Tiramisu was not great - very sweet and little biscuit and coffee. Everything else was perfect! Great wine, espresso and the Carbonara di Lago is delicious! Good service too with spectacular views on the lake.

Great restaurant - with incredible views of the lake! All our dishes were so tasty and had lots of flavour. Loved the steamed mussels, so simple but so delicious. Staff were also great and friendly.

Fantastic boutique restaurant as close to the beautiful lake as you could wish. Staff and service are stellar, we are in post COVID time and they were more than prepared, everything is spotless and you felt safe and sound. My friend treated me to a lunch with fresh grilled fish and the fried little fish were so good you can’t believe. Excellent dessert and good list of wines. Congratulations to the owner and staff, this is a must go in the area and a place to head if you are nearby.

Posto molto carino, sul lago. Bar e ristorante con posti anche all'interno. Personale molto gentile. Per gli aperitivi c è un po da migliorare. Hugo troppo alcolico, e non sembrava proprio hugo diciamo. Comunque un'altra possibilità gliela do volentieri. Panorama incantevole. Parcheggio presente, non grandissimo ma c è. Per il pranzo e la cena consiglio di prenotarsi.

Pranzo all'estero con un'ottima vista lago. Il recente cambio gestione non ha mantenuto continuità al menù. Poche proposte e porzioni non abbondanti. Il cibo è buono e di qualità. Peccato abbiano tolto il fritto misto.

Premetto che per me ha un valore sentimentale, ma cerco di essere obiettiva. Il cibo è da 7, buoni gli spaghetti con le vongole, la calamarata con il pesce e i pescetti fritti. Digerito sempre perfettamente. Dolci esempio crumble con caramello e mele, buono. Servizio gentile e veloce. Consiglio vivamente di prenotare nel weekend. Sulla spiaggetta di Cerro, bellissimi i tramonti sul lago. Ci sono alcuni tavoli al chiuso, anche in caso di tempo non ideale. Porticato molto carino con alberi e lucine, ma solo in caso di sole. Sono aperti di solito da Pasqua fino ad ottobre. Frequenti gli ospiti anche solo per un aperitivo nei tavolini esterni. Il bagno pulito ma esterno al chiosco. Parcheggi gratuiti e a pagamento intorno al chiosco. Rapporto qualità prezzo buona. Due accessi diversi uno con gradini e uno senza.

Posto molto carino sul lungo lago, con tavoli all'esterno x aperitivi. Cibo ottimo, sia i primi piatti che il fritto. Caffè buono servizio molto celere, personale gentile e attento.

Si chiama Chiosco di Cerro ma in realtà è un gradevolissimo ristorante sul lungolago Perabò (Cerro, Laveno Monbello). In posizione invidiabile quasi sulla spiaggia, offre sia il servizio ristorante sia il servizio bar. Ambiente ombroso e fresco grazie ai tigli e platani secolari della località. Servizio accurato e amichevole; piatti di mare e di lago, buoni e ben presentati.

Come regalo di compleanno.. mi hanno portato a cena in questo locale sulle sponde del lago maggiore e già questo paga la cena la vista, una chicca. La cucina curata e ben presentata, piatti con pesce di lago giustamente proposti, e aggiungerei ottima. Che dire un regalo inaspettato.Complimenti piccoli tesori nascosti.

Location molto suggestiva, peccato per il servizio un po' raffazzonato. Servirebbe maggiore attenzione al cliente e un po' più di professionalità a partire dall'abbigliamento (é difficile distinguere i camerieri dagli avventori) fino al servizio in sé (é buona norma, quando si fanno accomodare gli ospiti al tavolo chiedere subito se desiderano dell'acqua, soprattutto in estate, e a maggior ragione se li si fa attendere 20 minuti prima di essere considerati). Il pane sembrava vecchio, difficile da masticare, i piatti sono senza infamia né lode. In sintesi il locale ha un ottimo potenziale, consiglio ai gestori di impegnarsi nel migliorare gli aspetti salienti che rendono positiva un'esperienza nel loro locale.💪

Location molto carina direttamente sul lungo lago di Cerro. Si può fare sia uno spuntino sia pranzare o cenare. Ideale anche per cene romantiche. Anche in estate, la temperatura scende, se siete freddolosi munitevi di golfino. Ci sono anche le zanzare. I bagni del locale sono pubblici ed esterni. Personale cortese.

Luogo incantevole, spettacolare. Locale bello e ben tenuto. Cucina ottima, ben presentata. Personale cortese e accogliente, ma disorganizzato e disattento. Costretto a mangiare “ad acqua”, impossibile farmi portare, nonostante ripetuti tentativi, quanto ordinato da bere.

We visited the restaurant for dinner a week ago, during our stay on Lago Maggiore. The day before we had passed by during the day and we liked the atmosphere and the view of the lake. Unfortunately, however, our expectations for a pleasant evening were not met. The starters and the two main fish portions were not flavoured at all, the duck breast was tough, the ribeye steak was ok. Our biggest disappointment was at the end, when they included in our bill two additional main courses that we had not ordered at all, i.e. they overcharged us €40. My advice is - do not have high expectations on the food and be careful when paying the bill.

