Absolutely loved their breakfast burritos! My friends and I all got the Sausage Burrito and wow, aside from the size, the flavor was amazing! You definitely get what you pay for at this place! On top of that, costumer service was really good as well. We were received very good by the staff and the service to get the food out to us was very quick! I will say though, the price of the Orange Juice did seem a little high for me. But hey, that's optional. One thing is for sure, I definitely will stop by and grab me a breakfast burrito if I'm around this area again! Strongly recommend it.

Great burgers and food, oh my gosh and shakes like you will not believe, from a local shop owned by a great fellow who's still there, with his kids as well. These guys believe in burgers, and they make a wide variety of So-Cal specials, like the pastrami burger, a gyro's burger, breakfast burgers, and more along with great fries, zucchini, onion rings and real ice cream shakes in old school flavors. As I write this in 2021, Michael is also "thinking customers for his 40 years" by giving gift cards as a rebate on how much you spend per order. This guy loves what he does, he's proud of the food he serves you and he appreciates us for being there. This is The Valley.

Michael’s burger is the true example of how breakfast and lunch can be extra delicious for a low budget. Here’s pros and cons. Pros: - The food is really good and filling. The burgers are the obvious choice, but the other items are quite delicious as well including the teriyaki chicken - The prices is on point. Cheaper or similar to fast food prices with better quality. - Service is always quick and with quality. Cons - Some sauces cost extra Overall, Michael’s Burger is an easy 5 star restaurant with quality food , a huge menu of items, and prices that make you say “are you sure you have everything?”

Upd2. Burgers are still good but dont buy burritos - they are dry as hell. Thats why they give ketchup with that Upd. In my second time I got bacon double cheeseburger - and it was god like. Right amount of meat, juicy patty and amazing flavor This is my favorite burger spot atm This is my first time here. I went for Bacon Hamburger. Even tho the patty was thin the overall taste was amazing. And costs like $6 for burger. Totally worth it. Will come again for sure

We've come here several times. And it's always delicious. Recently we've been trying other places for burgers and chilli cheese fries and I was left disappointed, not here. I love grabbing a bit here. All of the workers there I've ever talked to there have been nothing but awesome.

I love this restaurant! This is a fantastic place for just about any time of the day whether it's for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Their breakfast menu has some really great selections with such an eclectic choice . You can have a breakfast burrito filled gyro meat or Hawaiian style Loco Moco. There's also the old favorites like hotcakes eggs and sausage. The burgers are outstanding and they also have healthier choices for anyone out there that has dietary restrictions. Like the breakfast menu, the lunch/dinner menu has a wide range of options from teriyaki plates to burritos etc. Best of all, the prices are extremely reasonable. You can take a family of four out to breakfast for under $30.00. This is one of my favorite places to grab a quick bite in the Valley.

For years I would go to Tommy's Burgers across street and I would see Michael's Burgers and never gave it a second thought. I decided to give Michael's Burgers a try. Wow! Michael's Burgers is a hidden gem. First glance from arriving, it looks run down. Don't let that deter you. I only tried the Cheeseburger & Breakfast Burrito. Yummy & Mouth watering. I found a new Mom & Pop (which is the best) place to eat.

This place has everything and it's all tasty. Usually stick with breakfast or a burger combo for brunch to beat the rush. Prices are extremely fair for the portions. Jack n the box is more expenive🤔. Park in the lot to the left of the building to make it easier to merge into traffic.

Loved it. I'm never in the area but second time at Michaels and I can arguably say it's one of the best if not the best burger spot in the greater Los Angeles area. Would go more often if I lived close to the valley.

Age Old Neighborhood Restaurant. In the old days they used to film Beverly Hills 90210 here. Parking in the back clean restaurant, friendly service. One of the few places here in the valley that serves Loco Moco. Only patio seating as of 10/04/2022.

Classic spot, can't go wrong with Michael's Burger. Only complaint would be the ranch costing extra and the COVID precautions should go away by now like the inside dining and the giant wall they set up for the cashier. Oh and the parking lot got fenced off and claimed by the Indian restaurant so parking is limited now too.

