies. My girlfriend really enjoys the steak salad and I agree after sharing it with her. Great place, fast and accommodating service. 5 stars, with honors!

Been going here for 16 years. Going to miss this place after i move. Despite the location changes it still remains my favorite spot for cheesesteaks. And I've been to philly, in the place that claims to have invented the CHEEZ WHIZ steak. That description says enough about Phillys claim to fame. Cheese steaks in Philly taste like someone already ate it. And I've heard people favor Otto's over Jerseys. They're out of their fricken minds. Of course anyone who says Otto's is better, likely picked taco bell as their favorite tacqueria...

This is a really small bar and grill. You order your food and beverages at the counter. Not a place with frills, but I think it's a nice hangout for the regulars, and anyone else seeking a very casual environment. The original cheesecake sandwich was good. I also like the 1/2 Fries and Onion rings option. Will come again!

New Jersey's is the absolute best bar in the area! My husband and I are Philadelphia Eagles fans and were in the area for work and trying to find a good place to watch the game. I saw some reviews online indicating it was a good place to go so we decided to check it out. Hands down, best place we have ever been to to watch a Philly game. The staff was so friendly and the atmosphere was absolutely incredible -- almost everyone in there was an Eagles fan; it felt like we were watching a game in Philadelphia! We're planning another trip during football season just so we can come back! Thank you for the memories New Jersey's, we'll be back for sure!!!

I think I love this place. I've only been here once, but I've been wanting to go back ever since. The atmosphere was friendly, the server was hilarious, and the food was great. It IS a tiny spot with very limited parking. We didn't notice it existed the first few years that we lived here, even though it's just across the street from our Safeway. I'm not even actually sure how we wound up finding it in the end, but I'm glad we did.

I just happened to be nearby and seen the name of the place and I had to try it(I’m from NJ) and I wasn’t disappointed in the slightest. The BEST cheesesteak I’ve had since I moved over to the west coast. The service is excellent also. My new favorite place to eat.

The name might be New Jerseys, but this is the ORIGINAL JERSEYS that used to be off of Winchester back in the day. I got my favorite cheese steak the Bad daddy with yummy BBQ sauce onions and cheese and it taste the same as it did 15 years ago in the original spot. It's a family atmosphere when you walk in your greeted like your part of and Italian family. The people are nice, the good is amazing. Please support this business and let's keep them around a while longer! Love you "new" jerseys!!

These are still the best authentic Philly cheesesteaks in the Bay Area. The regular steak is delicious, but my favorite is the hot cherry pepper steak. If you like cheesesteaks and you like the heat, this sandwich is for you! Their fries are excellent, always cooked perfectly, and they have a great selection of beers on tap. I have been going to Jersey's at their various locations since 1980, and am a huge fan.

A very highly quality, yummy and flavorful cheese steak at a very reasonable price and generous portion. I believe both people working there now are the owners and they are extremely sweet and friendly. A must go cozy and comfy restaurant.

Fridays is a great day to come. It’s really just a little dive bar. But let me tell you it packs a punch on Fridays. The lady behind the bar on Fridays makes the best margarita ever.

They are the best ever, we take to go all the time cause by the time we get back to work the seasonings and cheese all blend together for a mouth watering cheese steak sandwich. I only wish they would go on Uber eats or door dash so we can experience the cheese steak more often!

Been going here since I was a very small child, 23 years after starting to go here it still stands strong. The staff hasn't changed in years and it really is a family kind of bar and grill. Try to jalapeno burger, its amazing.

Best cheesesteaks in town by far. They cut the meat very fine so there is no big pieces to try and gnaw on (I hope you read that Amatos). The ambiance is comfortable and friendly. Make sure you try the mushroom cheesesteak and a Lagunitas IPA. Also they have a loyalty card which gets you a free sandwich after 8.

Im just a guy who has been coming here forever, (20+yrs) occasionally, and always anticipating one of my all time favorite things in life... the CheeseSteak sandwiches here are one of my reasons to enjoy my visits to the Bay Area. There are other delicious things on the menu but for decades, THE CHEESESTEAK calls me from far away. The owner and crew always make me feel welcome. The bar is simple but adequate, plenty of seating inside n out. Never been here for any events but there are screens n sports n... but the Cheesesteak. Better than a high end New York Strip to me.