Purtroppo la nuova gestione non ha nulla a che vedere con quella precedente Le porzioni si sono notevolmente ridotte, i prezzi sono aumentati e il servizio lascia decisamente a desiderare. I tavoli, privi di tovaglia e apparecchiati con tovagliette all’americana, danno l’impressione di essere in uno stabilimento balneare piuttosto che in un ristorante rinomato. Inoltre, l’igiene sembra lasciata al caso. Il menù, stampato in casa su due fogli A4, elenca esclusivamente antipasti, primi e secondi, senza includere contorni, dolci, caffè, amari o bevande. Di conseguenza, ogni prezzo va chiesto di continuo al personale. Vino della casa (in caraffa) sparito a fronte di una carta dei vini che farebbe invida anche a Carlo Cracco. Se dal nome “Gran Fritto” ci si aspetta un piatto ricco e vario, la realtà è ben diversa: è arrivato un misero piattino con degli pseudo-calamari, un gamberetto e due verdure fritte. Per 2 gran fritti, 1 piattino di polpo, 1 patatina, 1 acqua gassata, 1 bibita in lattina e 2 calici di vino bianco abbiamo speso 90 € (di cui 7 € solo per bibita e acqua e ben 44 € per i mini- fritti). Niente dolce, nessuna bottiglia di vino, nessun caffè, nessun amaro… È un conto elevato per quanto offerto, soprattutto considerando che in altri ristoranti del lago, a parità di vista e di prezzo, è possibile consumare una cena ben più ricca, con una cura dei dettagli ben diversa. Cerro non è la Galleria Vittorio Emanuele di Milano, e soprattutto la nuova gestione avrebbe dovuto portare maggior rispetto alla clientela affezionata che per anni ha frequentato questo locale, portandolo avanti, e che, a questo punto, non tornerà.

Many empty tables. We were asked to wait for thirty minutes. We were told we cannot reserve. We had an aperitif to bridge the time. Then, even though seven two-person tables in the restaurant were empty for the time we were here — they kept telling us no. We were talking Italian. I don't understand what they want, but obviously not paying customers. Very weird service that doesn't care about people who are literally sitting there at a table outside staring at empty tables inside. It's really absurd, but unfortunately consistent with the other bad reviews this place has got.

Unfortunately, the service was awful during our visit. I tried to book a table and even asked for one directly, but despite seeing several empty tables, they never let me book or be seated. There was no explanation—despite the place being visibly empty and new people arriving. I would understand if the restaurant were full, or if all the tables were reserved, but the staff simply chose to ignore us. To make matters worse, for some reason I can’t understand, they don’t serve food outside either. A complete waste of time.

Unfortunately, our experience at your restaurant was disappointing. The steak I ordered was cold and tasteless. We also ordered spaghetti for my daughter, but they turned out to be spicy, even though we specifically asked for the dish to be mild. During our meal, we were constantly bothered by flies, which significantly spoiled our experience. Additionally, we wanted to sit at a table closer to the lake, which was free, but we were told it was reserved. However, during our entire time there, no one sat at that table. I sincerely hope the restaurant will address these issues.

I wanted to eat there with my family. Great view, nice menu. It was 6:15pm, the place was completly empty and we were sent away because we didn't have reservation. We needed max 45 minutes to order and eat, I would be suprised if they were full by then. So don't even try this restaurant without reservation. My 2,5 year old child remained hungry, we had to drive home (40min). Thanks for that.

The service shares only rare knowlede in common foreign languages (english), the shared opening hours seem arbitrary and the food is slightly overpriced. The location is pretty nice and the food is alright but not as spicy as it should be (fish [not from the local sea] and pasta [vegetarian]) - the dolci was nice tho' its been a bit overpriced as well. We had a white wine, it was good but has been recommended AFTER we denied the most expensive, which didnt fit our meals (the service couldnt match meal to wine). Finally we paid 18€ for our chosen one that was not quite better than a 5€ wine from the local supermarket. I had to walk by three times to get a table, at first they told me, the kitchen was totally closed, the second time (after i got told they open for meals at 6pm) they told me i had to call for a table and after i left and saw free tables without a sign, an elderly coworker gave us a seat and the menu. She was motivated, kind and ambitioned by the way. Yesterday i tried to call for a reservation but they didnt pick up, even tho their homepage clearly marked them as "opened", as we hopefully walked by, they had closed. Today i called pretty early to get a shot and they picked up at the third try, told me its possible if its not raining. Right on time i called again, because it began to rain and asked for a table inside but they denied, all tables had been taken. I cant recommend this restaurant at all, but the kiosk "pizzeria croce bianca". They're not as shiny as the chiosco di cerro but unbelieveable kind, motivated and make delicios pizza and beer!

Impolite and unfriendly, that’s all I can say. We asked for a table and the woman didn’t even come close. She asked another person and told us from far away there isn’t any open table. No further information if later on possible and no chance to ask bc she turned around. We didn’t have a reservation, but after that encounter I don’t even want to eat there.
