Free parking, location in the middle of the downtown with a nice variety of shops & restaurants as well as a very nice central park nearby. Terrific latin inspired cali-fusion menu, wonderful service, everyone from the hostess, waiter, manager, and owner/chef could not have been nicer. Food & drinks were all delicious. Decor is warm, modern, clean, and inviting. A must dining spot in Paso Robles. Highly recommended!

We came for Sensorio and decided to make a stop and eat before the exhibit. We walked in as they opened for dinner. Everyone was friendly. Our filet mignon and the saltado de lomo were absolutely amazing. Good portions too. The house bread and sauce were also delicious. This place is a must for my next visit to this area.

2/9/25. Where do I begin. WOW! What a great new’ish location in town for dinner. Very warm and welcoming staff that attended to our needs. The food is delicious and wonderfully plated. The food was actually hot (in temp) due to the very warm plates. Medium sized beer and wine list. No hard alcohol. Filet mignon was perfectly cooked as was the salmon. The candied pumpkin pie with ice cream for dessert was a must have. Tell your friends and visit this restaurant. We will be back and I wish them much success.

Nourishment with soul; a family run gem in Paso Robles! Ingredients were very fresh and the meat was perfectly cooked with crispiness and tenderness well balanced.

This is a family run fine dining restaurant that is a fusion of Honduran and Italian. Everything we had was excellent: Corn souffle, roasted vegetable salad, paparadelle with seafood, and seared Halibut. They have an extensive wine list with a good selection of by the glass wines or bottles both domestic and international. There is full bar service. Portions were big enough to share. Service was attentive without being intrusive. Food arrived at a good pace. Plenty of time to finish one course before another arrived. We had time to linger over wine.

Had a very pleasant business dinner here. The appetizers were very high quality and I enjoyed the sea bass. Kristina was a fantastic server and was very attentive.

Incredible food and service! Love the moist corn cake. My cappuccino was the best I’ve had- even the creamer was specially made. The burger was especially juicy- made with filet mignon and ribeye. Owner was describing the cheese made in Honduras- all staff so friendly. Can’t wait to go back!

Took my son and his girlfriend here this week as walkins. The food was excellent, and the service was also very good. We were in early, so the chef was in the dinning room and stopped by for a quick word very nice conversation. All-in-all and excellent experience.

Was there on New Year’s Eve. Shared the seafood Paella with my husband. Plenty for two and SO delish! Love how the chef came out and visited each table!! Will definitely be going back to try something else from their menu!

Absolutely delicious food. The chef is creative and talented. I recommend the corn souffle. I've never tasted anything like it. I was there for lunch and can't wait to go back for dinner.

Immediately upon walking into the restaurant, it smelled incredible! The aromas inside were intoxicating. Every special the waitress mentioned sounded irresistible. I went with one of them which was a squid ink fettuccini with lobster and crayfish in a very creamy and delicious sauce. Also tasted their corn soufflée as a starter which was recommended by our server (not pictured). It was very light and we spread it on some of the warm bread they place on the table. We had a local wine from Paso Robles at J.Lohr. And for dessert a coconut flan which was perfection! I was too full but ate it anyway because it was a great sweet treat to end the meal. The chef here knows what he’s doing. Staff is very friendly and attentive. Muchas gracias!

Absolutely delicious. Food was just amazing. Lunch dining. We started with the Empanadas. Quite unique in the presentation. Almost like soft tacos than empanadas. Delicious nonetheless. I had the carne asada steak. Cooked perfectly. This cut can be tough. But not here. Nice flavor and presentation. Both the rice and beans full of flavor. The side salad fresh and crispy greens and dressing was light. Nice addition. My wife had the burger. She is less adventurous than I. Did not disappoint. The meat was delicious and tender. Cooked perfectly. Great roll choice and again the veggies are super fresh. Larger sized fries on this. But steak cut but close to it. Their wine list is great! Fairly priced and the wine was at proper temps. Another win for us. The decor is understated and the restaurant overall is super clean and well Mai. Service was friendly and efficient. A must dine when in Paso Robles. Located next to the Hatch it most likely gets some overflow at dinner. Anyone lucky enough to give it a try will be impressed. We will be back.

