The culinary highlight is the tartare. It is the best tartare I have ever eaten! Is this the best in the world? I think so. This restaurant is slightly different from the average Italian restaurant. You get food which is more suited for bubbling than dinner. Don't let that discourage you. You get top quality food here.

Amazing quaint and small bar. We discovered this place 5 years ago and return every time we're in the area. We have never had bad service, and the food is to die for. Small plates of the finest cured meats and salami and cheese. Wine menu is very good to. The place has diversified its menu slightly now so Aperol Spritz and other Aperitifs are Avila me.

We used to come here often to enjoy the cozy atmosphere, the artisanal beer selection and their high quality meat and cheese cuts. The place recently stopped serving beer and expanded into offering fish, however I was shocked to see that we actually received a tiny CAN of anchovies - for €18 !!! We also had a cup of very bland "raw shrimp ceviche" for $24 - no lime, no onions, no coriander, no chili peppers. Just a bunch of mushy raw shrimp, downright awful. If this is not complacent then I don't know what complacency is. We will not return.

Suuuper slow service. 50 minutes wait between "dishes" that were so simple. Seats are uncomfortable. Small portions and expensive for what you get. The surrounding is nice. The idea of ​​slow food got out of hand, cause having people at the table for almost 1 hour without anything to eat, shows a luck of understanding.

Guessing family owned business that’s not in sync and do not understand orders very well? We ordered 2 starters and 2 mains of the same! Got 1 of each! Explained that we ordered two of each. They pardoned and still came out with one of each. We asked for olive oil and some salt for the bread and the woman questioned why we needed that. Really? The food was good and that’s it, but the the staff made it a truly disappointing evening. Would never set my foot here again!

Would not recommend to go there if you are a tourist. We were denied a table even though there were several free seats in the outside area. The service was very unfriendly and pretended not to understand us. So in the end we left.

Not a good experience: if you are not Italian, you don’t get a nice table and the attention of the service is close to 0. As the service lady finally brought the wine menu she was upset because I took some seconds for my decision, so she left our table without taking on our order.

BEWARE! Good food, nice atmosphere and friendly service. In addition to the waiter (a local student) i also met the owner. Both of them seemed trustworthy. So when I paid by credit card and they told me the payment didn't go through and I'd have to enter my PIN a second time i didn't think anything of it. They told me it didn't work on the second attempt either so I paid cash. A month later (at the time of this writing) i reveived my credit card bill and noticed that both payments had in fact gone through. So I ended up paying three times for one meal. I complained to the credit card company but they said they couldn't stop the payment and that it is up to the restaurant to be honest and refund me. So far I've not received anything from them, which leads me to believe it wasn't an accident but a dirty trick.
