It’s been many years since I’ve dropped my bike off for a repair, but they said they could have it back the next day. Just a simple repair, but when the bike was returned, it was completely cleaned. I’m unsure if this happens with all repairs, but it was clean as new and that was a fun surprise. Great customer service, and I liked the text telling me the bike was done.
Super friendly staff with good food and beer. During bike shop hours you can also buy a bike, or get your bike fixed while having a beer. WUT?? You can also bring your laptop and with the free WiFi and large tables.
Awesome place for a post / mid ride bite. Food was excellent. My buddy had the Greek Salad simple but full of flavor, and I had the Green Goddess cold sandwich.. so bomb. Awesome collection of for sale and rental mountain bikes and a fair priced full service shop. Visit the mountain bike museum after stoping at this perfect Fairfax watering hole.

An excellent bike shop with a great range of bikes and kit, oh and a bar and cafe! We enjoyed a toastie and cider sat outside, before going back into the store and topping up on gloves, tees and hoodies. Great atmosphere and friendly staff.
Wow. Great pizza, reminiscent of real NYC pizza and tasty IPAs. Also, great staff. Compliments to chef, Miss Nubia. Had the soup and salad and tried the chicken tacos. All were delicious. We drive to Samuel Taylor State Park often so Splitrock will be our new favorite restaurant.
I was in town from the east coast last week for a family event and was able to make time to snag a MTB ride. We were staying in Nicasio and I found this nearby shop in a google search. Technically would give 15 stars; 5 for the rental, 5 each for the post ride taps and food. The fellas at the shop were super welcoming and I had a great time chatting it up with them. The only name I caught was Sterling, at the bar. Dude was very hospitable and made me feel like a regular. And the Cubano sangwich was off the hook! Hope to be back soon
TJ and the team at Splitrock are awesome. I got my S works stumpjumper with them and just picked it up after the first complementary tuneup - it looks and feels great and they even did a brilliant job cleaning off the tamarancho dirt coat. Speedy, quality service and chill vibe. Highly recommend!
Thankful for all the support from everyone at Solitrock in my journey of mountain biking. They really helped me find the right first bike for me and I love that I can come in literally mid ride for an adjustment. Also super great beer selection at the restaurant!
Purchased a Specialized Kenevo about 3 months ago from Splitrock. This is my 4th emtb. Jason, the owner, and his staff did an excellent job in dialing in the bike to my exact preferences. This was definitely the best emtb purchasing experience I’ve ever had by miles!! The staff was happy to go above and beyond in dialing the bike to my exact specs and expeditiously upgraded the forks as I waited in the great shop and enjoyed a delicious lunch at the Splitrock restaurant. On getting the bike, I was able to immediately test ride it on some great trails (classic Marin trails) a short riding distance from the shop. After the maiden run, I enjoyed a cold brew at the Splitrock tap room with some local riders who were as stoked as I was after their trail rides!! Great and rare combination of mtb shop, restaurant, tap room and friendly post ride scene!! I hope to be back soon and feel so fortunate to have the experience I did at Splitrock Tap and Wheel!🤙🚵🏽♂️🤙
Another awesome experience with the outstanding crew at Splitrock Tap & Wheel!!! Everything is done quickly, efficiently, and thoroughly. And, the team couldn't be friendlier. Lucky to have such a great bike shop.
I was attending a funeral in Marin County and hit this place up afterward with the family for food and drinks. I have to say this is one of the coolest bike shops I have ever visited. The Whyte bikes brand is so amazing. Test rode the G 170 coil 29 works and was blown away. Very friendly staff at this place. These guys were so nice that I want to visit here. Whyte bikes is no joke. Best value and quality for money. Am considering the G 170 works 29 for my next bikes. I ride a large and the G 170 Coil works felt great in a medium and the right size. I like the 820 Race face carbon bars on this bike as well. This bike is work of art and probably the funnest best feeling bike I have ridden ever.
Came in looking to get a new tire that I needed to get replaced due to a gash. The two gents were SUPER helpful in telling be awesome tips on what I could do if it ever happened again. With that being said, I bought 2 tubes and the tire for a SUPER reasonable price, which I can't thank them enough for due to the bummy day I had today. Great people, great service and awesome respect. (If they read this post, remember what I told you guys on the discount to you know where!)
This is my local bike shop, a couple minute bike ride. I have purchased a bike from them and have many services done. Always prompt, friendly, and willing to answer my probably dumb questions. Also, a great place to have a post-ride beer and bite. Love this place.
Amazing concept, wonderfully executed! A destination in it's own. A hybrid bike shop, cafe, beer garden. Featuring amazing pizza, worth the trip itself.Over a dozen rotating, beers, ciders, wines on tap.Coffee, espresso, bike tubes and ride munchies. A great meeting place for friends and family. Bike shop service is top notch, catering to the local high end mountain bike community. Road, and family bikes are serviced to equal standards as well. Exclusive dealer of Whyte bicycles North America. Tam Rancho passes available also.
So far my me experience has been very pleasant. I was looking at a bike listed on their website and spoke to someone about the logistics of shipping it to me. I made the purchase and communication has been transparent and clear. I received tracking and look forward to getting my bike soon. Highly recommend if you are buying out of state.

Fun atmosphere good food. The Mediterranean salad was awesome. Those who had beer enjoyed it. Staff was friendly and helpful. would've been nice if there was more outdoor seating, café, and a bike shop what a concept.

I went in for a tuneup, which was done very well, so let me start off with that. My issue is that when I went in, I was told a price for the tune up and okayed it. Five days later, I went back for my bike and they did a more expensive tuneup and replaced my chain. My issue is therefore that my tuneup was a good deal more expensive than what I had planned on and no one called me to approve the additional cost of the work. That’s my only issue because I went there partially because of the pricing.

Stopped in to check my chain wear and get a price on some service and they quoted me $450 to change pads and my chain which they said was worn and should be replaced. I was surprised because I have about 1600 miles on my bike and this sounded way high to boot. Guy also said I should plan 10% of the cost of my emtb in maintenance a year. So $750/year? I don't think so!! To double check my chain I stopped at another shop on my way home who measured and said my chain wasn’t even halfway worn and the pad replacement would be a small fee. I don’t trust anyone who would upsell me on service. So hard pass
Very underwhelmed by the service from the bike shop. I bought a new high-end bike from them and it was assembled extremely poor. More than a dozen bolts were way off rec’d torque. If this was sold to a inexperience bike wrench they could have got hurt. Bars and brakes were barely holding on! Brake levers on carbon bars were way over torqued!

This is a bike shop and a restaurant. We consumed food and drinks , there wasn’t a single other customer , and they told us we can’t have our bikes on the patio. Super rude , just to make a point. You would think they would be friendlier to their main customer base
