It was our last dinner for this trip in Italy and we couldn’t ask for a better experience than this. Everything was amazing, the owner is truly wonderful person and the food was delicious. Highly recommended!

We were made to feel very welcome from the moment we arrived, despite not having any Italian. One of the owners speaks good English and was delighted to find us a table. Service was excellent and they were keen to ensure we properly understood the menu. The food was excellent, great quality and quantity without being too pretentious. The lamb cutlets are a must and when paired with the local Barbera, they are just heaven. Highly recommended restaurant, next time we will go for lunch to enjoy the beautiful views across the hills.

An elegant restaurant, attentive and friendly service, and a good wine selection. The food quality, in our experience, was good, with special mention for the duck-filled tortelli and the guinea fowl stuffed with cabbage. One of the few (if not the only) places in the province where you can taste Giovanna (a typical Piacenza cured meat). Overall, a very pleasant experience. The rating, which isn't top-notch, reflects the somewhat uneconomical prices.

I recommend the tempura cod as an appetizer, the braised ravioli, and the beef cheek. Don't miss the apple tarte tatin: amazing! The prices are high for the quantity offered. Still, a good culinary experience.

I'd been to this restaurant years ago, stumbled upon it by chance while wandering the Oltrepó. I decided to return a few days ago because I had fond memories of it. The restaurant is cute and well-kept, with a lovely terrace and a good atmosphere. The quality I'd perceived the first time has certainly diminished; the dishes are a bit bland, just average, and neither good nor bad. Aside from that, the dessert significantly raises the rating. Overall, the quality/price ratio is a bit high. Good selection of wines and good service. It's a shame the oil expired over a week ago; a little extra care never hurts.
