A stunning refuge with excellent food, both quality and price. I recommend booking. To get there, there's a steep and fairly challenging trail that takes at least an hour, but it offers breathtaking views of the lake. I recommend booking as there aren't many places.

The place is always busy, so book in advance. The prices are high (at least €3 more per dish than last year), but there's no competition, and getting food there is a challenge. The walk is suitable for everyone (I wouldn't recommend children under 9 in the sun unless they're experienced with steep hikes). The location is beautiful.

Great place with great people. Really amazing food. Stay in the menu and you will be more than fine. The owners are happy to host people (and children of any age) and animals, but please be respectful. It is not a bar in Piccadilly Circus, so no Champagne or fancy food. Only very good local food. Better to book if you plan to arrive around Noon.

A new, welcoming, and tastefully furnished facility. The staff are extremely friendly and the food is made with quality ingredients at reasonable prices. It's close to the Muffe' lake. Well done, keep it up! P.S.: It's about an hour and 20 minutes' walk from the first parking lot and about 50 minutes from the second, where campers can also be parked. This trip is also recommended for families.

An easy hike in the Aosta Valley, starting from Champorcher, which gives its name to the valley. The climb is steady but easy, and the destination, the Muffe' refuge, promises a satisfying experience for the palate as well. It's located at 2,050 meters near a small lake, and in about an hour you can reach the Piana peak at 2,500 meters, just the right amount of exercise to keep your muscles in shape. The lunch and the hospitality of the hosts exceeded all expectations. Worth a visit!

A very interesting location because it's on the road to Barbustel. A very nice and cozy restaurant, excellent home cooking, the polenta is a real treat, and the girls serving are really kind and if you have any small menu requests, they'll find a way to accommodate you. The jam tart is delicious. Reasonable prices and average portions.