Recently moved to the area and was looking for a burger joint just like this one. They offer a great variety of burgers, sandwiches and burritos. I personally have only tried their double cheese burger, their spicy BBQ, and their Polish burger. Each one did not disappoint! I definitely recommend their onion rings as well!

One of the best burgers I've ever had is made here at family owned Michael's Burgers. It's called the Burger Club and is made like a traditional stacked Club Sandwich with three slices of white toast (it can also be made with whole wheat or sourdough toast) except with two all beef patties topped with melted American cheese instead of the standard ham and turkey cold cuts. The Burger Club also includes plenty of thick sliced bacon cooked crispy for a real taste sensation. Top it all off with slices of ripe red tomatoes, fresh iceberg lettuce, and the perfect amount of thin sliced red onion and real mayonnaise for what I'm sure will be one of the best burgers you've ever had. You can still find Michael, the owner of Michael's Burgers, working along side his employees at the grill for pride of ownership that translates into quality eats. And if that isn't enough, the price tag for all that quality is more than reasonable. For the Burger Club, served on a platter with a generous helping of some of the best fries out there and as many yellow pickled peppers as you can eat, it will set you back less than $8.00 including tax! Much cheaper than the less generous combos served at more well known corporate burger joints. Too bad for the rest of the Country that this one is a local gem.

Sorry for the delay in my review. Came here as another breakfast option. Right when you walk in, you see the prices on the board are reasonable. All it was left to now, was if they would make it how I liked as I have a sensitive stomach and am a picky Supertaster. I gave them my instructions on how I wanted my meal and they listened to a T. I was impressed. The food was delicious. Eggs were fluffy and hash tasted like they were made at home. Because of Covid, couldn't dine-in. Would've loved that experience, but that can not be helped. I'll be back for more as I'd love a good healthy breakfast from them again and am also curious about their other meals. Thank you guys =} -------- UPDATE: Came here again shortly after leaving my last review. Got an order to-go. We were in a rush, which I let the cashier know. Asked how long it would be and they stuck to the estimated time, if not faster. We were in and out so fast, it was perfect given the time crunch we were in. They made the stress of that so much nicer than it could've been. Comments on the burger compared to In n Out down the street, were that it tasted fresher and healthier. Less greasy. And the fries were big and hot. There's no way we would've made the time crunch with the wait there. The price for Michael's burger is double but it was tastier and convenient. So win win. This West Valley staple has been serving up delicious burgers for over 30 years. Currently doing take out orders and delivery, no dine in unfortunately. I've tried most of the menu over the years and can confidently tell you, everything they make there is great. This time around I got bacon cheeseburgers, and a patty melt. The patties were well seasoned and perfectly cooked. Bacon was crispy and delicious as always. Buns and the Rye bread for the melt were fresh and nicely toasted on the flat top. The veggies were fresh and crisp. Next time you're in the mood for great food from a family owned business, give Michael's a go, your taste buds will thank you.

I've been passing by this place for years and finally decided to stop in and check it out. We've been fans ever since. Great place for a good burger in the West Valley. Their burger combinations are almost as vast as their entire menu. Anything from salads to steaks. I don't know if it's my timing or the owner's passion but he's always there behind the counter when we go. Staff is fast and friendly. I didn't want to write this because the place is always busy when I'm there but they're on Grubhub now so I don't have to worry about lines.

Great customer service and their food is always so damn good. If you like chili and fries their chili cheese fries are the perfect amount of cheesiness and taste amazing. Classic American fares that you truly can't go wrong with. The menu is fairly big but it's because there are a bunch of varieties of the same thing, like a burger can have a bunch of different toppings. Their breakfast burritos are pretty top notch. They its well balanced between eggs, potatoes and whatever filling you get. But their salsa that it comes with is what takes the cake. Pile it on if you love spice, or add a dash if you can't really handle it. Either way, it's a really good red salsa that's compliments the burrito amazingly.

Fun place with so much on the menu. It is great to see a small local business thrive. The owner continues to make changes and improve this joint and the patrons respond. We need to try other menu items but so far the fried zucchini and mushrooms are so good!

