First time on the island—food was beyond expectations! Great portion size and delicious fried shrimp w/my caesar salad :) Thanks must also be given to our incredibly hardworking waitress who was nice enough to chase us around the Grove to give me my bag that I stupidly left at the table. I hate that I don't remember her name but she was a life-saver! Thank you again!

The lentil soup is delicious. Meatballs are amazing. Best garlic bread with cheese. Can not wait to try the baked clams

Cherry Grove Pizza has delicious options for lunch and dinner on Fire Island. I’ve had countless Garlic Knot slices and Chicken Parm Hero’s throughout the years that I’ve been coming to Fire Island. Micheal is the sweetest, it’s so special that he remembers my name!

There is something very comforting about this place. The casual atmosphere and plastic utensils are almost nostalgic. The pizza and food were really good. Is it the best I ever had? No. But it’s just what I wanted, and it was cheap. Our waitress was super friendly as well.

If you're visiting Cherry Grove / The Pines, make your way to Cherry Grove Pizza. I've visited several times over the years, and have never been disappointed. I recommend the delicious pork chop Milanese, the truffle fries, and the chicken Sorrentino as well. Generous servings in a laid-back atmosphere.

The pizza there is incredible the eggplant rollatini pie was outstanding… our server Michael was great attentive and personable highly recommend to go when you’re there at Cherry grove!! You will not be disappointed!!

If you like the usual Italian pizza-pasta place, then you'll be fine here. The food is a bit better though and the staff is cool. The prices are good, especially if you take into account the PORTIONS and also the fact that you're on Fire Island where everything is just so much more expensive. Overall a good experience.

Cash only Cash only Cash only You’d think there would be a sign at the front register about this. Nope. If you’re a tourist you wouldn’t know this. There’s only top and bottom tips (pictured) 🌈 Decent pie overall. They have an atm somewhere in the back if you don’t have cash.

They sell by the slice if you don't want a whole pizza. It was very good and was thin crust pizza.

Delicious pizza- lots of options!!! Feels very homey. Great heros as well that are affordable. Only been to cherry grove twice & came here each time. Usually quick & easy option. Mark is awesome!

If you are used to Long Island or New York City quality pizza you will be disappointed. The pizza was overpriced, terribly greasy, and lacked flavor. They only accept cash and they price gouge the use of their ATM with a $5 SERVICE FEE!!! It is unfortunate that the owner did not think he was earning enough money on his overpriced food alone. However, the cannoli was good which is why I am leaving a 3 star rating instead of 1.

Never got free drink as promised of course. Cash only accepted plastic plates and plastic glasses and $44 for for shrimp and a tiny salad. Save the environment and your taste buds go elsewhere.

I loved this place until last night. I come here every summer. Last night there was hair in my lasagne. It was dark outside already so i couldn’t see. I was disgusted when i was chewing on hair. I used the flashlight on my phone to find a handful of dark long hairs in my lasagne. I was halfway through the lasagne, its not as though i finished it and then reported hair in my food. We told the waitress and all she offered was to discount our 2 soft drinks. My husband went to tell the guy inside and all he offered was an additional ten bucks off plus the deduction of the two soft drinks. I will never return here again or recommend it to friends as i always did. My husband did not want to cause a scene so he just paid and we left. Im Also going to spread the word across cherry grove. Nobody deserves to eat hair and then be expected to pay for it. So disappointing that a replacement meal wasn’t even offered, although i had lost my appetite at that point anyway.