Jorge kassi and Jimmy provide next level service. The food was unbelievably good. The corn souffle was an experience unto itself, it is a must order. The ragu was amazing and the lobster special was so good as well. The flour less chocolate desert was melt in your mouth good.

Wow, wonderful ! Everything in our party of seven was exquisite. Steak, pastas, sandwiches were delicious. Dessert, coconut flan, creme brule and ricotta tarts were so good, my taste buds are happy!! Chef came to greet us, family owned, highly recommend!

I almost want to give this place a bad review because it’s such a hidden gem. I want it all for me. Sorry Jorge and fam! 😁 In all seriousness, this is such a warm cozy yet elegant restaurant. The family running this business is pouring so much love into the food and the ambience. Do not miss it if you pass by Paso Robles. Corn soufflé was different and unique - I do recommend trying it out if you never tried it before and want to get out of your comfort zone Paella was a 10/10 (just wish it had a bit more shrimp) Homemade pasta / lobster ravioli is also 10/10

Amazing authentic gourmet quality food and very welcoming and friendly staff. We also placed a delivery order on our last night in town and food did not disappoint. Favorite dishes this weekend were the Lomo Saltado, Bandeja Paisa, 12 oz Rib Eye Steak w/ black truffle cremini mushroom sauce, Flan De Coco, & Plantain.

My dad and I were visiting Paso today to pick up some wine and decided to get dinner. When he saw lamb chops on the menu here, his mind was made up. We came in and were greeted by one of the family who proudly welcomed us to his family's restaurant, after we'd settled in with a glass of wine he came and told us how his father and cousins were working in the kitchen, his older sister was helping seat folks, and his younger sister was having her dinner before helping out later. This kind of true family-run restaurant is hard to find, and even before the food we were glad of our choice. We were both intrigued by the corn souffle starter, and frankly it alone would be worth coming back for. We weren't sure what to expect but the warm combination of sweet and savory was delightful. I had the mandarin basil salmon and my dad had, surprisingly, the lamb chops. Both were delicious with sauces my dad was sopping up with the fresh bread. The homemade creme Brule for dessert was fresh and delicious, with the warm sugar on top and cool custard below. We drove up from SLO and everything here was worth driving up for again!

Super quality with except portion sizes. What a relief nowadays, right?? The Chilean Sea Bass at $32 came with a good 6oz+ portion - a bargain in todays market. Delicious fire grilled vegetables. The pappardelle was excellent with a rich blush sauce. Apparently the place is new. Highly recommended. We spent $210 with 3 wines and a dessert.

A Hidden Gem That Deserves a Michelin Star From the moment we walked in, this family-owned restaurant felt like home. The warmth, the hospitality, and the passion behind every dish were impossible to miss. You can truly taste the love in their food — and I don’t say that lightly. We ordered the Pappardelle en Rosa and the 12 oz Ribeye Steak, and both were out of this world. The pasta was handmade, perfectly cooked, and coated in a sauce so flavorful I found myself scraping the plate. The steak? Cooked to perfection, juicy, and full of depth. Every bite was unforgettable. What really blew us away was hearing that the chef and pastry chef wake up at 3 AM to start preparing everything from scratch. That kind of dedication is rare — and it shows in every bite. The dessert, crafted by their phenomenal pastry chef, was nothing short of magical. Light, balanced, and creative. They also offer an impressive wine list that pairs beautifully with the dishes. Service was attentive, personal, and genuinely kind — like being taken care of by close friends. This place doesn’t just serve food — they serve heart, tradition, and artistry. Honestly, they deserve a Michelin Star. If you haven’t been yet, go. You’ll feel like part of the family — and you’ll leave planning your next visit.