This place is Great! Try not to miss it, on right hand side, heading S on Topanga Ave. I just went to eat at Michael's yesterday, and it's been awhile, but the food is GREAT! One thing I did notice, the pastrami sandwiches have gotten smaller, but they're so GOOD I might go over today, just to get a pastrami sandwich!

Great little mom and pop burger place that's been around forever. If you haven't tried it yet, then you aren't a fan of a great burger. My suggestion is the Pastrami burger, with the Gyro burger a close second. Of course, you can't go wrong with just a classic cheeseburger. This place was suggested by Google maps and I'm totally glad I went!!! I've probably driven by a thousand times but never really noticed the place. Well, that all changed today!!! Walked in and the place is a lil dated but it was clean and tidy. Cool TVs for menus. BUT, I was totally surprised to see a couple things in the mini look the Hawaiian Loco Moco!!!!! And Gyros, smoothies and pressed juice! I wanted a burger so I got a chili cheese bacon burger and man was it good! Fries were good to. Michael is still the owner of this place after almost 40 years. He is kept the quality very well. It's one place I will say is almost as good as it used to be definitely worth stopping by if you're in the area. Thank you Michael for all your great years and great food!

I've been coming here for years but I've always bought pretty much the same thing because I always went with a craving for something specific, not to be adventurous. Depending on the time of day, the service can vary but overall, I have had a good experience. So why have I taken this long to even write a review? I went for a visit today and I suddenly felt adventurous so I ordered something I've never ordered before: The Spicy Teriyaki Chicken sandwich. *******WARNING, this is actually F$%&'in Spicy******** I ordered it thinking "it's probably going to be the spice level that you'll see at other burger joints like Red Robin or Islands, etc. which is pretty much spice-non-existent. NOPE! First bite, Woah, nice, it has a bit of a kick. Second Bite, Oh man, it's starting to flame in my mouth. Third bite, Why am I sweating profusely and how come my mouth feel numb but still burns at the same time? Apparently, customers are generally warned about the spice but because I ordered with such confidence, The guy at the register thought I already knew what I was getting into. He of course said it's too hot for him and he can't eat it. He then went on to say there are many who claim they are good with spice and return it after realizing how spicy it is. This was after I had finished my sandwich. When I asked if this is some store bought sauce, the response I got was "[nope], the boss makes it himself". I'm assuming he is using some kind of pepper extract to make this because it's one of those spices where it's just there to f*ck with you. The type of spice that when you burp and you burp up some of the stuff you ate, the spice comes along and burns your throat afterwards and if it doesn't do that, it'll probably tear your stomach up during digestion and burn yourself a new butt hole. I may be over exaggerating the spice a bit seeing how I ate this not expecting it to be this spicy so it may have elevated my perception of spice. Was it good? Hard to tell because the spice was overpowering. Would I order Spicy Teriyaki ________ again? probably not. But this place still has other awesome stuff on the menu so I'll continue to come here. I just wanted to take the time to warn anyone who decides to eat here that the spicy food may not be what you might want to order. It sure caught me off guard. I would probably guess that it would easily fall in the 400,000 - 500,000 scoville units if not more. Another way of putting it: if you like to go to Thai restaurants, some places will have normal (or American) spice levels of mild, med, hot and then they will have Thai spice levels which the mild is equivalent to normal hot. This sauce would fall in between the Thai spice Med to Hot range. Anyway, you have been warned.

I can definitely say that I had a great experience at Michael's burger The guy that works is very nice I believe he's the owner Michael himself The quality of food is pretty good as well like a good decent mom pop burger shop it's a bit of a different experience that you can really appreciate I will say if you're in the area it's worth stopping by if you want that mom and pop experience you definitely won't regret it

Very good breakfast burrito, its the only thing i have had the pleasure of eating. But it was great. I will need to try other stuff... but for now the burrito is ths only.thing i can talk about and it was great The place is clean,staff is.friendly and over all the location is convenient

It's my local burger joint, the area is nice, they have a patio so you can decide to eat inside or outside. I usually order the double cheeseburger / chili cheese fries (I highly recommend) and the drink that comes with. I take all my friends here and they end up becoming regulars as well. The owner is laid back and helpful. Their bathroom can definitely be improved but not a big issue. They got a huge TV towards the back, usually streaming sports. Parking can be difficult to find on a busy day or rush hours.

