We ordered multiple dishes and they were all delicious. Love the vibes inside. Service was quick and friendly. Only thing I didn’t like is there was no ice in my margarita but it was still yummy. Will definitely be back.

Had the street tacos and they were great! Double grilled corn tortillas and stuffed with well seasoned chicken and plenty of sides. Loved the green salsa verde!

The food is FRESH. Absolutely delicious, everyone working is awesome, and the atmosphere is fun, relaxed, and truly authentic. Bright spot on a cold, snowy day.

So many varieties of different kinds of meats, goat is one of my favorites. Definitely worth checking out.

The tacos were a 10/10. The service was also great. They were out of tortillas and they brought fresh ones out quickly.

Don't want to wait? Order ahead of time. This is our go-to Mexican spot for the past several years. Order ahead of time if you do not want to wait. Dining in, the music is pretty loud. So don't expect a quiet spot. The tables are clean, and the condiments on the tables are always filled. There is enough seating for a group of people, but don't expect them to have space for a group of 8+ people. Food: top notch tacos, burritos, quesadilla, fajitas, and much more. We've ordered here a few times, and they have made a mistake but are very minor. If you're doing takeout, and you're extremely picky on what's in your food I'd highly recommend checking your food. I'd recommend anything on their menu because they're all hits. Food and Service are excellent and the workers are friendly. Would recommend this or their food truck to anyone.

I came here for the first time 5 years ago when I arrived from Mexico and it is a place where you really feel the flavor of Mexican food, and they do everything possible to make you feel like an appreciated customer. The owner is very kind to me and my family, I always recommend it as an authentic Mexican restaurant

Absolutely amazing Mexican food! Such a hidden gem right in WBL! Amazing staff, quick service, and outstanding food. I would give this restaurant ten stars out of five if that was possible.

Small Mexican restaurant. Really good authentic Mexican food and great staffs. Plenty of parking space. Ordered the taco combo came with rice, bean, 3 taco, and drink for only ~14 really cheap compare to other places in twin cities. Also order large deep fried corn tortilla dish that was really good! Similar to machete but different breading. Definitely come check this place out amazing food!

A followup visit, this time was quite busy, Post-COVID. While there was no line at first, a continuous line started soon after and moved quickly. Our orders took a little longer this time, yet not that long, considering that they were custom built and baked, which takes longer than something just tossed into a tortilla and wrapped up. My order of a tamale was intentional, because I believe that if they make their own tamales and they are great, then the rest of their foods will also be great. It takes a significant time to make tamales along with loving care to make them great, a reflection of the care the restaurant gives all their foods. This tamale was great, along with everything in my order. A relatively new bar and grill that I've never been in before. Their COVID menu has a couple dozen traditional Mexican dishes and they have a couple of coolers with soft drinks, beer, and liqueurs. The food was very good, drinks and after-dinner liqueur very nice. Definitely worth regular visits.

We've eaten here a number of times now including take-out. The food is delicious but like many small, independent restaurants, there are sometimes inconsistencies that affect the overall experience. The Birrea Tacos and dipping broth lacked jalapeños tonight but since I didn't bring it up, Ill cut slack by considering they may have been out of that ingredient at the completion of a long holiday weekend. The tamale I had was the biggest ever served to me in a restaurant. The chips were fresh and the sauce was flavorful but not spicy. The Tres Leche cake 🎂 was simply delicious. Lastly, the adult beverage program is a fantastic value when considering most on-premise venues charge 400-600% mark-up. We received 2-four-ones on both Pacifico and shots of Jose Cuervo Familia Reserva Extra Anego. Awesome! Service was prompt, professional, and courtesy. I highly recommend this gem of place!

This is our go to spot for Mexican food. Food is always consistently great. Service is excellent. Menus are VERY easy to read when you get inside. When it is busy, it gets busy. So, expect a long lines when it's busy but it is totally worth the wait. Parking is extremely easy. Overall, an awesome place to eat and enjoy Mexican food.

Came here while I had a chance after work being that I'm from out of state (Florida) and WOW!! I Love tacos and this place helped keep that love. Excellent staff and the manager was super friendly. The food was delicious and very filling. Nice decor and clean restaurant. Affordable prices are always appreciated and that they had! If I'm around the area in the future, I will sure be stopping here for more.

