It's not the first time I've been to Balarm and it's always a confirmation. They have typical Sicilian cuisine, arancini, pianelle, panzerotti, pizza, ricotta cannoli and much more. They offer good value for money, a hearty aperitif, and takeaway is also available. I recommend it, it's worth a try 👍.

I stop in this shopping area and see this Sicilian bistro bar and stop for a bite to eat. It's already beautiful from the outside. I sit at the table and order. The wait is just right, the table is just a paper placemat and bagged napkins. The first courses are excellent and high-quality, the pasta is sophisticated and the toppings are tasty and well-balanced, the second course is fantastic, and the meat is spectacular. The desserts are very good, the only downside is the cobwebs, a real shame.

Super friendly place! We asked for two sandwiches that weren’t in the menu and they did it specially for us! They were delicious! We also tried arancini and it was very very tasteful! Our puppy received some water and a couple of dog’s biscuits. Really nice place :) Amazing food and a very welcoming atmosphere :)

BALARM is synonymous with my homeland, Sicily. For a moment, I forgot I was in the mountains and felt right at home! I've never eaten an arancini like this before; trust me, you know what I'm talking about! You'll try every dish (as I did) to return to the true origins of this cuisine. Hospitality and courtesy are the hallmarks of this place, and everything is meticulously maintained. Stop by even just for a coffee, because it will transform into a moment of pure pleasure.

The coffee was good, the service was quick, but the Neapolitan sfogliatella was a disappointment: it was frozen and not at all crispy, stale, so much so that I felt like I was eating cardboard. I expressed my dissatisfaction at the cashier, and the lady from whom I expected at least understanding turned a deaf ear. I left the place dissatisfied after having paid for a subpar Neapolitan sfogliatella and a Sicilian cannolo that was neither good nor bad.

35 minutes for 1 cappuccino, 1 coffee, 1 mini cannoli, and 1 apricot croissant (the latter arrived after another 10 minutes). The place wasn't crowded at all. I tried to point this out while I was paying, but the lady at the register was too busy chatting with someone else behind the counter. She swiped the receipt and pointed to the cash machine, not realizing I was talking to her. Two stars because what we ordered was good, and I'd had a good experience the previous time.

Nulla da dire sulla qualità dei prodotti e sui ragazzi al servizio. Nota negativa nei confronti della signora alla cassa che dopo averci chiesto cosa avevamo preso, dove e chi ci avesse servito, ha chiesto conferma al personale aggiungendo un "e poi?", sorta di tranello nei confronti della persona interpellata e segno che sicuramente non si fidava della nostra parola (posso capire quest'ultima ma poco elegante davanti a un cliente). Consiglio spassionato: prima scontrino e poi servizio in modo da evitare figure barbine.

Da siciliano la rosticceria mangiata in questo luogo non rispecchia affatto la peculiarità e la qualità dei prodotti originali siculi. Ho mangiato calzoni arancine mattonelle ed un calzone dichiarato con porchetta ma che porchetta non era. La pasta dei calzoni era dolce e friabile nulla a che vedere con quella che si potrebbe trovare in qualsiasi bar medio in Sicilia. Non rende giustizia al buon nome della cultura culinaria dei bar siciliani. Peccato.

The food is decent, but the service is terrible. The staff, very young and constantly changing, are completely unfamiliar with the customers; they don't even notice who's just arrived and who's been sitting for a while and waiting to order. They make a mistake by serving different items than what was ordered, and they don't even know what's on the counter. It's better to opt for the kiosk across the street.

There is a course to be done on good manners with the cashier... and it is necessary to warn that when you pay you also have to order, not like other places where you pay at the cashier and the order goes directly to the bar staff and half an hour of waiting for a coffee and glasses and water.