Th loma saltado was authentic tasting, delicious ! Pairs well with grilled vegetables. The flan was like the way my mom used to make! This was better than the Thanksgiving meal we had that cost twice as much! Thank you for a delicious meal!

Amazing new restaurant, both the food and service were impeccable. All the staff were extremely courteous and attentive. To start, the free baked bread was one of the best we've had, a light fluffy center with a thin crunchy crust. Our appetizer, the corn soufflè, was like a breaded version of creamy corn soup, it just melted in your mouth. The Bandeja Paisa was a Columbian dish with steak, chorizo sausage, chicharron, fried egg, plantain, and avacado, a solid dish overall. The highlight of our meal was the grilled whole lobster pasta. Not only was the lobster meat perfectly cooked, but we were lucky to have a huge amount of caviar eggs in our lobster. The pasta was cooked in the lobster oil, and came with a delicate tomato basil sauce. Finally, we had coconut flan for dessert, which was a soft pudding drizzled with a smokey caramel sauce and a coconut flake base. Would definitely come back again!

We had an amazing dinner here last night. The wine selection is expansive and has something for everyone’s pallet and wallet. For dinner we had the tenderloin ( cooked perfectly) and the lobster ravioli. Both were delicious! I wish we had another evening here because there were more items I would have liked to try. Definitely make a reservation it was full.

Great service and excellent food. Came for new years dinner and the place was busy. We made reservations and we're seated quickly. Food and drinks arrived at a reasonable time. Food arrived hot and tasty. The ribeye was cooked well and had great flavor.

From start to finish, Sabor & Sazon was a home run. We stumbled across this new restaurant in downtown Paso Robles by accident. The owner’s son was out front and invited us to come try their food. His clear passion and extensive knowledge of the menu grabbed our attention. Seeing the menu and its Spanish/Italian influences sealed the deal. We chose to sit at the bar since we love to talk to restaurant employees. The restaurant decor was absolutely beautiful, with the perfect mix of modern but old world feel. We couldn’t help but repeatedly comment on how well designed the place was. Our bartender Jimmy was on point and gave us his recommendations for food. We started with the corn soufflé, accompanied by their house bread and whipped olive spread. The corn soufflé was incredible. There was this decadent, rich creaminess from the Parmesan cheese sauce, met head on by the sweetness of the corn which resulted in an extremely well balanced dish that we couldn’t resist. It was so good we ordered an extra to take home! The house bread was also excellent. Perfectly baked, crispy yet soft, and paired with a whipped olive spread. We normally don’t finish a bread basket…this one we did. Our grilled vegetable salad had this perfect smokiness from the char and eggplant, with just the right amount of dressing to give a counter to the smokiness. Absolutely amazing. The paella. Oh my. We love a good paella, which is a rare thing these days. The rice was perfectly cooked, the seafood was exceptional and fresh tasting, but most importantly the dish had enough salt! Too often paella is bland and needs salt. Chefs these days are afraid to salt enough, but with a dish like this you need it to bring out the flavors of the spices and seafood. THIS is a paella that stands out. The portion was huge but we nearly finished it. The rest will end up as breakfast with a runny egg. Amazing. Dessert was the Flan de Coco. Flan should be firm, not runny, and this one hit all the boxes. Nicely firm, a great mix of coco sweetness and the coconut added a textural element we found very enjoyable. We had a chance to speak with Chef Jorge and it was obvious he had a love for fresh ingredients and soulful food. His excitement to discuss his influences and inspirations further cemented our impressions of the food. He clearly has a passion for creating exciting yet familiar dishes filled with flavor and technique. We frequent Paso often, with our “must go” list of places we always make sure to hit while in town. Sabor & Sazon just made that list.

