My opinion is based on my experience yesterday. The food was good, attractive, and inexpensive. The service seemed slow, especially from one woman. I think they need to improve their customer service skills. The atmosphere was peaceful.
The best tortas in Montevideo
It was a wonderful lunch we had here today, food quality and service is top of the top. Staff is very friendly and you can see they're qualified, one point to improve: please do not play reggaeton as background music, it's revolting and low class
Ok
Is good and exelent. I love eat on it restaurant
Delicious though somewhat expensive
He ido varias veces.
Today I visited Susy Restaurant, and it was a good experience. This place offers a variety of food options that satisfy all tastes and preferences. I especially liked the variety of dishes. The quality of the ingredients is excellent, and you can tell they use fresh, high-quality products. The service was friendly and attentive, and the staff recommended options and specials. The only downside was that the consommé and chicken with fine herbs were lukewarm... Our dishes were cold, although flavorful. The wait for orders is a bit long. The atmosphere is cozy, with a decor that reflects a vintage and nostalgic feel. It's a place I definitely recommend visiting. The variety of options, the quality of the ingredients, and the friendly service are all excellent. The place is very hygienic and has the appropriate facilities for people with disabilities. Service begins at 7:50 pm and ends at 8:00 pm. Rating: 4/5 stars Price: Moderate Recommendation: For those seeking a varied and exciting culinary experience, and for lovers of international cuisine.
The food and atmosphere are nice, we have been going to this place occasionally for years and we like it, this last time we noticed that there is new staff and I noticed some very friendly ladies eager to learn, this time they gave us coffee and didn't offer us bread and I missed that detail and honestly the place needs maintenance, especially the bathrooms, and I didn't like that they served me in a broken bowl, even though the food wasn't spilled, it does give a bad impression and can even cause a cut.
Affordable and their breakfasts have good taste
Slow service but the price and taste are above average.
It had been a long time since I'd been there, and honestly, it left a bad taste in my mouth. The waitresses seemed annoyed, the breaded cutlet was tough, the coffee tasted like water from a sock, and if we wanted to order anything else or change anything on our menu, the waitress gave us dirty looks. I've been going to that place for many years, and this time, nothing was right.
Sub-par customer service experience as is the case with most restaurants in Mexico City. Food barely okay, scant menu with little variety. Street parking seldom available.
We've been buying our Christmas and New Year's food from them for the past three years, and it's delicious. We'd heard they had a restaurant option, so today we decided to go. They offer set menus with a complete meal of consommé or cream soup, rice or salad, and a main dish. I ordered the cod, which was delicious; the pork loin was very good, and the paella was very good. The breaded cutlet was terrible, with inedible skin, and the service from the waitress was awful. The bathrooms were dirty and smelled terrible. It's a shame about the food because of details that could be corrected.
Okay
I've been twice and I didn't think they could improve, but they have. The service and attention are worse than the first time. The waitresses take forever to serve you, they're always distracted, they forget to bring spoons, bring water... Well, I had to get up and pour the coffee at my table the first time (the waiter just stood there watching and no one came to offer help). The food is rather bland, the flavored water is good. For lunch, I ordered consommé that came with rice, then they served me plain rice because they ran out of the second soup, and then they brought me the main course. I ordered pork loin in tamarind sauce and it came with white carrots as a side dish 🙄... Yes, again, rice instead of mashed potatoes or a salad. In short, I'm not going to give it a third chance, I don't recommend it. The bakery is the only decent option, as is the rotisserie.
No agua, no refresco .. café!!!!! Terrible experiencia
On January 31, 2026, at 2:35 pm, I requested an invoice to deduct travel expenses. They refused to provide one and, furthermore, demanded proof of tax status, even though it's illegal to request it according to tax reforms. This occurred even though I wrote my information on the back of the receipt. It would be good if you reviewed this situation with your staff or at least trained them on how to issue invoices at the registers. The food tasted good. The water tasted very artificial, not natural.
Upon entering, no one guides you or greets you; you have to find a table however you can. The staff is incredibly rude, chatting amongst themselves, laughing and laughing, but when you thank them, they don't even acknowledge it; they ignore you. I was served by a heavyset waitress who was very rude to me and other tables. I arrived, and they served people who arrived after me first. The glasses were dirty and smelled strongly of eggs. Everyone had a sour expression, I mean EVERYONE. The atmosphere was incredibly oppressive. I ordered some Swiss enchiladas with chicken, and the chicken had tons of bones. When I chewed, I accidentally got a bone stuck in my enchilada. I will never return.
Terrible service from two or three waitresses who can be rude and don't care about their work. They forget that the customer is the reason they're there. They refused to serve us because we decided to change tables, and with an arrogant attitude, they said, "There are a lot of people and your service isn't ready," after 45 minutes! I was a regular customer, but that's not what's important to the restaurant!
NEGATIVE REVIEW – “SUSY” RESTAURANT, MONTEVIDEO, LINDAVISTA ⭐ I had the worst service experience of my life at this place. I came with my family and ordered tea and a glass of water. The waitress tried to charge me for the glass of water as if it were lemonade, even though I never ordered lemonade. They never brought me the water, so I had to go out and buy a bottle of water at another store. And they still tried to charge me for it, even though I didn't buy it from them. The treatment was rude, humiliating, and completely inappropriate. The managers treated me as if I were doing something wrong. I had to ask a police officer for help. Officer Juan Carlos Cuenca Román treated me with respect, but the restaurant tried to intimidate him over the phone, even telling him: “You don't know who you're messing with.” This place doesn't respect its customers, consumers, or the authorities. It's not about money: it's about dignity and mistreatment. I do not recommend it under any circumstances.
I wanted to give this restaurant several chances, but each time I ended up disappointed. At breakfast, they tried to charge me $19 for some bread I didn't even order. I found a hair in one dish. And the last time, the food I ordered was completely tasteless. Therefore, I'm giving it a minus one star rating, as both the service and the food leave much to be desired.
