¡Todo bien! Can't say enough about this amazing one-and-only cerveceria in San Miguel de Cozumel! Just a couple of blocks off the main square in el Centro or a short taxi ride from the cruise terminal. Awesome people (shout-out to Chris), great beers (from water sourced from a well that you can actually look down into from the brewery), and an even better kitchen (definitely have one of their delicious empañadas or pizzas from the brick oven on the back patio). Cozy indoor and outdoor seating and infinitely better (and less expensive) than the tourist traps at the cruise terminal! UPDATE: A year later, but the same amazing experience! Tried a few new brews, as well as the Chapulines Pizza (a little more adventurous than the equally delicious Mushroom Lovers Pizza). Also, Punta Sur has been joined by KUSAM Brewery, and since they are only a few blocks apart, you should definitely try both! UPDATE 2: Back for New Year's, and sadly the kitchen was not open (luckily, Kusam Brewery and Tacos is nearby). Still enjoyed a flight!

Just WOW! This place really deserves a proper highlight.. best place in Cozumel if you enjoy drinks and good food. Don’t need to say more but owner and all the staff were super attentive and make our 1 hour here the best time.

We had heard so much negative about the beer. I've been drinking small brew pub beers since the 80's and think they are doing an excellent job. Style wise spot on. The pizza was great as well as the ceviche. Definitely worth stopping in and I will be back for sure. Edit from last year, Still 5 across the board, pizza great, ceviche great and the beers are improved from last so still good

I love this place so much I have come three times in the past week. Everything I have ordered is incredible. Lionfish ceviche, empanada de carne, calzone, a few salads, stuffed mushrooms, vegan pizza. They were kindly accommodating to my lactose allergy. Get the passion fruit juice to top it off. Love the service, this is a must try.

Solid place!! Lion fish ceviche was gigantic, so fresh. Lion fish pizza was so good, I’m getting it every time. Great empanadas. Several delicious beers made in house, frequently rotating. You can sit outside in the back by the clay oven where they bake deliciousness, there’s a refreshing breeze there.

I should have come here first when the Airbnb host recommended it. The pizza is great. It’s a shame I won’t be able to get this in the states. Very Nice Place to eat, drink, and have fun with friends. All of the pizza options on the menu are special even the ingredients placed onto each pie are with precision & care. Thank You.

We love the pizza and empanadas! We especially love the lion fish pizza! The atmosphere is fun and relaxed. We make it a point to eat here often while in Cozumel!

4.5 for food, 4 for beer I came here several times while staying in Cozumel for a month, and generally enjoyed the experience! - I got the lionfish pizza twice, and once it was really good, and the other time it was pretty fishy (although I did eat it and my stomach was fine afterwards, but it was just a little weird to taste). - The other pizzas are also pretty yummy - the crust is thin and not soggy, and there’s a substantial amount of topping. - The lionfish ceviche is great as well, but the portion is on the smaller side. - The cauliflower wings are solid, with a bit of a thicker breading. - my vegetarian friend really liked the 4 cheese empanada (it’s like.. 5-6inches long, so a decent portion size) I’ve tried all the beers, and the eagle ray stout and the cream ale are my favorites. The other ones weren’t really my thing, but it’s probably the best beer you’ll find on the island still! They’ll give you a small taste of anything you want to try. Cocktails are fairly standard, but they’re always out of the berry one :’)))

Pizza is average, needs more sauce and crust was just ok. Empanadas are where it is at with this establishment plus the craft beers. I will also say since the beers were fabulous, they were showing the NFL playoffs and had decent wings and buffalo cauliflower. So....from a game day food/craft brew house perspective, pretty great spot but I would not go out of my way for the pie, there are better options on island for pizza.

I’m not into lion fish on my pizza so I’m not reviewing the food. Check the menu for yourself. The atmosphere is run down. There’s no interaction between you and the staff or others at the bar so show up with your friends. The beer is ok to pretty good but nothing to get excited about. I will say that they have a great pizza oven.