My boyfriend and I were looking for a fine dining delicious dinner spot for my birthday and found Sabor & Sazón. The establishment is a fully family run business that just opened a week ago. The culinary experience we had was absolutely delectable as we tried an appetizer, drink, main entree, and dessert. We enjoyed calamari, fresh wine spritzers, filet migon, and sword fish as well as the tart ricotta. The staff were so friendly and treated us with such great service. They even did a special surprise for us since we were celebrating my birthday. We left feeling full, welcomed and motivated to share our experience on here because we definitely will come again and advise others to treat themselves to this experience! Thank you to Jorge Jr, our waiters and the owner for coming to welcome us. For only being open a week, we hope you have many years of success and can share the beautiful gift of your restaurant, food and staff with many guests to come.

Great experience dining here. Friendly and welcoming team members. We had the octopus appetizer special - cooked to perfection with a great smoky taste along with the roasted vegetables (succotash) accompanying this dish (pictured after we had already eaten some). Next up - our mains were the special Squid Ink Fettuccine Pasta with Lobster, Shrimp & Grilled Blue Prawns and a divine sauce; other main course item was the Frutti de Mare pasta which has a delicious tomato based sauce and a generous amount of seafood. I left room for dessert and was not steered wrong when we shared and not too sweet Tarta de Ricotta. We were even asked how we enjoyed our meal by the chefs son. My only regret was leaving our leftover pasta on the table 😔 If you are in Paso - go here as you will not regret your choice.

First time here and we had a great experience. Service was very attentive without hovering. Calamari appetizer was delicious as was the bread and dipping sauce it came with. For the mains we had the frutti di mare, which was like a paella but over spaghetti and it was excellent. The Cesar salad was also great. We also had one of the specials which was a squid ink pasta with shrimp and lobster, really good as well. And we also had the baby back ribs which were very meaty and prepared perfectly. Drinks were solid and the kids enjoyed their mocktails.

We had an absolutely amazing experience at Sabor & Sazón Restaurant in Paso Robles! The food was phenomenal, the grilled calamari was perfectly tender and flavorful, and the bandeja paisa was a mouthwatering feast that left us wanting more. I loved this small restaurant with delicious food, super friendly service-almost like we were family, elegant ambience, featuring white linen table cloths & modern decorating touches. We were told to be sure & start off with Corn Souflee, from Shawn, at Serial Wines. This dessert-like appetizer was melt-in-your-mouth creamy & ultra flavorful. We enjoyed it so much! I've been craving Paella for a long time, so when I noticed it on the menu, it was a foregone conclusion, what I'd order. 5 ⭐s, for my entree, which was perfectly-executed, combining a highly satisfying amount of fresh scallops, shrimp, lobster, clams, mussels, & baby octopus tentacles, perched atop a huge bed of ultra tasty yellow rice, served in a stainless pan. No crust, on the bottom of the rice, but otherwise amazing. My partner ordered 1 of 2 Specials of the evening, Squid Ink Papperdelle, With Lobster & Shrimp. She absolutely loved her dish, as well. The owner approached us, before the food started appearing, & graciously welcomed us to his family restaurant, plus thanked us for coming in. Our server was so polite, speedy, & very professional. I loved this place in Downtown Paso Robles.

Ordered the lamb chops with chimichurri sauce on the side. The lamb was an excellent season which I’m sure took the chef years to develop a nice blend of richness to calm the flavors of the lamb. Medium rare temperature was ideal for the dish. Also, the coconut flan has very rich flavors and an ideal ending to a flavorful meal.

Absolutely hands down the most incredible food EVER. Every single dish was exceptional and perfectly balanced. I couldn’t get enough. The staff was SO nice, attentive, and so professional. Beautiful experience and I truly cannot wait to come back and eat MORE! We got the ceaser salad, clam linguine & split those between us, and the we each got a dessert (ricotta & flan) and I cannot say it enough - everything was PERFECT. AND they had gluten free options that were so delicious! Thank you Jorge Jr for accommodating us so wonderfully!

