A large cloister in Carmagnola, just off the road to Carignano, is run by a helpful and very kind lady, who manages the bar and small restaurant with organizational skills. The establishment is located in a large and convenient parking lot, where in the summer they sell watermelons, fruit, and vegetables at excellent prices. I recommend it for the variety of services offered.

The coffee is a little pricey at 2 euros, but otherwise it's good. You can park right next door and enjoy a small fruit and vegetable stand nearby.

The staff was very friendly and made an effort to speak English. It was a shame, though, that the cappuccino was €2.50 (excluding service charges) instead of the usual €1.50.

Clean place, courteous owner and very kind staff… but don't get the porchetta sandwich, the sandwich is excellent but it's expensive… 9 euros for a panini seems really excessive to me…

A bar overlooking a busy road, we only stopped for a quick sandwich on the way back up the hill. Bread with tomato and tuna (I'd asked for mayonnaise, but the helpful lady forgot to add it), 1/2 bottle of sparkling water, and a lemonade: €16.50! Avoid.

The coffee tastes like dirty dishwater, and he's incredibly rude. He gave me change (a 2-euro coin) by practically throwing it at me on the counter.

Shame!!!!! Two 20cl bottles of Lemonsoda cost €7!!!!! That's practically €17.50 per liter!!!!! As soon as you see a motorcycle park, speed up!!!!

The clerk kept talking about other customers' defective components! The milk in the cappuccino was bad... When you go to a bar, you'll only spend 5 minutes at the counter!! Give it to me!

He sells me a sandwich with frozen bread, a slice of cheese, and a slice of ham from a discount store, as if it were a Carlo Cracco creation... for €5, not even at a service station. Not satisfied, because I must look stupid, he tries (he was closing) to sell me a bag of leftover croissants, at half price. Moral: sandwich, ice cream stick, and juice €9.50. And it looked like he'd given me a discount! Never again!
