Habíamos visitado muchas veces el antiguo local, y este año por fin pudimos visitar el nuevo local. Ambiente muy relajado y atención exquisita como siempre. Tomamos uno de los menús que ofrecen y quedamos encantados como siempre. Tallarinas, mejillones, caracolas, gambas, calamares, tortilla de llanqueta, buñuelos de bacalao, todo buenísimo. Muy recomendable, espero volver pronto. Espero que os vaya genial en esta nueva localización.

Un excelente restaurante con un gran ambiente. La comida es muy sabrosa y simplemente fabulosa. El restaurante ofrece una gran selección de especialidades del mar. El servicio es amable y no te falta nada. No hemos comido tan bien durante mucho tiempo y, por lo tanto, este restaurante es definitivamente recomendable.

Todo de 11, calidad precio. Un lugar muy acogedor, fresco, el propietario, un gran Murciano, el camarero q nos atendió muy amable y cordial, un menú degustación excelente, si Dios nos lo permite, el cava Rigol uno de los mejores cavas pertenecientes a Freixenet, volveremos.

My wife and I both very much enjoyed our visit. We found the service attentive but not intrusive. We shared a couple of starters - a prawn and tuna salad and some fried baby squid. My wife had the Dublin bay prawn and monk fish casserole which two people could have easily shared, a lesson learned. I had the steak with blue cheese sauce. I also managed to squeeze in an orange flavoured flan from the sweet trolley. All of the dishes were well presented and flavoursome. Overall highly recommended.

We visited The New Canasta as a group of 11 and ordered a wide variety of dishes, everything was absolutely delicious. One of the highlights was being personally welcomed by the owner himself which really shows the passion and dedication behind this place. The staff were friendly and professional and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Although it’s a few hundred meters off the main strip in Castelldefels Playa, it’s 100% worth the short walk. A fantastic restaurant all around — we’ll definitely be back!

First of all I will say my experience was so great I returned 3 more times before writing this review. Everything on menu is amazing. The second we walked in an elderly gentleman with A kind smile. Greated us every time who was the owner. Made a special salad just for 1 of us that was not on menu. Dine inside or out service is amazing. Desert we took whole cake home because it was excellent. I can't say enough this place is a much needed visit a secret gem.

It's the 3rd time here and I already want to come again to this place. This place is simply amazing. The aperitive was very consistent and I choosed beef as the main course and it was really tasty and the souce that came with it was very good. As desert we choose chocolate cake and MelyMato (Honey and Chees), I consider that we made a very good choice :)

We give a try to Paella Valenciana, and we loved it. It took 25 minutes to get served, but it is the right amount you need to wait if you want freshly made, unheated Paella. The restaurant itself looks great and is run by an old man that loves what he does. Except for language difficulties (no one is able to speak english ... ), at least they have a menu in different languages. I highly recommend you to give a try also to desserts, but to try them all you need to go there more than once. The restaurant is not cheap, but it what I am willing to pay to get such a great food.

Would be 5 stars except so expensive. Food and service is excellent, house wine nicely chosen, but just be prepared to pay for it. For example, starters run €20-40. Like other's comments, it is "old school" in style, but hey there is a time and place for pleasantly dignified old school service.

Fuimos a comer un sábado al mediodía y cogimos el menú Canasta, es menú cerrado con aperitivo, plato principal a escoger (En nuestro caso escogimos el arroz con bogabante) postre, bebida y cafés por 75€. Los aperitivo realmente buenos, el vino buenísimo, el postre igual. Pero el plato principal que era lo que realmente queríamos probar no estaba rico. Ni el arroz, ni el caldo ni el bogabante. El servicio muy bien, el sitio muy bonito, pero el arroz fue bastante decepcionante.

Restaurante en Castelldefels cerca a la playa , fuimos con muchas expectativas pero a nosotros no nos gustó nada, la paella estaba para nosotros el arroz cruda para ellos al dente … lástima llevaba más verdura que marisco & bastante caro para lo que comimos. Los púlpitos rebozados ( no se si sea el nombre correcto ) nos parecieron unos de cualquier bar, nada especial para el precio que tienen actualmente. Yo personalmente no lo recomiendo porque fue elevado el precio que pagamos para lo que nos brindó quizás en otra ocasión fuese mejor pero no volveremos a ir.