I came here after hearing how great their breakfast burritos were. I ordered the Sausage Breakfast Burrito which was only $4.50. Now I like my burritos grilled so the tortilla is a little crispy. I asked the guy at the counter and he flat out said no. Oh well. The burrito was huge and very tasty. The salsa was really good but they give you small amount - not enough for the burrito. I saw on Yelp that this place nickle and dimes you on everything so I didn't ask for more. But overall the burrito was tasty.

I've always been a fan of local burger shops vs chain brands. The burgers are very good as well as the fries. There is quite a large variety of options to choose from both I'm regards to burgers and other options. The only con and it's not a big one but there are no fountain drinks. Only cans of soda.

Family run business since 1981. The menu is a little bit of everything. From hamburgers and polish sausage to steamed rice. Is very moderately priced with better taste and value than a fast food place like McDonald's.

The thousand island dressing was good, I liked the diced pickles and the service was friendly but those are the only complaints I can give. The bun was verging on stale, the tomatoes were turning white and the patty was average. For the price I can’t knock it too much.

Typical burger shack, kind of run down and would look more like a LA place rather than a West Valley establishment. I remember years ago when it was a Whataburger. That place was superior to this place. But times have changed and if the 3 similar places across the street are to busy then this place would be okay.

Don't get me wrong the food is great, cooks do a good job. On the other hand the service is the worst ever since they hired new ones. You'll have to wait at least 30 min, because the cashier doesn't pay attention to the customers orders.

Fries were unseasoned. The chili burger I got was average. no seating indoors. Outdoor seating available. Pricing was alright.

I have always loved Michael's Burgers. It's a great family restaurant normally. I tried to order on their online site but it won't let me put my address in so I defaulted to doordash. It's pretty hard to screw up a doordash order unless you can't or don't read the request. I ordered what we always do. Mushrooms, a burger, CHEF salad and a chicken sandwich. Sadly I received an EGG salad. Can I just say ewe ewe ewe. I received a MUSHROOM burger with literally 3 mushrooms on it. So dissapointed. I always got my order done right until now. Normally I don't complain but REALLY? How can you mess up a chef salad? Oh that's right. Make it an egg salad. Gross

I had better Burgers and burritos and fry's. And the can drinks!?? Sitting outside was not the best with it all uneven leaning towards the street. Our family wanted to try it out and hearing about it on ESPN on the rodeo "That's so good" "have to try it" Well there way way better places for a good char Burger spot.

Food is good. Would get a 5* if not for lousy customer service. Ordered take out 2 days In a row, couldn't get the order right neither time:( The guy who takes order acts like he is too busy to deal with customers. You will most likely get what you ordered.... but if you have any special requests like ranch on side or extra mayo. You can forget about it. I asked for extra mayo and recieved No Mayo. Yesterday asked for ranch for my fries....Surprise surprise no ranch! This has pretty much become the norm for most all fast food places and even some regular restaurants I've discovered since COVID-19. Is it really so wrong of me to want my food, that I am paying for, to be the way I like it? Do you think If we all just slow down frequenting or just not patronize these local establishments they would ensure better customer service??

Been going here for decades. Occasional problems but keep coming back. Today my tuna melt was so small I was shocked. Hefty price but it looked like the two pieces next to the crust of Italian bread Disappointed

Worst service and accountability from the OWNER. Ordered a burger meal and “fresh squeezed orange juice” Upon getting to work and tasting the orange juice, it was extremely acidic and instantly knew the oranges weren’t rotten from the taste. I go back to make owner aware and instantly he just waves me off and says “it’s ok I’ll give u back your money” I asked, “I would like to know the date of freshness for this orange juice because it’s not labeled anywhere” He then told me he didn’t know and just arrived in the morning. I told him that was very concerning because I need to know if I need to go to hospital for drinking this, and also pointed out he had at least 5-6 more of these prepackaged unmarked orange juice. He again waves me off and turns his back to me and proceeds to ignore me. I sat there for 10 mins while calling dept of health and watch him accept money, grab stuff off the ground, and STILL proceed to make a burger with no gloves and touching the meat and bacon and buns 🤮 I’ve never been so frustrated with complete lack of accountability and taking any responsibility. I filed a complaint with the city health department and pray it gets addressed. Should lose his business license being that irresponsible. Eat here at your own risk!!