I visited Paso Robles with my family for a winery tour, but while exploring the town, we discovered Sabor & Sazon—and what a gem it turned out to be. The service was truly exceptional. The host, server, and manager were all incredibly kind, attentive, and welcoming. The restaurant's interior had a calm, gentle atmosphere that made it perfect for a relaxing family dinner. And the food? Absolutely phenomenal. I ordered the Pappardelle En Rosa with grilled chicken. The rosé cream sauce had a rich, deep flavor that was both unique and perfectly balanced—not something you can easily find elsewhere, but also not overwhelming. Just delicious. My wife had the Frutti Di Mare, which featured a variety of seafood in a Pomodoro sauce. The seafood was fresh and perfectly cooked, and the sauce tied everything together beautifully. A truly excellent dish that brought out the full flavor of the sea. Our daughter, a devoted salmon lover, chose the Mandarin Basil Salmon. The salmon was cooked to perfection—crispy on the outside, tender and juicy inside. The mandarin tomato basil sauce paired with it so well that she said it was one of the best salmon dishes she’s ever had. Our son went for the Lomo Saltado, a dish that seemed inspired by Peruvian cuisine and made with skirt steak. While we weren't entirely sure of the exact style, the flavors were bold and satisfying—he absolutely loved it. Every single dish and desserts exceeded our expectations. Sabor & Sazon gave our family a truly memorable dining experience. We left full, happy, and already planning to come back. This place is a hidden gem in Paso Robles—highly recommended!

Very good food at a very reasonable price. My girlfriend and I are visiting from Santa Monica and thought this place was spectacular, and the prices would easily be almost double where we are. Great cocktails, some with sake infused liquor. The food was very flavorful; the corn souffle was remnant of fresh sweet corn and the sauce as well as cotija on top took it to the next level. The ribeye was well cooked and seasoned; a bit on the thinner side but the way the chef made it definitely made up for it. The bandeja paisa was the star of the show for me; the skirt steak was a perfect medium rare with an incredibly flavorful marinade, the beans and rice were the best I’ve ever had a from a restaurant, every other element was additionally as superb with the arepa being almost unrealistically good. The service was amazing with the staff being very attentive. Food did not take long to come out at all. This restaurant has sparked joy in both of our hearts and we look forward to our return.

Excellent dining experience— Food, Service and Ambience. Tried their Corn Soufflé (Honduran recipe) was absolutely delicious. More later

Ok. So I rate many places 5 stars. We pick good ones. This one was also recommended by Diablo Paso wines. Food was very, very delicious and so flavorful!! The corn soufflé was the best I’ve ever had - so light and amazing! The branzino and mixed meat dish I had - so, so good!! Great wine selection too - but add Diablo Paso wines to the menu!! A great match. You must come here! Highly recommended!!!

Nourishment with soul; a family run gem in Paso Robles! Ingredients were very fresh and the meat was perfectly cooked with crispiness and tenderness well balanced.

One of the best dining experiences I've had in recent years! Great family ran operation executing michelin leveled food and service. Their wine list/ wine service were great (offered to decant my 2017 Booker GSM before I even had to ask) and manager came by to see if I was interested in pairing my wine with my meal. I did and had an excellent rack of lamb and my partner a decadent Ribeye with a black truffle sauce that was out of this world. Please if there's anything you do in your free time while in Paso Robles, come and enjoy a phenomenal meal with even better people!!

Went there for Valentines Day Weekend through multiple recommendations from different wineries and shops around town. Apart from the phenomenal wine list/service, the food was out of this world. I ordered a Lobster Ravioli prepares expertly and my partner a Ribeye with the best sauce Ive ever tried. Also saw the Tomahawk and it looked amazing too! Will be coming back to see what else Im blown away by!

Just enjoyed an excellent dinner with my husband at Sabor & Sazón. Everybody was very attentive, everything we ordered was outstanding delicious and flavorful. We loved the Tarta de Chocolate for desert. Fully recommend this restaurant. Dankeschön for everything!!!!!

