First time here and it is amazing. The food is incredible and the gumbo is one of the best ever. Jumbo fried shrimp and fried catch fish are delicious. Service - excellent! We live down south Austin but will be back next time we are up north -Most likely we will make a special trip. Right near the HEB center.

My mom goes here every week with my brother so I had to give it a try. Wow it’s so so good! Started with a dozen raw oysters which of course were delicious. Then, moved onto gumbo no rice. They gave me so much shrimp, I was already getting full! Then, the best part - the salt and pepper frog legs. These are the best frog legs I’ve ever had. Fresh, juicy, and seasoned perfectly. It comes with a cup of sauce to dip the legs on and a salad. Eat all of your legs first and then you’re left with the amazing buttery onions and jalapeños that you can mix in with your salad. Voila! I cannot wait to come back here. Aaron was our waiter and he is so kind and patient!

CR Surf and Turf is a seafood restaurant in Cedar Park, Texas that has been serving up fresh and delicious seafood since 2005. A great mom and pop place to go for a hot date in Cedar Park. Awesome steaks! Great seafood. Friendly staff. Update 10/08/2019: This place never fails. The steaks are amazing! Nice and thick with great flavor. The fish is awesome too, fresh, flaky, with savory sauces. Beer is very cold and cheap ($3.99 for 16oz draft Shiner or Does Equis). The staff are excellent. The deserts (cakes) are to die for. This is one of the best places in Cedar Park and Leander for date night.

The waitstaff was personable and accommodating, the environment was loud which worked to our benefit with a two-year-old in tow, they have a kid's menu (no milk though), and the food was great! I absolutely loved the crab and shrimp cakes, phenomenal!

Always great food at great prices and a very friendly staff. They are open every day except Monday. The ambiance is that of a Cajun cafe. You won't regret going here to eat.

I went for lunch, but it was a dark atmosphere that was not burdensome. The gulf's oysters were good value for money, the clam chowder wasn't great, but everything else was delicious. Server was kind and checked often. Nevertheless, I gave it 4 stars because I was very thirsty when I got home after dinner. I can recommend it and I want to try other food next time

Don't waste your money! The service was poor. The food was under cooked. Even after we advised them the shrimp was under cooked they refused to listen to reason. We didn't ask for a refund or for it to be recooked. She continued to say it was the type of shrimp. The only positive thing was the place was clean and restroom smelled fresh.

First time eating at this place, service is bad and the food is greasy and dry. We ordered calamari ( very greasy ), surf and turf ( steak and fried shrimp with baked potato and sweet French fried) steak was dry and shrimp was cold so they refried it and fries was chewy. My husband had French fries and green beans( look mushy) and they’re not hot. So I complained, they gave us $7 discount for it. Don’t waste your time and money here.