Ordered the polish Sausage and egg breakfast and was only given half of a sausage Link. I've been going to michael's for more than 35yrs. Can't believe that they did this,seeing that I also worked here when I was 18yrs.old and know the owner. I'll be taking my business to "Daglas" on vanowen east of Winnetka.

Worst pastrami sandwich ever. Too small, dry, and burnt! They were not able to add some chilies at my request, why? LAZY! they only had another guy on a table so it's not like they were busy. That should have been my sign to run away. NO STARS HERE!

I have been getting food from this place for so long, there food is good but first the cashier that took my order is Very rude and condescending, and What really made me not want to come again to this restaurante, why would they charge a dollar for extra ketchup, are you serious. Omg I get that We aré going thru hard times but really charging for ketchup. Wow

The manager and the owner is a same guy who doesn’t know anything about customer service and his attitude is bossy. I don’t really know how he runs the business when he doesn’t know his job and duty. For example, making foods and soda drinks is their job and that’s not a duty for drivers for delivery. He said, “it is what it is” and then tried to mocking me! After that I said I’ll Write a review about your behavior and he said, “ok feel free and go for it!” Please, do not support this kind of businesses.

First I recommend checking your order before leaving. I ordered 2 ch’esse burger and an order of onions rings and an order of zucchini and got 2 bags of GREASY ONIONS RINGS. No zucchini!! The burger patty were as thin as paper !! Michaels use to have quality food but I just spent $25 on grease!!! The patties remained me of Mc Donald’s quality which doesn’t say much. I call to let them know about my order being wrong and they asked if I’d like to come back. I thanked them anyway but tomorrow I will go and get my change for the difference. I’m very disappointed with Michaels food. Anyone knows of a good burger/ with quality ingredients??????

I haven’t been here in about a year or more but it is definitely different. We ordered and the taste is not the same. We called in an order for pick up for two burgers, both of them were cold, fried were cold and stale. Definitely not the quality I remember, disappointing.

Always closed early due to "personal matters" worst burger establishment in the valley. I really have no idea how these people stay open. The rare occasion you catch them when they actually say they are, food comes out sloppy and rushed. Mid food at best, don't waste your time.

Ha where do I begin? The way I was treated by THE OWNER!?! was unacceptable and caused me to cry on my way home. I was first ignored when I walked into the establishment and when I asked when my order would be done he gave no response then proceeded to assist another customer! I continued to ask if they could give me a time estimate as the order should've been done 10 minutes prior. After he assisted the OTHER CUSTOMER!!He WAS EXTREMELY RUDE AND INCONSIDERATE so much I had to ask for the owner and to my surprised HE WAS THE OWNER! What kind of example are you setting for your employees when you yell at a customer for no reason and ignore them? I WILL NEVER EAT HERE EVER! and I will make sure they get less business because discrimination is not it. I would've given negative stars for there being hair in my food every other order I've made 😒

Worst customer service ever. There’s no chairs inside to sit down, all the chairs were outside in the hot sun in the middle of summer. I tried to sit inside but I was told not to. And when I asked why I can’t sit inside and bring the chair, a male Asian man was rude and told me in a very disrespectful voice that he didn’t want no chairs inside. I want this place to be reported and shut down for lack of Customer Service!!!!!

Unbelievable order charged me .. 3x for a burger . This is unacceptable. I can't belive this the owner or whatever he was asian dude straight up charges me while I say no no stop 😤... worst experience being humiliated and taken advantage of. This is not fair. . Please don't waste your time coming to this location . I feel it has fraudulent activity and the customer experience is unacceptable . I have been coming here for a long time. Average food.. 1/10