When it’s busy parking can be a problem but just be patient. It’s designed as a sports bar and can be loud inside. When it’s lunchtime plenty of room inside and out with easy parking. I’ve been coming to jerseys for 30 years when it was first on Winchester and later moved to its current location. I love the sub & fries. You will be glad that you went.

I brought the family to check this place out. The food is pretty good, I had the cheesesteak sandwich, the family had a corn dog, double burger, garlic fries, onion rings, and a few other things. The staff was very friendly and the food was reasonably priced. Keep in mind this is all bar food, so don't come here expecting caviar.I will be coming back though.

Great place for football Sundays. I was looking for a fun spot to watch my Packers since I don't have cable. This place has great food and cheap drinks. They have plenty of TVs and always have every game on. Every NFL touchdown (any team) and you can buy $2 shots or $2 beers! They're known for their cheese steaks and I have to say they're pretty tasty!

This place makes awesome cheese-steaks - a Campbell highlight for sure. The crowd is definitely local and the lunch specials are great, albeit very heavy. Don't expect to eat here and stay awake at the office is basically what I'm saying. 4 stars!

West Coast home of the Philadelphia Eagles professional football team. Cozy restaurant and neighborhood bar. Serves hamburgers and cheesesteaks cooked to order, various luncheon salads, and a plate of ribs you won't be able to finish, not to mention the usual sandwiches, and pizza burger, and the daily jalapeno soup. A good selection of beers on tap and other alcohol for mixed drinks. And a tv screen on every wall and even in the corners. The choice of breads and buns for sandwiches is limited and off-street parking is limited; these are the only reasons not to give a full 5-star rating. Stop in soon, and treat yourself to good food and drink at reasonable prices, and a chat with the ever-friendly staff

Love this place which is close enough to crawl home from if I really had to. Good American food, steak and a baked potato etc. Friendly bartenders, especially Michelle and staff. Excellent, well stocked bar at reasonable prices. I don't come here a lot but when I do I always like the joint.

They have a small selection of beers on tap and a few bottles to choose from. You order your food and drinks at the bar and they bring everything to your table. Service was prompt and efficient but could have been a little friendlier. New Jersey’s Restaurant is a genuine classic and seems to be a popular neighborhood hangout. I won’t make a special trip, but if I’m in the area I might go back for lunch.

First time here. Trivia night was pretty fun. Staff was quite attentive and owner was right out there helping. Food though was... eh. Maybe it was due to the rush of orders for the event; but the phillies at work are better. Will probably give them another try.

The dining room and bar are very worn. The cook did not know our order was in and didn't start cooking it until we asked about our food and why was it taking so long at 3 in the afternoon when no one's there. The turkey club sandwich was just a couple pieces of bread with very little filling, not the double decker triple slices of bread that is typical.

This has been my go-to sports bar/pub for years. They do cheesesteaks, burgers, hot wings (my personal fav) and other tasty bar food. They also have a full bar and serve great adult beverages.

Everyone I've heard from says this is the best place for cheese steaks. In my opinion, it was ok. The waitress was nice, but not a very memorable place

South Jersey Sports fan's bar restaurant

I will give this place three stars because it did have good service with a friendly staff. But you can't exactly call yourself a New Jersey Restaurant and have a bunch of boring Philly cheese steaks on the menu. If you're going to call yourself New Jersey's you should probably have something from New Jersey on the menu like pork roll or many other culinary staples of NJ. And if you haven't heard of pork roll then you should probably change the name of your restaurant probably to Philly's. being born and raised in New Jersey I was very excited to see a little slice of home all the way out in the west coast but upon going in there and seeing the menu and eating there I felt further from home than ever before. seriously consider changing the name of your restaurant. if you are going to name your entire restaurant after a state then you should probably be authentic about it.

Seems like I am not quite as excited as other reviewers. Not saying it's bad just that it is nothing special all around: food, service, décor, parking, and pricing. This is not one of my top picks in my area but, I have no problem going if someone else makes the suggestion. The food reminds me of bowling alley food: not fresh, cooked from frozen. I could be wrong but that's how it tastes to me.