This is a solid authentic experience - I've been here probably a dozen times and the food is decent, basic, but what brings it up a notch is their (I assume homemade) salsas. You coat anything in that lovely green salsa and it's so tasty! Service is average, frequently you have to yell to get someone's attention at the register. The menu is extensive also - a little choice anxiety for me!

Really good food ! I would’ve appreciated the queso being in a ceramic dish so it didn’t cool off so quickly . Also wish the tacos were served with rice and beans like at other local joints

Went for the Sunday buffet, food was decent, but minimal. Posole and tostadas were my favorite. Not worth $26/pp in my opinion. There was no cheese, cream, radish or cabbage for the posole/menudo. I would return to try their regular menu, the buffet opinions just weren't enough to justify the price. Customer service was friendly.

Drawn in because of buy 2 get 1 free street taco Tuesday. Discovered it changed to buy 3 get 1 free. Tried 4 different meats. Service was prompt and friendly. Reasonable time for food prep. Tacos were OK. On the high end $ for their size. Meats seemed on the dry side. Disappointed that I got only one container of a sauce and had no say in what it was. Experimenting with different heats and sauces are what I most enjoy about authentic Mexican restaurants. Also odd, beverage lids are kept behind the counter and you must request one. They do have a nice offering of alcohol beverages in spite of not having a typical bar. Okay place once, won't be back.

I have been a loyal customer to this business the past 5 years. After last night at 9:52 pm on Monday, November 3 it was the last straw for me. I walked in to buy a kids steak burrito meal to go. While I was waiting for my food, I saw the Latina woman cook grab the last few pieces of my steak off the grill with her BARE hand. She did not assemble my burrito with TWO GLOVES ON. I wanted to address it to the man in the blue jacket working behind the counter, but he seemed rushed to get me out and the restaurant was about to close in a few minutes. I also ordered a raspberry cheese cake but it was stale. I’m not sure how often the restaurant is rotating their desserts. After paying $14.26 for a mediocre meal that was stale and lacked seasoning, I’m very disappointed in the lack of hygiene the cook staff have. Just because a customer walks in to order shortly before closing, that doesn’t mean a cook should become lazy on upholding hygienic standards. We are in flu season. Due to this incident, I’m no longer supporting this business and will find another local Mexican restaurant to purchase food from who prioritizes cleanliness and not treat you as an inconvenience. If the owner reads this, PLEASE make it strict for your workers to wash their hands and wear both gloves to assemble food. It’s not right that your prices have increased, yet hygienic standards are not a priority. So to anyone reading this review, if you order to go from here DO IT IN PERSON to ensure no cooks are touching meat with their bare hands.

Went to lunch with my nieces their meals came out as ordered. I ordered a meal, but changed the shells from flour to hard shell. When I brought the meal back to the counter, the gentleman that took my order got incredibly snippy, telling me I should’ve ordered another meal. It does feel like if that his theory he should’ve told me that upfront. I probably will not go back not because of the mixup, but because of how I was talk to you.

It would be okay but this is oro by nixta (James Beard runner up) prices. Our birria tacos came out cold from the kitchen. I guess the microwave ain't working for 17$ birria. Mushy tasteless stuff. I was here in the spring and it was okay so gave it another shot. We are all sad we wandered over here and will not return. Save your hard earned money and go anywhere else. We had elote, beans and rice, a quesadilla on corn tortilla with steak And birria. Nothing was worth the time of day

Food is fantastic; service terrible. They messed up my order and after talking to them for 10 minutes in the phone they STILL couldn't even figure out which order was mine to give me a refund. I just hung up on them and got a refund via grubhub... do better, folks, do better. Says "No Onions" clearly on then receipt....yet...covered in onions. I had a brief window of time to grab lunch, you folks managed to mess up something with literally less than 5 ingredients and then not even be able to fix the order...good food though.

62 bucks for this food and 2 tamales not pictured (which were probably just chilling in the grease at the bottom of the bucket). Not worth, the food truck isn't much better either. Never again.