La experiencia en este restaurante ha sido decepcionante. La verdad que los precios son demasiado altos para la calidad de los platos que sirven. La paella deja mucho que desear, de hecho no estaba buena. El resto de platos estaban buenos, pero como digo tampoco es para lo que nos cobraron. El local es bonito y esta limpio, pero no tiene vistas. Y la atencion es un poco dejada por parte de algunos camareros. No veo correcto que me tiren los cubiertos por la mesa, por mucho que esta este arrinconada, y no lleguen bien. En todo caso deberian valorar poner mesas mas pequeñas en los rincones. Cobran mucho para tener tan poco miramiento. No lo recomiendo.

Es un restaurante conocido en Castelldefels. Fuimos con un menú cerrado que tenia algunos entrantes y el plato principal era el arroz caldoso de bogavante. Las frituras la verdad que no brillaron mucho, pero no estaban mal. El arroz tenía buen sabor. No obstante, si hubiese pagado a la carta me habría parecido caro para la calidad que ofrecían. Sigue manteniendo la decoración de antaño de sus años dorados. Fui para conocerlo, pero no creo que vuelva a ir.

The service as dedicated and the location inside mimics a harbor scene but unfortunately the food quality was disappointing for a fish restaurant. We had the fish fillet in an orange sauce and it tasted like the fish came from a cold fried pack and the orange sauce tasted like orange but quite generic. We were quite disappointed about the experience. There are mich better options on Castelldefels and prices are too high for sure for the god quality they offer.

Absurd prices. We have been wanting to try this restaurant for a while. We went since they had an Easter menu that was quite good for the price (27 euros). It started to look weird when we opened the menu and the vast majority of dishes, entries included where priced 25€+ . This means an entry was the same price of our entire menu. We order the menu and an entry a la carte. Scrambled eggs with shrimps and mushrooms. The entry was no more than 6 eggs, 4 shrimps and some mushrooms. The menu was ok, small portions, the food was not bad but not memorable. This menu was seasonal which means that outside of this season you'll have to order s la carte or from other menus (all priced 45€+). The carte itself had no sense. You'll have a dourada for 25 euros and then any entry you choose will be 20-25 euros as well. Just extremely expensive for the quality and quantity of the food. The service was good and staff was nice.

It's ok, but kind of expensive for the quality. Rice was quite subpar, not bad necessarily. Shrimps overcooked. Calamari and boquerones were very tasty, but the cod carpaccio not too tasty. Too much food on the tasting menu, I'd say avoid that menu.

The food is decent but very expensive for what you get. I’m not sure if I ordered the wrong thing on the menu. (Fisherman’s soup and salted sea bass) but it didn’t seem worth the €10 and €28 price tag. Although to be fair the atmosphere and dining experience is quite quite good

It’s such a scam price. The most expensive one near Barcelona. They non-stop gives us the food and then charge us so much. Super expensive!

Careful they screw you with the prices. We went several times to this place last year because the paella was good. We came back this weekend for the first time since 2020 and I don't know what happened to them but the quality price became very very bad. The paella was less good than before and they totally screw us up with the prices. They offered us a small house salad (that is not written on the menu so you don't know the price beforehand) with 3 leaves of salad, one tomato and a bit of tuna and small pieces of parmesan and they charged us 22€ for this salad! You will see "it's incredible" told us the waiter. What was incredible was the price! Same with the glass of wine, the prices are not written on the menu and surprise they charge you 5€ per glass of wine, pretty small glasses of wine moreover. We ended up with a bill of 88€ for 2 people for just one small house salad (22€) that we shared, 2 paellas (45€), bread (3€) and 3 small glasses of wine (15€) and a bottle of water (3€). I will never come back! There are better places with better paellas for cheaper prices.