Phenomenal service, fantastic drinks and delicious food all for a totally reasonable price! What more could you ask for??! We walked up for an early dinner. The hostess was super pretty and very professional. They had other reservations that would need our table in a little over an hour but she gave us the option for table or bar. Our party was only for two ppl so the hour was perfect for one drink, our meals and a dessert to share. He had the short rib pork special, that must’ve been good because he cleared his plate and didn’t offer me a bite! I tried the Bandeja Paisa-Amazing!! I will be back just for that plate. It’s simple yet eloquently executed. Great job chef! P.S. You must try the banana cheesecake. SO good, but I wonder if I could ask em to serve it bananas foster style next time 🤔 doesn’t matter, cause we’ll be back to try anything on the menu! Thnx Sabor & Sazon

Make your reservation now! This restaurant will not disappoint. From the bread to the dessert, everything we had was beyond delicious. The hostess, busser, server, and owner (who treated us to a complimentary flan de coco) were all incredibly friendly, hospitable, and attentive. We had the Osso Buco special and the squid ink pappardelle special and both were a hit. As locals, we had heard rave reviews and never got around to trying it til now. Exceeded all expectations. Go. You won’t regret it.

Took my son and his girlfriend here this week as walkins. The food was excellent, and the service was also very good. We were in early, so the chef was in the dinning room and stopped by for a quick word very nice conversation. All-in-all and excellent experience.

Everything was perfect. Delicious food and service even better. We had the ribeye, lomo saltado and the parpadelle. Delicious! The chef came by our table and was so lovely. Highly recommend and will come back next time we're in town.

Great service and excellent food. Came for new years dinner and the place was busy. We made reservations and we're seated quickly. Food and drinks arrived at a reasonable time. Food arrived hot and tasty. The ribeye was cooked well and had great flavor.

We were a party of 8 for dinner. The food was good but small quantities for the price. Halibut was tasty but was not filling as the portion was small, served with 2 thin slices of zucchini and the mashed potatoes were cold and dense. The event would have been fine however it was terribly overpriced.

Sabor and Saxon is a great place for lunch (that’s what we had). The food is fresh and delicious but a bit overpriced. Our server was good but not great - we had a couple of miscommunications but we worked through them and everyone was satisfied. The room is large without much personality - I’m afraid it would be really loud if the place was busy. Overall, I would go again but there are a lot of other places in Paso to try.

Great family run business. Lots of potential but needs a bit more polishing. The open tapenade with bread…. We personally didn’t like the type of bread and the tapenade was too sweet. Our order had way too much salt but they replaced it without hesitation. Second time was spot on. Service was seating from the hostess was spot on. Seating of couples away from groups. And our server was very good. This restaurant will be around for a while due to the attention to details. We will be back. Oh yeah, the flan was rather yummy, almost thick like cheesecake. The powdered sugar was odd though since it became stick lumps.

Just had a ribeye steak at this place, very thin cut and not worth 63 dollars. The cab they served me was 2 days old and the manager initially refused to open a new bottle until I made a big deal about it. Very sub par service. Try steakhouse inn for a better experience.

Very unfortunate that I need to provide this review. We chose this restaurant for a birthday celebration. The food was decent - a little saving grace. But the reception greeting and the checkout was extraordinarily disappointing. Upon arrival, I was the first to arrive and my buddies were right behind me. I was told, “they have 15 minute grace period because your table has a 6:45 reservation right after you.” I was pressured to begin ordering. Then at the end of the meal, my other friend reminded them (since it appeared as if they forgot) that it was our friend’s birthday celebration. THEN, they said, “since your time is up, you can take your bday dessert to-go, would that be ok?” WTH??? I couldn’t believe it! It’s not like this was a Michelin starred restaurant. The birthday friend mentioned - “I felt like I’m being kicked out” as they gave the to-go plastic bag of cake and forks.