Lightly disguised BAR & grill. Food is edible, though not fantastic. Service is one bartender and a cook.... capable. Nothing homey or cozy about the place, and nothing was actually horrible, but I can think of 20 other places I'd rather get a bite and a beer.

I have loved this place more than any place ever. I've been getting cheesecake sammys from Jerseys for 25 years now. From Winchester to downtown San Jo to Hamilton. I don't care where they go as long as they don't go away. So my friends took me for my birthday today, I was so excited and looked forward to the mouth-watering , soft bread filled with tender bits of steak smothered with melted cheese and mushrooms...best on earth! HOWEVER today I was embarrassed and disappointed. God, I hope this was a one time issue. It tasted nothing like the Jerseys I know n love. The sandwich was on a roll that was hard and dry and was more like a hot dog bun. The cheese was still a square straight out of the fridge. Not melted. I ate a few bites of the middle , none of the bread and left it. I hope it's not a new chef or a new way of cutting corners. It was awful. Please please please go back to the original Jerseys. I will not go back or recommend it anymore if this is a new recipe.

Lightly disguised BAR & grill. Food is edible, though not fantastic. Service is one bartender and a cook.... capable. Nothing homey or cozy about the place, and nothing was actually horrible, but I can think of 20 other places I'd rather get a bite and a beer.

I have loved this place more than any place ever. I've been getting cheesecake sammys from Jerseys for 25 years now. From Winchester to downtown San Jo to Hamilton. I don't care where they go as long as they don't go away. So my friends took me for my birthday today, I was so excited and looked forward to the mouth-watering , soft bread filled with tender bits of steak smothered with melted cheese and mushrooms...best on earth! Chesessteaks were not good. No seasoing on meat too much cheese. We ordered it hoggie style. It looked more like a tri-tip sandwich with lots of shredded lettuce. The burger was actually really good. And the fries were a true perfection. But did need lots of salt.

Ordered extra cheese, got no cheese, no mushrooms. For wife ordered toasted Club. 1 and 1/2 thin slices of turkey. Took for ever and they were not even busy!

Where do I begin. My husband and I came in from out of town. It was getting late for dinner so we saw this place was open until 10:00pm PERFECT, so we thought. We go inside at about 8:15pm and we had no clue if we had to seat ourselves or wait to be sat. After about 30 seconds we had to ask the bartender who said "you can sit in my booth I just need to clean it off". We sat in that booth and waited 10 MINUTES until I had to waive for the server. During that 10 minutes the man who was on the mic (it was trivia night) said "kitchen closing in 15 minutes" which made us confused because it obviously stated the hours are until 10:00pm!!! And it wasn't even 9 The only reason we went there was because it was open late and we wouldn't feel rushed. Instead we felt incredibly rushed. After we ordered and got our food (which was delicious and the only reason I give it 2 stars) we didn't see our server the rest of our time there. My husband wanted ranch with his onion rings and because we didn't see our server he had to get up and ask the bartender for ranch. She said "NO, WE PUT IT AWAY ALREADY, WE CAN'T GIVE YOU ANY". What in the world!!! How difficult would it have been to go grab him a little cup of ranch so he could enjoy his meal like he wants to. I'm a manager at a restaurant myself which is why I probably have a higher standard than what this place provided. Again food was good, but you can go anywhere and get a cheese steak with fries, onion rings and potato skins. It's the service that sets them apart in a good or bad way. This service was Bad!

Ordered basic cheesesteak soda & fries. The soda tasted gross. Their soda system must be from the 90s, eww. Cheesesteak 'meat' was little gravel sized bits with greasy onions that weren't cooked/caramelized before mixing. Whatever, it was gross. Fries were good. Seemed to be a great place to have beers and watch the games though. I don't drink so...

Go there and eat it there and maybe you won't have the horrible experience that I just had! I ordered a cheesesteak with sauteed mushrooms and had it delivered by door dash It was a disgusting mess the bun was so soggy that I couldn't even pick up the sandwich. I had to go get a plate and use a knife and fork to eat it. I wound feeding a lot of it to my dog. All in all it was a bad experience I expected to get a cheesesteak sandwich, not a sloppy wet mess I will never order from this place again

Disgusting. Dirty old and falling apart. I asked for a lime for my beer and the lady reaches in bare hand grabs a lime and throws it in my beer. This place has never heard of the word sanitary
